Volume has been up the last several days...price spiked a few days back, retreated, and today spiked up again....anybody have an opinion on this stock? :-\
they had launched the website last week,
but todays action looks like a technical breakout rather than news related
I took a small position near end of day at .0027...it tried getting in at .002 and had a problem with my trading platform, it just looked so strong and steady all day, i decided to buy in anyway. at the higher price.
ddi you get in drexler..runforthedoor?
thanks,
julia
I didn't notice it until after hours...because you, Julia, didn't bring it to my attention. ;D
I'll be watching tommorrow though and may join you for the ride....hope it's an uphill ride. ;D
Sorry runforthedoor!!
I know I actually started to try to post it twice, along with a couple of others i was watching today, but, kept getting interrupted....mainly...by myself...cause I was a little frantic today trying to watch too many things and I kept getting side tracked.
I think we should just start a thread of stocks that are moving nicely with volume and price...just more of as a quick alert to other traders to make them aware..and of course add any info if you can or follow up after market close.
Sometimes you don't have alot of time to lose so you just want to put the ticker up with a quick caption..eg up %100, or news out! Moving..something to bring quick attention to it.
I guess we generally do that anyway...but, i will try to make more of an effort posting stocks that i see moving so as to alert day-traders that want a quick flip.
But, don't worry...if you get in...looks like u will probably get a better price then me :)...but, it does look promising so far.
good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
sorry ;D
julia
I'm not in yet Julia, but have it on my watch list
by the way, you had asked me where I was finding upticks and downticks, it's with my power etrade.
I've been trying to find a free website that will give the same info
Oh ya..thanks for remembering Drexler :D
I've looked around before too for that also, but came up with nothing. If you ever stumble upon one that would be great, thanks so much.
We'll see what tomorrow brings...or this week...upticks only please ;D

In the second financing, Oxford entered into a Standby Equity Distribution Agreement for up to $30 million.
Commenting on the recent developments, Daniel Leonard, President & CEO of Oxford, stated, "We have evaluated numerous opportunities for the company and believe that this series of transactions gives our shareholders the best opportunity to maximize returns. ULURU offers exciting potential as it has a developing revenue base and technologies from which significant product opportunities may be developed."

are you folks that started thread in september still in this? wow, from a 50% loss to a 400% profit, congrats if still in.
Oh ya Catrader!!
I finally sold the shares that i was holding when i bought at .0027...sold at .005.
But, this morning on open i picked up more at .002....so sold half, and riding free shares now.
When i saw the merger deal news yesterday after close..i knew it would move nicely...glad it moved this nice ;D
didn't u get some?
I don't know for sure..but, it looks good for more to me...well thats what im hoping anyway.
good luck
julia
gmarc66,
good trading and congrats. i have not been doing too well on picks lately so kind of staying in on the sidelines and since what i bought is a bit underwtaer holding those. did not have chance to get into this. so merger when it happens usually positive or can it have negative effect at times?
Well...I had heard this news was on the way, but decided to wait for it...missed the news and missed the explosion....oh well. ;D Good job Julia!!! ;D
thank you fellas!
I am definitley no expert on how stocks move...but, so far, the few times that a stock has been sitting on the bottom or very low for awhile, sometimes a very long while and had previous highs at some point in its life, and great news like merger comes into play...they seem to fly, so far anyway. So, if u get in on the open..chances are good u r going to make some profits. Then there are important things as well as low float, financials, company fundamentals..duh :D..of course..but, usually i don't even know those details (very bad), so i got lucky on a few of those type of stocks..rnvo, nnnc...owned those way before they ran...never knew they would fly like they did, so got lucky.
Originally i bought oxfv coincidentally before David did, as i saw it running a day or two prior and had jumped in...then of course it dropped. But, david had bought it and he wasn't letting go, so..i held too..thanks David!!
Close was strong, the pullback wasnt huge for the gains it made..so i am anticipating more tomorrow., but i will watch to see how it runs right after open to decide if i want to sell it all, some or hold...we will see!
good luck to everyone!!! I needed a green day...its been blood red for a long long time :)
hangin there catrader!!!
Actually RFTD, i think it was your original post that brought it to my attention!!!!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
APPLAUSE!!
;D :D ;D ;) :) ;D :D ;) :) ;D :D ;) :) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)
julia :) ;) ;D
I see David sold @ .0035....must have had a limit order set there...he did get a 20% profit over his buy price, but missed a few 100% more...but any profit is better than a loss. I watched it awhile after it was up alot...who knows what it will do tommorrow. ;D
Just an FYI, there seems to be alot of attention on other boards in regards to OXFV....so this may continue higher today. I am still holding shares, so I will be watching carefully to try to maximize my profits.
But, please be careful for anyone still holding...i still never trust penny stocks...never know exactly what they will do. However, the interest in OXFV is reassuring, so I am expecting this to do some more...I wonder where it will go? If it does manage to break the .012 that would be great, from there it will be uncharted territory...lets hope for a very green day ;D
Good luck to everyone....lets get us some profits...i'm sure everybody will happily welcome them after experiencing such a bearish market as of late. :)

Mid day news:

ULURU Receives First U.S. Army SBIR Funding; Partnered with University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center to Develop Nanoparticle Aggregate Technology
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 2005--
ULURU INC. ("ULURU") who has signed a definitive merger
agreement with Oxford Ventures, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: OXFV) today
announced the receipt of funding for a Department of Defense SBIR
Phase I Grant award.
The U.S. Army SBIR Program awarded to ULURU funding for the
proposal titled, "Chemical Casualty Care: Hydrogel Nanoparticle
Aggregates as Wound Dressings Following Debridement of Cutaneous
Vesicant Injuries." The Phase I SBIR Proposal has a period of
performance of six months from November 14, 2005 to June 13, 2006.
ULURU is partnered with the Department of Plastic Surgery at the
University of Texas Southwestern Medical School (UTSW) in Dallas. UTSW
will provide preclinical and clinical direction in the development of
this platform nanoparticle aggregate technology as a standard of care
for chemically burned tissue regeneration. The objective of the Phase
I proposal is to achieve an optimal nanoparticle aggregate wound
dressing design based on in vitro and in vivo proof-of-concept
experiments. We believe that our relationship with UTSW maximizes the
potential for advantages of this technology to be translated into
clinical benefits through the design and testing of our technology in
appropriate wound healing models. These studies will compare the
nanoparticle aggregate system with standard dressings. Commenting on
the SBIR award and relationship between UTSW and Uluru, Spencer Brown,
PhD, Director of Research, Nancy Lee & Perry Bass Advanced Wound
Healing Laboratory in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UTSW states
that, "This award provides for the development of a new generation of
wound dressings using Uluru's novel, platform technology. The
materials that provide the best care for surgical patients will be
identified through an advanced, evidence-based process."
In conjunction with UTSW, ULURU has initiated in vivo studies in a
burn-healing model and these data will form the basis for a $1 million
fast-track Phase II SBIR Grant proposal to clinically develop and
demonstrate the efficacy of a wound dressing. Phase II funding will
therefore involve extensive human clinical trials under the guidance
of the Department of Plastic Surgery at UTSW Medical School.
Commenting on the UTSW relationship Kerry P. Gray, President and
CEO of ULURU stated, "We are delighted to be collaborating with the
UTSW Department of Plastic Surgery, which is one of the premier groups
in this field in the United States. We believe that utilizing their
capabilities significantly enhances the potential for the development
of products utilizing our nanoparticle aggregate technology in burn
care, wound management and as dermal fillers."
ULURU Inc. is an emerging specialty pharmaceutical company focused
on the development of a portfolio of topical delivery technologies to
provide patients and consumers improved clinical outcomes through
controlled delivery utilizing its innovative transmucosal delivery
system and Hydrogel Nanoparticle Aggregate Technology.
Well...the news sounded good....then after market close they release news of a R/S coming....great...holding the bag again >:(
glta
julia
Julia...while most big R/S's in pennyland are very bad news....occaisionally there is a good reason behind it. I'm wondering that with OXFV, due to their recent merger/news/etc.... here's a post from another board.....
"OXFV is going to AMEX!? After 400 to 1 reverse split, OXFV share price ($1.6) will meet AMEX listing standard. We have been waiting for this reverse split since 9/13. This is a typical reverse merge. Kerry Gray has 2 investment firms behind."
You may not have such a bad bag here. ;D Tommorrow will be interesting to see how it is received. ;) ;D
well..that's interesting RFTD...guess i will just watch in the am to see what happens.
Can i ask u were from which site u got that quote from?
thanks!
julia :)
julia...its from allstocks.com I guess...I am also watching this tomorrow...keep a watch on L2 for SCHB, NITE and ETRD..decide based on their moves...they control 80%+ of OXFV trades...
