Hello,

Yes, I'm holding ZICA @ $2.91, and I'll hold it for a few days. You must do your own DD, but I don't think is time to sell yet, the stock is gaining some nice momentum.

ZICA : has just crossed over MACD in a bullish upward trend. Had nice volume with some very good positive news on Dec. 13th. It was in the top 20 gainers of the Nasdaq percent gainers today. Today is the second of Three White Soldiers forming, Tomorrow will probably be the third. With to confirmed bullish upward trends forming this will be one to put on you're radar and maybe buy if you see another white candlestick forming and going higher than previous days close.

Zi Expands Growing Presence in Asia-Pacific through New Licensing
Agreements for Its eZiText Predictive Text Input Technology

Zi Corporation (NASDAQ:ZICA - News; TSX:ZIC - News), a leading provider of intelligent interface solutions, today announced that it has expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific wireless market. Zi has signed significant licensing agreements for its advanced eZiText® predictive text input technology with five wireless companies. Located in the People's Republic of China, Malaysia and Korea, the five original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will integrate eZiText into their own offerings to reduce key presses and enhance the user experience when text messaging.

Under the terms of the agreements, Desay A&V Science and Technology Co. Ltd., Eastern Communications Co. Ltd., Keben Telecom Co. Ltd., M dot Mobile Sdn Bhd and Uniscope Technologies (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. have all licensed eZiText. Desay, Eastern Communications and Uniscope have also licensed Zi's Chinese and English language databases for use with eZiText. Keben Telecom and M Dot Mobile have licensed the predictive text input technology for a variety of languages. The five new OEMs are expected to introduce devices in the market with eZiText embedded throughout 2006.

Industry analyst firm Gartner is predicting that mobile data service revenue in Asia-Pacific will increase from $15.7 billion in 2005 to $35 billion in 2009, with a compound annual growth rate of 22.3 percent. "The Asia-Pacific region has consistently been one of the leading markets for wireless adoption," said Milos Djokovic, chief technical officer and chief operating officer, Zi Corporation. "With the forecasted growth in mobile data revenues, Zi is empowering these five OEMs with the ability to drive increased usage of text messaging applications through the simplification of the user interface."

By escalating its presence in the Asia-Pacific wireless market, Zi is enabling more original equipment and original design manufacturers to enhance the power of their offerings with intuitive user interface technologies. These OEMs can improve the performance and marketability of their offerings, helping gain increased market share and drive wireless subscriber adoption of their services.

Virgin Mobile Preliminary Market Trial Data Shows Boost in Mobile Usage With Zi Corporation's Qix Software
Tuesday December 20, 8:00 am ET
Extension to Phase II Planned

LONDON & CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2005--Zi Corporation (TSX:ZIC - News; NASDAQ:ZICA - News), today announced that preliminary results from the first live network trial of Zi Corporation's revolutionary Qix(TM) service discovery engine indicate significant increased usage levels on the mobile phones involved - from simple voice calls to SMS, MMS and Internet access.
Qix was bundled with Virgin Mobile's Nokia 6630 handsets. Virgin Mobile began the UK-based trial earlier this year in the summer and following the success of the initial phase the operator is now set to commence phase II and extend the trial to more users in the New Year.

Graeme Hutchinson, sales & marketing director at Virgin Mobile, said "Virgin Mobile always puts its customers' experience first - and the clever technology of Qix helps make complex phones simple to use. Our customers tell us that Qix means they get much more out of their phone - no more delving through menus - they can easily find what they are looking for on their phone simply and quickly. The results show much increased customer usage. This success has us looking forward to extending the trial to more customers and other phones in our range."

Qix provides for the first time an intuitive, fast search index for a mobile user, in the same way that an Internet search engine helps web surfers find what they are looking for. Qix is an innovative mobile service discovery engine that sits on the phone's idle screen and combines predictive text and content indexing to enable rapid discovery of contacts, features and services on a mobile phone.

Qix encourages greater Average Revenue per User (ARPU) by significantly reducing the number of key presses needed to use a phone, thereby enhancing the user experience for the subscriber and simultaneously driving service usage and adoption. Over time, Qix's interactive memory remembers new user data, including new URL bookmarks and called numbers for future presentation. It also tracks frequently used personal selections over time and then presents them with priority over other information, providing easy access to favourite items of the user.

"This is great news for the mobile industry in general and Zi in particular," said Zi Corporation's chief technical officer and chief operating officer Milos Djokovic.

"We knew we had something exciting in the labs earlier this year and Qix attracted interest from operators when we previewed it in Europe, North America and Asia. Virgin gave us the first chance to prove it in a live environment, for which we are very grateful, and the early signs are that it is delivering on its promises."

About Qix

Qix is a compelling new service discovery engine that sits on top of user-platform environments and operating systems. Qix provides a quick and easy method for accessing a phone's full set of features, applications and services without having to remember where and how to find them via a phone's built-in menu structure. Qix intuitively accesses a phone's features directly from the idle/dialing screen using the standard keypad. Visit www.zicorp.com/qix for more product information.

Quick profile on ZI:
Zi Corporation develops software for mobile and consumer electronic devices through its Zi Technology segment
Through its e-Learning segment, which includes Oztime, English Practice, and an equity interest in Magic Lantern Group, Inc., the company also involves in e-learning technology, content, and customer service, as well as educational content and distribution channels to offer learning management systems, interactive online courses, and network education solutions.

Taking a quick look at this company's financial, I kinda like it:
- Net loss over the past 3 years, but steadily getting closer to a positive number (-$25 M, -$6 M and -$2 M)
- Current assets almost x3 current liabilities... this is good! Cash alone covers current liabilities x2
- Great $10 M positive cash flow for 2004 - it was negative all years before

On the more negative side: negative ROE, ROA and Profit Margin for the past 3 years

I'm not too comfortable with TA just yet and have no clue as to how to attach a chart, so I'll just leave it at RSI just went over 50, but MACD is leveling and rising.

yes peterwangos. I actually did not catch that.

From the company's 3rd quarter report (http://www.zicorp.com/PDFs/q32005.pdf), they already have a net loss of $3.2 M for the 9 months ending sept 2005. When they were down only $477 K at that same time last year...  ???

Zi Corporation Signs Agreement with One of Top Ten Global Wireless Service Operators for Qix'TM'
Wednesday September 27, 8:00 am ET

First Deployment of Qix Mobile Search & Discovery Solution

CALGARY, ABLBERTA--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 27, 2006 -- Zi Corporation (TSX:ZIC.TO - News)(NASDAQ:ZICA - News), a leading provider of intelligent interface solutions for mobile devices, today announced it has signed a contract with a major global wireless service operator to incorporate Zi's revolutionary mobile search and service discovery solution, Qix, into its wireless mobile devices. It is expected that a joint announcement will be made with the operator when units ship into the marketplace during fourth quarter of 2006.

The agreement calls for Zi to receive an upfront fee plus a unit license fee for every handset embedded with Qix sold by the operator. A full customization package will be provided to support carrier branding and enhance end-user experience. Zi expects that a successful initial rollout will be followed by large-scale deployment on multiple handsets and platforms.

This deal follows a trial with UK operator Virgin Mobile that demonstrated a 33 percent increase in ARPU (average revenue per user) among consumers in the trial. These trial results back Zi's claim that Qix is the key to removing barriers to revenue-producing features on mobile handsets. Based on the significant revenue opportunities that Qix brings to customers, the fee structure for this type of agreement represents a considerable increase when compared to the license fees the Company typically receives for its other user input technologies.

Zi President and CEO Milos Djokovic commented, "This agreement is a major milestone achievement for Zi. It is the first revenue generating agreement for our breakthrough Qix technology with a major wireless operator and it is a key step in our strategy to capture a significant share of the global wireless market with Qix."

"We are proud of our reputation as innovators and with Qix we feel we have made a significant contribution towards helping users get the most from their phones - while helping operators generate much-needed increased revenues," added Djokovic. "Qix has already proved itself with Virgin Mobile and it is now set to help other operators around the world."

About Qix

Qix is an innovative mobile search and service discovery solution that enables rapid discovery of contacts, features, services and more, on mobile handsets. Qix removes barriers to revenue-producing features on mobile phones by significantly reducing the number of key presses needed to navigate through content. As a result, it increases service usage and adoption resulting in greater ARPU for carriers. Qix interactive memory remembers user data for future access, and tracks and prioritizes frequently used personal selections based on individual usage patterns.

Falling Wedge (Reversal)
The falling wedge is a bullish pattern that begins wide at the top and contracts as prices move lower. This price action forms a cone that slopes down as the reaction highs and reaction lows converge. In contrast to symmetrical triangles, which have no definitive slope and no bias, falling wedges definitely slope down and have a bullish bias. However, this bullish bias cannot be realized until a resistance breakout.

The falling wedge can also fit into the continuation category. As a continuation pattern, the falling wedge will still slope down, but the slope will be against the prevailing uptrend. As a reversal pattern, the falling wedge slopes down and with the prevailing trend. Regardless of the type (reversal or continuation), falling wedges are regarded as bullish patterns.

As with rising wedges, the falling wedge can be one of the most difficult chart patterns to accurately recognize and trade. When lower highs and lower lows form, as in a falling wedge, a security remains in a downtrend. The falling wedge is designed to spot a decrease in downside momentum and alert technicians to a potential trend reversal. Even though selling pressure may be diminishing, demand does not win out until resistance is broken. As with most patterns, it is important to wait for a breakout and combine other aspects of technical analysis to confirm signals.

First Commercial Deployment of Qix, Zi Corporation's revolutionary mobile search and discovery engine

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(MARKET WIRE)--Dec 22, 2006 -- Zi Corporation (TSX:ZIC.TO - News)(NASDAQ:ZICA - News), a leading provider of intelligent interface solutions for mobile devices, today announced the deployment of Qix(TM) by T-Mobile on 25,000 Nokia N70 mobile phones. The service will be available on other phone models through the course of 2007.

T-Mobile is initially offering Qix in the UK, and the global agreement with Zi Corporation provides for additional rollouts in other countries covered by T-Mobile.

Qix is an innovative technology that enables rapid discovery of contacts, features, services, and other content on mobile handsets. Zi worked closely with T-Mobile to create a customised Qix experience. All the phones in this rollout include content links (QixLinks), which will allow T-Mobile customers to quickly access their preferred content on T-Zones.

Matthew Dove, T-Mobile UK's Head of Internet & Email Products, said, "T-Mobile is the only network to offer this innovative product to the UK consumer market. Having a tool that will enable users to make the most of their phones will certainly enhance the user experience and the service to our customers."

Qix-enabled phones will be available through T-Mobile retail stores and online at www.t-mobile.co.uk from December 2006, pricing will be dependent on price plan. Qix is offered as a no-cost feature to consumers.

About Qix

Qix is an innovative mobile search and service discovery engine that enables rapid discovery of contacts, features, services and more, on mobile handsets. Qix removes barriers to revenue-producing features on mobile phones by significantly reducing the number of key presses needed to navigate through content. Shares of SciClone Trade Heavily After Promising Data in Skin-Cancer Drug Trial

NEW YORK (AP) -- The following companies showed unusually heavy volume in Friday afternoon trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Higher-than-normal volume can indicate increased activity by institutions such as mutual funds and insurance companies. Upward stock movement on such volume can show higher investor confidence, while selling can signal pressure on a stock.

Shares of SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc., a San Mateo, Calif.-based drug developer, had extraordinarily heavy volume after the company said a trial showed a drug candidate helped patients with skin cancer survive.

Trading volume in SciClone shares surged to 8.5 million shares, compared with the daily average of just 134,000 shares. The stock rose 44 percent to $3.25. The most expensive trade of the day was $4.16, easily breaching the previous 52-week high.

Zi Corp. announced the release of the Qix service for certain T-Mobile and Nokia phones, and the product launch sent the developer of cell phone features' shares into accelerated trading.

Investors bought and sold 1.4 million shares by midday, far higher than the average volume of 62,000 shares. The stock rose 46 percent to $1.37.

Shares of Pinnacle Airlines Corp. surged on heavy volume after the regional airlines signed a contract with Northwest Airlines Inc.

Investors exchanged 4.3 million Pinnacle Airlines shares, compared with the typical volume of 202,000 shares traded on an average day. The stock rose 53 percent to $16.33. Earlier in the session shares hit a new 52-week high of $18.

Shares of Onstream Media Corp. continued trading heavily two days after the on-demand digital media company announced a new on-demand video platform.

Volume reached 5.9 million shares at midday, versus average daily volume of 457,000 shares. The stock rose 2.5 percent to $3.23.

On my radar... could turn out nicely.  Busted through the 3 moving averages (should test the weekly MAs soon).  Being bid up slightly AH... anyone think it'll keep going?  I'm think it'll probably drop a bit and then make another run.

A Falling Wedge over the last 2 years.
Possible reversal in trend.
Broke through the 50-day MA.

The Falling Wedge did reverse.
Now we have a breakout from an Ascending Triangle (continuation) Pattern.
Broke through the 50 and 200-day MA.... and I think it still has some steam left.

Telik Trades More Than Usual After Missing Goals of Late-Stage Trial

NEW YORK (AP) -- The following companies showed unusually heavy volume in Tuesday afternoon trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Higher-than-normal volume can indicate increased activity by institutions such as mutual funds and insurance companies. Upward stock movement on such volume can show higher investor confidence, while selling can signal pressure on a stock.

Trading volume of Telik Inc. increased more than 36 times its usual level, to 24.6 million, after the drug maker said its lead drug candidate did not meet goals of a late-stage trial.

The company's Telcyta cancer drug candidate did not demonstrate statistically significant improvement in overall survival in two late-stage trials of cancer patients, Telik said.

Shares fell $11.41, or 70.2 percent, to $4.84, after earlier trading at a new 52-week low of $4.69.

CTI Industries Corp., which makes decorative balloons, traded 1.2 million shares, compared with usual daily volume of 55,300 shares, on no immediately available news.

Shares added $1.33, or 33.7 percent, to $5.29.

ZI Corp., which makes text-prediction software for wireless handsets, traded more than usual for the second trading day following the launch of its Qix service for certain T-Mobile and Nokia phones.

Investors bought and sold 4.3 million shares by midday, far higher than the average volume of 125,400 shares. The stock rose 97 cents, or 55 percent, to $2.75, and earlier hit a new annual high of $2.83.

PFSweb Inc., a supplier for International Business Machines Corp., traded nine times more than usual, with 1.8 million shares changing hands. About 27 percent of those trades occurred in large blocks, which indicates institutional trading. There was no other immediately available news to explain the accelerated trading.

Shares added 9 cents, or 9.2 percent, to $1.07.

I see a small cup n handle forming on the daily chart, might be one to keep on radar.Im speculating that ZICA might have another nice catalyst coming out of Barcelona after reading about the big European mobile giants aiming to create a mobile phone search engine to challenge YHOO&GOOG.The article mentioned there are 600m combined mobile users among them.Since T-Mobile is among the groups mentioned maybe ZICA will be included in this project?

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 13, 2007 -- Zi Corporation (Toronto:ZIC.TO - News)(NasdaqGM:ZICA - News), a leading provider of intelligent interface solutions, today announced a new version of its award-winning search and discovery engine, Qix(TM). With the addition of several new key features, Qix v1.10 for S60 builds on the proven Average Revenue per User (ARPU) increases and innovation advantages that were validated in field trials last year. The focus on revenue-generating communication services is achieved through the addition of video calling and alternate browser support, as well as through the expansion into mobile content and advertising with QixLinks and QixLinks Ads. Qix is a revolutionary search and discovery engine that enables quick and easy use of a mobile phone's applications and services. It allows users to access the full range of phone features simply and intuitively, all without having to remember where or how to locate them. This simplicity motivates users to find and use revenue-producing features like text messaging more often. Qix complements standard mobile search products.

Zi will be demonstrating this version of Qix on the latest Nokia N-series phones at 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain from February 12 - 15 at Stand C58, Hall 2. To make an appointment please contact Brian Dolby at +44(0)115 948 6901 or email [email protected]

The handle is in and resting on the 20 day ma and on the bottom of a 1 month channel.I consider ZICA to be in an early phase cup n handle consolidation as opposed to a late phase. The cup pattern can also be seen on the weekly chart, which may lend further merit to a valid pattern. Now only needs the breakout on volume.. 8)

Zi Corporation and Marty Steinberg, Receiver for the Lancer Funds, Enter Into Settlement Agreement
Friday February 23, 8:00 am ET

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 23, 2007 -- Zi Corporation (Toronto:ZIC.TO - News) (NasdaqGM:ZICA - News), and Marty Steinberg, solely in his capacity as court appointed receiver (the "Receiver") of Lancer Management Group LLC and certain related entities (the "Lancer Entities"), jointly announced today that they have entered into an agreement (the "Settlement Agreement") to settle any and all outstanding claims and issues between the Receiver, the Lancer Entities and the Corporation.

The settlement is conditioned upon the Receiver securing orders from the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, authorizing the Receiver to execute the Settlement Agreement on behalf of the Lancer Entities. The settlement is also conditioned upon the Alberta Securities Commission dismissing with prejudice Zi's pending action against the Receiver, which dismissal is not expected to be contentious. The date of receipt of such orders and dismissal will be the effective date of the Settlement Agreement (the "Effective Date"). The Effective Date must occur within 120 days of the date of execution of the Settlement Agreement

Pursuant to the Settlement Agreement, as at the Effective Date, the Receiver and the Corporation have agreed to immediately discontinue, with prejudice, all litigation and regulatory proceedings of any kind. In addition, as of the Effective Date, the Receiver, the Corporation and the current and certain former directors of the Corporation have agreed to deliver mutual releases.

Zi Corporation President and Chief Executive Office Milos Djokovic said that the Settlement Agreement with the Receiver brings to a mutually favorable close a difficult and complex issue. "This removes a hurdle we often had to face in our negotiations for new business or financing alternatives," Djokovic added. "We will now be able to devote more of management's time and the Company's resources to the tasks required to grow our business."

The Corporation also acknowledges as of the Effective Date that the Receiver has the power and authority to exercise, on behalf of the Lancer Entities, all rights and privileges with respect to all of the shares in Zi Corporation held by the Receiver.

The Corporation, the Receiver and Michael Lobsinger (who is also a party to the Settlement Agreement) have agreed on a process for nominating directors to be elected at the 2007 Annual General Meeting of the Corporation. The Receiver will be entitled to designate two persons as director nominees and Michael Lobsinger will be entitled to designate two persons as director nominees for election at the 2007 annual general meeting, and continuing through to the nominations for the 2008 Annual General Meeting. These nomination rights could end earlier if share ownership positions of the Receiver or Michael Lobsinger respectively, fall below certain thresholds.

Not less than five and not more than six directors will be proposed for election at the 2007 annual general meeting. The current directors designated for the purposes of the Settlement Agreement as the Receiver's nominees to the board are Donald Moore and Robert Stefanski, and the current directors that are designated for purposes of the Settlement Agreement as Mr. Lobsinger's nominees are Richard Tingle and Donald Hyde. Notwithstanding these designations for the purposes of the Settlement Agreement, each of these directors continues to act as independent directors.

Mr. Lobsinger will resign as a director of the Corporation and all of its subsidiaries on the Effective Date, but will remain as a consultant of the Corporation until December 31, 2007, although he has agreed to provide such services without significant remuneration.

It is intended that the Receiver will make application immediately to obtain the Court orders in order to give full effect to the Settlement Agreement.

I think Wiis have been selling like hot cakes all year.  ZICA would've seen the effects already...how are they related?

Look at NTDOY.pk up in a straight line.  I think .pk ADRs should be kept in this board, they are not penny stocks that is ridiculous.  Nintendo's market cap. is larger than Sony's with 1/10 the revenues.  Its all about the bottom line...

Zi Begins Strategy to Begin Reducing
Operating Losses, Form Handset Agreement
Trading on Zi Corporation (ZICA) was up 14.286% after hitting Monday's
new 52-week low of $0.39. One year ago, the Company's shares
closed at $1.260. The price has declined more than 65 percent since
then. On May 30, 2008, management engaged in a discussion an analysis
for the quarter ended March 31, 2008, stating that in the first quarter
2008, the company announced its second revenue generating agreement
with TELUS, and is also in the process of conducting a trial with
another major carrier. The results of these trials, when completed, will
be used to further market its technology and sign revenue generating
agreements. The implementation of Qix with TELUS is an important
breakthrough, which demonstrates that its technology can be used on a
broad range of handsets, regardless of the operating system. As such,
researcher strategy analytics estimates that over 1.2B handsets may
be sold in 2008. According to the company, dramatic increases in unit
smartphone sales in 2007 are expected to continue into 2008, driven by
consumer spending. However, the company has accumulated a deficit
of $114,757,483 and for the quarter incurred a loss of $1,055,386
from continuing operations. Continuing operations are dependent on Zi
Corp's ability to achieve profitable operations and ability to raise capital.
The company has reduced its losses by reducing operating expenses
and increased revenues, resulting in a reduced net loss from continuing
operations. Zi was also recently successful in establishing, with the Chinese
government's approval, an inter-company royalty program. The
approval improves financial strength, and provides an ongoing mechanism
to access cash accumulated in its Chinese subsidiaries, providing
with more flexibility in managing our cash flows globally.
