Title: WWAT.OB- solar power
Post by: saffeysite1 on June 20, 2005, 07:07:33 PM
June 20, 2005 - In the first six months of 2005, WorldWater & Power has a contract backlog of $12.6 million in sales scheduled for completion this year, representing a 110 percent increase over 2004,'' Mr. Kelly continues. ``This impressive and continuous growth in annual revenues and contract backlog reflects the increasing demand for our products and services in the energy marketplace and is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of our employees.

I am buying this one without hesitation.  Like the story and chart.  Huge volume today.

With the high price of Oil, people will look for alternative energy = solar power.

WorldWater & Power CEO to Issue Update on Company Milestones and Revenue Expectations for 2005
Monday June 20, 7:30 am ET

PENNINGTON, N.J., June 20, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The CEO of WorldWater and Power Corporation, Quentin T. Kelly, will issue an update of the Company's progress at its Annual Shareholder Meeting June 22. In the report to be presented at the meeting at Hopewell Valley Golf Club, he will outline the Company's course in establishing itself as a leader in the market for high horsepower solar systems and large solar net metering projects, declaring that ``WorldWater is on its way to its fourth consecutive year of strong revenue growth.''

  Year                      Revenue              Backlog
  ----                      --------             -------
  2001                      $241,000
  2002                      $644,000
  2003                      $1,280,000
  2004                      $5,837,000
  2005 (6 months)                                $12,600,000

``In the first six months of 2005, WorldWater & Power has a contract backlog of $12.6 million in sales scheduled for completion this year, representing a 110 percent increase over 2004,'' Mr. Kelly continues. ``This impressive and continuous growth in annual revenues and contract backlog reflects the increasing demand for our products and services in the energy marketplace and is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of our employees.''

Other highlights of the report:

Technology: WorldWater & Power has continued to expand and strengthen its intellectual property portfolio, and believes it has valuable proprietary technology in important niches of the alternative energy market. In the past four years, the Company has obtained patents and continuations-in-part for its newly developed electronics systems and filed for protections of its patents in the Philippines. The Company currently has six patents approved, pending, or in process.

Markets: Since 2002, when WorldWater launched its AquaMax(tm) product line representing the world's most powerful solar pumping systems, the Company has become a recognized energy provider to three high priority markets - agriculture/irrigation, food processing, and water utilities.

Agriculture/Irrigation - WorldWater & Power has installed America's two largest solar powered irrigation pumping systems - a 200 hp system at Seley Ranch and a 50 hp system at Locke Ranch, both in California. The system at Locke Ranch has been operating successfully for more than 2 1/2 years, and has kept the irrigation system pumping through electrical blackouts, and the customer has gone on record recommending the Company's products. The Seley system has been running successfully for seven months, and the owner has allowed the Company to use his ranch as a showcase to demonstrate the system to other potential customers, and has entered into a marketing representation relationship to expand into the dairy industry.

Food Processing - WorldWater & Power has installed the largest solar powered hydrocooling system on a farm in California, a 350 hp compressor pump used to cool potatoes during processing. The owner reports that the system has effectively eliminated electricity costs for his operation.

Water Utilities - WorldWater and Power is currently working on its first two solar installations for municipal water utilities, for the Idyllwild Water District in California and for the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (Atlantic City) wastewater treatment plant in New Jersey. In April, the Company was selected for special attention by the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA), the largest such association in the country, representing 447 California water utilities. WorldWater is one of only two companies chosen as Preferred Solar Partners recommended to ACWA's members. California represents a large market for WorldWater's products and services, and the Company is working aggressively to follow up on ACWA's endorsement and the many leads it has already generated.

General Solar Energy Market - In addition to niche markets that utilize the Company's expertise in high horsepower solar systems and water management, WorldWater has also established itself as a leader in large commercial solar installations providing electricity to the grid. Last year, WorldWater implemented the largest solar installation on a community college campus. The 1,132,200 KW systems at Cerro Coso Community College in California provides 60 percent of the college's energy and, according to the college, is saving more than $300,000 per year in electric bills. The Company will continue to pursue aggressively this rapidly growing market, and believes that its proprietary technologies can offer high horsepower capability and seamless switching technology for emergency backup systems that competitors cannot duplicate.

The Company also has several contracts for residential solar energy projects in New Jersey and in California, and last week announced the creation of a new Residential Sales Division to take advantage of the large residential rebate incentives in New Jersey and the Million Solar Roofs Bill now awaiting action by the California State Assembly.

Overseas Markets - WorldWater & Power believes that the market for their products and services in developing countries, which have large populations not tied to the electric grid, represents revenue potential as large as or larger than even the burgeoning domestic market. Because of the financial constraints in developing countries, this market has taken longer to develop. The Company has made important progress in several regions that it believes will in the long run be significant markets. WorldWater & Power has established strategic partnerships with large companies in China, India and Iraq, and is working on securing financing for water and electric infrastructure projects in Sri Lanka, Somalia, and the Philippines. While efforts in overseas markets will continue, largely through strategic partnerships, the Company has made the domestic market its clear priority and the majority of the Company's resources are allocated to the domestic U.S. market.

Worldwide Solar and Water Needs - The need for and cost of water worldwide are growing rapidly. Based on estimates by the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank, $8 billion annually is currently being spent to provide safe drinking water in developing countries, and the cost of bringing clean water to the two billion people who are without access to safe drinking water will be approximately $50 per person, or $100 billion total, over the next five years. Governments may be forced to re-allocate their funding resources to address what the World Bank says will be a major problem of the 21st century - water shortages.

The challenge of how to bring safe drinking water and electricity to rural households in need is one focus of WorldWater's proprietary solar technology. Solar energy supplies more energy in one hour than the world uses in one year, so it is an abundant resource well suited to the dispersed communities off the electrical grid, without the negative pollution attributes of fossil fuels. WorldWater & Power Corp. is well positioned to service this growing demand for sustainable potable water supplies using efficient, cost effective, non-polluting technology.

WorldWater & Power continues to believe that the solar energy market, particularly as it applies to large industrial electricity and water projects, presents an enormous market opportunity and that the Company is uniquely positioned to succeed in this market. The photovoltaic (PV) industry has more than doubled in the past few years, and by 2020, worldwide annual PV direct sales are estimated to be $27 billion and related sales are estimated to be more than $50 billion per year, as stated by the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory report, ``Photovoltaic: Energy for the New Millennium,'' January 1, 2000. Advances in PV technology and corresponding reduction in costs, in addition to enhanced state and federal rebate programs, continue to fuel the increasing demand for PV power. Great potential for PV technology also lies in developing countries, where two billion people lack electricity and sufficient clean water access. Applications range from remote pumping, irrigation, telecommunications and lighting to complete community power systems.

The task of bringing new technologies to large industrial markets is not an easy one. First, many bright people must persevere for years in order to develop these innovations to the point where they can be commercialized; WorldWater's team of researchers and engineers has done this. Second, it must be demonstrated to a skeptical market that the technology functions well and reliably, and that the economics are viable; WorldWater has done this as well by installing industry landmark systems and keeping customers satisfied. Only after accomplishing both of these can a company achieve broad market acceptance and concurrent rapid sales growth with increased margins. WorldWater & Power believes that, thanks to the hard work of dedicated staff and to the support of their shareholders, they are at this stage now.

WorldWater & Power Corp. Poised to Enter China Market, Signs Rep Agreement With Xinhua Financial Network
Wednesday June 22, 7:30 am ET
Financial Firm to Introduce Company's Solar Systems Into China's Water and Power Markets

PENNINGTON, N.J. - June 22, 2005 - WorldWater & Power Corporation (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), maker of high-horsepower solar energy systems, has been making preparations for introducing its solar powered systems to the expansive China market. In late May, WorldWater & Power exhibited at the Second China International Renewable Energy Equipment & Technology Exhibition and Conference and the China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC) in Beijing, making contact with several hundred visitors from Korea, Mongolia, and throughout China. The Company has now announced the signing of an Agreement with Xinhua Financial Network Limited (XFN), China's premier financial services and media company, to represent WorldWater & Power in the Chinese water and energy markets.
Xinhua will introduce WorldWater & Power to federal and provincial governmental and private sector buyers for the sale of the Company's AquaMax(tm) high volume water pumping systems and other solar products, it was announced jointly by Quentin T. Kelly, WorldWater's Chairman and CEO, and Gordon Lau, Xinhua's Chief Financial officer.
Douglas L. Washington, Vice President, Marketing and International Operations for WorldWater & Power, met with a number of Xinhua directors and with representatives of Xinhua PR Newswire to evaluate and establish strategy for WorldWater's entry into China.
China has 1.3 billion people and one of the largest and most rapidly growing economies in the world. The result is that 50 coal-fired plants are under construction and an estimated 600 are planned for the next 6 to 8 years in an attempt to meet energy requirements. In spite of these efforts, the country is plagued with blackouts.
As a result of deteriorating air quality, the National People's Congress Standing Committee passed a Renewable Energy Law, effective January 1, 2006, requiring that 10 percent of China's electricity must be generated from renewable energy sources by 2020. Several provinces are investigating the use of solar systems, and appear to be moving forward ahead of government regulations.

Think my ride on this might be ending soon. Looking at the chart, I see three consecutive days of red candles, MACD looks to confirm a sell signal over the zero plane (also a negative divergence), and stochastics suggest to me that it has reached its peak in the short-term.

Will sell Monday if it closes below $0.24.

Here's the chart:

TBunny-
I think this is a longer term play. The fundamentals here are outstanding and it's just a matter of time before they turn wildly profitable and that will grab investors attention big time. Because the stock is not at all volatile it's not much of a short termer and really shouldn't be looked at in that manner. Longer term, I believe it's a 5 bagger minimum. JMHO

On the short term, it's flat.  But when I run the ADX line. It still shows that the strength of the stock is still up.  AD - and AD + have crossed but to me that is a false sell signal.  I look for all three to fall below 20.  The stock has supp at .20.  A lot of reis. @.26.  Huge sell off last three trading days.  Price moved a couple of cents.   With a penny stock.  I don't worry about a couple of cents down.   These signs tell me to hold right now.

Saffey,
I'm holding on this also for the same reasons, question about ADX when you have time as i'm trying to learn more ...i also see the ad- crossover as false, probably from the tail on that candlestick 3 days ago...my understanding is that a rising adx indicates that the stock is moving out of a trading range and trending, but that a high adx doesn't necessarily indicate trend direction... that is, a high adx would indicate a strong trend which could be either a downtrend or uptrend, and the +/- crossovers can help us with direction....when you say the support is still there from the adx chart, is that because the adx is still relatively low (under 40), indicating the stock is holding steady in that trading range and not trending yet? appreciate any insight, and of course i only use this in conjunction with all other indicators.

happy trading.
al.

The key indicator here, although suttle, is the ADX line moving up from 20 to 30.  That tells me the stock is in a new trend - up.  You're analysis is right.  The stock has been in a channel in 20.  So support is strong there.   I sleep easy with these indicators present.

Saffey-
Couldn't agree more. ADX, STOCHS, and %R are all fine. An indicator I hardly ever look at is CMF since it's such a lagging indicator, but I did for the heck of it and was really surprised. Looks like this stock has been under accumulation for some time and support at .20 is VERY strong.  All the best.

I would say that the companies are alike.  Not exactly the same or else we wouldn't need WWAT.  But I think this kind of company is the future as fas as alt. energy products.  I would give it the same stock score as SPIR and DTSI.  We can see that we have massive volume flowing into the stock this week.  Largest in its history.  Volume before price they say.

Looking healthy today.

WorldWater & Power Corporation Completes $4.45 Million Financing and Recapitalization
Tuesday July 26, 7:30 am ET
Funding for Current Projects, Working Capital, Sales Growth

PENNINGTON, N.J., July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: WWAT - News), developer of high-horsepower solar energy systems, announces the completion on July 22 of a $4,000,000 financing agreement with the hedge fund CAMOFI Master LDC, an affiliate of Centrecourt Asset Management, LLC, a New York based asset management firm. In addition to the private placement, the recapitalization includes $450,000 in exercised warrants, and reduction of long-term debt by $900,000 through stock conversions.
The financing consists of $3 million of 10% senior secured convertible notes due 2008 and 4,259,260 shares of common stock for a purchase price of $1.02 million.

Upon the closing of this private placement, WorldWater received the purchase price for the shares of common stock and $1 million of the purchase price of the convertible notes. The $2 million balance of the purchase price of the convertible notes will be held in escrow by a commercial bank pending the satisfaction of the following conditions: $1,000,000 will be paid to WorldWater from the escrow when the Company's common stock is trading at or above $0.40 per share and trading volume exceeds 500,000 shares for a period of 10 consecutive days, and $1,000,000 will be paid upon the execution of new contracts for WorldWater's products and services in the aggregate amount of $5,000,000. The convertible notes bear interest at the annual rate of 10%, payable monthly in arrears, and are due and payable July 21, 2008. The notes are convertible into WorldWater common stock at a price of $0.18 per share.

The proceeds of this financing and recapitalization strengthen the Company's balance sheet and will help fund the Company's current project implementations, anticipated sales growth, working capital and intellectual property development.

Of the $450,000 raised through the exercise of warrants held by current Company shareholders, $400,000 has been used to reduce its outstanding line of credit from $1 million to $0.6 million. The conversion to common stock of $900,000 of outstanding convertible debt reduced the Company's long-term debt.

"We are delighted to be working with CAMOFI Master LDC. Their team of seasoned Wall Street and international investment veterans will help us as we grow in the future," said Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO of WorldWater & Power Corp. "In addition to strengthening our working capital and operations base, these funds will enable us to expedite the nine current projects in our backlog."

Title: WWAT
Post by: Ramsburg on August 02, 2005, 07:29:25 AM
Hello Everyone!

This will be my first «official» pick ;)

WorldWater Corporation  (WWAT) is a solar engineering and water management company. The Company designs, develops, and markets proprietary technology with water and power applications.

WWAT is having a very powerful technical behaviour in the last weeks... Volume has increased a lot, a first primary breakout in late July caught our attention, now after some accumulation, and we have a «classic» G-Pattern on the way.
Friday's session showed another volume increase, breaking out the G-Spot price level. The candle has a big spike, but $0.48 was just 1 minute candle with no technical relevance, which means that we just watched a closing value near the actual real tradable high of the day.

This pattern shows that «real» money is entering the stock, and this could be only the beginning of a bigger movement... Also take a look at recent good news (http://finance.yahoo.com/q/h?s=WWAT.OB) from WWAT

It's very difficult to find such a good looking chart... So WWAT is one of our 3 Penny Candidates for today...
Title: WWAT - Update
Post by: Ramsburg on August 02, 2005, 07:55:15 AM
Yesterday, WWAT had a nice session, again with increasing volume and a nice advance.

For technical purposes only, the $0.33 price level should be the main downside reference (breakout zone of the G-Spot), and we can start using an ascending support line (yellow on the chart) has the short term leading line.

I consider this move as the second move, and it's still on development, the first move was made on the middle of July, which created conditions to break the overall pattern of WWAT. Now, this new move has the real potential of boosting WWAT to new price levels... I'll give some time, and room for that to happen, taking in consideration the major downside references. ;)

Some news out today: Press Release (http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/050802/83132.html)

Good Morning,

There's no special update for WWAT today... The stock has behaved on a nice way, holding up these levels and closing on the high of the day. Volume went down a bit, but with no special technical effect.

So we maintain the plan ;)

FWIW-
The deal WWAT did on 7/27 with CAMOFI ldc, a private hedge fund is quite interesting. WWAT get $2.45 million now and another $1million when stock trades above .40 with 500,000 avg. daily volume for 10 consecutive days. Also, they get $1million when they close $5 million worth of new deals. Talk about incentives! All the best.

Yesterday WWAT had another correction day with low volume. Probably it's trying to reach the area of the ascending support line, like it did during July.

Situation is under control, let's wait and see how this move is going to develop.
I'm thinking to use the yellow line (ascending support) as a stop level on close.

Best regards,

Friday was another correction, leading WWAT shares to the ascending short term support. Just a little below there's the $0.33 support level which was the trigger of the last upside movement.

I'm not enjoying very much the recent down move, but I'm expecting this zone to work as a support, if not, I'll have to drop this position and take a loss.

With general market correction/reversal [dont know which is that now, may be ramsburg or david can tell ya better], its prudent to wait on the sidelines.

do you think this is normal correction?  you would think there be incentives for the co to see its stock price at 0.40 and to get $5 million in contracts. or like ramsburg says, it it hits 0.33 then maybe think of exiting?

Title: WWAT - Update
Post by: Ramsburg on August 09, 2005, 08:53:49 AM

WWAT had another red candle yesterday, and already tested the $0.33 support zone... I'll be forced to abandon this position if we watch a break of that price level.

Sold @ 0.325

Time to look at WWAT again?

Today I bought some at 0.3625

WorldWater & Power Corp. engages in the design, development, and marketing of technology relating to water needs and solar power applications, including solar power projects and international water management consulting. The company offers AquaMax system, an electronic board that reads and translates the output of solar electric direct current from solar panels, converting the flow into alternate current (AC) for delivery to water pumps in deep wells, rivers, or 3-phase AC motors. Its AquaMax hybrid solar irrigation pumps operate on solar alone, or in combination with the electric grid or diesel generators. The company offers various water resource services through its solar powered pumping systems for applications in irrigation, refrigeration, and water utility pumping systems. The AquaMeter water meter enables consumers to buy water with a prepaid electronic smart card. Its SolPower photovoltaic power systems are designed for off-grid homes, schools, health clinics, and village community centers. The systems produce electricity for lighting, television, radio, computers, and various other uses. The company also offers SolBrite, a solar charged portable lantern, as well as SolLite, a solar light fixture. The company was formerly known as Worldwater Corp. and changed its name to WorldWater & Power Corp. in September 2004. WorldWater & Power Corp. is headquartered in Pennington, New Jersey.

2. If you check my last posting under this link, the analyst has given 0.5$ as price target

This stock is great, I'm ashamed I didn't buy yesterday, I had it on my 3 Pennies short list but took too much time having lunch and lost the opportunity  :-[

What about now, why not buy it now? Because it is too high? Because it's not worth it now? Because it's Friday? Because I should have bought it yesterday or even better, a few days ago like cumulina and others did (congrats  ;D), and now I should just forget about it?

These are all sucker motives not to buy. It's hard not to be a sucker trading stocks, but I don't want to be one ... so I have to buy this stock, I was silly yesterday not buying it, I have to correct my mistake and buy !

WWAT.OB made a wonderful breakout yesterday to a new 52 week high with strong and growing volume. $0.48 was a resistance, now it will act as support on a pullback.

So, wait for a pullback or buy it at first chance? I will buy at first chance, $1,000 for the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio.

Thank you Elohim, I'll check CDE if it passes through my technical filters. You need to get used to a lot of volatility when you trade penny stocks, and I mean A LOT.

Considering WWAT, what an amazing market action on Friday if you ask me ... opened higher with a gap up, traded even higher after the open and then fell back, with heavy selling, to close the gap opened at the open. But, interestingly enough, supply was met by even greater demand and the stock crawled back up to close near the high of the day, rising 24% with record volume.

I think there's no need to say I will continue holding WWAT, the only way is up !

WorldWater & Power Trades 4X Average Volume After Research Note

Tuesday , September 13, 2005 00:27 ET

Sep 13, 2005 (financialwire.net via COMTEX) --September, 13, 2005 (FinancialWire) WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTCBB: WWAT) traded 4,296,210 shares, almost four times its average volume of 1,273,350, closing at $0.58, a 13.43% decline after having set a new 52-week high of $0.69 in the previouis sessions.

The trading occurred after a new research note was issued on by Investrend Research Affiliate Beacon Equity Research analyst Shailesh Dhuri. In the report, Mr. Dhuri outlined some of the reasons for the stock's recent appreciation.

The full report is available at http://www.beaconequityresearch.com and http://www.investrendresearch.com

In the report Mr. Dhuri writes, "WorldWater Corporation is an international solar engineering and water management company. It designs, develops and markets technology relating to solar energy and water engineering. It is the world's sole provider of cutting edge, patented, high-volume solar powered water pumping technology with diverse commercial applications, capable of driving commercial motors of up to 650 horsepower.

The company has made some encouraging in the past few months. These announcements, coupled with strong macro environment for alternative energy companies has helped the stock price of the Company cross our price target of $0.62 in last few days ' up more than 150% since our last report on the firm in May.

WorldWater recently announced a $4 million funding deal with a leading hedge fund. This financing has achieved two things for the Company. First, when completed it will substantially narrow or even eliminate the negative net-worth of the Company. Second, it shows that professional money managers are willing to back this Company, given strong macro fundamentals of alternative energy companies, and also the strong order book at WorldWater.

WorldWater has secured a recapitalization of its operations, which will help the Company grow. In addition, we view the entry into Chinese market favorably."

A Place in the Sun

By ERIC J. SAVITZ

SUNSHINE IS FREE. That simple fact is what gives the solar-power business so
much allure. You don't have to extract it from the ground, it's not subject to
embargos, it's nonpolluting and if the supply ever ran out, we'd have a bigger
problem than high gasoline prices. On the surface, at least, it certainly seems
like an obvious way to address some of the economy's ongoing energy problems.

It's also well understood: America has been tinkering with solar power for
decades. In a symbolic act during the 1979 energy crisis, Jimmy Carter
installed solar panels on the roof of the White House. (He also urged us to
wear more sweaters.) But as the crisis faded, so did interest in solar. After
Ronald Reagan and his brown suits moved into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., the White
House solar panels were removed -- and solar power resumed its previous
position as a technology considered more suitable for calculators and pool
heaters than powering the grid.

But with talk growing of a new energy crisis, thanks to record prices for crude
oil and gasoline, solar companies have been attracting renewed attention.
Michael Rogol, an analyst with CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets who tracks the global
solar market, says the stocks in the sector are up about 150% over the past 12
months. Wall Street is ramping up to slake the thirst for solar stocks with
more supply: SunPower, a subsidiary of chip-maker Cypress Semiconductor, has
filed to come public, as has Q-Cells, a large, fast-growing German solar-cell
company that Rogol calls "the Netscape of the solar sector." Another large
player, Norway's Renewable Energy Corp., or REC, has also said it plans an IPO.

Encouraged by this new enthusiasm for the sector in the public markets, venture
capitalists have been funding a steadily increasing number of solar-related
start- ups, sinking more than $100 million into new solar companies in the
first half of 2005. (See table: The Next Generation.) The recently passed
energy bill provides some modest incentives for solar power, and many states
have installed solar-friendly tax incentives of their own.

While solar represents a tiny percentage of global power generation, it is
growing rapidly. Worldwide, solar power production this year should reach 1.5
gigawatts, double the 2003 level. By 2010, according to CLSA, the total should
quadruple to six gigawatts. Industrywide revenue, the firm predicts, will grow
from $11 billion this year to $36 billion in 2010.

Now that's some nice, Google-style growth. But investing in the sector isn't
easy. Many of the biggest producers of solar cells are actually divisions of
much larger companies -- BP, Sharp, Shell, General Electric -- that you'd
hardly consider pure plays. And most of the more focused solar companies, with
a few exceptions, are still private or trade outside the U.S.

Meanwhile, just as demand seems poised to take off, the solar industry finds
itself grappling with a shortage of polysilicon, the raw material used to
create both silicon cells and semiconductors. At least for the next few years,
the industry's growth rate will be muffled not by any shortage of demand, but
rather by insufficient supply. In all, finding good investments will require
ingenuity.

The basic idea of solar power is simple. Energy from the sun strikes a silicon
panel, releasing electrons and creating electricity. Those panels are connected
together in modules, which can provide power standing alone or hooked into the
electrical grid. One of the standard, but magical, pitches made by solar
equipment providers is the image of your electricity meter running backwards:
When the sun is shining and demand for power is high, you can be selling power
back to the grid, while others buy it.
[Sun]
The Bottom Line: Though solar stocks have surged over the past year or so, some
could rise further. Some analysts think MEMC, the largest-capitalization play
on solar, could jump another 50%.

What's not so simple is the economics of solar power. For starters, while the
sun's energy is abundant, it isn't available 24/7. (You may be familiar with a
fascinating natural phenomenon known as "night," and another frequent but less
predictable factor called "clouds.") Ergo, solar power is more practical in
some places than others. Also, silicon panels are rather inefficient: Most of
the potential energy in sunshine is lost. So to create meaningful amounts of
electricity from solar panels, you need lots of them.

The good news is that as the industry has grown, the retail cost of solar
energy has dropped an average of 6%-7% a year for the past 15 years, says Rhone
Resch, director of the Solar Energy Industries Association, a trade group.
Within 10 years, Resch says, solar should reach parity with the average retail
electricity price.

"This is not your grandpa's solar," says Ron Pernick, the principal of Clean
Edge, a Portland, Ore.-based research firm. He figures the costs of production
have been dropping about 18% for every doubling of output -- and output is
doubling every two or three years. Still, the industry isn't at parity yet.
Resch says solar power, at 22-23 cents per kilowatt, costs about twice as much
as the average retail price of electricity in the U.S.

Keep in mind, too, that installing a solar system requires a large upfront
capital investment that may require some creative financing. Putting a solar
system on your roof with enough cells to run your house could set you back
$25,000-$30,000. You do get to lock in costs, though: Resch likens it to buying
a car and paying for 25 or 30 years of gasoline upfront.

One small company, Sun Edison, has set up an intriguing scheme where it places
solar systems on the flat roof of a supermarket or big-box retailer, then sells
the power back to them. The equipment itself is owned by an investor -- in each
of the four installations they've completed, it's Goldman Sachs -- which
benefits from tax incentive programs. Sun Edison's payoff comes years from now
as it gradually buys back the equity and associated income in the equipment.

Fortunately for the solar-power industry, a number of state and national
governments have decided that there is a public good in developing alternatives
to fossil-fuel based energy production, and have installed lucrative subsidy
programs designed to overcome the cost differential.

The most substantial incentives have been offered by Japan and Germany. While
neither country is among the world's sunnier climes, both have become the
global leaders in solar power. So it should be no surprise that many of the
more successful publicly held solar companies are traded in Frankfurt or Tokyo,
not New York. (See table: Sunny Prospects)

For domestic solar advocates, that situation is a source of no little
frustration. "Our resources are orders of magnitude better," sighs the trade
group's Resch. "But Germany has created the best incentives in the world."
Germany's policy, designed to reduce the country's reliance on fossil fuels,
provides a fixed payout of about 54 cents per kilowatt hour for as much power
as you can produce.

Rick Feldt, CEO of Evergreen Solar, a Marlboro, Mass., solar-cell company,
complains that the incentives in the recently passed federal energy bill
provides little help. He notes that the bill offers only two years of tax
credits, with no assurances after that -- not enough to get manufacturers to
commit investment capital in the business.

In the U.S., the industry suffered a blow recently from the demise of
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's so-called Million Solar Roofs
initiative, which would have provided substantial incentives in the nation's
largest state for both residential and commercial buildings. Though the measure
passed easily in the state Senate, it fizzled after the governor threatened a
veto over amendments to the bill in the state Assembly that would have required
solar-installation work to be handled by licensed electricians at the
prevailing union wage rate. The governor lately has talked about stepping
around the legislature via the adoption of similar incentives through the
state's Public Utility Commission.

WHILE THE STATUS OF THE CALIFORNIA MEASURE is important, the talk of the solar
industry is the ongoing shortage of polysilicon, the raw stuff used to
manufacture photovoltaic cells. For many years, the only real use for that
particular material was to make silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry;
the solar industry's needs were minimal. But not anymore.

Thanks in no small measure to the incentive programs in Germany and Japan,
solar-cell demand has expanded 40% or more for several years running, versus
20%-25% in the past. The result is that by 2006 almost half of the world's
polysilicon supply will be soaked up by the solar-cell makers. Richard
Winegarner, proprietor of consulting firm Sage Concepts, says the market is
about 10% short this year, with the solar-cell industry, and not chip makers,
absorbing most of the resultant pain.

"I can't find a data point anywhere that shows anything other than a very real
shortage of polysilicon that is going to get worse over the next two or three
years," says Paul Leming, an analyst with Princeton Tech Research. "It would
take a solar-panel market collapse to bring any slack capacity to the
polysilicon business any- time soon."

Not surprisingly, polysilicon prices have soared: Winegarner says contract
pricing has moved from about $32 a kilogram to $45 since 2003. Spot pricing,
depending on whom you ask, is running $60-$80 a kilogram, though Winegarner
notes that there is "essentially no volume" in the spot market. "The industry
has already wrung out every nook and cranny of inventory and scrap," he says.

Tables: Sunny Prospects and The Next Generation

The world's polysilicon makers are working frantically to add capacity, but
supply is unlikely to catch up for a while. Optimists think the shortage could
be cured by 2007. Neil Gayle, coordinator of the Critical Materials Council of
Sematech, a chip-industry consortium, thinks there could be shortages though
2009.

The bottom line is that there won't be enough solar cells to meet demand for at
least the next several years, potentially triggering a supply crisis for some
smaller players that lack contractual supply arrangements with polysilicon
producers.

The chip industry has expressed its own concerns about the potential for the
shortage to slow the electronics business. But this is a lot bigger problem for
solar-cell companies than for the chip industry: While silicon represents less
than 1% of the cost of semiconductor products, they account for more than 30%
of the raw-material costs for solar cells. A doubling of silicon pricing
wouldn't mean much for chip makers, but it would be a big problem for the solar
business, which must hold down costs to compete with conventional power.

The obvious play on the polysilicon shortage is MEMC Electronic Materials
(ticker: WFR), a St. Peters, Mo., company that is one of the world's largest
producers of silicon wafers. Unlike some of its rivals, MEMC produces most of
its own silicon feedstock, and in fact sells some excess supply back into the
market. The result is that MEMC benefits from soaring wafer pricing without
suffering the associated increase in raw-material pricing. MEMC shares have
doubled over the past year, to a recent $19.79, boosting the company's market
capitalization to about $4 billion. That makes MEMC the largest-cap play on
solar growth.

And there may still be some juice left in MEMC shares. Leming of Princeton Tech
Research thinks the stock could move up another 50%, and says he can "sketch a
scenario where it can double or triple from here," noting that the company
trades for only about 12 times expected 2006 earnings of $1.56 a share. Profits
at that level would be up 39% from an expected $1.12 a share this year. And
this, by the way, is for a company that does not yet do much direct business
with the solar industry. Leming thinks MEMC could eventually cut a deal with
solar-panel makers to provide dedicated wafer supplies. If so, Lemming says,
the growth could lift the stock to $50.

MEMC ranks fourth in the world in polysilicon capacity, behind Hemlock
Semiconductor, which is partially owned by Dow Corning. Third on the list is
the other potential wafer investment, Japan-based Tokuyama. Also in the top
five are Wacker Chemie, a privately held German chemical conglomerate, and
Advanced Silicon Materials, which was recently sold by Japan's Komatsu
Electronic Metals to Renewable Energy Corp., the Norwegian solar-panel maker.
The purchase of Advanced Silicon by REC, which as noted is planning an IPO,
assures the company of sufficient silicon supplies.

Then there's SunPower, the Cypress subsidiary now in registration to come
public. It is losing gobs of money -- for the first half of this year, it lost
$13.6 million on revenues of $27.3 million. But the company is attracting
considerable interest for its highly efficient solar cells: The company claims
in its SEC filings that it generates up to 50% more power per unit of area than
conventional cells. In an industry where driving costs lower is a key to
long-term success, SunPower should attract eager buyers.

The only current domestic pure-play solar option is Evergreen Solar (ESLR) of
Marlboro, Mass. -- and it has some similar attractions. Evergreen shares have
increased sixfold over the past 18 months. The company uses a novel process for
generating solar cells that it claims uses 35% less silicon than conventional
manufacturing processes. That should give Evergreen an edge in the race to
reduce costs. And CEO Rick Feldt says the company has a pilot project that
would cut the silicon used per wafer by another 50%.

WHILE CERTAINLY THE STREET IS ENAMORED of Evergreen's technology, analysts are
equally enthused about its joint venture with Germany's Q-Cells. The two
companies are building a new solar-cell manufacturing plant near Q-Cells'
headquarters in Thalheim, in eastern Germany. The plant will dramatically
increase Evergreen's capacity, adding 30 megawatts of cell production to the 15
megawatts it can produce at its own factory in Massachusetts. Feldt thinks the
German plant will be far more efficient than the company's domestic plant,
perhaps generating $100 million a year in revenue with gross margins of
30%-35%. Assuming the plant comes on stream as expected, Feldt says, the
company should turn profitable on a run-rate basis sometime in 2006.

Moreover, Feldt says that if the German venture is successful, the partners
would increase their production to as much as 120 megawatts. And if that
happens, he says, the joint venture could add additional capacity in other
locations. If that all plays out, says J. Michael Horwitz, an analyst at
Pacific Growth Equities, "it could be one of the better stocks in 2006." And if
the German project has problems? Then so will the stock.

CLSA's Michael Rogol, a big Evergreen fan, in a report earlier this year,
listed a total of 15 solar stocks to buy. Many are outside the U.S.: Kyocera,
Sharp and Sekisui Chemical of Japan; Thailand-based Solartron; Motech of
Taiwan; Carmanah and ATS in Canada; and Germany's Conergy and SolarWorld.

The global range is a reflection of the fact that, unlike oil or gas or coal,
producing energy from the sun is about creative engineering and -- at least for
the moment -- bold government policy, not geographic advantage. No one is going
to discover a new source of sunlight, but it's possible to figure out better
ways to use it. Anyone can get in the game. Even America.

Thanks for posting the Barron's article on WWAT.OB shaka88  :)

We always need to keep in mind that these are OTCBB stocks, where the market maker is almost free to do what he wants with the stock price over the short term, so I really have to be careful identifying important levels.

With this 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio experience I'm finding that technical analysis is much less effective when trading penny stocks than regular stocks. There are a lot more false technical signals and the information is very imperfect, so a lot of times the price doesn't reflect the perception of market participants at a given time.

I will write a more profound article on this later.

For example, if WWAT were to be a regular stock I would say that I didn't want to see a break on close of the $0.48 level. But considering the market maker actions the stock could close below that level and that would probably mean nothing.

So I need to go with this a lot more on fundamentals than technicals. I will judge the fundamentals on WWAT on the next update, in the meantime I will hold the stock.

Someone had posted this site on another thread here..it is a site that lists stocks on the short list.
Just happened to notice that wwat was on it..since last couple of days.

For what it is worth,  I thought I would just point it out.
Does anyone ever use this site? Is it reputable?

So I need to go with this a lot more on fundamentals than technicals.

I personally LOVE the penny stock investments based on fundamentals that I've learned about on this site. HYRF, BRVO, EYII, etc. I would not mind at all seeing a lot more of these on this section of the site. It's so much fun and rewarding to invest in these companies from the bottom, while focusing more on technicals for regular stocks.

That's what I'm finding too, OTCBB stocks need much more fundamental study than Nasdaq or NYSE stocks, because many times the stock price doesn't reflect the fundamentals due to inefficiencies (look at TYRIA, HYRF, EYII, BRVO and more). But even here the market always knows better and sometimes the information provided by OTCBB listed companies is false or misleading, one needs to be very careful.

Considering WWAT.OB, I was right on my suspicion that the market maker would take this stock below $0.48 to wipe out some folks too much concerned with the intraday. The stock then rebounded nicely from that support level to close near the highs of the session.

Also we've had these news:

WorldWater & Power Corporation Signs $1.4 Million in Solar Energy Contracts (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/050920/nytu230.html?.v=6)

(I'm starting to wonder if I should heat my swimming pool with solar energy instead of oil like it is now done - it is a public swimming pool for swimming classes and hydroginastic - today I'm very happy, we've had a new contract to teach 2 year old kids how to swim - just 500 € a month, though  ;D)

There is absolutely no doubt I will continue holding WWAT.OB, this is a long term holding of the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio.

WorldWater & Power Corp. Signs Solar Energy Contracts Totaling $1.4 Million
Wednesday, September 21, 2005 02:01 ET

Sep 21, 2005 (financialwire.net via COMTEX) --September 21, 2005 (FinancialWire) WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTCBB: WWAT) has signed contracts totaling $1.4 million to build and install solar electric power systems for two car washes in the Los Angeles area. Car washes represent a new industry for the use of solar technology for WorldWater. The photovoltaic (PV) systems are expected to substantially reduce electrical usage costs for the two facilities.

The contracts with the car wash chain are conditional upon third-party financing. Construction is to begin as soon as financing is realized and will be managed by Quantum Energy Group, the California engineering, construction and project management firm acquired by WorldWater & Power Corp. earlier this month. Quantum Energy Group will supervise the installation of the solar power systems, as well as the construction of canopies to hold the PV panels.

"The car washes on which the WorldWater & Power solar energy systems will be installed average between 5,200 and 5,300 car washes per month. Electricity costs for each of the car washes typically run between $3,000 and $4,000 per month, depending on the site and the month of the year," stated Quentin T. Kelly, CEO of WorldWater. "In addition to realizing energy cost savings, the owners will obtain federal and state tax credits (ITCs) and accelerated depreciation. The current Federal ITC of 10% increases to 30% January 1, 2006."

WorldWater & Power Corp. anticipates the rebates from Southern California Gas Company for the solar installations will be realized during the fourth quarter of 2005 and the first quarter of 2006.

Sessions on Thursday and Friday brought nothing new to WWAT, but maybe today with these lovely news we'll see some action on the stock.

WWAT.OB touched the $0.48 support again and bounced out of it, creating a dragonfly doji which is a bullish reversal candlestick pattern. Volume picked up a bit, we'll see what the future holds, I will continue holding this penny stock on the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio.

Ouch, that wasn't pretty, the stock broke $0.48 on close. It can go down further, still didn't hit the 50% Fibonacci retracement level, which stands at $0.44. My plan on this is to hold for as long as it closes above the ascending trendline, which for tomorrow will be sitting at $0.40.
Title: Re: WWAT – What about Water On Fire ?

WWAT.OB went down to touch the 50% Fibonacci retracement level and then it bounced nicely. I will continue holding this penny stock for as long as it closes above the ascending trendline which for today will be standing at $0.40.
Title: Re: WWAT – What about Water On Fire ?

Nothing new on WWAT.OB, extremely low volume on today's session and no news. I will continue holding this penny stock for as long as it closes above the ascending trendline which for today will be standing at $0.41 (though this trendline isn't much useful, I'll design a better indicator for WWAT.OB on the next update).
Title: Re: WWAT – What about Water On Fire ?
Post by: David Randolph on October 04, 2005, 06:26:12 PM
WWAT.OB continues to consolidate above the 50% retracement level.

I said I would design a better indicator to work as a safety net on this penny holding, so I bring up the 150 day TEMA indicator (triple exponential moving average), which for tomorrow will be standing at $0.45.

I don't want to see WWAT.OB setting up to close below this indicator (red line on the chart), or I'll take a small loss (small in penny stock terms).
Title: Re: WWAT – What about Water On Fire ?
Post by: David Randolph on October 06, 2005, 10:09:30 AM
I didn't like the news that came after the close, with the company registering 17,400,000 new shares, which were bought at prices ranging $0.17 to $0.30. These stocks will be sold in the open market by those who bought them at lower prices than the current market price.

I sold my shares at $0.47 just now, if the stock closes below $0.45 it will give a clear technical signal to sell.

Techicaly we can expect an another wave (eliott wave) all indicators seems to show that :

RSI first wave < RSI second wave
MACD first wave < MACD second wave
volume first wave < volume second wave
RSI breakout and good retracement (0.795 > 68.1 ratio fibonacci)

But be careful so i recommend this strategy if you are interesting in this stock :

BUY at 0.43
TARGET PRICE : 0.65
STOP LOSS : 0.375
RATIO : 51.1/16 = 3.19 a good ratio because > 3...

WorldWater & Power Corp. CEO Issues Operational Update
Tuesday November 29, 7:30 am ET
Contract Backlog Increases to $23 Million

PENNINGTON, N.J., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO of WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: WWAT - News), today released an operational update detailing fundamental progress that has been made by WorldWater & Power over the past several months. In his statement, Mr. Kelly declared:
"I am eager to share with you our progress since my last operational update issued on June 20, 2005. In the first six months of 2005, WorldWater & Power's contract backlog was $12.6 million in sales. As a result of increasing demand for our products and services, our current contract backlog has increased to $23 million. We anticipate adding to our current backlog through the remainder of 2005 and look forward to strong demand for our product and services in 2006 and beyond.

"I would like to take this time to discuss significant highlights over the last several months:

"Status of Projects: As of June 20, WorldWater & Power signed contracts consisting of seven projects totaling $12.6 million. The following summarizes the status of each project:

-- $1,800,000 for a California Tree Farm. Pre-engineering has been
completed.  Groundbreaking is scheduled for the fourth quarter 2005.

-- $3.25 million joint venture with Conti Corp. for Atlantic County
Utilities Authority (ACUA). The project is scheduled for partial
completion in the fourth quarter.  Final construction should be
completed in the first quarter of 2006.

-- $7.8 million solar installation for Farm ACW of Fallbrook, California.
Ground breaking is scheduled for the fourth quarter 2005.

-- $309,000 for the Idyllwild Water District (IWD) in Idyllwild,
California.  The project is scheduled to be completed in the fourth
       quarter.

-- Three residential projects totaling $400,000.  All three projects are
scheduled to break ground in the fourth quarter.

"Quantum Energy Group acquisition: The Company realizes that with strong growth comes the need for additional infrastructure. Quantum Energy Group, an energy, construction, and project management company acquired by WorldWater & Power in September this year, greatly enhances our ability to efficiently manage our growing customer base. Quantum brings extensive experience in engineering, design and construction of more than 400 solar projects. With this addition to our team, WorldWater expects to make significant advances in bringing projects to completion on a more timely basis and within budget, resulting in an overall improvement to our gross margins. The acquisition of Quantum Energy was our main focus in the third quarter to better position the Company to handle the emerging implementation volume. The integration of the two companies has been very smooth and we are already realizing the benefits.

"Sales & Marketing - Domestic: We have made significant progress in strengthening our sales team, both on the West and East Coasts, for commercial, industrial and residential business opportunities. I am excited by the significant increase of business activity as referenced above, and I believe that with our current backlog we are now well positioned to expand and drill deeper into these markets.

"Sales & Marketing - International:

Sri Lanka: WorldWater & Power received a U.S. Trade & Development Agency (USTDA) grant in the amount of $360,000 to support a pilot project for water supply in Sri Lanka. The project is designed to assess solar technology methods to provide safe, sustainable water supplies to people in six villages near the tsunami-ravaged southern coast of Sri Lanka. We currently have a team in Sri Lanka working the first stage of the assessment, and we are actively seeking the award of the full contract of $1.1 million in 2006. In addition, we are currently pursuing other projects there and are optimistic that our presence in Sri Lanka will result in additional business opportunities for the Company in the region. I believe the market for our products and services in developing countries, which have huge populations not tied to the electric grid, represents large future revenue and earnings.

"China: On June 21st we signed a representative agreement with Xinhua Financial Network to represent WorldWater in the Chinese water and energy markets. We see China as an important and viable future market for our proprietary solar power and water engineering.

"Financing & Recapitalization: On July 26th we announced the completion of a $4,000,000 financing with CAMOFI Master LDC, plus $450,000 received through the exercise of warrants. Through stock conversions, we reduced our long-term debt by $900,000 and eliminated a near-term note - from $1,000,000 to zero. We have received $3,000,000 from the CAMOFI transaction and expect shortly to receive the remaining $1,000,000.

"Mobile MaxPure(TM): This specially designed portable solar power and water purification unit was sent to Waveland, Mississippi to provide clean water for hurricane victims.

"E.I. DuPont de Nemours: Received first solar project for DuPont. WorldWater & Power Corp. will provide solar energy for the photovoltaic solutions technology laboratory in Wilmington, Delaware. The system will serve as a Photovoltaic Demonstration Unit for DuPont. General Electric Solar, a division of General Electric, will be the supplier of the photovoltaic panels.

"Revenue Guidance: The majority of revenue we had anticipated to be recognized in the fourth quarter will be pushed into 2006. There were several reasons for the bottleneck that we experienced. For example, Farm ACW, our largest contract to date ($7,800,000) experienced a very long permitting and approval period from both state and local authorities for securing grid interconnections. Both Idyllwild (IWD) and the ACUA installations, where whole new solar engineering methods needed to be introduced, experienced additional engineering designs. Both projects are now in the completion stage and will serve as centerpieces for the Company for the utility markets on both the West and East Coast. These issues have been significantly improved with the acquisition of Quantum Energy along with the reorganization of our engineering and project management procedures.

"Let me conclude by saying that WorldWater & Power has made great strides this year. We are experiencing the momentum of growing demand for our products and services, with a critical mass aiding in the focus on gross margins of profit. We are gaining international recognition in solar engineering and design by completing a number of industry landmark installations. We look forward to the future with confidence and great anticipation."

I've been looking at alternative power companies all morning. One would think that Bush's State of the Union yesterday would have investors looking at these companies again.

La-onda, you seem to have done a lot of research in these companies and how they develop. Do you believe Bush's speech to be of influence?

The Monday news, nor the speech seem to have been of influence on WWAT  ???.

Look forward to your respons.

Hi Amarens,
should be positive for the complete industry:

Alternate-Energy Succumbs to Profit-Taking
Wednesday February 1, 2:20 pm ET
Alternative Energy Stocks Tumble As Traders Take Profits After Run-Up to President Bush's Speech

NEW YORK (AP) -- Traders cashed out of alternative energy stocks on Wednesday -- a day after shares surged in expectation that President Bush would outline a heavy-spending plan in his State of the Union address.

Bush gave investors what they wanted, promising a 22 percent increase in research funding for cleaner energies.
In his address Tuesday night, Bush introduced an "Advanced Energy Initiative." The program calls for $289 million in additional financing for hydrogen fuel, $281 million for clean coal technologies, $150 million for cellulose-based ethanol and $148 million for solar energy in the fiscal 2007 budget. The plan also earmarks a smaller amount for wind energy research and advanced automotive batteries.
"It's a little bit of 'buy on the rumor, sell on the news,'" said John Quealy, an analyst with investment bank Canaccord Adams. "Trading-oriented folks are taking profits."
Although Quealy advocates investors have some exposure to alternative energy stocks based on the industry's growth prospects, he cautions against the risks. Many of the companies are young and unprofitable with stocks that tend toward volatility, he said.
A nascent company called Pacific Ethanol Inc. is somewhat emblematic of the sector.
Shares of Pacific Ethanol slid $2.44, or 12.9 percent, to $16.39 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq, a day after the stock climbed to a 52-week high of $19.14. Trading volume surged to 3.3 million versus a daily average of about 337,000.
Pacific Ethanol doesn't produce ethanol yet, however the company has plans to construct five corn-based ethanol production plants by 2008. Chief Executive Neil Koehler said he expects the company's ethanol business to turn its first profit in the fourth quarter of 2006, when the first plant is scheduled to start operations.

When the five plants are running, Pacific Ethanol will have the capacity to churn out 200 million gallons of ethanol per year. The market currently produces some 4 billion gallons annually.
"The ethanol business is a very profitable business today, and we expect to see good margins with the initiation of our ethanol production," Koehler said.
Pacific Ethanol shares are up 51.5 percent since Jan. 1.
Elsewhere, Archer Daniels Midland Co., an oilseeds processor that has been ramping up its ethanol production, saw its shares shed $1.09, or 3.5 percent, to $30.41. The stock reached a fresh 52-week peak of $32.22 on Tuesday.
The proposed government investment doesn't amount to much when scaled against the billions the government spends elsewhere. However, relative to what has been spent in the past, the funding is promising, Quealy said.
While $150 million is a drop in bucket for the government, "$150M focused specifically on solar materials is quite large," he said. "There was a little bit of investor anticipation and letdown in terms of magnitude of dollars. But take a step back, and it still is very positive."

In the solar sector, shares of Evergreen Solar Inc. dropped 43 cents, or 2.8 percent, to $15.00; shares of Sunpower Corp. fell 35 cents to $39.65 and shares of Energy Conversion Devices Inc. slipped 36 cents to $50 on the Nasdaq. All three stocks had climbed sharply over the past few days, with Evergreen and Sunpower hitting 52-week highs on Tuesday.

In the hydrogen fuel cell sector, shares Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. fell 29 cents, or 5.8 percent, to $4.71 on the Nasdaq.

WWAT wasn´t mentioned, should also participate IMHO

WWAT caught my eyes being in the top traded (by dollar amount) OTCBB for today.
I really like the company itself.  I truly believe solar power has a huge potential and a great futur.

The stock has been up 67% in 2 weeks. Pretty good!

Now all the indicators are way up. I am expecting a retracement between 0.40 and 0.43 (respectively 61.8% and 50%).

On the Fundamentals, the numbers are not impressive, and I am still waiting for the annual report to come out (March 31 last year).
And even though they still post a net loss, revenues were up 98% in 2003 and 356% in 2004. And they do have a positive cash (very important in my book!)

WWAT - WorldWater & Power Corp. Signs $295,000 Contract to Provide Solar Technology to Voorhees Township Public Schools
Tuesday April 25, 3:01 am ET
Rooftop Mounted Solar Unit at Middle School Will Sharply Reduce Operating Expenses

PENNINGTON, N.J., April 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced the signing of a $295,301 contract to provide design, engineering and solar equipment for the Voorhees Township Public Schools in Voorhees, New Jersey. The primary contractor for the project is Ray Angelini, Inc. (RAI) of Sewell, New Jersey. Construction will begin immediately for the installation of photovoltaic panel array on the roof of the Voorhees Middle School on Hollyoak Drive. WorldWater's patented electronics will automatically control power delivery to the school and manage the net metering of surplus electricity back to the utility to earn renewable energy credits.

Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman of WorldWater & Power Corp. commented on the signing. ``This is our first solar installation for a school in New Jersey. We are highly optimistic that more school boards will take advantage of the generous rebates from New Jersey's Clean Energy Program that pay for about 50% of the solar equipment and installation. In addition, the school will be earning energy credits currently valued at $0.22 per kilowatt-hour while showing the community that solar power is a clean, highly cost-effective alternative to skyrocketing energy costs.'

Chris Sherring, WorldWater's Project Manager, added, ``School buildings are ideal candidates for solar installations. They usually have very large flat roofs that are not shaded by trees. Solar panel arrays are installed so they are non-penetrating to the roof structure and do not compromise waterproofing. The Voorhees' school will be generating solar power 'year round, but when it's closed during the hottest summer months, it will be earning very large renewable energy credits by sending solar generated electricity back to the utility company. This will sharply reduce their overall annual operating expenses.'

Camden County's Voorhees Township has had a population increase to more than 28,000 people over the past ten years. Median family income of the Township is one of the highest in South Jersey.

WorldWater & Power Announces First Quarter Results; 67% Sequential Revenue Growth and Return to Gross Profit
Monday , May 15, 2006 07:30 ET

PENNINGTON, N.J., May 15, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTCBB:WWAT.OB), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2006.

Operational Highlights

-- Completed the installation of a 270 kilowatt system at a Cocopah tree farm in California-- generating solar energy to power two 250 horsepower motors for irrigation and electricity-- and inaugurated the first DuPont solar energy array at the company's Chestnut Run facility in Wilmington, (DE). WorldWater also completed the second phase of a 500 kW project for the Atlantic County (NJ) Utilities Authority and a solar system to power all well pumps and the water treatment plant for the Idyllwild (CA) water district.

-- Began work on several new projects, including Valley Car Wash in Los Angeles, Stockton College (NJ) and several California and New Jersey residential projects.

-- Signed the first contracts--with Liberty Science Center and two New Jersey private schools--for WorldWater's Alternative Clean Energy Services (ACES) plan, where the customer can purchase power through an external financing entity--at a reduced rate--for a minimum of ten years, with almost no upfront costs. Also signed contracts with the Voorhees (NJ) School District and NJ residential projects for construction later this year.

-- Demonstrated the MobileMaxPure(TM) at the National Hurricane Conference, highlighting the country's only solar-powered mobile water pumping, purification and satellite communications unit.

"We are making significant progress towards our revenue goals this year," said Quentin T. Kelly, WorldWater & Power Corp. Chairman. "WorldWater booked almost as much revenue in the first quarter of 2006 as for all of 2005, and we continue to announce additional contract awards that will drive sequential growth in the quarters to come. Our ACES program has been quite successful, providing our advanced solar products to customers through an external financing entity, which can then sell electricity to end users at a reduced rate. This program is a 'win-win' for both WorldWater and our clients."

In addition, Mr. Kelly continued, "The company's MobileMaxPure(TM) was very favorably received at this year's National Hurricane Conference, and we believe this unique offering can provide life-saving assistance in post-hurricane/tornado/earthquake circumstances to those in need over the coming years. The future looks bright for WorldWater, and we see only increasing demand for our products and services."

First Quarter Financial Results

Revenue for the first quarter was $ 1.95 million, representing growth of 67% sequentially from the fourth quarter's $1.2 million and compared with $16,443 reported in the first quarter of 2005. Gross profit for the quarter was $ 130,000, versus a loss in the prior-year period. The company posted an operating loss of $(2.1) million compared with an operating loss of $(1.1) million in the first quarter of 2005, representing increased SG&A costs and stock compensation expense. Including the impact of warrant fees, WorldWater's net loss for the first quarter was $(3.6) million, or $(0.03) per share, compared to $(1.3) million, or $(0.12) per share, in the prior-year period.

WorldWater & Power says Emcore to buy stake for $18 mln

Nov 30 (Reuters) - WorldWater & Power Corp. (WWAT.OB: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday said semiconductor products maker Emcore Corp. (EMKR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) agreed to buy a 26.5 percent stake on a diluted basis in WorldWater, for $18 million in cash.

In return, Emcore will receive convertible preferred stock and warrants of WorldWater, equivalent to about 31 percent equity ownership, Emcore said.

The companies agreed that Emcore would be the exclusive supplier of multi-junction solar cells, assemblies and concentrator subsystems to WorldWater with a contract of up to $100 million over the next three years. (Reporting by Sayantani Ghosh in Bangalore)

WorldWater & Power Corp.: 2006 Breakthrough Year
Monday January 8, 7:30 am ET
Record Revenues, Strategic Partnerships, Pending Acquisition, Diversity of Solar Projects and New Patents Lay Groundwork for Future Growth
Expects to Meet $17 Million 2006 Guideline

PENNINGTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB: WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today released a general summary of corporate milestones achieved in 2006 that it believes will propel the company to major growth over the next several years. Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman of WorldWater & Power Corp., stated, "The year 2006 proved to be a breakthrough year for WorldWater in many aspects: sharply increased revenues, gross profits, strategic partnerships, acquisition progress, technological advances, multiple project signings and job completions on time and on budget. Our people and the unique patented technology we have developed have opened doors to bidding and winning larger contracts in expanding markets, with new applications and partnerships significantly broadening our business base."

During the year, the Company completed and or initiated 19 commercial or industrial projects in California, New Jersey, Delaware and Texas, in addition to more than a dozen residential systems. WorldWater expects to meet its earlier guidance of $17 million for 2006, according to Mr. Kelly.

Revenue for the 3rd Quarter of 2006 was the best in the Company's history, $6.5 million with gross margins of 22%, compared to revenue of $1.5 million for the 3rd Quarter of 2005. WorldWater & Power expects that revenue in the 4th Quarter 2006 will surpass 3rd Quarter 2006 results. The 4th Quarter also saw completion of the company's largest solar project to date, the $7.8 million Farm ACW avocado ranch in California, believed to be the world's largest application of solar for agriculture, and the initiation of two projects under the company's new Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) sales program (St. Joseph of the Palisades High School and Gerrard Berman Day School, Solomon Schechter, both in New Jersey, with Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC as the system owner).

In November 2006, the Company signed a strategic alliance with EMCORE Corporation (NASDAQ: EMKR - News) wherein EMCORE purchased 26.5% of WorldWater stock on a fully diluted basis for $18 million in cash ($13.5 million on signing and $4.5 million on completion of the strategic agreement before Jan 31, 2007). Under the strategic agreement, EMCORE will supply its high-efficiency multi-junction solar cells and concentrator systems to WorldWater for marketing to the terrestrial market. Contract value of the WorldWater purchase of cells and concentrator systems from EMCORE is up to $100 million over the next 3 years.

In July, WW&P entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) with ENTECH, Inc. of Keller, TX, to acquire the company. The LOI was extended by both parties in late December and the acquisition is expected to be completed shortly. ENTECH is a developer and manufacturer of advanced concentrating solar photovoltaic and thermal technologies for terrestrial and space power applications and has developed record-breaking solar conversion concentrator systems. ENTECH develops and supplies proprietary solar technology for space missions for NASA, DOD and commercial customers, and has installed ground-based systems. The combined technologies of ENTECH, EMCORE and WorldWater are expected to generate and deliver solar electric and thermal energy for terrestrial purposes at prices competitive to retail electric and natural gas prices without relying on rebates.

In addition to the economics of combining technologies, Mr. Kelly declared, "With EMCORE's multijunction cells in the focal spot of ENTECH's optics creating 500x to 1000x concentrated sunlight, and WorldWater's electronic control devices translating that concentrated electrical energy into megawatts of working power in the field, we expect to add a whole new dimension to the public's understanding of solar energy. We're bringing the future into the present."

In @ 0.635 yesterday.

Statements in this clip are key; expectations to announce additional large projects soon, and merger discussions!!

"WorldWater is actively bidding on a number of complex, multi-megawatt projects and recently won a $5.7 solar project with Bayshore Recycling, a 700 kilowatt system. We expect to announce additional large projects in the near future, some of which will leverage our expanding relationship with ENTECH. In that regard, we are continuing to finalize our merger discussions and anticipate providing further details in the near future. While this opportunity has always been considered strategically important for WorldWater & Power, we have diligently worked to construct a transaction that brings maximum value to our shareholders."

Not to mention record earnings!

"Revenue for the fourth quarter was a record $7.1 million, with gross profit of $0.9 million while, for the year, WorldWater reported revenue of $17.3 million, with gross profit of $2.7 million."

"I am excited by the growth prospects this year and stand behind the previously-announced goal of $30-$35 million in revenue..."

I see great potential for this company; this gem should break 1.00 soon.

Volume continues to be solid over the last 2 months, the chart looks good, and with expectations to "announce additional large projects in the near future...http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070402/20070402006474.html?.v=1 (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070402/20070402006474.html?.v=1)" (one of which was announced on 04/05/07) the PPS should continue to rise on good news.

It had a confirmed BUY signal on americanbulls.com Monday, and now they've posted a HOLD signal.  We made a new 52-week high again today at .79 (which is also a 5-year high).

from yahoo board:

1. There will be a "Special Meeting" in July to do what could not be done today because the company did not have a quorum. They were 10 million shares "short" because of a technical glitch (my undereducated opinion) apparently caused by holding back the 10K when the proxy was mailed. The 10K was held back to remove the "going concern" language. The language was removed. So, we have what we here in New Jersey call a "do over" at the request of their servicing agent, ADP.. Returns of stock voted showed approximately 90 percent in favor vs. 10 % negative.

2. QK said we face 2 crisis: energy and water. At this point in time, the primary focus has been on the energy crisis while the water crisis has not been fully recognized. QK reiterated what he said in the Jeffries presentation that in 2, 3 or 4 years, "water will be what energy is today". Of course, WWAT is uniquely positioned to offer solutions in both areas.

3. QK said they are adding engineers, project managers and contractors every week to keep up with business as it is ramped up.

4. One of WWAT's strategic partners is NAI Global. NAI brings 3000 - 4000 sales people in 400 cities around the world with 100's of millions of square feet in roof tops and parking lots... all potential consumers of WWAT's services and products.

5. There will be a meeting in July of all "airport managers" to see WWAT's solar arrays.

6. In the past there were fears that solar arrays would "blind" pilots with bright reflections. This is an unfounded fear because array panels absorb light instead of reflecting light.

7. WWAT held meetings with two major buildings' managers in the New York area. QK said "what we can supply, no one else can supply to them".

8. Ten percent of all energy in California is used to pump water. WWAT is one of two preferred suppliers. Powerlight is the other and WWAT's main competitor. QK said Powerlight cannot do what we do....

9. In California alone, there is the potential of 5000 megawatts. In the next 24 months, WWAT's aim/goals are to go after 25 systems worth $150 million. Thereafter, their aim/goal is to after 75 more systems worth another $450 million...and, this is just in California.

10. QK discussed "PPA's". QK said WWAT developed PPA's for project financing for WWAT's clients. This is another advantage that WWAT has over other companies. QK said we have large pools of money available. There are 4 PPA's in particular at this time. This allows WWAT to bid on multi megawatt jobs NOW... QK said they have a 15 megawatt bid out there right now... and they have another 2, 3 or 4 FIFTY megawatt bids out there... QK said they have bid on a $100 - $250 million dollar job with "Site Global"(Phonetic spelling) ... "our big brother". As cash flow improves, there wil be a point when WWAT can bid those large jobs without "Site Global".

11. I have no personal doubt that Entech is a "done deal" but for the final exchage of money and stock after the company is authorised by shareholders to raise the number of shares to 400 million. The delay does not bother me. Sure, I'd like to see it finalized, but I appreciate the fact that sometimes we have to wait for good things in life... When questioned about Entech, I believe that QK said something that they are in the final stages...or words to that effect. Reading between the lines, it seems to me that additional shares will put the ink on the contract. QK described the relationship of WWAT, Emcore and Entech as being a three legged stool. QK said "We work very close with Entech.... that Entech's optical lenses applied with Emcore and our technology... we will be able to opperate...for large communities..." or words to that effect. (I wish this meeting was recorded) QK also said they bid now with contemplation of Entech....

12. QK discussed WWAT being in a period where they are moving away from small jobs, and segwaying into larger jobs.

13. We will see Fresno Airport money in Q3 & Q4 this year. I do not know what percentage QK was talking about.

14. Today's gross margins are 15% to 20%. WWAT's goal is to raise gross margins to 25% to 30%. Their margins will do better when they use Emcore and Entech concentrators.

15. QK said WWAT now has a "Blue Chip Accounting Department".

16. WWAT has outgrown its 12,000 square foot office space with an annex building, and will move into a building in Ewing New Jersey with 30,000 square feet out of 150,000 square feet...potential to continue to expand on site at the new building...???? Emcore's R&D to share space with WWAT as part of the 30,000 square feet.

17. QK said they have a great relationship with an investment bank that will raise money for WWAT.

18. QK said they plan to move to the Nasdaq, probably to the "small caps". The plan to move to the Nasdaq is because of increased dialogue with institutional investors.

19 On display outside in front of the clubhouse was a "MobileMax" portable solar powered water pump... Look at WWAT's website to see its picture and specs. I believe this is the same or similar unit that was donated/loaned to Katrina relief workers in September 2005. I asked one of the WWAT employees at the unit why the US Government has not purchased a number of these units for responding to future emergencies. He said it has taken a year and a half to get approvals from the government to be a vendor to sell to the government... He said they should be approved in another two weeks... It sure would be nice to see thousands of these units around the country to cope with power and water issues after hurricanes, tornados and other natural disasters..... Also, how about thousands of these units for our troops around the world...

20. Finally, an observation... The people of WWAT seem to be true professionals. I was pleased to meet some of them today. I am impressed with them, their resumes and the feeling of confidence they conveyed to me.

21. Please check the 22 Slides WWAT presentation:

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Announces Signing Final Letter of Intent with ENTECH
Tuesday , May 29, 2007 12:41ET
May 29 - WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTC BB: WWAT; formerly WorldWater & Power Corp.), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, announced that Chairman and CEO Quentin T. Kelly and ENTECH, Inc. Vice President - Corporate Business Robert R. Walters signed a final Letter of Intent defining the terms for the acquisition of ENTECH, Inc., developer and manufacturer of advanced solar concentrating technology. The definitive agreement is expected to be completed before the end of the second quarter, with closing scheduled soon thereafter. As part of the agreement, WorldWater will pay ENTECH shareholders $6.3 million in cash consideration along with $12 million in WorldWater common stock. The deal also includes earn-out provisions for ENTECH's stockholders and management if certain performance benchmarks are met. Additional terms were not disclosed.

"We greatly appreciate our shareholders' patience as we worked hard to structure an appropriate transaction this past year," stated Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO. "While it has clearly taken longer than expected to finalize the terms of this important acquisition, we remain very excited about the opportunities that ENTECH brings to WorldWater. ENTECH's solar concentrator technology greatly enhances the efficiency of large solar applications, utilizing 95% less silicon to generate power than required by conventional flat plate solar modules. As a combined entity, we can provide solar systems capable of generating and delivering electrical and thermal energy at a price competitive with the grid - even before rebates. We have been working with ENTECH on a number of megawatt and multi-megawatt RFPs and look forward to consummating this transaction in the very near future. This is an exciting time for our two companies."

WorldWater Breaks Ground for Country's Largest Airport Solar System at Fresno Yosemite International
Thursday July 12, 3:00 pm ET
2-Megawatt, $16 Million Dollar Project Projected to Provide 40% of Airport's Annual Power

FRESNO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News; formerly WorldWater & Power Corp.), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today held an official groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a large scale solar electric system at Fresno Yosemite International Airport. The 2-megawatt installation is scheduled for completion by early 2008 and will be operated by WorldWater under a 20-year power-purchase contract awarded by the Fresno City Council. It is the largest solar project at any airport in the United States.

At the ceremony, Russ Widmar, Fresno Aviation Director said, "This is an exciting day for an airport that prides itself as a leader in technology. Our new solar system should save the airport about $13 million dollars over the next 20 years as well as help protect the environment with a major renewable energy source."

Frank W. Smith, WorldWater's Chief Operating Officer also commented, "Solar is the ideal power solution for airports. Approximately five acres of raised solar panels will not only provide electricity but shade for rental car lots. An additional 20 acres of ground mounted photovoltaic arrays were approved by the FAA for installation in a portion of the airport's approach zone where occupied structures are not allowed, so otherwise unused real estate becomes a valuable asset."

Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO of WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. commented on the event from the company's headquarters in New Jersey. "This is an important milestone for solar in the United States and reflects our strengths as a company. We can design and build large scale, technologically efficient systems on fast-track schedules under power purchase agreements that require no out-of-pocket cost for the customer. The customer saves substantially on long term electric costs and we manage the system. It's a formula for success!"

Fresno Yosemite International Airport is the major air transportation center for the City of Fresno and the San Joaquin Valley region. In 2006, it connected over 1.2 million passengers to destination throughout the United States as well as to Mexico.

WWAT is doing pretty well.  Up 20.21% today on 4.1M volume.

They should be releasing their quarterly report in the next few days.  Question is: should I hold?

According to my little extension calculator, my target is around $2.98...

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. Signs Full Merger Agreement with ENTECH, Inc.
Monday October 29, 3:01 am ET
Construction of 50-MegaWatt Plant to Begin Immediately for Spanish Projects

EWING, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, and ENTECH, Inc. of Keller, Texas, a high- tech supplier of solar technology to NASA for space operations, announced today the execution of an Agreement and Plan of Merger pursuant to which ENTECH will merge with and into a wholly-owned subsidiary of WorldWater. Under the terms of the Agreement and Plan of Merger, WorldWater will pay the following consideration to ENTECH stockholders:
$5 million in cash;
Shares of common stock of WorldWater based on a formula which, assuming a $2.00 per share price of our common stock, would result in issuance to ENTECH stockholders of common stock valued at approximately $39,300,000; and
Earn-out consideration calculated as 5% of WorldWater's gross revenues determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles which will be paid until the accumulated total of such earn-out payments to the ENTECH stockholders equals $5,000,000.
In addition to the consideration to be paid to ENTECH's stockholders, WorldWater will pay $1.3 million of ENTECH's liabilities at closing and provide $5 million of working capital to commence the manufacture of the ENTECH 20x concentrator systems for a 50 MegaWatt plant in Spain. As a result of this transaction, it is anticipated that ENTECH's current stockholders will own approximately 6.6% of the fully-diluted post-transaction common stock of WorldWater upon completion of the merger, which is conditioned upon obtaining the requisite stockholder approval to increase WWAT authorized common stock.

As a WorldWater subsidiary, ENTECH will maintain its identity, location, and business operations in both terrestrial and space solar energy. The Company anticipates that ENTECH will continue to perform its contract work for NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, and other customers, as well as its internal R&D programs.

Starting immediately, the company will begin construction of a 50 MegaWatt plant in Spain, which is expected to be in full production of the ENTECH 20x concentrator solar systems beginning in the second quarter of 2008. WorldWater has signed a Letter of Intent with the Spanish firm M & G Promociones for installation of ENTECH systems for 10 MW in 2008, 10 MW in 2009, 10 MW in 2010 and 50 MW in each of 2011 and 2012. WorldWater also has signed an agreement with Prime Solar Senergy S.L. of Madrid and Barcelona to represent the company in obtaining further business in the burgeoning Spanish solar market.

"This complex merger has taken considerable time since we signed the original Letter of Intent in July 2006, and I appreciate the patience of our shareholders and employees, but we firmly believe that the transaction will prove to be a pivotal point in our company's history. Together, we expect to become one of the lowest cost providers of solar energy in the world," said Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO of WorldWater & Solar Technologies. "This year, we've seen explosive interest and tremendous growth opportunities in large solar installations, particularly in places like Spain and the Southwestern United States, and we are now in a position to take the lead in providing multi-megawatts of electricity for major projects."

Dr. Walter Hesse, CEO of ENTECH, commented, "With the combined technologies of WorldWater and ENTECH, our solar systems will be capable of generating and delivering electrical and thermal energy on site to our customers at prices that are competitive with retail electric levels. ENTECH's 20x patented concentrator technology combined with WorldWater's proprietary control devices allow for the installation of large solar 'farms' with greatly reduced requirements for solar cell materials, and decreased reliance on rebates or other incentives for the funding of economically competitive installations."

About WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp:

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corporation is a full-service, international solar electric engineering and water management company with unique, high-powered and patented solar technology that can not only generate and distribute electricity, but can drive 1000 horsepower motors and pumps from sunshine independently or in conjunction with the electric grid, providing solutions to a broad spectrum of the world's electricity and water supply problems. WorldWater & Solar Technologies Announces Third Quarter Results (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/071114/20071114005331.html?.v=1)

EWING, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-horsepower solar systems, today announced results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2007 and issued guidance for the years 2007 and 2008.

Reflecting startup delays in implementation which pushed third quarter business into the fourth quarter of 2007 and first quarter of 2008, revenue for the third quarter was $4.4 million, compared with $6.5 million reported in the third quarter of 2006. Gross profit for the quarter was $0.6 million, versus $1.5 million in the prior-year period. Large projects which were scheduled for groundbreaking in the second and third quarters are now starting installation in the fourth quarter. The Company's net loss for the third quarter of 2007 was $3.8 million, or $(0.02) per share, compared to a loss of $0.9 million, or $(0.01) per share, in the third quarter of 2006. The 2007 third quarter reflects investments in R&D, marketing, and operations to support WorldWater's strategic growth initiatives, which include moving to fewer, multi-megawatt projects from higher volume smaller projects.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2007, WorldWater reported revenue of $7.6 million, compared with $10.3 million for the first nine months of 2006. Gross profit year to date was $1.1 million, versus $1.9 million in the prior-year period. Net loss for the first three quarters of 2007 was $8.7 million, or $(0.05) per share, compared to a loss of $8.6 million, or $(0.07) per share, last year.

"We saw results somewhat lag expectations this quarter due to unavoidable delays regarding our $17 million project for Fresno Yosemite International Airport, our $13.3 million project at Denver International Airport, and our $7.2 million project at Valley Center Water District in California, such that our updated guidance for this year is revenue of $20 million to $22 million. The delays, mainly for permitting or contractual changes in the scope of work, are not unusual in our industry and have meant that certain revenue reporting has shifted from the third quarter into the fourth quarter of 2007 and the first quarter of 2008," said Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO.

"Our guidance for 2008 is $80 million to $90 million in revenue broken out as $50 million in WorldWater core business and $30-$40 million in new ENTECH concentrator business. We are very enthusiastic about the execution of current and upcoming contractual projects and the business pipeline for next year and beyond," Mr. Kelly continued. "2007 has been a year with great accomplishments, including the signing of the Agreement to merge with ENTECH, Inc., setting the stage for extensive growth as we enter 2008. We have succeeded in our shift in focus to larger solar projects, as demonstrated by contracts for the two international airports and the Valley Center Water District, among others.

"In addition, our lawyers in Spain are continuing to finalize contracts with M&G Promociones de Vivienda Urbana S.A., a real estate development firm, while we analyze many other projects there in conjunction with our Spanish advisor, Prime Solar Senergy. Our pipeline of business opportunities both domestically and internationally for large solar projects continues to expand, and we have begun the manufacturing line to produce 50 MW of ENTECH 20x concentrator modules for the U.S. and European markets.

"To accommodate our growth, on October 1 we also moved to new, much larger facilities in Ewing, NJ and have added engineering, project management and sales personnel to execute our business pipeline. With the combined technologies of WorldWater, ENTECH and our strategic partner EMCORE, our solar systems will be uniquely capable of providing utility-scale electrical and thermal energy on site at prices that we expect to be competitive with the lowest-cost solar electric providers in the world. This patented concentrator technology, integrated with WorldWater's proprietary control devices, allows for the installation of large solar 'farms' with greatly-reduced requirements for silicon cell materials. Given our position with such advanced solar applications, we look forward to strong, solid expansion in 2008," Mr. Kelly concluded

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Selected for $4 Million Solar Contract by City Council of Ocean City, New Jersey
Tuesday March 11, 11:50 am ET
Council Chooses WorldWater to Build Largest Municipal Solar Installation in New Jersey

EWING, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced that the City Council of Ocean City, NJ has awarded the Company a contract to build a $4 million solar system for the City which is expected to produce nearly 550,000 kilowatt hours of energy in its first year. The Ocean City Municipal Solar Energy Power Project will include roof mounts on the Cultural Arts and Community Center, the new Public Works Complex building, the Vehicle Maintenance Center and the Sports and Civic Center.

The award for the long-term Power Purchase Agreement with WorldWater is expected to allow Ocean City to offset approximately 17% of the City's total yearly electricity requirements for buildings that it owns and/or operates. The project is expected to be completed later this year.

"This is a win-win for WorldWater and the State of New Jersey," said Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO. "Following on our successful installations elsewhere in the state, these rooftop applications will save Ocean City millions of dollars overall and once again prove that sustainable energy is a sensible solution as oil prices remain at record levels. Under WorldWater's awarded contract, which lasts 15 years, the company will receive $1.6 million in rebates from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, along with solar renewable energy credits (SRECs) and federal tax credits on top of the ongoing electric billings to be paid by Ocean City. We are pleased to continue providing New Jersey residents with cutting edge, environmentally-friendly ways to power their way to the future."

Four proposals were received by the City, which selected WorldWater. Mayor Salvatore Perillo stated: "At a time when we are seeing double-digit increases in annual electric costs, this is welcomed savings. The savings will start in July and will help us to reduce our energy budget."

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. is a global leader in the design, engineering and delivery of solar energy systems. The largest source of carbon dioxide emissions, the leading cause of global warming, is caused by electric power generating stations burning fossil fuel.

In addition to Megawatts of installations in the US and globally, solar installations completed by WorldWater in the State of New Jersey include: the Federal Courthouse Annex in Trenton; Liberty Science Center in Jersey City; Atlantic County Utilities Authority Water Treatment Plant in Atlantic City; Voorhees Middle School in Voorhees Township; Ray Angelini Incorporated (RAI) Electrical Contractors in Sewell and Richard Stockton College in Pomona.

This installation by WorldWater will eliminate over 820,000 lbs of CO2 being released in the atmosphere.
