Hmm, it's another Chinese online gaming company, like SNDA, NTES and GA, for example. PWRD's market cap is $1.2 B. $205 M in cash and just $37 M in total liabilities. $94 M in revenue in 2007 and $49 M net income :o It's incredible how profitable these businesses are.
I don't know the company, and the best, fastest and easiest way to get in the know is to read a report made by a professional analyst following the company, for a start. Let me check if there is one ... there are many!
I'll attach one from Merril Lynch. I feel I should have at least one stock of this group, since it is such a profitable business. Anyway, it looks like the very fat profit margins are attracting a lot of competition, as I see more and more companies entering the Chinese online gaming market. Probably the industry won't be as profitable over the next few years ...
