Title: RVNM.OB – A 50 bagger ?
Post by: J.Livermore on June 29, 2005, 12:35:54 PM

This is my last acquisition on the penny world !
RVNM.OB http://www.ravenmoon.net/
Bid: 0.0001
Ask: 0.0002

I have a 50% risk on this one, and I think it could easily come to be a 50 bagger plus.
Why that ?
The volume was my first alert, but this is a completely forgotten penny, that nobody look at, and take a look at this news from June the 20th:
Raven Moon to Produce Disney/Pixar Style Low-Budget G-Rated Animated Feature Films
Monday June 20, 8:31 am ET
$1.5 Million in Animation Cost Per Film With a Target Return of $25 Million
 (http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/050620/80191.html)

This is simple math, and once the 0.0002 sellers get their money, this stock could sky rocket in just a few days. So I've bought a few million shares, to give these sellers their money.

Just like to share this trading idea with you folks, God bless!

Good material Jesse ;)

Well, since the risk is just 50% ;D, I may buy a couple of Millions, I remember the last time I've bought shares for 0.0002, and it was good, if you know what I mean.  >:D
So I'm definitely buying your idea ;)

OK i will post it in 2 or 3 parts

Naked shorting into $0.0001, or, **Cellar Boxing**
There's a form of the securities fraud known as naked short selling that is becoming very popular and lucrative to the Market Makers that practice it. It is known as "Cellar boxing" and it has to do with the fact that the NASD and the SEC had to arbitrarily set a minimum level at which a stock can trade. This level was set at $.0001 or one-one hundredth of a penny. This level is appropriately referred to as "the cellar". This $.0001 level can be used as a "backstop" for all kinds of market maker and naked short selling manipulations.
"Cellar boxing" has been one of the security frauds du jour since 1999 when the market went to a "decimalization" basis. In the pre-decimalization days the minimum market spread for most stocks was set at 1/8th of a dollar and the market makers were guaranteed a healthy "spread". Since decimalization came into effect, those one-eighth of a dollar spreads now are often only a penny as you can see in Microsoft's quote throughout the day. Where did the unscrupulous MMs go to make up for all of this lost income? They headed "south" to the OTCBB and Pink Sheets where the protective effects from naked short selling like Rule 10-a, and NASD Rules 3350, 3360, and 3370 are nonexistent.
The unique aspect of needing an arbitrary "cellar" level is that the lowest possible incremental gain above this cellar level represents a 100% spread available to MMs making a market in these securities. When compared to the typical spread in Microsoft of perhaps four-tenths of 1%, this is pretty tempting territory. In fact, when the market is no bid to $.0001 offer there is theoretically an infinite spread.

i hear they have expensive wine in the cellar
Title: Re: RVNM.OB – A 50 bagger ?

In order to participate in "cellar boxing", the MMs first need to pummel the price per share down to these levels. The lower they can force the share price, the larger are the percentage spreads to feed off of. This is easily done via garden variety naked short selling. In fact if the MM is large enough and has enough visibility of buy and sell orders as well as order flow, he can simultaneously be acting as the conduit for the sale of nonexistent shares through Canadian co-conspiring broker/dealers and their associates with his right hand at the same time that his left hand is naked short selling into every buy order that appears through its own proprietary accounts. The key here is to be a dominant enough of a MM to have visibility of these buy orders. This is referred to as "broker/dealer internalization" or naked short selling via "desking" which refers to the market makers trading desk. While the right hand is busy flooding the victim company's market with "counterfeit" shares that can be sold at any instant in time the left hand is nullifying any upward pressure in share price by neutralizing the demand for the securities. The net effect becomes no demonstrable demand for shares and a huge oversupply of shares which induces a downward spiral in share price.

In fact, until the "beefed up" version of Rule 3370 (Affirmative determination in writing of "borrowability" by settlement date) becomes effective, U.S. MMs have been "legally" processing naked short sale orders out of Canada and other offshore locations even though they and the clearing firms involved knew by history that these shares were in no way going to be delivered. The question that then begs to be asked is how "the system" can allow these obviously bogus sell orders to clear and settle. To find the answer to this one need look no further than to Addendum "C" to the Rules and Regulations of the NSCC subdivision of the DTCC. This gaping loophole allows the DTCC, which is basically the 11,000 b/ds and banks that we refer to as "Wall Street", to borrow shares from those investors naive enough to hold these shares in "street name" at their brokerage firm. This amounts to about 95% of us. Theoretically, this "borrow" was designed to allow trades to clear and settle that involved LEGITIMATE 1 OR 2 DAY delays in delivery. This "borrow" is done unbeknownst to the investor that purchased the shares in question and amounts to probably the largest "conflict of interest" known to mankind. The question becomes would these investors knowingly loan, without compensation, their shares to those whose intent is to bankrupt their investment if they knew that the loan process was the key mechanism needed for the naked short sellers to effect their goal? Another question that arises is should the investor's b/d who just earned a commission and therefore owes its client a fiduciary duty of care, be acting as the intermediary in this loan process keeping in mind that this b/d is being paid the cash value of the shares being loaned as a means of collateralizing the loan, all unbeknownst to his client the purchaser.
An interesting phenomenon occurs at these "cellar" levels. Since NASD Rule 3370 allows MMs to legally naked short sell into markets characterized by a plethora of buy orders at a time when few sell orders are in existence, a MM can theoretically "legally" sit at the $.0001 level and sell nonexistent shares all day long because at no bid and $.0001 ask there is obviously a huge disparity between buy orders and sell orders. What tends to happen is that every time the share price tries to get off of the cellar floor and onto the first step of the stairway at $.0001 there is somebody there to step on the hands of the victim corporation's market.

Once a given micro cap corporation is "boxed in the cellar" it doesn't have a whole lot of options to climb its way out of the cellar. One obvious option would be for it to reverse split its way out of the cellar but history has shown that these are counter-productive as the market capitalization typically gets hammered and the post split share price level starts heading back to its original pre-split level.
Title: Re: RVNM.OB – A 50 bagger ?
Post by: kekec on June 29, 2005, 01:14:39 PM
Another option would be to organize a sustained buying effort and muscle your way out of the cellar but typically there will, as if by magic, be a naked short sell order there to meet each and every buy order. Sometimes the shareholder base can muster up enough buying pressure to put the market at $.0001 bid and $.0002 offer for a limited amount of time. Later the market makers will typically pound the $.0001 bids with a blitzkrieg of selling to wipe out all of the bids and the market goes back to no bid and $.0001 offer. When the weak-kneed shareholders see this a few times they usually make up their mind to sell their shares the next time that a $.0001 bid appears and to get the heck out of Dodge. This phenomenon is referred to as "shaking the tree" for weak-kneed investors and it is very effective.

At times the market will go to $.0001 bid and $.0003 offer. This sets up a juicy 200% spread for the MMs and tends to dissuade any buyers from reaching up to the "lofty" level of $.0003. If a $.0002 bid should appear from a MM not "playing ball" with the unscrupulous MMs, it will be hit so quickly that Level 2 will never reveal the existence of the bid. The $.0001 bid at $.0003 offer market sets up a "stalemate" wherein market makers can leisurely enjoy the huge spreads while the victim company slowly dilutes itself to death by paying the monthly bills with "real" shares sold at incredibly low levels. Since all of these development-stage corporations have to pay their monthly bills, time becomes on the side of the naked short sellers.

At times it almost seems that the unscrupulous market makers are not actively trying to kill the victim corporation but instead want to milk the situation for as long of a period of time as possible and let the corporation die a slow death by dilution. The reality is that it is extremely easy to strip away 99% of a victim company's share price or market cap and to keep the victim corporation "boxed" in the cellar, but it really is difficult to kill a corporation especially after management and the shareholder base have figured out the game that is being played at their expense.

As the weeks and months go by the market makers make a fortune with these huge percentage spreads but the net aggregate naked short positions become astronomical from all of this activity. This leads to some apprehension amongst the co-conspiring MMs. The predicament they find themselves in is that they can't even stop naked short selling into every buy order that appears because if they do the share price will gap and this will put tremendous pressures on net capital reserves for the MMs and margin maintenance requirements for the co-conspiring hedge funds and others operating out of the more than 13,000 naked short selling margin accounts set up in Canada. And of course covering the naked short position is out of the question since they can't even stop the day-to-day naked short selling in the first place and you can't be covering at the same time you continue to naked short sell.

What typically happens in these situations is that the victim company has to massively dilute its share structure from the constant paying of the monthly burn rate with money received from the selling of "real" shares at artificially low levels. Then the goal of the naked short sellers is to point out to the investors, usually via paid "Internet bashers", that with the, let's say, 50 billion shares currently issued and outstanding, that this lousy company is not worth the $5 million market cap it is trading at, especially if it is just a shell company whose primary business plan was wiped out by the naked short sellers' tortuous interference earlier on.

The truth of the matter is that the single biggest asset of these victim companies often becomes the astronomically large aggregate naked short position that has accumulated throughout the initial "bear raid" and also during the "cellar boxing" phase. The goal of the victim company now becomes to avoid the 3 main goals of the naked short sellers, namely: bankruptcy, a reverse split, or the forced signing of a death spiral convertible debenture out of desperation. As long as the victim company can continue to pay the monthly burn rate, then the game plan becomes to make some of the strategic moves that hundreds of victim companies have been forced into doing which includes name changes, CUSIP # changes, cancel/reissue procedures, dividend distributions, amending of by-laws and Articles of Corporation, etc. Nevada domiciled companies usually cancel all of their shares in the system, both real and fake, and force shareholders and their b/ds to PROVE the ownership of the old "real" shares before they get a new "real" share. Many also file their civil suits at this time also. This indirect forcing of hundreds of U.S. micro cap corporations to go through all of these extraneous hoops and hurdles as a means to survive, whether it be due to regulatory apathy or lack of resources, is probably one of the biggest black eyes the U.S. financial systems have ever sustained. In a perfect world it would be the regulators that periodically audit the "C" and "D" sub-accounts at the DTCC, the proprietary accounts of the MMs, clearing firms, and Canadian b/ds, and force the buy-in of counterfeit shares, many of which are hiding behind altered CUSIP #s, that are detected above the Rule 11830 guidelines for allowable "failed deliveries" of one half of 1% of the shares issued. U.S. micro cap corporations should not have to periodically "purge" their share structure of counterfeit electronic book entries but if the regulators will not do it then management has a fiduciary duty to do it.

More about cellar boxing: http://www.amds.us/

Yes, probably it's a Cellar boxing, but do you know what happens when the cellar stop working around ? You just watch, all we have to do is to wait a few days, this kind of scheme doesn't work for more then one month, then they have to move elsewhere, opening the gates again!

kekec: thank you very much for that fine explanation!

I never understood how it could be done...

At one time I noticed that DSTI was on a "naked short list" - that was about a month ago, and right after that the stock went flying!

Will be interesting to see, how this works out.

Thanks (and applause)

I've been noticing this one for many days now on the most actives and wondered why such large shares were trading and basically now price movement so dismissed it as speculative.
Do you think this is a possible buyout candidate?

Could somebody please explain to me the difference between this stock (RVNM) and a stock like CMKX that has traded at massive volume for many months now at .0001 pps and never EVER moves?

I'm interested in joining the others on the rocket ride but I need to understand it a bit better.  The "cellar boxing" explaination was fine. I just want to hear about a few more examples of stocks that broke out of this rut.

Reassure me damnit!  ;D

kressad .. CMKX was buildign for months all over the internet and off the internet,.. i know it, because i played it and made $5k into $35k in matter of weeks. thing about CMKX was that the crazy uncle melvin their PR guy was 'pumping' it all over radio stations and where ever it was possible... so once big guns noticed this they started to buy and buy big .. i know a group of traders that put $100k in it day after day after day .. i also know that CMKX was hot even on wall street clubs where the fat managers go for drinks .. MM NITE made millions of millions dollars on it in a span of 3 months.

RVNM on the other hand is unknown.. it only got some modest volume .. you have to kbnow that 200mill at 0.0002 is only $40k  thats what my granny could afford .. for cellar boxing to move you need millions day after day  otherwise MMs will jkeep on shorting all your 0.0002 buys and covering at 0.0001 when you get bored holding...  you will need volume in billions for cellar boxing to move.. unless MMs want it to move .. they will want it to move when there will be enough of an interest to move so they can make the real money..  not $40k thats less than pocket change to them

I'm betting on this stock. I have seen the shows and everything looks great. Should be only a matter of time. Plus the company has been moving to do full length animated movie. They have the people in place to pull this off. They were hiring ex-Disney animators when Disney shipped all the animation jobs overseas.

Gentlemen:  (and Ladies)

I read some solid posts today, nice job.  These folks have a product, but need to build on it.  Then, they have to market it and sell it.  And, make money.  It doesn't take a Harvard Lawyer to know this.  Speculative play? Yes.  BUT, If these folks can deliver on anything that their press releases have indicated what is to come, well then, it's a new ball game.  I understand the MM manipulation, but if the company and the products are for real, as I suspect they are, then if there's a penny stock out there that can potentially deliver big time, this is one.  (In my humble opinion)

So, I will walk up to the window and ask for X $ to Win on the R Horse !   :)

Good Luck

Doesn't exactly fit with a short term move.  Could end up watching this for over year to see some movement.  In the shorter term you could multiply your $ several times over and then buy in several months down the road when it's a surer bet.
Don't want to rain on anyone's holiday but I've been waiting on a spec like this in EKWX to take off now for over 6 mths now and is bounces up and down but their big announcement that was supposed to arrive by the end of March still hasn't come yet.

This stock just needs a little stock promotion, and I'm sure the MM will run like crazy. This comp is having real business, and they are for real, so these naked shorters are the ones going to be naked soon. btw, this cellar is not so profitable like this, this volume is not so enormous, and most of the shares are being traded on the ask and not on the bid, so where is the money the MM is making ???? they are just selling shares, not buying them again, and that's just suicide for them.

If we all start talking about this penny around, I'm sure they will go away, and that what I'm going to do !

How did you get .00015 ?

I am going to pound this tape tomorrow.   There's no risk here.  This buy doesn't fit into my normal trading strategy, but that's why I have three different trading accounts.  One I trade everyday, one I have ETF's.  The third I have reserved for plays like this, where I just keep accumulating.

Hmm just a thought if everyone put in limit orders at $0.0002, but the fills were coming back $0.00015 then to me this cellar boxing is being executed pretty badly as 'they' whomever 'they' are are filling below the limits ergo losing money that is on the table for them to take. Well whatever, I bought also and got the $0.00015 fill from the $0.0002 limit so already 33% to the good ;)
I'll only look at this one again if and when it goes above $0.0002

Are we on a rescuemission for this little guy?

Could be fun if we could get it kicked out of the celler :D

If you see a small bump on the chart around midday, that'll be the ones I bought.

750,000 shares @ 0.0002

At e*trade in Denmark they have a "best possible" feature - it's a little scary to use, but a lot of times it works fine.

I wanted to buy a good round million shares - just to know how it felt owning "a million" ;)

If the rescuemission works, then - well who knows?

Cheers!

Just for what it's worth, that volume may be misleading.  I would do a quick Price * Volume and I bet the net worth of shares traded each day has stayed around the same level or gone down.

In answer to Talonz response.  If one did not know better, it would seem that the two plots did not belong together. However, the stock finally caught up with the Accumulation/Distribution Line.   A Positive divergence with Accm/Dist. line.

it is indeed important to develope your own style
i dunno about l ifting this off but it's only 50% risk.... and i only have my funny money in it

say for example you get in sftv now at .025 and it crashes to sub penny again
that will bleed you for a lot more than a 50%
50% is still a lot to lose....but when it's funny money who cares.
we got a 50bagger upside here said J.L - Do you know what type of legand he is?!?!?! 50 bagger upside!!!!!

A reverse stock split is one of the most effective ways to get ride of a cellar boxing scheme !
This is a 1:1000 stock split, so price should be something between $0.15 to $0.20, and of course you divide your # shares for 1000.

No more 50% spread on the bid/ask ;) Means more liquidity, and free trading on this stock. Good news will make real rising effect on the stock, and lots of traders should come back to this stock.

I'm not sure yet, but I think in cases like this, the MM's will have to make prove of ownership of their shares, so naked shorts will be a problem for them ? what about covering ?  :o
Any clues on this ?

This all going to happen on July the 15th.
If Mr. DiFrancesco is a good CEO, he should be thinking in a little stock promotion before this issue... Of course he will have the help of Mr. Jesse Livermore  ;) >:D And I hope I have some company on this ;)

I think this is a good opportunity to see this stock on a free market again, outside the cellar ;)
Current market cap is just 433.19K....... can you believe it ? ? ?

Let's investigate a bit more.......

I do think this play is simple math, like J.L. said in the very first post of this thread.  Hopefully the reverse split will help this get moving and shake-up those naked shorts.  I have no position at this time but rooting for you guys.  J.L. really knows his stuff.   ;)

bigger volume today
my theory is everyone is buying the shares now before the split while they are still cheap, due to the authorized share count being shrunk to 100,000,000 it's easy to suck up most of the float pre split.
just a theory

Raven Moon Reports Share Restructuring Based Upon SB-2 Approval for New Financing to Complete 39 Episodes of GINA D'S KIDS CLUB
07/05/2005 15:57
ORLANDO, Fla., July 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB: RVNM) is pleased to announce that it will be restructuring its stock with a 1000 to 1 reverse split with an effective date of July 15, 2005.

The share restructuring comes after the SEC approved an SB-2 filing which will give the company the ability to receive as much as $3,000,000 in new financing from MG Studios in order to complete the production of 39 GINA D'S KIDS CLUB programs by September 2006.

The $3,000,000 from MG Studios is in addition to the $2.65 million it had given Raven Moon to complete 18 episodes of GINA D'S KIDS CLUB. MG Studios has extended the additional $3,000,000 of financing to Raven Moon Entertainment based on the company's good standing with its payments on the previous $2.65 million in financing that the company received over a year ago.

The board believes the restructuring will allow the company to recapitalize and believes the company is currently undervalued based upon a film library of 24 completed half hour episodes, 140 produced music videos and licensing rights to toys and characters seen on the "GINA D'S KIDS CLUB" programs airing every week nationwide on 155 television stations throughout the U.S.A.

Hi Cumulina,

Like said on my last post (http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=1099.msg6737#msg6737), this stock just needs a bit of stock promotion, because it's already a steady business, on a good sector. Mr Di-Francesco seems to be a great CEO, doing a nice job, that was expected to be done right now.

I believe now, that we may watch the MM going away from 0.0002 before July the 15th, tomorrow I'll buy my last shares, and will just wait for a lot of bags  >:D

Did not realize that Big Apple handles the PR.
This is the same (Matt Maguire) that handles HISC and some other investments that I have.
http://www.bigappleconsulting.com/

My sons enjoyed the promo on the website for Raven Moon.

I am in at .0002 and may buy more.

Typically, a reverse split is not good.

It is in their favor to move the Position before the split.

What are we missing though ?  They have funding and have produced many segments that appear on tv.  How will they get the films to the screen.  And what do they project from other sales ?  DVD, characters...etc.

Anybody know about this company ?  I will call Matt to learn more.

Matt Maguire (Big Apple Consulting) called me back.

Matt said that the company produces a tremendous product.
They are getting closer to being able to air 5 days per week.

The money will be made on the products such as CD's, DVD's and Character items.

Matt said the last time a reverse split happened, the price shot to 74 cents from 10 ?
He cannot assume the same.

The down side is 6 billion shares outstanding.

I am already in at .0002.  Will have to take the chance with the reverse split.

Good luck.

Right now I'm hanging on to everything I have, hoping for the market to normalize, as It's supposed to do.

Rotten thing with terrorists, but those I'll not heed to!

If I go down with all my shares, at least I'll feel good about not selling because of a terrorist-attack!

I'm not selling today, and I'm not buying.

I've been following this stock for about a month, and have researched the company.  I just ran into this board today, and it's quite fun reading all the posts.  For those of you waiting...wondering what the deal is, I found this info some time ago on the company's website, and I found it the only reason this company is in the dark among the public.

and there is much more info too for those who want to know more.

Here is another message board on the company as well that was started some time ago.  I found it helpful to see how people reacted to this stock.

Hate to see my 1.5 mil of shares dwindle since I've never had so many before but it's all about the $ in the end to waiting to see it move.
With only $150 in I can wait a little while. :-\

Maybe now it'll really start moving up?

Should one really throw another $150,- into this thing -   ;D

Cheers!

Revserse Split is on July 15th
Title: Re: RVNM.OB – A 50 bagger ?
Post by: fill_the_gap on July 13, 2005, 08:12:33 PM
It is to their benefit to increase the price before the split.  Would make a tremendous difference.

Never been here before with a reverse split.  Not sure how it will play out.

Matt Maguire (The consulting firm) said it rose substantially (74 cents?) the last reverse split and then returned back to .0001.

I do not expect that as the share ratio is now different.
Let's get it out of the Cellar before the Reverse Split.

ie:  1,000-1 at .0001 is 10 cent open.
1,000-1 just getting to .0003 is 30 cents before a potential fall back down.

The company has enough episodes to go 5 days per week.
The money will come from CD's and merchandise from character recognition.
They have financing for the movies of 3 million.

Great learning experience here folks !!

The date is tomorrow.

Any particular time ?

Will be exciting to be a part of it.

Will probably not hold for long as 99% of these come back down.

But I really do like the concept.  # shares outstanding hurts them ;)

So, tomorrow the plan is to sell? so the reverse split will mean i own 1000shares at .1...and then hopefully price will move up from that..is this correct...still confused.

good luck everyone!

the thing is you might have wanted to wait until after the split
however, you are getting in low at .1(.0001)
the people who paid .0002 will be .2 so if they start with a trading range of .1 they are really missing out on .11 .12 .13- so on.... however you will be able to gain nicely if it moves up while they have to wait for a break of .2. this will be an interesting watch for sure.

Unfortunately my broker won't allow me to set a buy-price with more digits than 2 (0.01!)

Or I can ask for "best buy" and cross my fingers.

Wich is what I did, and therefore I was in at 0.0002.

Eagerly awaiting  :P

you are already up 100% julia on paper
tomorrow morning we could see a flood of buying from people who have been waiting until after the r/s. more experienced traders with patience who might want to capitalize on the recent news and lower o/s and a/s :D

The only thing that I will miss after tomorrow is that my Brokerage had to value my 15mil shares at .01, resulting in net liquidating value of my account being 150,000.00 more than it accually is. This caused my "free money" - what they allow me to buy with, without using margin - to be much higher. I have had a lot to play with lately, but this will change after the reverse. Good Luck to all of you.

Hi Dovergiligence..i just realized something when u mentioned perhaps i should have waited until tomorrow to buy...only because i had this happen to one of my stocks before and it actually took my broker a couple of days to realize the price and share change over...so...i may not even be able to trade tomorrow...whoops..forgot about that..but, its ok..i put only $125 into it..although $25 of that is commission...lol.

But, can i ask what happend to the 50bagger!! is that not a potential anymore., or is everyone just trying to double there money at best?

Doverdiligence...sorry, what is a timestamp?  Where do u see that...my platform doesn't show me that.

thanks very much for you responses!!! Appreciate them very much ;D

good luck to everyone tomorrow!!

So, in that case..is it worth for me to hold it until August 19th? Will it go up to .25 then?

I looked thru the thread, but, could not see any actual news out on it.

Can anyone post the site where they got that information from  please?

Well...im sure its too late today anyway, but..never know maybe the Aug 19th dividend payout will cause it to go up to .25...and maybe by then my broker will have their facts straight.

Appreciate any help on this.

It looks like this trading strategy was only good for boosting up this topic  :(
I have to admit this was the worst trade I've ever done so far, taking in consideration the topic subject – 50 bagger.

I feel responsible for bringing a lot of people to this trade, and I won't sell my shares now.
I don't have a big position on RVMN, and I don't think this is going to continue to fall bellow the lows of the day, so I'll keep this position, and I'll give a lot of room to it.
But it hurts anyway.

This stock was inside a box, trading activities and moves were not happening, now it's free again, free to go up, and free to go down. Obviously it chooses to go down today against my expectations.........
Good news will boost the stock, bad news will bring it down, that was not happening, and it will be happening now, I expect good news.

I've learned a lot with this trade, I hope we all did.
I've learned that I should not talk about 50 baggers ever again !
I've learned I should not buy stocks inside a Cellar Boxing !
I've learned that I should not give my public opinion on such crazy trades !
I've learned the power of the MM's

Sorry guys, I'm really desolated, not with my potential loss, which is really irrelevant on my total equity, but with all the talking I've generated around this stock, and with this dream I've created about it.
I deserve all the smites you could give me on this board !

Title: Re: RVNM.OB – A 50 bagger ?

You didn't twist my arm, so you can not be responsible for what I do.

You obviously believed in the stock, and this you wrote about.

You should continue to give your opinion on trades, allthough the 50-bagger part - as you said yourself - maybe was a little optimistic  ;)

I went in with $150,- so the loss is managable. And as I can't sell them now, I still have the hope that they'll go up! (Cumulina: the eternal optimist ;D )

The news that kept coming out about RVMN was all optimistic, so...

No "smites" from me.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

I am just glad its out of the closet :D

At the end of the day "It's just a penny".   This is a free website and each person is responsible for themselves.  You make the buy, you manage the risk, no one else.

I am always suspect of "50 bagger"  tag lines.  But that doesn't stop me from doing my own DD and bringing a stock to my attention.  Nothing wasted, all but gained!

Livermore,

No harm done.  We all ultimately make our own decisions here.

I also lost alot here.  But the experience is worth some.
And nothing is ever for sure.

You are applauded for the last post.
That is what I like about this site.
People actually feel bad and accountable for bringing a trade to the table.
It is not a pump and dump site.

It could have worked out.  Keep recommending.  Your posts are great !

Plus, my kids loved the promo.  This company may eventually make it big.

Do not look back.  You are great !

I am really curious about what is going on with RVNM.

I can understand that they are sort of trying to "pull themselves out by pulling their own boot-straps" - at least that was what I understood that the reverse split was supposed to do.

And now the stock can be kicked all the way down to $0.0001 again?

But why didn't the reverse split work?

What mechanisms are working here?

Can some benefit from holding the stock down?

I'm sure this post shows my vast ignorance, but I'd really appreciate if someone would try to describe it - preferably simple  ;)

Thank you in advance.

Post by: Michael on July 17, 2005, 05:50:41 PM
Not sure I can answer your questions but I can at least tell you what I feel about the stock.

I have the stock on my watch list. It was put there after Livermore's recommendation. I never bought because I don't like companies with zero revenue unless it is casted in stone that they are going to make money.

Now the press release about the Disney/Pixar Style Low-Budget G-Rated Animated Feature Films almost made it for me. The idea is excellent, the release very bullish (almost too bullish).

Then they do the reverse split and the issue of warrants to shareholders above the PPS. All things that should put the stock on fire - and instead it is dropping like a stone. Something smells!

Drugtester said it is a Boiler room play, I am not sure this is right but it is clear that the company for one reason or another is lacking credibility in the market.

I don't think this will change before (if ever) they produce revenue and profit. When/if this happens I wouldn't be surprised if Livermoore's original vision became true and I can promise you that i will be in the stock.  ;D

Mike applauded. Sometimes we have a rush of blood at the mere mention of those big potentials. Good if you are early in and top out, otherwise you will burn out your portfolio. I don't have a position in this stock but do own some small position pennies and I am not very comfortable holding them.  :-\

Anyway good to trade them with play money, heck there is no such thing as play money in the first place  :)

Thanks for trying to explain, Mike.

RVNM has now been put in the bottom of the drawer, as the brokers fee for selling it would probably be higher than what I could get for them  ;D

Lesson learned. (I hope!)

And yet - who knows? - Maybe one day it'll just burst out of that drawer and surprise all of us.

Cheers.

Raven Moon's Board Approves 5-for-1 Forward Split to Reward Shareholders Who Hold and Acquire Stock in the Last Month of 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raven Moon Entertainment,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RVMN) announced today that its Board of Directors
and majority stockholders approved a forward stock split on a 5-for-1 share
basis. The record date for the forward split is December 31, 2005. The
effective date will be January 30, 2006.
As a result of the forward stock split, every one outstanding share of the
company's common stock will be exchanged for five new shares of common stock.
Common stockholders are not required to take any action related to the forward
split.
"The forward split will increase the holdings of our shareholders,
including all those current and new shareholders who have exercised their 100-
for-1 warrants before December 31, 2005," said Joey DiFrancesco, Chairman and
CEO of Raven Moon. "We have been making good progress in executing our
strategy of increasing the visibility of GINA D'S KIDS CLUB(R), which will
increase demand for toys and other products based on the show's characters.
Building a following is a lengthy process but we have come a long way since
the show first aired in September 2004. We have produced 24 episodes of the
show and expanded our market reach to include 227 stations that carry the
show. Earlier this month, we signed an agreement with WPBT/Channel 2 in Miami
to become public television's exclusive presenting station for our show.
Further, American Public Television (APT) has offered the series for
distribution, with a targeted June 2006 release. These activities represent
our growth strategy, which is augmented by the 'Gina D's Reading Across
America Program'(TM) and other public appearances to promote the show and
reinforce its value to its pre-school audience. The 5-for-1 forward split and
the 100-for-1 warrant dividend are two ways that we can show our appreciation
for our shareholders for their loyalty as we work to grow the company."
