Post by: kaiotes on July 04, 2005, 08:42:12 PM
suppose a stock missings its earnings slightly but greatly exceeds its revenue expectations.
how would the market react to this stock?
Say pretty well establish company, big market capitalization, nasdaq stock

IMO it should do well if company provides better guidence for next qtr. Investor's are more interested in future earnings then past or present.
If company is in a healthy business and have better future then little earning miss might not mean much.
That's only my opinion.
