It broke the short term support on last Tuesday, this recovery in the last 2 sessions tested the descending resistance line... the close were below the opening....
It smells like a bit of weakness on the air... I still got it on my watch list since David bring it up this stock... but I confess that I'm not enjoying it's pattern.

placebo-controlled, multicenter, Phase III clinical trial of Neurodex
(TM) in patients with diabetic neuropathic pain. The randomized,
placebo-controlled study will assess efficacy, overall safety and

nervous system (CNS) receptors to treat diabetic neuropathic pain.
i have had this one on my watch list for about a year.....does not move very much....be careful as it can drop like a rock as you can see.....i won't be in this one...a tad to expensive for me ....it's still on my watch list because it is a stock that one can go long on...but i don't go long anymore.....my take is...it's a great stock to go long...be careful daytrading this one.
EliteG or ransburg. Do you still like the technicals on AVN? I bought this as a long in April at 2.40. I liked the stock back in April and wondering if I should dump after today closing at 3.20. Im hearing that anytime now though the FDA is suppossed to approve the drug Neurodex. In your experience if this gets approved how much do you think this stock could run up?

Avanir Pharmaceuticals to Sell 6.1 Million Class a Common Shares for $16.15 Million
SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Avanir Pharmaceuticals, whose products focus on treating chronic diseases, said Tuesday it will sell about 6.1 million of its common shares in a registered direct offering to a select group of buyers.
The company said it has received commitments from a group of institutional investors to purchase $16.15 million of its Class A shares at $2.65 per share, the closing price on Oct. 17.
The shares are being offered directly by the company. As of Aug. 4, Avanir had about 108.4 million Class A shares outstanding.
Shares of Avanir rose 22 cents, or 8.3 percent, to $2.87 in afternoon trading on the American Stock Exchange. Over the past 52 weeks, shares of the company have traded in a range of $2.10 to $3.85.
AVN formed a bottom triangle, RSI is up, MACD is pointing up, Volume is up and i put a traget of $4.10 on it !

I've got
5.44 IN PLAY, just about in the middle of your range. Might take awhile, like the 4.21 target took, since it's a year-long pattern breakout.
