Guess I sold too early.
Tsk! Tsk!
I should always follow my sell signal.
But stock was up 800% already.
Better exit next time.
got at 0.0 45 and 0.055 - it was 45 cents recently so maybe can do it again??
Gee suz!
It's up 1400% now.
All I had to do is look in front of me.
Walls are full of charts with the same pattern.
Shit! Shit! Shit!
Good luck to your trade Metro.
This is a day trade for my part so I have to sell today.
I just didn't hit the top. Frustrating when I kept telling
myself to hold and don't sell yet and wait for the signal.
Anyway good luck to you again.
:o :o :o ;D
Ouch!!!
You made a profitable trade and that is the goal. We can never sell at the tops so not important as portfolios build from consistent gains not hitting the top.
If you are ever in doubt and want to sell but want to keep - then sell part and keep some with a stop. Locking in some early gains keeps your win rate higher.
You made 50% so that is fantastic - great job.
Metro-
That is why I don't buy stocks that will make me 800%, because I will always be angry that I did not make 900%. I'm sure there will be others (not in this lifetime tho).
And I was happy STV was up 4%. Shheeesh!
But at 800%, you are the "Trader of the Day"

I am curious as to what trading signal software everybody is using? I am looking for signal software or subscription currently.
Thank you
Wowzers... I don't know anything about this one - congrats to those who made some momo money. I reckon I'll list this as a G1 in my research and keep an eye on it.
Hello all,
Never seen anything like this...
I'm sitting on the sidelines, but did see allot of buying pressure towards the close.
From what I gather about 58 million shares, & market cap of 7-8 million.
Looks to me the momo may not be over....
Any thoughts on Monday or a quick swing trade?
Peace
This one is just great - found support yesterday and tested today then ran up 50% - sure not like 1,500% from last time but loaded up with a lot more shares now knowing where support was... nice day for sure
I've noticed that the last several days...when it gets to .04 or a tad below, the buying kicks in...today it ran from there to .06 plus in the last half hour...I hope it continues to go up and down in this range for a few years. ;D
It's dropping again...might be another buy in the .04 range for a late day surge. ;D
EXPLODING ;D

UP 190% at .05 now...... the last time it took off a few weeks ago it went to .17 before imploding....can it do it again??????? ;D
Nice pick Ouch!!!,
Looks like it is trying to make some noise again.
Applaud your work.
On September 23rd GLIF.OB rose 1200% (from $0.01 to $0.13) because of this news:
Grant Life Sciences Awarded Patent for Vital Components of Blood-Based Cervical Cancer Test (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/050922/225863.html?.v=1)
Today it rose 135% (from $0.017 to $0.04) on this news:
Grant Life Sciences Expects to Begin Generating Revenues from Sales of its Rapid Tests for Malaria and Dengue Fever Before Year's End (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/051024/245725.html?.v=1)
Volume was much higher today than on the last rise, which tells me the stock price will go above the previous high of $0.131, so I see at least a 225% rise over the short term.
There's no doubt there will be plenty of speculation on this $2.34M micro cap stock.
From the news:
«MURRAY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 24, 2005-- Grant Life Sciences (OTC Bulletin Board: GLIF - News) announced today that it expects to begin generating revenues this year, possibly within 30 days, on sales of its rapid tests for Malaria and Dengue Fever. These products, along with rapid tests for HIV-1 and HIV-2, were acquired earlier this year from AccuDx Corp., a biotechnology company based in La Jolla, Calif., founded by Ravi Pottahil, Ph.D., one of the world's leading authorities in the field of HIV/AIDS diagnostics and therapeutics.»
I will buy 10% of the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio on this penny stock at tomorrow's open.
Bought GLIF.OB @ $0.046 for the 3Pennies Portfolio.
Wow, what a drop :o
Not really. That's the whole point of penny stocks, volatility. ;)
Ouch, down 30% overnight!
Yes, and on Sept 23. +1200% overnight. That's how these pennies/micropennies work. That's why you should only play these if you're willing to take the risk/volatility, and with a small part of your portfolio.
Hi David,
Can you put your analysis for this stock? I was waiting for your opinion ( Words of wisdom) :D

I have money in GLIF, and now I see that there are warrants issued for up to 196 million shares at .011. No wonder the volume is higher and it didn't move very much... ack. I don't know whether or not to cut my losses now (~20%), or hope for a miracle...... any thoughts/ideas?
I have money in GLIF too.
where did you get the information that 196million shares issued at .011?

"The Notes bear interest at 10%, mature three years from the date of issuance, and are convertible into our common stock, at the Investors' option, at a conversion price equal to the lower of (i) $0.40 or (ii) 50% of the average of the three lowest intraday trading prices for our common stock during the 20 trading days before, but not including, the conversion date. As of August 30, 2005, the average of the three lowest intraday trading prices for our common stock during the preceding 20 trading days as reported on the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board was $0.021 and, therefore, the conversion price for the secured convertible notes was $0.011.
Based on this conversion price, the $2,000,000 Notes, excluding interest, were convertible into 190,476,189 shares of our common stock. "
You have to dig... I jumped ship today and took a 20% loss on most of my GLIF holdings (still holding a few, for what reason, I do not know... maybe wishful thinking). Can someone correct me if I am reading the above incorrectly? For instance, there is a statement later on in the filing that states that the investors agree not to gain control of over 5% of the company... I wonder how that will work if they obtain 190 mil shares...(?) Does this mean they will have to sell the shares immediately, or that they will limit the rate of note conversion?
If someone with more experience reading these things could check it out, it would be much appreciated by several people, I'm sure!

http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=1374.990
Good morning !
owen654321, I read that excerpt too, and it's incomprehensible. Information is contradictory, they say the notes have a 3 year maturity and next they say they were already converted. They talk about warrants convertible to 7,692,308 shares and then 190,476,189.
At the end, they say this: «The Investors have contractually agreed to restrict their ability to convert the Notes and exercise the Warrants and receive shares of our common stock such that the number of shares of the Company common stock held by them and their affiliates after such conversion or exercise does not exceed 4.99% of the Company's then issued and outstanding shares of common stock.»
There are two ways to clarify this issue. One is to write the company's investor relations, the other is to read the entire agreement, which would take me about 2 hours, I believe.
I don't have time for that, at least not now (maybe over the weekend). Do you want me to copy paste the entire agreement?
I'm finding these penny stocks much harder to analyze and trade than regular stocks :P
I see a 35% loss in just 2 days on GLIF.OB, and looking at the chart, it looks like the stock barely moved ... and no technical damage was made !
Very far from perfect information I have to trade with what I got, and that is the revenue expectation from the company before the year end and a bullish chart.
I wonder if Pink Sheets aren't better than OTCBB stocks ... but there I can't even find the market cap, how can one trade without that basic information?
I will continue holding GLIF.OB, though.
Going up.....post from another board may add fuel today. ;D

update on GLIF
GLIF closed @ .035 forming an inverse hammer which does not confirm nor deny the bullish reversal nature of the hammer of the previous day. We did break the high of the hammer(.036) and (.040) intraday. Maybe GLIF followed the heavy downturn by biotechs (NVAX, GNBT, HEB, SVA, AOB..). In the end it was up 9.37% so thats good :) GLIF is forming a little pennant or symmetrical triangle here.
My personal opinion about the chart is that GLIF will be forced out of this consolidation within 3 days. That direction should make for a strong move since after consolidation(contraction) comes expansion. I believe that direction will be up and I believe the wait will be worth it.
We got a solid underlying story and technicals.. on this low cap stock. Lets see if we can get a move/News tomorrow.
Thanks for posting elite-G's analysis la-onda, it saves me some work since I basically agree with him.
It looks like the stock is making a base for a positive breakout whenever those revenue news hit the wires. Just a $2M market cap, so this thing can make a huge run up. I hope so, I'll continue holding it.
Glif...going up...17% now....need more volume to boost it into the breakout zone. Everyone please donate to the cause. ;D
While waiting for the revenue news the stock rose 14% yesterday, nice, but I still have a loss >:(
This Penny Stock trading is much harder than I thought. Anyway, I'll continue to do it since I believe I'm learning a lot about fundamental analysis trading and analyzing these micro cap stocks, while I'm risking a very small principal.
The 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio has $267,148 and the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio just $13,478, about 20 times less money.
Coming back to GLIF.OB, encouraging technical signals yesterday, I'll continue holding this penny stock.
This is easy. The company said it will have revenues before the year end, but it came down almost to where it was before those news. Now I'll just have to wait for the actual news and then evaluate them.
wow what a trade bought 0.040 some days ago....sold at 0.057. That s a 42% return. I take it !
GLIF up 30% plus today...volume increasing.....looking very good...BULLISH chart.. could be more bags to come from here. ;D
Hi David
Recent spike today already has some members selling. Do you think according to you're last post that this stock will go higher than the spike it's had today when news is released. What do you think price might hit when news is released about revenues.
Goodluck trading :)
Im not selling until I get guidance from David, you got to let your winners run !!
Unfortunately, I've learned the hard way on pennies that you have to take some profits when you have them. I've seen huge gains evaporate quickly when I was certain holding onto everything I had was the right thing to do. That said, I sold half my GLIF holdings at 100% so I'm riding on free money now. I won't sell what's left until David tells me. ;) And if it pulls back, you better believe that I will put some of my earnings back into it!
I'm with you Basonista, exact same situation. I closed out at 0.60, now I'm kicking myself after reading that no one else is selling! Did I screw up? Should I try to buy again in the morning? Arghh! ???
Irod,
This was an EliteG pick before David picked it up. It's very actively discussed there although the discussion has gotten a little corny. ;) :D That's OK thought, all in good fun and profits. >:D Check it out.
I am learning not to chase stocks and I am hoping on a pullback on GLIF so I can put some of my profits back in. Everyone thinks and the chart points to GLIF having a lot of upside left to it. Personally, if I had just found these threads and had to decide myself, I would probably nibble a little and take a small position either adding to it on pullback to support or when it breaks resistance levels. But nothing big to start in case it does pullback. The chart looks great though! >:D
Looking at past break outs, it's possible it may go higher today but it's more likely to come down and consolidate a bit before the next run. So you will probably be able to get it for a cheaper price, it just may go higher first. ;D
haha...it may go up, it may go down, doesn't that help?
Jody
Haha! That's funny. It does help though, I feel less bad for selling now. :)

hi irod,
i am learning never to chase a stock, especially if i am emotional about it. i lost too many like that. the best thing is to have a plan and stick to it because the great thing about the market, which i am finding out about ( and i am very much a newbie ) is there is always another opportunity to come your way. i got out at .06 because of my new disipline of "locking in profits" (50% gain) and because i am new at this i am watching ,listening and learning . but i always have to stick to my own plan even if that plan changes. hope this is ok.
thanks everyone at 3sof,
i would have lost ALL my money if it wasn't for you guys,
maxi
You should never feel bad for making a profit! It was a good decision selling ...at least for yesterday. I sold 3/4's of my position at .058 for nice gains and may possibly buy back again today if it dips.
Good lucky and happy trading.
Jody
David,
Where are the updates for the penny stock portfolio. There hasn't been any updates in the penny stock portfolio, since early Wednesday morning. You didn't forget about the little guys, did ya ;)
Guess you did not read your update newsletter yet ::)
"Below there are the updates for all the stocks held on the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio. I have to go lunch with my grandma now, but over the afternoon (morning in the US) I'll be updating the penny stocks. I need to make a more fundamentally based update on pennies today (you know how hard that is, they have so many little tricks behind the scenes) because there will be some changes over the weekend with this portfolio.
I won't be making daily updates for pennies anymore (just for the Stocks held on the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio), updating the analysis just when needed, according to many recommendations from our subscribers. Some of them even said we should end the 3 Pennines on Fire Portfolio, because it is very hard to trade pennies, even more when we're now 329 investors looking at them, with such low liquidity. Since my work will be less on pennies, we will introduce a surprise over the weekend that I know you'll enjoy, much more than the daily updates on pennies. Since it is a surprise, you have to wait for the weekend (I don't know if it's going to be on Saturday or Sunday) to know what it is."
For the record. I'm not one of the members that says we should end it. I do not need analysis everyday, b/c I agree they are hard to analyse. But still pennies still are the ones tht make the baggers ::) ::) ::)
Looking at GLIF I think a lot of profit taking took place yesterday. Considered myself but wasn't there at the opening of the market. Looking at all the information we have I still trust it will be noticed more and more. I'm holding on to GLIF
And David, hope the 3POF will continue. We can take turns doing updates when needed! I'm up for it :)

Please don't end the 3POF portfolio. :( If it wasn't for it I'd be in the red right now!
Hope the surprise is not a shorting portfolio, I'm really not interested in risking my money that way and looking for failiures instead of winners. And I think the unlimited risk potential of shorts is just not suitable for a board like this with so many inexperienced members and new traders. One mistake and you can ruin yourself.
David,
I am very interested in continuing the 3 pennies on fire board too!
It is a different board than the 3SOF board, but much more adrenalin too!! ;D
Ohad
I dont think we need to end 3POF as WWAT, HQSM, HYRF, BRVO( it would have been in this category .ob) are its major hits. I think we can streamline the price ranges in the POF such as 3 pennies of 0.01 - 0.03 3 pennies of 0.3 - 0.5 range.

I haven't received an e-mail update in a couple days. Something must be wrong I will e-mail them.
If you want end the penny stock portfolio that is up to you, but instead of a whole portfolio you should include only the best of the best when you find them in the regular 3SOF portfolio, similar to before and possibly limit the price to stock over a specific price (.05 or above) with a ceratain amount of volume.

The 3 POF won't end, it will continue, hopefully forever. It's just that I won't be making daily updates, just when there's some important news or when I buy or sell penny stocks.
No, the surprise isn't a short portfolio, that wouldn't be much fun ... it is another thing to help small investors, since the 3 Stocks on Fire is now a $265,000 portfolio, and probably that's above the trading capital of the majority of our users.
But just wait and see, news about this tomorrow.
Please, anyone not receiving the daily newsletter, please send an e-mail to
[email protected] saying that. Ramsburg will solve the problem.
Considering GLIF.OB, I didn't knew eliteG picked it before I did, but that's great, it improves the chances of success of this penny trade.
Everybody is expecting these news:
Grant Life Sciences Expects to Begin Generating Revenues from Sales of its Rapid Tests for Malaria and Dengue Fever Before Year's End (http://www.marketwatch.com/tools/quotes/newsarticle.asp?siteid=mktw&sid=1866803&guid=%7BD2062C03%2D614B%2D4CA5%2D8A07%2D520C69DDEC59%7D&symb=)
With just $3.04M in market cap, a biotech company showing revenues numbers (there are a lot of medium size biotech companies, with market caps higher than $100M, without any revenues) seems to be something we can speculate on.
Before the year end the news will hit the wires and then we'll analyze to know how to react to them.
Good luck to all those holding, myself included ;)
I for one would not be very happy if we got rid of 3SF pennies...that's all i trade!
Glad to hear it will not eliminated...phew!
Well..i'm still holding my GLIF...hopefully its still looking good for more soon. :D
thanks very much,

Grant Life Sciences begins generating revenues from sales of its rapid-test product family licensed from AccuDx
Business Editors / Health/Medical Writers
MURRAY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2005--
Grant Life Sciences (OTC Bulletin Board: GLIF) announced
today that it has shipped its first order of Malaria rapid diagnostic
tests, to India.
This product, along with rapid tests for Dengue Fever, HIV-1 and
HIV-2, among others, was licensed earlier this year from AccuDx Corp.,
a biotechnology company based in La Jolla, Calif., founded by Ravi
Pottahil, Ph.D., one of the world's leading authorities in the field
of HIV/AIDS diagnostics and therapeutics. Grant Life Sciences owns the
exclusive rights to AccuDx's rapid tests.
"We previously announced that we expected to start generating
revenues from our AccuDx product family before year's end, and we are
extremely pleased to be on schedule," said Dr. Hun-Chi Lin, President
and Chief Scientist at Grant Life Sciences. "While this initial order
totaling $75,000 is admittedly small, nonetheless it is evidence that
we are executing our strategy to revitalize AccuDx's distributor
networks in overseas markets," added Dr. Lin. "While we expect
revenues to continue to increase, seasonal fluctuations due to the
nature of specific diseases will effect monthly sales. For example,
Malaria and Dengue Fever are highly seasonal diseases. However, to
offset seasonal fluctuations, we plan on broadening our family of
diagnostic tests utilized at both the point-of-care as well as in the
laboratory setting.
"It is also very important to note that we plan on continuing to
develop our rapid diagnostic for Cervical Cancer," said Dr. Lin. "The
Company's goal is to have a global distributorship network in place,
along with the requisite manufacturing capacity, so that we can begin
selling our core product, the immunological serum-based test for
detecting Cervical Cancer and its precursors, as soon as it is ready
for commercialization," Dr. Lin concluded.
"We are pleased, of course, that we are executing our plan to
generate revenues from our products in specialty diagnostic markets
outside of the U.S., in order to provide us with some of the resources
necessary to move forward with the clinical validation of our rapid
test for detecting cervical cancer," added Stan Yakatan, Chairman of
Grant Life Sciences
About Grant Life Sciences Inc.
Grant Life Sciences Inc. develops products to improve the
efficiency of detecting and diagnosing cervical cancer, including a
sensitive, reliable, non-invasive, point-of-care test. The diagnostic
assay being developed by the Company has initial clinical validation
indicating superior sensitivity and specificity in detecting cervical
cancer and its precursors, a disease that kills in excess of 300,000
women annually. Currently there are more than 120 million cervical
screening tests administered annually in the U.S. and Europe. More
than 120 million eligible women 20+ years old in developed nations
still do not get Pap smears, and globally more than 1.7 billion over
the age of 20 have never been checked due to cultural, religious or
economic reasons. Further information is available at:

eggman11, your e-mail has some kind of problem, Ramsburg e-mailed you several times. We've been sending the newsletter everyday. You're not receiving e-mails from the 3stocksonfire.org mail server, possibly it goes to your junk mail box or something. Please check it out.
GLIF.OB has many financial problems, as most business development companies and penny stocks do. But, it is starting to generate revenues just this 4th quarter and the market cap is below $2M. Even if this number more than doubles because of conversions, it would still be just a $5M market cap, for a very small biotech company starting slowly to generate revenues.
The company has enough money to continue as a going concern for now. If it doesn't fail it will have huge upside.
The risk reward equation here is: you can lose 100% if everything fails. And you can win 5000% if everything goes well. That's why I invested just about $1,000 and will continue holding.
More like implosive penny pick. i feel like im getting Gliffed hard. and not in a good way. i hope todays move was to accumulate before the big push to .25 that MarketMakerz was talking about. However, it is also listed on Buyins Naked short list.

ket -- Dreaming IS allowed, in my world. Got a few of my own. :D Thanks for the update.
Today we got a Dragonfly Doji :D
The Bullish Dragonfly Doji Pattern is a single candlestick pattern that occurs at the bottom of a trend or during a downtrend. The Bullish Dragonfly Doji Pattern is very similar to the Bullish Hammer Pattern mentioned above. The distinction between the two is if there is a body or not. In case of Bullish Dragonfly Doji Pattern, the opening and closing prices are identical and there is no body. On the other hand the Bullish Hammer Pattern has a small real body at the upper end of the trading range.
Recognition Criteria:
1. There is an overall downtrend in the market.
2. Then we see a Doji at the upper end of the trading range.
3. The doji has an extremely long lower shadow.
4. However the doji does not have any upper shadow.
Explanation:
The market is in an overall bearish mood characterized by a downtrend. Then market opens and sells off sharply. However, the sell-off is suddenly abated and the prices reverse direction and start going up for the rest of the day closing at or near the day's high thus leading to the long lower shadow. The failure of the market to continue in the selling side reduces the bearish sentiment. Now the shorts are increasingly uneasy with their bearish positions. If the market opens higher next day, many shorts will have a strong incentive to cover their short positions.
Important Factors:
The Bullish Dragonfly Doji Pattern is a more bullish signal than a Bullish Hammer Pattern. Its reliability is also higher than the Bullish Hammer Pattern.
However, a confirmation of the trend reversal implied by this pattern by either a white candlestick, a large gap up or a higher close on the next trading day is still suggested, to be on the safe side.
Glif is shaping up today plus 10.54% ;D
Gliffin party tomorrow ;D

I love that chart as well. I'm in. Let's get it moving.
Looks like it was a false breakout. That's what I get for not waiting for confirmation.
Oh well, live and learn. I sold out not long after buying in for a slight loss.
Good luck if you continue to hold.

As a disappointed Glif holder, I called the chairman of the company today to ask him what is going on. He explained that he is trying to undo the company's current funding problems. The product is viable and has a potentially big market in Asia for women, who do not want to have a Pap test. Glif sells a blood test for cervical cancer.
Anyway, I am so far down and was impressed by this guy, so I'll hold. I can't imagine TA doing much for this stock. The phone number of the chairman, who is very informative, is 786 229 9795. He is very happy to explain the situation and give progress reports.
labelladonna, a newbie par excellence, but learning fast.
Thanks for the update, Labelladonna. I too am down ... 67% as of now ... and continue to hold for the potential. Applause for your initiative in calling the chairman.
GLIF in action today.. .027 HOD from .0164 close
does anyone know what's up with glif. having a nice session...soxguy
I sure don't but I hope it will keep up. Got them at $ 0,04. So still a long way to go before I'm happy :-X

yesterday we hit bottom i almost sold because i went in at 0.021. So yesterday i thought if we hold 0.0147 i won t selll. (0.0147 was the low 2 month ago after the 1200% big gain). I new this stock trades not like every stock amazing. Today up 80%. I am out with a 50 % gain. Merry christmas :o :o :o
Can anybody explain this jump today... might come back onto radar ...huge volume huge jump in otherwise pathetic down trend...???
I trade based on chart; yesterday was the key day to buy....tomorrow sell on news day....bottom was 0.015..history repeated itself. I am learing every time....
I called the party on dez 8.....i was holding because the party was today. Up over 80%. Merry Christmas i took my 50% gain..... ;)
I called Stan Yakatan, who is the President of Grant, today. There is alot in the works, including new licensed quick tests from Accudex. He is trying to make this much more than a pump and dump. I would keep it on the radar.

Grant Life Sciences enters into Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with U.S. State Department's 'Bio-Industry Initiative' (BII)
'BII' designed to foster medical and other biological R&D in the
former Soviet Union by converting former biowarfare scientists to
productive peacetime activities
Grant Life Sciences Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLIF) announced
today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dr.
Peter Sveshnikov and Dr. Vsevolod Kiselev of the Russian Republic, for
the in-licensing of certain of their technologies that are highly
complementary to Grants' antibody-based test for detecting cervical
cancer. The Sveshnikov/Kiselev technology comes to Grant from the U.S.
State Department through its Bio-Industry Initiative (BII) program.
The BII is designed to foster medical and other biological research
and development in the former Soviet Union by converting former
biowarfare scientists to productive peacetime activities.
Sveshnikov/Kiselev have developed an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent
Assay (ELISA) to detect specific cancer-causing proteins from the
human papillomavirus (HPV) -- the obligate cause of cervical cancer --
in the cervical mucous and cells (which make up liquid-based pap
samples). The test utilizes certain monoclonal antibodies against
these cancer-causing HPV proteins for detection. Thus far, the test is
designed to detect cancer-causing proteins from HPV types 16 and 18
which, collectively, are responsible for most cervical disease. This
type-specific antigen test, once fully validated and expanded to
include additional types of HPV associated with cervical dysplasia and
cancer, would be a very synergistic and complementary test to existing
Pap technology. It will provide for very low-cost HPV testing as
currently performed in Western countries, without the need for
additional cervical specimens beyond what is now taken. In addition,
large capital outlays would not be required, since most laboratories
can readily do ELISA testing.
Sveshnidov/Kiselev have already tested their technology with 1000
Russian samples to confirm the potential of this technology. Grant
will be further validating with more specimens from Russia and via the
many cervical specimens obtained in the United States under its
Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval in controlled clinical
settings.
"Together, when validated, Grant will have two complementary
cervical dysplasia or cancer diagnostic tests that will work on blood
serum or cervical mucous and cells," said Dr. Hun-Chi Lin, President
and Chief Scientist at Grant. "A blood-based test is eminently
suitable for the 1.7 billion women worldwide who currently are not
tested by Pap smear cytology. This inadequacy results in over 300,000
deaths per year. Meanwhile, a test employing cervical mucous or cells
is readily fitting for Western medical venues, and has the potential
of reducing costs dramatically when compared against those for current
HPV DNA-testing. Furthermore, it could significantly reduce
expenditures for follow-up referral procedures that turn out to be
overwhelmingly negative, with billions of dollars per year in
unnecessary medical expenses saved as a consequence."

Weekly Chart is shaping up...what a volume increase!
Weekly chart with big volume increase
This stock was one of many posted on www.thestockster.com right after they had much success with MBAY.
Only this time they had GLIF on their site for a couple of hours instead of days and then pulled it off.
What you see on the chart is the feeding frenzy.
Everytime I see some new action on a penny, I have to cross-check to make sure it isn't on stockster's site.
watch Glif.ob next week chart is ready again....came down from 0.085 to support 0.025. We bottomed out since november at 0.02. This is a multi bagger. Without or with stockster. In sept or october we had a 1200% move up day. A stock like this is unique in the otcbb market. And once again this 0.02 held since october not bad for pennyland we are ready to move.
Other boards take notice of glif.. ;)

Grant Life Sciences ('Grant') enters into a Memorandum of Understanding with Diagnostic Technologies Ltd. ('DTL') to develop and commercialize Grant's cervical cancer-diagnostic technology
Wednesday April 12, 9:35 am ET
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 12, 2006--Grant Life Sciences Inc.
The proposed deal would include upfront payment of $250,000 to Grant, plus ongoing royalties upon commercialization of the resulting product; also, DTL will conduct and fund all development costs, including clinical trials, associated with the commercialization of the products developed from Grant's cervical cancer diagnostic technology

Grant Life Sciences Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLIF - News) announced today that it has entered into a Memo of Understanding (MOU) with Israel-based Diagnostic Technologies Ltd. (DTL) related to Grant's cervical cancer-diagnostic technology (U.S. Patent No. 6,743,593). Under the MOU, Grant will receive an upfront licensing fee of $250,000. In addition, the MOU calls for DTL to conduct all development at its own cost, including clinical trials, associated with the commercialization of the products developed from Grant's cervical cancer-diagnostic technology. Upon commercialization, DTL will pay Grant an ongoing royalty on sales of the products developed, according to the MOU.
A definitive licensing agreement will be signed following appropriate due diligence and a feasibility test. Upon signing, DTL will immediately assume all of the costs associated with turning Grant's core technology related to cervical-cancer diagnostics into a commercially viable product. The diagnostic product based on Grant's technology will augment and complement DTL's suite of diagnostics aimed at the women's health market. Stan Yakatan, Grant's Chairman, together with DTL's Chairman, were instrumental in structuring this MOU, recognizing the considerable synergy of the relationship between the companies.
"This event, once consummated, will represent a most important milestone in the evolution of our company," said Hun-Chi Lin, Ph.D., Grant's President and Chief Scientist. "To date, we have been hampered in our development of our cervical cancer-technology because of capital constraints. The large costs of development, as well as the considerable expenses associated with being a publicly traded company, have hampered our ability to expedite final development of our core technology. This affiliation with DTL will help us accomplish many of our goals and more readily assure success and hoped-for shareholder value appreciation."
"We are happy with the opportunity to extend our current knowledge in developing diagnostic tools and means in the field of women's health to the field of cervical cancer and to fast-forward development and commercialization of a diagnostic product based on Grant's cervical cancer diagnosis technology," said Hamutal Meiri, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of DTL. "We hope that their technology will enable the detection of the presence of antibodies produced only by cancer-causing HPV-types and profile them." According to the National Cancer Institute there are some 100 types of HPV. However, only about 7 to 15 of these appear to cause cervical cancer, with certain HPV-types especially virulent in this regard. Cancer-causing HPV-types express certain unique proteins that help trigger the disease. The parties to the MOU believe that the product developed using Grant's technology can distinguish these cancer-causing proteins from those made by non-cancer-causing HPV-types. DTL therefore expects that using Grant's technology will enable it to determine whether a woman has cervical cancer or pre-cervical cancer conditions.
"Upon consummation of this partnership with DTL, Grant will have the 'luxury' of being able to focus its efforts on boosting revenues from sales in Asia of its rapid AccuDx tests for Malaria and Dengue Fever," added Stan Yakatan, Chairman of Grant. "These products, along with its rapid AccuDx tests for HIV-1 and HIV-2, represent an impressive product portfolio, and Grant will be able to look to drive new-business development for Grant Life Sciences in Asia. In addition, the market for cervical cancer testing is enormous, and DTL intends to carry a focused and controlled development of this innovative non-invasive, protein-based diagnostic test."
According to the American Cancer Society, the human papillomavirus (HPV) causes virtually all cervical cancer. Through its proprietary protein-based technology, the assay under development is intended to look at HPV in a fashion that identifies cervical cancer, its precursors or the likelihood of its presence. This immunotest includes antibodies especially associated with HPV-caused neoplasias or cancers that are detected with synthetic, proprietary peptides or amino acid sequences derived from certain proteins in the human papillomavirus.
About Diagnostic Technologies Ltd. (DTL)
DTL, based in Yokneam Illit, Israel, is a private company that has licensed from Technion a technology for using a highly sensitive immunoassay for the prediction of the risk to preeclampsia based on the quantitative determination of placental protein 13 (PP13) in maternal serum for prediction pregnancy disorders. The current test is aimed for the prediction of the risk for preeclampsia. According to the CDC, preeclampsia affects five to seven percent of all pregnant women and represents a serious challenge for obstetricians and prenatal and diagnostic laboratories. This threatening disorder can result in: loss of life; blindness; motor and mental disorders or premature newborns; pregnancy hypertension; and kidney, liver & cardiovascular malfunctioning. It is estimated that nearly $30 billion is spent today in healthcare costs to treat women with preeclampsia and their newborns. The company's in vitro ELISA-based test utilizes a simple blood test for the early prediction of preeclampsia, and it is now in clinical trials. TEUZA, an Israeli venture fund, is the major investor in the Company. On Jan. 31, 2006, PerkinElmer, Inc. (NYSE: PKI - News), a world leader in Health Sciences and Photonics, announced that it has secured the exclusive global rights to PP13 for identifying patients at risk for preeclampsia developed by DTL.

OMG is all I can say. I got proxy to vote on GLIF directors and found their proposal:
INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED COMMON STOCK FROM 150,000,000 SHARES TO 750,000,000 SHARES.
If this passes this stock will be a sub-penny forever.
Yep, and it did.
So now there are 750,000,000 shares...
GLIF is making a huge move today with over 20MIL in volume!
WOW! what a move today. And, without any news. I've been holding glif for months. Anyone else been holding or bought in today? I'm looking for a probable sell off tomorow, but I'm still going to hold.
Still holding here.. I will watch the action tomorrow. It might gap up in the morning and I wish we hit .040.
I don't think this is on no news - I think this is a reaction on Friday's news.
Wow... not only it hit 0.040 but the volume is crazy too... Not sure what to make of this but I'm watching closely.
Went into a selloff which was pretty much expected after such a huge run. Volume is drying up and if they come out with any other news I think it might go back up. If not it will continue sliding down.
Here I am to finally conclude my GLIF story.
I bought GLIF in October and November 2005. After a few times it surged big time in one day and then a selloff I coudn't get out and was just looking at a 40% loss in my account.
After all those months I really got tired of it and decided to put a sell limit to my average buy price which was .0369. I just wanted to get my money back and promised to stock God I will not complain ever about it.
Well, that was about a week ago. The day before yesterday the company put a PR out about their contract with Indian government and the stock went up all the way to the .063.
My order kicked in as soon as they put the PR out so I was out at .037 and finally got my money back. I am happy and will not compalin about the profit I missed out on (because the stock God might punish me) and I decided to get out of other sub-penny OTC stocks in my portfolio in the same way if I ever get the chance.
I realized I just cannot dedicate enough time to follow a highly volatile stock every day and have my finger ready every minute on sell button because I have a full time job and other obligations. I think I will aim for less profit but in more predictable environment.
At least I can say I tried... now I just need to find a way out of 58% losses in my account :)
Missed it too >:( >:( >:(
Same reasons as you. Too little time too much to do.
Wish you luck for the future.

Its running agian...hod .0735, great vol. ..no news.
not in...but looks nice
glta
Normally I would feel really bad about such a miss but not this time.
I missed (so far) 100% profit on this stock (and I'm talking about some real money like 10k) but it was so unpredictable that I was happy just to get my money back.
With stocks like GLIF trading is really gambling.
Got stopped out at 0,06. Nice profit. I'm happy :).
Amarens
I thought I closed GLIF page in my trading book but when I look at 254% missed profit after almost a year of waiting I really get sick! :)
Sold 2/3 position today at .104. Got a quick double on this one. Thanks for the heads up on the Indian contract.
