Trading Idea: Fundamentals: Technical:
QTWW are active in alternative energy primarily for vehicles, they also have a newly acquired interest in solar power from a Germany company purchased this year. they are a small cap player in a huge growth market. Their financials are ok, and growing, but they have been subject to dilution and funding which is a hallmark of small high growth companies. There most recent quarter results are attached;

Technically the stock has powered up from $0.40c in Jan to a high of $3 in June. Now it is consolidating and battling with strong resistance at the $2 area. The idea with this trade is to time a run back up to test the $3 ceiling. Currently the $2 area is acting as a floor and the $3 area the ceiling. This range offers us a chance to trade the next move it may make upwards. So the plan will be to buy QTWW if it trades above $2.20, this puts it above descending resistance and above strong support, if that move is volume backed it should challenge the $3 ceiling quite quickly.
Standby Trade Plan:
BUY QTWW if it trades $2.20 or above
Update:
(Will be posted later)
Sorry for the late notice after the open, but we want to buy QTWW today:
Trading Plan:
Buy QTWW today
QTWW bought @ $1.85
Update:
Since first putting QTWW on a standby trade plan the price has drifted lower on low volume into an area of ascending support which gives us an opportunity to enter. My original plan was a breakout entry, but the technical layout gave us another entry zone. Buying breakouts or buying support, using both approaches gives us great flexibility in our trade plans.
On Aug 20th we got the news that QTWW were selling 9M units of shares and warrants to 1 institution at $2.12 per share. The warrants (1.5M) have an exercise price of $4. This significant investment whilst dilution can also be viewed as a signal that this investor must have high confidence that what QTWW have shown them justifys a sizeable investment to be made. The fact they paid above $2 helped my decision to enter on any support area below it.
I am also watching another alternative fuel company FSYS, umlike QTWW they do have earnings to speak of and have an incfredibly bullish chart pattern, put it on watch yourselves, it may appear in our ports very soon.
No stop in place just yet, lets see how things shape up in the current trade pattern.
Trade Plan:
HOLD QTWW

Very Interesting and informative. Must Look for QTWW Shareholders
let me highlight a few slides eggman...
Update:
Thanks Eggman and la-onda for the links and slides. Another news release today relating to the consolidation of its 2 Californian operational facilities into 1 http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080904/lath508.html?.v=21 (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080904/lath508.html?.v=21) This news is just another step along the execution of strategy towards profitability which the presentation slides in la-onda's post depict.
Technically QTWW is drifting somewhat, unable to break the descending resistance at this point. The $1.50 to $1.70 zone is an area of strong support we will continue to watch the current action to define ongoing strategy. No change to the trade plan.
Trade Plan:
HOLD QTWW
Update:
I am not enjoying the current market sentiment and neither is QTWW.
I will put in a protective stop and a limit sell (to basically bracket an exit around the position) today Stop is just below yesterdays low, limit is just below 20ema. I don't want to see QTWW just drift and drift down the reasoning for the trade was to catch a run back up to the $3 zone not a run down to $1.50.
Trade Plan:
HOLD QTWW with a stop at $1.58 and limit sell at $1.82
