Title: CMT
Post by: marshagogo on May 29, 2005, 11:15:00 AM
I've entered this stock in the $5.50 range and feel it has room to go more. Every dip
gets bought and the latest earnings are impressive with a sub 13 p/e ratio. I bought
FORD under $5 (unfortunately I sold in the $10 range) but I get the same impression
of a similiar over time move here. Anybody else following this company? I really like
it. Not sure if an entry here is as wise as maybe waiting for a nice dip below $8 if it
happens again.

... but the right time to buy was the powerful white candle at the chart below, wasn't it? Altough a stock is never too high to begin buying I wonder if there aren't, in those 11000 or so stocks traded, some in the point of that white candle?

I'll search for them tomorrow ...

Still considering CMT, the candle on Friday wasn't pretty if you think that was an attempt to a new high ... there can be a consolidation and correction period ahead.

Thanks all....

Is this move about $8.86 a breakout in your opinion?

Regardless a super day thus far.

I think it will rise again.Strong fiscals.

Net sales for the three months ended June 30, 2005, totaled $33,659,000, representing an approximate 27% increase from the $26,607,000 reported for the three months .
The Company has adjusted its 2005 revenue projection to a range of approximately $120 million to $122 million, down from $125 million.Lost some of Yamaha contract.
CEO states he knows of no reason for the downward move!
Posted as a heads up after big falls .Appears to have good resistance at 5.50

i picked this analysis up...  (not my work)....

CMT might of hit a bottom as the stock received support at the 200 dma. The MACD is starting to turn up and Full Sto is showing the stock is oversold.

- i don't know what a FULL STO is? lol.  but "oversold" sounds good to me.

Bet you wished you hadnt asked!!
  Stochastic Oscillator

A technical momentum indicator that compares a security's closing price to its price range over a given time period. The oscillator's sensitivity to market movements can be reduced by adjusting the time period or by taking a moving average of the result. This indicator is calculated with the following formula:

%K = 100[(C – L14)/(H14 – L14)]

C = the most recent closing price
L14 = the low of the 14 previous trading sessions
H14 = the highest price traded during the same 14-day period.

The theory behind this indicator is that in an upward-trending market prices tend to close near their high, and during a downward-trending market, prices tend to close near their low. Transaction signals occur when the %K crosses through a three-period moving average called the "%D".

CMT reported terrific earnings last week:  triple earnings increase!

Stock has moved from the bottom of the chart showing an upward trend.  We should see this move up more towards the high a few months ago.  I'm expecting it to hit $9 soon.

The company started to drop of news that it had lost a small percentage of its Yamaha business; but apparently this didn't matter at all!

This company does not communicate with the investor community so you only see results; no PR's... they don't seem to care.

Earnings look really good though!

The next level of resistance is 8.14.

Good luck!

Wow... a huge run up from the earning report this morning.
I should have followed by instinct and bought it when I thought low 5's was good price... but was scared of possible disappointing earning.  Gonna have to add this to my watch list..
