Hey julia ;D I got 3 charts for you. What they show to me is possible support here but no signal until the strong downward channel is broken.
Note: I used Logarithmic charts instead of linear because they showed me a clear technical pattern.
Great! Thanks so much for the awesome charts and updats..and info on them....always trying to learn...thanks for these little tips.
Also, i had no clue there were logarithmic charts ???...very detailed view... and :Dpretty
I will keep this on watch and wait for the downward channel to be broken.
Applause for your assistance! ;D

MBA Holdings, Inc. Announces a Long-Term Motorcycle "Fleet Lease" Program
9/23/05
SCOTTSDALE, AZ, Sep 23, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --
MBA Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: MBAH) and it subsidiary company, Blue Sky Motorcycle Rentals, Inc. announces a long-term "Fleet Lease" program with a large West Coast motorcycle related company. The agreement calls for the unnamed California Company to provide Blue Sky and its affiliate rental operators with up to sixty (60) late-model Harley-Davidson motorcycles for use in their rental outlets.
Terms include a monthly fee with a combined mileage limitation paid by Blue Sky to the Lessor. Lengths of the recurring individual motorcycle leases vary with some extending through April of 2006 so as to include the availability of these bikes for Arizona Bike Week, 2006.
The new agreement was completed by Blue Sky Founder, Wayne (Lumpy) Ordakowski and commences with the first ten (10) units to be pick-up on Monday, September 26th. Wayne (Lumpy) Ordakowski commented, "We were searching for creative ways to increase the number of company controlled rental bikes and this was the perfect option that became available to us. I developed the contacts for this deal over a year ago, but couldn't pull the trigger on it then, as I was a small private company. Now, with the horsepower granted by our public shareholders, I can make these types of deals that are beneficial for all sides. This partnership is an example of the power of a publicly traded company vs. a privately held one, and was one of the main reasons in my decision to join forces with MBAH and its CEO, Gaylen Brotherson months ago. The union is starting to bear fruit and I am excited more, now than ever, about our future." He continued, "The deals in the pipeline we mentioned in earlier press releases are now starting to gain critical mass. They'll be more of these blockbuster type of arrangements in the near future."

MBAH Announces Stock Restructure
Thursday August 4, 9:22 am ET
SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 4, 2005 -- MBA Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB:MBAH.OB - News) announces the restructure of earned common stock.
Gaylen Brotherson, CEO of Cactus Family Investments, and Wayne (Lumpy) Ordakowski, Founder of Blue Sky Motorcycle Rentals, Inc., have placed their cumulative 48.5 million common shares of MBAH stock into an escrow account. Under the terms and conditions of the agreement, Mr. Brotherson and Mr. Ordakowski can only receive their previously earned shares at qualified triggering events.
Share release events are based on sustaining a 15-day average of the daily closing price of MBAH stock. Increments for release of the earned shares are 10% at .10, 10% at .20, 20% at .30, 20% at .40, 20% at .50 and 20% at .60.
Brotherson and Ordakowski have retained their rights to immediately receive their shares, without restriction, in the event of a verified/certified takeover, buyout or merger bid of the majority of the outstanding shares of MBAH stock.
Wayne (Lumpy) Ordakowski commented on the restructure, "We have listened to our Shareholders and believe not only is this the right thing to do, but hopefully we'll increase investor confidence by setting aside our shares. I'm here for the long run and I'll do whatever it takes to help build this company."
Gaylen Brotherson, CEO of MBAH, stated, "We are all here for the long run, and I believe MBAH stock is severely undervalued at our present share price. With actions like these, I'm anticipating the market will react favorably. One of our missions is to increase sales and the other is to build Shareholder value that will in turn build company value. We effectively removed 48.5 million of the outstanding shares of the company today by locking them up in this restructure. It is another incentive for us to build this company into the powerhouse I believe it can be."
Brotherson continued, "We completed the Blue Sky Las Vegas and Phoenix store acquisitions and also shored up a few deals we've been working on for months. We'll announce those in the near future."
"Safe Harbor" statement under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995: Except for the historical information contained herein, the matters discussed in this press release are forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties, including but not limited to business conditions and the amount of growth in the insurance or associated automotive industries and general economy, competitive factors, and other risks detailed from time to time in the company's SEC reports, including but not limited to its annual report on Form 10-K and its quarterly reports on Forms 10-Q. I'm in ....EliteG, put your wizard spell on it ;D
had to pay .o4 to get in but will be spending my winter holiday this year on one of those
2006 1800 goldwings
I would love MBAH to continue straight up ;) but the probability is high that it may retrace a bit today, imo, due to its recent climb above the BB(bollinger bands) into a doji candle.
The quality of the pullback will allow us to judge if this play has any merit and to add shares. I would like to see no penetration of .030 during the day and a close above .033. A close above .036 and I have to say that is extremely bullish and we should zoom higher this week.
Any pullback that does not penetrate .030 I would consider in G2 of the G-pattern. That would put the G-spot @ .040~.042. With a g-pattern projected target of .080! 8)
But who knows we could just zoom higher. >:D
Holding .036...I'm in. ;D
Looks like we're in Phase Two. Closed at .036 and didn't go lower than .035. We're in good shape.
i agree fellas ;) lookin solid 8)
I take it frome EliteG's rundown of things for us we are in nice shape. ;D
Did you put that wizard spell on for us? ;)
Let's Rock and Roll!!! 8)
Charting is helpful to determine buy and sell points, but the fundamental decision whether to watch, trade or buy&hold or sell definitely should be done with a more basic DD.

I left my house today somewhat disappointed and having regrets. But when I came home I was very happily suprised.
I am out here...no volume today...may still go if some news or whatever drives it. I will watch it and hope for the best for all still in....downside does look minimal, but I'm moving on for now. ;D
from my entry in the .02s i have also sold out in the high .03's earlier - but i do believe it is based and will start a climb back up, however with recent dilution pushing them up to 190million i think the MM are going to keep it in an accumulation cycle for awhile. (not to say these swings down here at this range can't be made for huge profits, i just wouldn't be a pig like when MBAH first ran....)
I'll be watching close for any indicators that they will pop it. Also i remember reading about the company having an escrow account and wont' sell shares under .1.... here is that news link http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/050804/092415.html

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 3, 2005 -- MBA Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB:MBAH.OB - News) and its subsidiary companies, Blue Sky Motorcycle Rentals, Inc. and the National Motorcycle Dealers Association (NMDA), announce a new rental Licensee in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Top Spoke Rentals located inside of, and owned by Hacienda Harley-Davidson, has executed a definitive agreement that calls for the NMDA and Blue Sky to provide immediate top level management of their current Harley-Davidson Authorized Rental Program. Top Spoke will also become a Licensee of Blue Sky Motorcycle Rentals and carry the Blue Sky flag.
Hacienda Harley-Davidson and Top Spoke Rentals owner Rick Hatch commented, "I have personally seen what Street Eagle Tim Lach, Blue Sky Lumpy and MBAH CEO Gaylen Brotherson can do with their combined experience in the motorcycle rental market and also what they bring to the bottom line. I have witnessed firsthand their desire and resolve to build the Nation's largest rental program. Currently, our Hacienda operations in Harley sales, service, merchandise, clothing and Custom motorcycles grosses over 30 million dollars a year, and now I know we'll increase our rental revenue to add to that total with Hacienda Harley's addition to the programs and websites offered by Blue Sky, Street Eagle, Worldwide Rentals, Rent2Ride and the NMDA."
Wayne (Lumpy) Ordakowski, Founder of Blue Sky, said of the new agreement, "This alliance with Hacienda Harley-Davidson allows us (Blue Sky and MBAH) to move forward into a higher level of business. To be partnered with one of the country's largest Harley-Davidson dealers was one of our original primary objectives. Now, future deals of this magnitude and type are available to us. We've built the foundation, now we'll build the walls."
Tim Lach of Street Eagle -- Kauai, Hawaii, commented, "The long-standing relationships within our network have bore fruit once again. Having been a part of the very first rental program in the Harley-Davidson enthusiast market, I have seen many positive and impacting changes take place over the years. Hacienda Harley-Davidson and Top Spoke Rentals in Scottsdale, AZ., has been on the forefront of this curve since 1999. Rick Hatch's vision for a World-Class dealership that encompasses the Fly-and-Ride concept partnered with the Rent It, Ride It, Buy It theory has been the mark of excellence and a model for all motorcycle/powersports dealers considering similar programs. The implementation of the NMDA's forward thinking team will undoubtedly produce results far beyond the "within the box" potential of competing rental/sales programs throughout the industry. I could not be more pleased that our efforts over the last 15 years have come to land in Scottsdale, within one of the finest dealership environments that exists anywhere."
"This partnership with one of the top ten revenue producing Harley-Davidson US dealerships is a multi-faceted opportunity for both sides. Many facets will come to fruition in the upcoming days, weeks, months and even years!" said Gaylen Brotherson, CEO of MBAH. He continued, "The big picture is coming together. We had a few bumps along the way, but now we all move forward swiftly, and united. As I speak, and in the very near term, other dealer licensing and large manufacturer sponsored programs are being completed. We'll announce those to our Shareholders as we implement them. This is an exciting time for MBA and its subsidiary companies right now as we carry the momentum these deals provide into profitability."
"Safe Harbor" statement under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995: Except for the historical information contained herein, the matters discussed in this press release are forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties, including but not limited to business conditions and the amount of growth in the insurance or associated automotive industries and general economy, competitive factors, and other risks detailed from time to time in the company's SEC reports, including but not limited to its annual report on Form 10-K and its quarterly reports on Forms 10-Q. can you explain that statement doyer? why are you considering a dividend payment a dilution? they are not issuing more shares...

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2004--MBA Holdings (OTCBB: MBAH) will pay its shareholders a stock dividend equal to one share of its common stock for each 100 shares of MBA Holdings Inc. held. The stock dividend will be payable to shareholders of record Friday, Nov. 26, 2004. The board of directors declared the stock dividend at its meeting Nov. 12, 2004.
Looking at the two previous stock splits this company has had, it looks the the split drives the price up before hand, and after the split the stock drops substantially. I'm not EliteG so take my observations for what they're worth.
I also have a general question. When I check MBAH on Scottrade, the bid is .051 and the ask is .057. Does this mean there was a large sell-off after hours, or is the information just faulty (as it often is for Scottrade on small stocks)?

If what you say is true about the previous "dividends" driving up the price beforehand and then dropping after, then we have more than a month of rise left ;) since dividend is close to end of November..
A dividend like that I think would have to drop the price after or the market cap would rise dramatically... not a fundamental guy but i believe
mkt cap = outstanding shares * price unless perhaps this is a good way for a big investor to pick up shares quietly before a news item(just some speculation) right after a dividend.

I also have a general question. When I check MBAH on Scottrade, the bid is .051 and the ask is .057. Does this mean there was a large sell-off after hours, or is the information just faulty (as it often is for Scottrade on small stocks)?
the
after hours bid/ask on most stocks is usually garbage but I find this is especially so on the OTCBB market. So no worries.

We had a great Day EliteG.
Maybe it can zoom zoom towards that 200-day MA. ;D
Great day and a great close 8) MBAH rockin!
I have been watching MBAH for over a year, having been in for the run a year ago. Some answers to a few of the questions that have been posed on this board:
No one really trades MBAH outside the normal trading hours. There were a few hundred thousand shares that were bought at the ask today towards the close-the MM's shifted up, and the buyer chased the ask up to 5.7 cents. However, the MM who has been sitting on the bid most of the day, NITE, did not follow the ask. If I remember correctly, the B/A at close was 54/57, but NITE shifted down to 5.1 shortly after close. NITE has been buying blocks at the bid for a couple of weeks, and has been willing to make the seller chase the bid, provided other MM's stay out of the way. So that explains the B/A spread a/h. Tomorrow I expect MM's to start the day at 54/55 or so, unless many buy orders are placed prior to the market opening.
During the last run, there was a large trading group pumping the stock into high heaven. The fellows convinced a bunch of naive investors to order stock certificates in order to cut down MM shorting, among other tactics used by the trading group to prop up the price as their shares were dumped. A lot of the dumping occurred around the date of the dividend, so the price sagged from there as the trading group dumped and stopped pumping.
Many have speculated there have been large short positions over the past few months that precipitated the drop seen over said time period. Perhaps management has heard shareholder concerns and decided to act on them. Personally, I believe any short positions were covered at the triple bottom. However, it appears less gimmicky as it falls in the same time period of the last dividend, so it may simply be a continuation of a yearly tradition-no harm in that.
EliteG: Yes, the market cap = #of shares*price/per share. However, the net increase in shares is only .5%, so there should not be a fundamental change of note to accommodate the increase in shares, given the stock's pattern of +/-10% swings during a given trading day. Also, I believe that big investors made their bets during the last few months. If you've been watching the stock minute-to-minute, you have seen how tightly shares are held down, given the large increases in price on any buying interest.
I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on your plans of trading MBAH. If this run is anything like last year's, I would not be able to trade it. I use ameritrade and have to wait 5 days per flip. Last year, every consolidation period during the mega-run lasted, at most, 3 days.
Hey redmercury, Welcome to 3stocksonfire.
First off great post.. lots of good info
Gotta applaud - this brings your rating up 1 and you will have the ability to applaud/smite I believe after 50 posts ;)

I wasn't watching the lvl 2 on
MBAH at the close but this seems like common MM behavior. Nevertheless it makes the chart look hot.. and traders may be watching very closely.

Man 5 days for a flip? Ouch.
I bought in @ .32 on 9/23, sold out and then bought back in and am up around 55% on the trade. I rarely hold a penny for so long but I felt gmarc really brought this up at the perfect moment(applaud again, thx Julia). If you look on page 1 of this thread I drew up the downward channel on some charts... and then wham it was broken that day, very nice timing. 8)
I always sell in parts so I will probably sell a part on our super mega volume day which I think is comin up(tomorrow we may get it as we race to the 200 like hawkeye Setravis pointed out ;)).. I could not recommend an entry till
MBAH consolidates and breaks with volume again since I am a technical/momentum trader unless you feel comfortable buying on a pullback to the 20 ema.
I see what you pointed out about this run being similar to the one almost exactly a year ago. Interesting.. definately something to watch.

Thanks Elite! I may have brought it up but, once i got the thumbs up from u and Setravis, that's all i needed to jump in, so THANK YOU GUYS!! ;D Actually, almost sold it recently as I bought it at .38...but Setravis told me to hold...So, I held! And now I am happy!! Thanks Setravis!
But, just to get this clear, u expect a run tomorrow perhaps...maybe to .80 ish (200 MA)..then it will drop and consolidate for a day to a week or so(G2), then it may turn into a G-3 and blow...to at least 100% from .32 approximately...am i getting this right?
Hope u recovered completely from your flu/cold and are feeling 100% now! :)
Thanks very much and good luck to everyone ;D
julia
woops I meant .032 was my buy area :) i think that might clear up some confusion Julia ;) :D
feel much better thanks, glad setravis kept u in ;D
Hi Elite!
Glad to hear u r feeling better ;)
No, actually..i didnt even notice the missing zero...i know i often do that with sub-pennies when I'm writing about them, lets pretend in my post i did include the zeros and the prices were in line with current price zones, ...so the questions are still the same.
Is it correct what i was questioning? (assuming the zeros are there, just an oversight on my part as well)?
thanks!!
hey did u know that david is looking at MBAH as a 3sf portfolio pick ;D
julia
Good morning gmarc :)
QuoteBut, just to get this clear, u expect a run tomorrow perhaps...maybe to .80 ish (200 MA)
yes.. I know thats a big gain but I would not be surprised with action like that.. its sort of like the ultimate destination for MBAH and perhaps just the start of a journey.
Quote..then it will drop and consolidate for a day to a week or so(G2), then it may turn into a G-3 and blow...to at least 100% from .32 approximately...am i getting this right?
Never said that but it would be really cool to see a similar run as last year around this time(or even half or a quarter of that run :D)
Quotehey did u know that david is looking at MBAH as a 3sf portfolio pick ;D
that is big news ;D that makes you think .08 is a pretty low target :D
so anyone else doin the 3 white candle higher volume happy dance?
MBAH kick some @$$! :o
I'm dancing right beside you elite!!!
Do you think its safe to pick up more at this point?
thanks
julia
;)
Well I believe David added it today so one could definately say yes.. since my time horizon is different I could not enter here. I am not willing to stay with a penny for as long as David plays because I play with a higher % of my portfolio. For me I would need another consolidation and a break of that to enter again.
So it depends upon your time frame.
Good Trading and Dancing :D
Good morning everyone. I just got back to my office.
Been out taking care of other things.
We are looking good....zoom...zoom...zoom....Let's Rock and Roll...EliteG...Julia!!!!!! :o
Make some $$$$$$$ ;D ;)
Real Nice....closing in on the 200-day MA...CLOSER AND CLOSER 8)
What typically happens when a stock crosses its 50/20 dma?
Or, more specificially: what can I expect to happen to MBAH?
Up and moving after yesterday's profit taking.
Nice move for MBAH 13.00% ...
i really think these spikes hold less punch currently, the o/s is now stretching 190mill as anticipated last fall. the fact is that there is much more shares at play here then when it was dancing around .25+ last year.
This aside i can say MBAH looks to have traded technically perfect from it's inception, a good case review as to how an OTC stock should come to market, along with the monster % on both sides of the play for the knowledgeable player. Also if this baby does run to the glory days again, wow what a show it will be to watch ;)
More news on the dividend:

MBAH Announces Stock Dividend Plan
SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/19/05 -- MBA Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: MBAH) announces
details of its 1:200 stock dividend scheduled for November 25th, 2005.
The MBAH Board of Directors accepted and approved a proposal by MBAH CEO
Gaylen Brotherson that calls for Mr. Brotherson to return the same amount
of his personal escrowed shares to replace what the company issues for the
1:200 November 25th stock dividend.
The Brotherson Share Return Plan will be completed immediately following
the 1:200 stock dividend that will be issued to Shareholders of record on
November 25th, 2005. The Company has voted and approved the equivalent
share return to the Company treasury from Mr. Brotherson.
Brotherson commented, "We've had extraordinary news lately with even more
to come. I felt it was in the Company's and our Shareholders' best
interest to replace the dividend shares with equivalent shares that I'll be
returning to the treasury, thus maximizing the market effect the 1:200
stock dividend provides."

Don't forget -- the dividend of extra shares was awarded to holders on record as of 11-26-05. So, not only would the share price move downward, as with normal dividends, but it looks like a bunch of people sold ... as speculated upon before, it is likely people held tight to get the dividend, but after getting the extra shares there was less reason to hold... result: selloff.
Anyway, keep this in mind when looking at these large price moves... the share dividend on 11-26 had a lot to do with it.
if it breaks .02 here could look good
anyone watching?
Just entered the trade, I'll be in tomorrow morning.
After falling MBAH always comes back doing 50-100 % :D
