This stock looks like something your resident genius might have found using your search engines. The story is that it has been awarded some patents regarding genetic delivery systems. Market seems to have liked the news because it went up today on heavy volume.
Any opinions as to it's potential for the next couple of days?
I kinda like the chart. I see some technicals showing up that could be very bullish. No trendline breaks at this point. If i was thinking about entry I would either enter here with a very tight stop or wait for a volume follow through.
Thanks for your comments and advice! I think I'll take a wait and see viewpoint for now.
Like EliteG said we still lack a bullish technical picture in TGEN:
update...watchin this guy. Huge gap to clear 1 2 3 resistance?
If the stories behind these stock add up, then its waiting to move up. Worth putting on watch list.
My strategy (just by tecnical analysis) :
Buy today DGIT and TGEN
DGIT :
Buy at 0.530
Stop loss : 0.517
Target : 1.10
Ratio : 200/2.5 = 80 !!!! This is unique !!!!!!!!!!!!!
TGEN (second choice, less interesting)
Buy at 0.580
Stop loss : 0.560
Target : 0.75
Ratio : 29.3/3.57 = 8.2 !!!Very good
The interest of these stocks : if we are wrong loss is very little, respectally 2.5% and 3.57%

Targeted Genetics gets HIV vaccine funding
Monday November 28, 1:05 pm ET
Targeted Genetics Corp. said it could receive $18 million in federal funding over five years for an HIV vaccine program that targets strains of the disease most often seen in North America and Europe.
The total grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease is $21.75 million, which will provide money for developing a manufacturing process for vaccines and support preclinical and clinical development of a vaccine against the human immunodeficiency virus, according to a news release.
Seattle-based (NASDAQ: TGEN - News) Targeted Genetics is already developing vaccines for HIV in developing countries in collaboration with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Columbus (Ohio) Children's Research Institute.
The new contract will allow for expansion of the program, officials said.

What happenede here? ohhh my goodness. 0.41 for a share is pretty cheap and the chart shows that a small movement up is coming. I would say 25% in the next 2 weeks. Please check the chart and tell me what you say, but don't be so greedy and sell it fast, before you loose more than you invested. ;D
We must pay attention .... :D

Targeted Genetics posts Q4 profit, shares soar 66.15%
Was the highest percentage gainer on the Nasdaq early Thursday, following in-line fourth-quarter results and in spite of its auditors issuing it a "going concern" notification.
Targeted Genetics said it ended 2006 with slightly less than one year of unencumbered cash and its auditors had issued it a going concern notification.
Company president and chief executive H. Stewart Parker, played down this development, saying in a statement the company is financially stronger than it was the same time last year.
Targeted Genetics had cash and cash equivalents of $6.2 million as of Dec. 31, 2006. The company also received $8.1 million in net proceeds from a stock offering in January.
The company said fourth-quarter research and development expense decreased to $4 million from $4.2 million, mainly due to lower product development cost related to its HIV/AIDS vaccine collaboration and its restructuring efforts in January 2006.
Targeted Genetics said it planned to further solidify its cash position through equity raises, partnerships, grants and other means.
The company posted a profit of 8 cents a share for the fourth quarter, which was the same as one analyst's expectation before items. Last year the company posted a loss of 41 cents a share for the same period.

Looks good at these levels, imo.
Considering a nibble...
I think now is the right to get in TGEN. Technically she is ready for a (strong) move imo.
;D Breaking out ;D
Hit 2.40 ;D
Been awhile since we have spoke of this one.
Stock has looked like a break out too many times, but think of it as a perpetual option with your downside limited and potential to at least double your money.
