Up nice today, keep it on the watchlist.
nice move, and volume should be close to million today. Any other reasons J.B? thx 8)
j.b. and eliteg,
when you bring up a stock and recommend watching it, when do you actually go into it? what kind of indicators do you use to get in, volume, momemntum?
fyi, from another board
Also after just a quick glance at this, there were approx. 29 mil O/S in March of 2005, and an sb-2 issued in May of 2005 for an additional 27,800,859 shares.
I dont get into any of these unless they have a dip in price.

when you say dip, how big do you mean? for example, cbai is currently 0.27 +0.08 on the the day. If it dips wouldn't that be considered a change in momentum?
I'm nto an experienced trader, so i'm just learning but currently i'm gonna buy CBAI if it hits .25...but Elite or the other experienced traders might know more about buying on dips.
good info, catrader :)
I usually use what appears to me as strength. trendline break with volume... not that simple though because I have looked at many charts over the years.. you sometimes get a feel for the patterns that work.
Basically if you develop strong instincts(based on T/A) when you want to buy you do it! With pennies you need to be willing to take a greater amount of loss. They can be devastating and amazing.
I sometimes use dips but I like to buy high and sell higher mostly :)
I watch a lot more than I buy ;)
for dip buying some tactics:
fib retrace(38.2%, 50%, 61.8%) - you connect a trough or start of a move to its current high and use those percentages for a dip buy...
trendline support
moving averages: simple and exponential...a popular one is 20 ema but for these fast movers you may need 9ema
middle or bottom of a tall candle created in the run up
gap zone created in the runup
or previous support zone - horizontal support

eliteg,
maybe after hours or when not looking at the market can create another thread where can post charts to give us example of these strategies. I been following the market too, but when it comes to technical and fundamental analysis, long ways to go. Any sites or books you would recommend?
A good place to start is the chart school @ stockcharts.com. It is free and good basic-some intermediate T/A stuff. With visuals. So I would say devour that... and then lets talk. :D
Broke up to .28..I was in at .25. Lets see if it holds. ::)
I bought at .30.
Looking for an uptrend ::)
on fire.... up 33%....this morning......real good volume....
up now 51%......first 30 minutes.....on fire......thanks j.b. throwing you an applaud..it was chosen penny stock of the year 2005....
Dang, This is on fire ended the day at 100% right at the closing bell. To bad I sold at .53 ;D
Ok.. I'm a complete retard.. I saw the press release Weds before the market opened.. I could of had all I wanted at .19 cents, but I blew it off as a pump and dump since some site called Pennystockchat.com was touting the stock and they issued a press release for it... Could of had an easy Triple Bagger.. I'm Kicking myself!!

Premier online investment community discusses Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Bank, Cord Blood America Inc.(OTCBB:CBAI) and the Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act Of 2005 (HR-2520)
In recent months, there has been considerable excitement and discussion on Wall Street regarding Stem Cell companies and what many perceive to be the beginning of a Biomedical Revolution!
While many of these companies emphasize that they have not produce any significant revenue for years to come, investors continue to accumulate shares and prices continue to achieve new 52-week highs.
Some of the companies are as follows: StemCells Incorporated, Aastrom Biosciences, ViaCell, Geron and CyCro Cell Inc.
A quick review of the share price performance of any of these companies illustrates incredible gains for investors in a relatively short period of time with market-caps of many exceeding 300 million dollars.
If you had the opportunity to invest in any of these companies long ago, knowing that you would have realized the substantial gains that many shareholders have realized to date, would you? If you were presented with an opportunity today to invest in a company that is expected to perform as well or better than any of these companies, would you?
Today we discuss a Stem Cell company that has only recently started trading on the Bulletin Board Exchange and that is relatively undiscovered by the masses. Not only has it yet to be discovered, it also is a Stem Cell company that actually earns revenue and has in fact increased revenue for nine consecutive Quarters!

I owned this stock a few months ago at .08 and sold at .20..DANCESWITHBULLS.COM sent it as their PICK of the year on Weds...Bought at .19 with a target of 2.00 in the next 6 months....but now with the stock closing at .66...I say 2.00 is too low of an estimate. This is a winner..I read about the stock before, but now it is no longer a day trade...IMO
good call j.b....would you buy at .53 if it came down...providing there is volume?
By the way this thing was acting at the close, I think it's gonna shoot tommorrow. But getting in before the shoot will be hard. See what you can do.
Watching it for sure, if momentum remains then it will challenge that IPO high of $1.50, worth trying to get on this train IMHO.
Mike
I think this one is gonna go huge today, looking for re-entry.
I bought at 0.56.
In with 10,000 shares at .053. I must confess this pull back looked like brvo the other day. Anybody agree? Since I missed that one, I had to pull the trigger on this one. Did I jump on board too soon again as I did with brvo, or will the profit taking continue? I hope its profit taking and not a knife.
Nice move today. Up near .80 again. Volume over 1M already.
CBAI seems to be going the wrong direction, up up up is what we want.
8) A climb back to $.80 would be swell.
Ready to bounce? fib retracement over 61.8 ...any meanings.? ...i expect a bounce soon
Cup with handle formation is forming here could be powerful on the next approach up to .75 level.
I bought some CBAI 0.46 (little amount)
My other highflyers are HISC and IFDG.
Good Luck!
When looking at cord blood chart at the end of a the day is it possible that an inverted head and shoulders is forming. Im pretty new to the technical stuff, so I figured you guys could confirm. Thanks. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to post the chart.
Well, I'm stuck in here. Hope all your good tidings pan out! In a year or so it may come back to .52 where I bought. Happy trading!
Nice point to reenter. Starting to climb again on nice volume.
per an e-mail i got, it says might run to 0.40 based on MACD, on-balance-volume, relative
strength, and accumulation-distribution . so bought small position. we shall see if it pans out. a company in a promising area I would say.

Cord Blood America Says President Bush Signing Umbilical Cord Blood Bill is a Key to the Future of Industry; Will Save Lives
12/21/2005 5:00:30 AM
LOS ANGELES, Dec 21, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Cord Blood America, Inc. (CBAI), the umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation company which is focused on bringing the life saving potential of stem cells to families nationwide, said that the signing by President Bush of The Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act of 2005, following recent overwhelmingly approval by Congress, brings the "best kept medical secret" to the forefront in fighting terrible conditions and diseases.
"Umbilical cords are a non-controversial, richly endowed source of stem cells. Currently most hospitals simply throw them away. Thousands of Americans suffer or die needlessly each year because of the unavailability of matching stem cells. Cord Blood America is in the forefront in offering the affordable service to families for the storage of the umbilical cord blood at the time of birth," said Matthew Schissler, Cord Blood America CEO.
Rep. Chris Smith (R -- N.J.), co-sponsor of the legislation, said: "Cord blood stem cells are already treating patients. The New York Blood Center alone has treated thousands of patients with more than 65 diseases, including sickle-cell disease, leukemia and osteoporosis. Cord blood has also been used to treat neurological conditions, debunking the idea that cord blood cells can only treat blood disorders."
"On the contrary," the New Jersey Congressman said, "14 separate studies have shown that adult and cord blood stem cells possess the capability to transform into most tissue types in the body, including nerve cells, heart cells and insulin-secreting cells. This ability to transform offers the potential to yield a cure for spinal cord injuries and diseases including Parkinson's, diabetes and Alzheimer's."
"This recognition by Congress and the President of the importance of saving umbilical cord blood is both heartening and crucial to future successes in saving lives," Mr. Schissler said.

In Analyst Interview, Cord Blood America Says Stem Cells Now Front and Center for Researchers and Investors
Thursday February 5, 8:00 am ET
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cord Blood America, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CBAI - News), the umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation company (http://www.cordblood-america.com ) focused on bringing the life saving potential of stem cells to families nationwide and internationally, said today that Matthew Schissler, founder and CEO, in an interview with analyst Francis Gaskins, explained that the Company is very close to becoming cash flow positive.
The complete interview is available at http://www.stoxrox.com/cbai-feb-b.mp3 . "2009 is a tipping point year for Cord Blood America. We will continue our organic growth strategy, adding new health insurance partners and possible new acquisitions, while continuing to reduce debt," Mr. Schissler said.
Cord Blood America's CEO said he was encouraged that more Federal spending on stem cell research under President Obama could lead to more stem cell therapies which, in turn, will lead to more families storing stem cells. "The stem cell agenda is front and center with the new Administration," Mr. Schissler said.
Cord Blood America's CEO also referenced the cover story of the new Time magazine, which cited breakthroughs using stem cells to treat Parkinson's, heart disease and diabetes.
