Paradigm Medical Industries Completes Settlement of Federal and State Court Class Action Lawsuits

Copyright Business Wire 2005
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2005--

Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: PMED.OB/PMEDW.OB) today announced the completion of the settlement of the federal and state court class action lawsuits that were filed against the Company and its former executive officers, Thomas P. Motter, Mark M. Miehle, and John W. Hemmer.

On February 22, 2005, the Company executed written settlement agreements to settle the federal and state court class action lawsuits. As a condition to the settlement agreements, the courts in such lawsuits must have entered orders granting final approval of the settlements reached in those respective actions, and such orders must have become final and non-appealable.

On August 26, 2005, the federal court entered the order and final judgment granting final approval of the settlement agreement reached on February 22, 2005 in the federal court class action lawsuit, dismissing the complaint filed in the lawsuit with prejudice as against the Company and its former executive officers. In addition, the court permanently enjoined class members in the lawsuit and their successors and assigns from instituting any other actions against the Company and its former executive officers that had been or could have been asserted by the class members against the Company and its former executive officers in the federal court class action lawsuit.

Following the entry of the order and final judgment in the federal court class action lawsuit, there has been a 30-day period to appeal the order and final judgment. The 30-day period has now lapsed and no appeal was made of the order and final judgment. Consequently, the order and final judgment entered by the federal court is non-appealable.

Under the terms of settlement of the federal court class action lawsuit, U.S. Fire Insurance Company, which issued a Directors and Officers Liability and Company Reimbursement Policy to Paradigm Medical for the period from July 10, 2002 to July 10, 2003, agreed to pay the sum of $1,507,500 in cash to the class members that purchased securities of the Company during the period between April 17, 2002 and November 4, 2002.

On August 23, 2005, the state court entered a final judgment and order of dismissal with prejudice, granting final approval of the terms of settlement reached on February 23, 2005 in the state court class action lawsuit, dismissing the state class action lawsuit and all claims contained therein against the Company and its former executive officers, and enjoining the class members in the lawsuit from prosecuting the settled claims against the Company and its former executive officers.

Following the entry of the final judgment and order of dismissal with prejudice in the state court class action lawsuit, there has been a 30-day period to appeal the final judgment and order. The 30-day period has now lapsed and no appeal was made of the final judgment and order. Consequently, the final judgment and order entered by the state court is now non-appealable.

Under the terms of settlement of the state court class action lawsuit, U.S. Fire agreed to pay the sum of $625,000 in cash to the class members that purchased shares of Series E Convertible preferred stock on or about July 11, 2001.

sure, i'll do a 3month outlook as i think this has been undertaking a trend reversal, the +DI line bounce off 20 you see in the chart highlighted is a very strong indicator aswell as the +DI bucking the trend line ontop of the ADX line shows major strength to me. Also, If this support level is true as indicated on the chart then we could see .0175-.02 this time around. i see we are tagging .012 as i type this so i'm glad to see it's back up to your entry plus some of your shares from under a penny  8)

What is hard to understand about your post? you just pasted a link for a chart (anyone can do this) and said it's pullback forthcoming. Do you even have any reasons to support your pull back theory? if you thought i was attacking you then you have problems.
the WEEEE was because I've been here long before the action on friday, and i'm not worried about someone who is late to the game and thinks it could pullback. I've looked at the charts and i know the writing on the wall, Look at my previous charts in the thread. why do you think i've been banking coin here long before you even came to post your chart, a chart i might add that proves nothing kinda like your words.

yes and the problem is that you discounted the pullback theory without even considering it a possibility.  Do you WOW too?  I didn't show up to argue about the stock.  It was here, i looked at it, and did what anybody could do, but didn't.  It's a beauty of a chart.  But, looks like it could take a rest.  I didn't cast a pall over "your" stock.  I didn't say it was going to cease to exist in the coming week.  Carrying a big position?  You're a little uptight.  The chart looks good but i'd want to see it close above .02 before entering, from here.  But, from there it could very well 5 bagger if it's hot and 2 1/2 bag if it is gets warm.  And, if the bodies get small and the bottom wicks long on the pullback and the candles suggest entering beforehand...i'd buy at the first sign of continued bullishness.  Just looks like consolidation should occur here.

P.S.  I'd be most impressed if you bot this here PMED four weeks ago near the close on Friday.

I do not usually play such tiny priced stocks but am playing all the China movers and had CWLC when a buddy alerted me to PMED. I bought but when I read the news did not think much of it as they already had approval in the USA and parts of Europe etc so tiny Canada does not mean so much. But then I saw the tiny float - amazing as usually you see much more float on these tiny stocks.

The chart shows that it is going above the top Bollinger band some caution but you can see the clear target at 4 cents - the 50-day EMA and lower trend. It has not tested that since last July so it is OK to do it again. The Stochastics are also getting overbought area but RSI has room to go.

Liquid Stick, yes actually i was in longer than 4 weeks, and bought and sold more than once. first entry at .0055 was not the lowest of the bunch but it turned out a decent base to start, over the weeks i accumulated double my shares to what was a cost average of around .0085. I sold half again over .02 in fridays action so i don't know why you think i would be uptight. Even consolidation doesn't phase me my only objective was the 200DMA and it hit, anything extra is ice on the cake baby.

I never discounted a pullback i just discounted your weak chart and weak one line assumption, fact of the matter is i could care less from this point if it pulls back or not, i'm not a pig. You tallk about consolidation and candlesticks well buddy all i have to say is retake a look at the 10days before friday if you want to speak on consolidation. This is not 'my' stock, as you said. However 'my' technique did allow me to identify the proper targets early and make some coin, while you just come around late looking for a fight and asking if i really did enter when i did. Why am i even posting again to despute you i'm not sure.... but there it is. Please don't bother to respond it's just a waste of time from here on out. You have had it all wrong from the start thinking i was attacking y ou when i was only posting a happy time weekend post, now look at all this extra nonsense that has ensued. Now it can end.

speaking to metro here
since you are playing china stocks is this why you are moving into pmed? i've heard the CEO is working on china certification for the p60 aswell. Is this what you have heard? Tiny canada might not mean much for sales but it is a step in the right direction, and china could be next.

thanks Gmarc :>

people get too shook up from day to day. Consolidation is healthy and a good chance to pick up extra shares if you time it right. It's never healthy when a stock just shoots straight up, it's much more fun when you can pick up some extra shares through selling highs and buying low. Simular to the 10 days of action before we had our huge day friday, I wouldn't be surprised if we had another 10 days of range bound action at these new levels. Liquid stick and me are not even in a scoring match, he is lightyears away.  Bagholder is such a harsh term and really bad for the ego when you are trying to trade successfully.

Yeah that's right i'm light years away.  But, that distance just happens to be ahead of you, Doyer.  I may be new to 3sof.  But, i'm no newbie.   The reason i posted was so that the seasoned veteran would know what was up.  Over annotation is for amatuers.  I know i used over annotate.  Most charts make me sick to my stomach.  I don't need my charts to be annotated to view the value.  My hand doesn't need to be held.  Evidentally, you require over annotation.

If, you know what you are doing.  Then my charts are pertinent and poignant.  "I just do not got the patience" to lead horses to water, just to see them not drink, anymore.  Great that you got in well ahead of the curve.   Sorry, to hear that your word carried more weight than mine.  I was just here to air it out so people wouldn't get caught holding a lighter bag.  But, only if they already know what they are doing.     :o  ;D  LOL more food for the fodder and just evertime you see my name.  Kick me down a notch.  Smite me just to spite me.

sorry you picked today to post and not yesterday. trying to yabber isn't going to do anything here. i have the patience to understand single days do not matter, who isn't to expect some consolidation after a 200% move, it's even nicer feeling when you sell some and you get a nice entry to buy back in MORE shares, but then you come around with a lot of text trying to prove something?  You are right i'm well ahead of the curve and that's why i'm not to worried about your nonsense. i must not be the only one who thinks this because your smite is in the negative pal. Anyone who is trying to play this day to day will get shaken out like a rookie and killed. LIKE ANY PLAY. but if you bring out your time span to a few days or weeks and ignore these fools who like to post about their opinion only and not cashflow, then you can make some coin. If you get caught up in this like i'm pretending to be, you will lose. i feel bad for the people who bought in over .02 and have to listen to you now, because it doesn't really bother me.

if i'm not mistaken it was you asking how i knew to get in when i did, but now you are here to let the 'seasoned veterans' know what's up. if they are seasoned they don't need you telling them anything. Aswell as i don't need to add on the charts but i do it for rookies and people who are new here, infact i don't even need to post here all together i can just keep my techniques private. But i like to share ideas. Especially when i'm asked. but you, you have only came to attack from the start.  Sorry your tactics won't ever allow you to make a profit anywhere, pmed or elsehwere. Bitterness will lead to your road of self destruction.

Nah man i'm just upset cause you acted like an ahole.  In response to my timely "looks like it is going to consolidate" here statement.  As if your shit didn't stink.  I only asked when you picked the stock up to see if you really knew your stuff.  But, even you the all mighty one were in either too late or too early than all those little hammers.  As for PMED man i wasn't even looking.  I just re-upped with Stockcharts after a prolonged hiatus.  Sorry, I was "only late and showed up looking for a fight."  But, I'll have you know it was your derogatory remarks that sparked this fire.

Doyer 2, Liquid Stick 2

You each get a point for your sharp jabs and counterjabs!

QuoteI don't need my charts to be annotated to view the value.  My hand doesn't need to be held.  Evidentally, you require over annotation.
LOL!! Zing!!!

Quote"I just do not got the patience" to lead horses to water, just to see them not drink, anymore
A clever spin on an old saying!

Quotei hope they ban you for this filth and your slim trail you leave behind.
LOL! Snap!!

An applaud to Liquid Stick cause his posts had me rolling! Doyer, I would also give you an applaud, but I am down 34% on PMED after one day (pennies are so dam volatile) so that mitigates the applaud. If PMED rocks tomorrow or Friday I guarantee you will get an applaud though! If PMED falls down to .01 I will applaud Liquid once per hour until his rating is back to zero. That seems fair to me!

QuoteBagholder is such a harsh term and really bad for the ego when you are trying to trade successfully.
Well, I am down 34% so bagholder seems like the right term. I don't consider it harsh, rather I think it is often very accurate. Pennies are volatile though, so I'm not stressin' yet.

Thank you Doyer and Liquid for the entertainment! I may be down $700 on this stock right now, but at least I've had some good laughs here. Maybe not $700 worth, but it mitigates the sting a little. ;D

Haha. I think the whole fight is a bit of a misunderstandingy . Liquid rightly pointed out a pullback might occur. Doyer merely replied that he was going to have a party and made a play on words in the process. Liquid we appreciate your take on things. Doyer I appreciate all of your analysis. Lets call the fight off though bc its making my headache worse over my current bagholder status. Being a bagholder heres isnt as bad as having sold my ptsc which Id be up over 300% on now.

The level we are at right now is the same place we were at yesterday morning. I dont think its a big deal bc it seems to not want to dip much further thus far. Given all the volume in the .02s Im not the only one holding a bag right now and my guess is the MMs will find a way to get it goign again so as not to lose on the shares they bought yesterday and friday.

Title: Re: PMED

Runner,

It depends on how the rest of the week plays out.  We're looking at what some techs would call a piercing line (Dark Cloud Cover) on the weekly chart.  Which is obviously still out to jury as there are 2 more trading sessions left for that line.  Couple that with the fact that it hasn't yet closed below the midway point of the previous line.  If, PMED forms a "true" Dark Cloud Cover this week.  Then I would expect a slight gap down Monday and a selloff, but with the rest of the week recouping the selloff.  This action would cause a hammer to form and would be a positive headed into the next week.  So, i'd give it a couple more weeks and if PMED closes any week down there at the bottom trendline i'd be worried as hell.  But, I am not whole heartedly expecting PMED to spend much time down near that trendline.   Best case scenario here would be for PMED to turn in a morningstaresque reversal (with a hammer as the star) in completion of the western style Inverted Head and Shoulders pattern.

Runner - I agree with you on the misunderstanding. Reminds me of two young bucks whose antlers have just grown in, butting their heads and fighting over some dough (mispelling intentional) ;D :D

Liquid - your charting needs work. Apparantly your hand needs to be held after all >:D The chart you have annotated is different than the chart you posted over the weekend. Specifically, the parallel lines you drew have a different slope than they did before. This week's move (a higher high) is factored into your new chart, and you re-adjusted your slope lines for it. Thus, your chart last week was invalid.

Also, the lower parallel line has no significance other than looking pretty. The line only crosses through one valid data point, that being the candle from week 1 of October. For a trendline to have any significance, there must be two valid touches. You may argue week 1 of November was a valid touch. It was NOT as it was just a part of continuous downward move that lasted several weeks.

What I'm saying is you've drawn your lines so they would fit your argument.

I must revoke the applaud I gave you earlier.

Just called the company and was told that the CEO is in China and will be back on Friday. A PR may be issued on his visit.

Seems to me that if he went over there a deal might already be in the works. I read on the companies website that the CEO's last job was over in Asia so hopefully he has some contacts there that have helped him set up some sales.

piercing line dark cloud cover on a weekly bar chart eh? that will get you far. your true dark cloud cover point looks like you need to study up and not just pull tech terms out of a hat. It should be used on a daily basis not a weekly.
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/darkcloud.asp
using a weekly bar chart to consolidate 8 months of data is not something you would do, maybe for 2-5 years you can use weekly bars. but how you have it set up defeats the purpose.

i especially like the note on the chart that says "this is why i asked where you got in.." so very technical.

Lucas Scott,

You're such a PITA!  Funny all that gapping and you've picked the perfect name with an ASS almost smack dab in the middle.  Luc Ass Cott.  I'll have to nickname you Jean Luc nitpickin ass Picard!

I must admit the first chart is the sorry sister of the real de(ta)il.  But, the scaling is different in the first rendition.  The new chart is annotated such that others can get an idea of where i come up with all my shoddy analysis.  But, need i remind you.  I didn't buy PMED.  You did! I don't believe in buying high and selling higher.  I believe in buying low and selling high.  Don't get me wrong.  Buying high and selling higher has it's moments.  but, i'll never agian buy an over extended flaming turd.  Not without some good old fashioned sideways travelling, back 'n filling, consolidation.  I'm not about being right all the time.  I'm about making money.

Someone famous once said, "There are two kinds of people in stock picking.  Those that want to be right and those that want to make money."  I want to make money.  It isn't about being right, it's all about how you react to what happens.

It isn't even a barchart ya sheep dip.  It is a candlestick chart.  Even you should know the difference.   ::)   Dark Cloud Cover, (a variation of a piercing line a piercing line is the bulilsh cousin of the Dark Cloud Cover) is somewhat of a grey area.  Some candlestick practitioners say it isn't a piercing or DCC unless the close is past the middle of the previous stick.  But, as you might know stock movements are not cookie cutter clean.  Pound to fit and paint to match.  But, i suppose you'd like to call that bullish thrusting.  Eh?   Waaahhh cause it's your stock pick.  But, it's like i told Runner the WEEK AIN'T OVER YET!  I got some guff from somebody else on these boards over a shooting star.  She told me no you're wrong it's a high wave candle.  So, I told her she was right.  It is a high wave candle.  A shooting star is a high wave candle but tells of the body position relative the length and placement of the wicks.  Now do you see why I only draw a couple of lines on a chart and call it a day.  Otherwise, I'm back in the saddle again leading those GD horses that won't drink again.  I'm not getting paid enough to deal with the horseshit.

This is from hotstockmarket posted a few mins ago.....

GUYS DONT BAIL!!!!! JUST CALLED PMED, WOMAN WHO ANSWERED TOLD ME THAT CEO CANNEFAX IS BACK FROM CHINA TODAY! I ASKED ABOUT NEXT UPDATE TO INVESTORS REGARDING THIS TRIP SHE SAID "I don't know, possibly today"... IF NOT NO DOUBT IT WILL BE TODAY OR TOMORROW.....

Part of the huge activity was likely triggered by the fact that there was some buzz that the PR may have come when he was in China, but that didn't happen so obviously we re-trace. So if this woman on the phone can be trusted... expect PR today, tomorrorow.. or at worst case next week. .

I'm holding tight. If the company has even made a few business contracts or sales in China we all know this will blow up. I was about to sell and look for buy in later as I am still green... but no more. Now I'm very excited in anticipation of the news from China. The nice lady also said she had been bombarded with calls since Cannefax has been on his trip... many investors are very excited about this. !!! Let's see PMED back at .04 , .05 where it belongs!

Runner - I take no comfort at all in that post from poorTrader02. He sounds like a pump & dump artisan.

"GUYS DON"T BAIL!!!!"  If he were at 3SoF I would smite him immediately!!

PMED has a very nice technical setup, and that's the only reason I'm holding. I know almost nothing about what they do, and that's the way I like it. All I know is they have the word "medical" in their name, so I'm guessing medicine (diagnostics perhaps) is their line of business. Also I've seen the word/term "P60" and something about approval in Canada. That's all I know.

Last year when CYOS ran from 0.2 cents to 2.6 cents from early Jan to late Feb, I played it from 0.6 to 0.8. I made 33%, the overall move was 1200%. I should have had a 2-3 bagger at a minimum. My mistake: I did some DD and came across a SEC filing showing they had $4k in cash on their balance sheet. So I was superquick on the sell trigger. Had I only followed the chart, I would have caught much more of the move.

News or no news with PMED, I'm in till the chart tells me to get out.

they are a legit company that has been around pre bubble. they are in the eye care industry and they make instraments to help diagnose eye problems.  The p60 is their latest and biggest revenue generatic product. i have heard the new CEO is intent on expanding the business global. He was also around back with this company a few years ago, and came back to probably try and turn the company around, look at his stock options.

CYOS shows what we can do in the OTC and don't forget they were crushed by cornell and still came up to do that run

I am trying to stick to companies that at least have something going on finacially bc ive bought into big runs in the past with companies that had no future and I got drilled. I know it doesnt really matter what they do but if they releasea pr statement from China it would be huge so that was the only reason I posted that earlier. That and I was feeling down bc of our crappy day at that point. Things are looking ok now and hopefully I ll be back in black tommorrow.

Hey Lucas I bought in today with some of my PTSC profits at .0172 and I'm already down. The Catapult is in the house.
Sheep Dip? Thats a great saying. Hey Julia, still in this? if so, we should drag this down to new lows.

Hey Superg...of course i never got into this when it was jumping...almost did..but, as usual hesitated and lost out...but, i bet ur surprised i didn't buy at the high of the run like i normally do. I thought i would try a different approach this time...by not doing that. But, how do u know when the high at the moment is going to be the high of the day or not? See...i never know when to jump in exactly...when the run had started i had a great opportunity to jump in at .17...but  noooooo...i just watched it hit .25 or .26 that day....silly girl.
But, Sup...looks to me like ur actually making profits...wow...good for you....but, its now so lonely at the bottom here...all alone...enjoy ur ride baby! ;D

Fella's u guys are cracking me up. :)

Lucas,
So since your order didnt fill does that mean that few or no people were selling at that point?
Title: Re: PMED
Post by: Lucas Scott on February 24, 2006, 08:46:59 PM
Means demand > supply at the .02 level. Looking at a 1-min chart there were some trades at .02 after I placed my order. So apparantly there were more bidders at .02 than shares willing to be sold there, and the powers-that-be deemed me not worthy of a fill. Also, at the end of the day the price dipped as low as .0202. If the powers-that-be wanted out I think they would have stuck me with their shares. What's .0002 when you want to get out of your position, ya know? So I think this is a bullish situation. Good luck to us next week!

Hey guys just saw this over on hotstockmarket. Its all heresay as I havent talked to this guy nor do I have anyway to confirm this is legit. That being said this guy was the first to post that Cannefax was in China and I confirmed that was true for myself by calling the company. I dont see any reason why this email wouldnt be legit as it is in line with what the lady at the company said to me about them issuing pr soon. This goes a little further than that though...

Mike -
I will have a PR issued as soon as all the agreements reached in China are on paper. That will take some time, but it does not make sense to publish what I wish would take place.
I am curious where the information regarding my trip to China came from. I do not recall discussing that trip with anyone but everyone seems to know. Maybe I'm wrong in my perspective of this trip not being mentioned.
Raymond Cannefax

Notice that he says "agreements". I dont have to tell you guys the implications of any agreements being announced from China. One word would some it up...Huge.

I have to admit as soon as I saw Lucas owned this last week I had to jump in. I was actually debating today whether or not to dump this with 35% profit in 4 days but I held off. I'd love to see a nice gap up in the morning after this news sinks in. I think I'm getting the hang of this "Buy Low, Sell High" system, who'da thunk it?

SuperG - you're going to have to call it the Reverse Catapult(R). This is the opposite of your patented Catapult(R) system. In the Reverse Catapult, the stock actually goes up after you buy it! ;D  You're up 35% and I'm down 15%. Not fair!

It closed just a hair below the 200 dma. Maybe tomorrow it will finally get above it and hold the gain. GO PMED!!!

i sold some small blocks earlier in the day at .0235 incase of a pullback. But i'm still holding a great deal of this stock. This news is fantastic for the long term, hmmmm which would you rather have cornell crushers or an institutional investor.... This CEO really showing strength by everything he has been putting together in the short time he has been back with the company. I still think this will take some time to properly develop the trend, but Everything is shaping up nicely and i don't mind the wait as i'm a true accumulator and have been accumulating an increasing amount of shares since the trend showed signs of reversal. I can't imagine how many the pros were able to accumulate. I smell cheese :>

Lucas do you notice that these last few days candlesticks are very simular candles in comparison to the few days before it poped up from the .01 range. Also how long do you plan to keep capital here, Is this a swing trade for you? I'm curious as to your time frame for this baby please especially after tonights news. :)

Certainly isn't reflected in todays candle.  But, this sure doesn't  want to close below .02.  Don't know what the news is be interesting to see how PMED reacts.  Last 3 lines evening doji star.  I would think it preferable for a Monday morning open at .02 with some selling down to .019 and then a bullish engulfing.  But, that's just me.  I'll update after tomorrows session.

interesting 8-k none the less but damn made my head hurt so i have to head to the beach for the weekend to regather myself ;P
sadly i'll miss fridays action.... it should be good either way because i like BIG % moves and that is what is going on here.  we could just slowly continue to consolidate along the 200dma until we get some more news from the CEO, or large spikes of buying volume. I think it will be interesting to find what level the true investors playing this stock will take it to, and what level they can get the shares out for the 1.5mill
500,000 / .02 well damn fridays volume alone almost took care of that lot... if so
500,000 / .05?
* / .1?
....time will tell
warrents and all types of different shares in the 8-k filling yesterday, i mean from reading it, i got the impretion they were going to try to get back to the daq in the long run, again it is nothing like a cornell deathspiral. LONGGGGGGG and boring, anyone else have any opinions on it who read it? heh i'm too much of a beach bum to read that deep into that kind of fine print scripture. have a good weekend all

Bounced off the 20ema/center Bollinger Band which is good. Lots of stocks in an uptrend will hit the center BB regularly during an uptrend. I wasn't happy about the high volume with a close near the low that happened yesterday though. If it closes below the center BB I will submit my refund form to Doyer for reimbursement.

consolidation . Patience
if prices are around this low next week i'll be adding. I'm still holding my core amount long term. If the rest of the field gets shaken around well that's just how it goes, don't come to me looking for a refund. I'm not the market and if you really are getting caught up in others opinions you might want to check your game.  Smite me more if you can't wait out the bumps and want instant gratification. Flip it, swing it. do something, but stop losing profits because pmed is awesome when played right. Don't be scared to sell 1/3rd of your shares or something in anticipation of a dip, accumulation = gratification. better on the nervs in the long run for you.

But in any case, PMED needs a very good news to start new run.  IMO
For re-entry I'll wait VOLUME over 10M and PMED will close over 0.018.
Any other thoughts?

Gri - looks like both your parameters for reentry could be triggered today. Volume will definitely exceed 10M. Question is whether or not it will close at .018.

I was disturbed when I saw it in the .012's but now appears to have been a shakeout. I decided to cut two other crappy pennies I was holding instead - IFLB and CWLC. Still holding PMED and have an order to add to my position now if the price pulls back a little bit.

i might sell some however from when i was loading .013-.016 over the last 2 days. we could see 50+ volume today and this was selling off behind hand so we already have a lot of the weak hands out. Hard to say man!!! at least take SOME profits today!

the stockster is really stalking me lately, usually i hate his plays but i've been in pmed longer time.... he is going to have to pay for this action, i think the float is a lot more tight in pmed
lets see .03!!!!  :>

Where do you guys see that Stockster is involved in PMED? I checked their website and they still just have AMRE, MEDC, and VRDM listed.

I see it now. Well it's disappointing to see they're ones who orchestrated the rally yesterday and the pop today. Once they promote the stock on their website it means they're selling, so I'm out at .02. The shares I picked up yesterday helped alleviate the loss on the ones bought at .029. Still finished underwater tho. Now about that refund....

you need another vacation buddy, your game is old like your information. Mad pmed bounced off .01 as  support??? Upset your turd of a .pk hit .01 like resistance jackhammer?? You can't even look up these type of stats for your piece of $&@! pinksheet and good luck getting ahold of any 'transfer agent' or believe what they say. Is this how you opperate, playing pks you can't get intel on and then when you can you go for the old outdated information. Nice.

This is infact a company with a history and the ability to make it back to the daq. Buyer beware but those aware have already have been able to accumlate enough free shares to not give a ^-^ what you think. Because you don't think, you just spread hate and disillusionment.

Infact if you even have the ability why don't you just  bring a short position into this stock, with what little cash you have left.  Lets see how confident you really are with some chips on the line.

they won't dilute that much, the SB-2 share structure will fluctuate greatly depending on the PPS. Just call the transfer agent on the regular to get an updated count, if you fear dilution that much.  but fears this will be like GZFX are unfounded, it would first need to make a nice run like GZFX did before they would dilute it into oblivion. This is still yet to run and looking at the moving lines that have been playing resistance all year, once they are broke it should make a nice little run regardless of this Sb-2. I've seen countless stocks run with s8/sb-2 out.

Paradigm Medical Industries to Introduce Several New Instruments at AAO Convention
Wednesday October 4, 9:51 am ET

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: PMED/PMEDW), a leading innovative producer of ultrasound devices for the ophthalmic and medical industries, disclosed today it has finalized an agreement with Tinsley, a division of Hartest Precision Instruments, Ltd. (Croydon, UK), whereby the latter will construct a new-generation compact Visual Field Screener (VFS) Perimeter on behalf and for Paradigm Medical. The new LD700 Perimeter measures visual field loss caused by glaucoma, head trauma, or other neurological disorders that can impact the visual pathways. It will be marketed by Paradigm Medical on a global scale.

Paradigm Medical's Dicon(TM) Perimeters already are a standard of care in the protection and monitoring of glaucoma worldwide.

"The LD700 will be our third-generation perimeter," noted Paradigm Medical's Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Cannefax. "It already has received U.S. Food & Drug Administration and European CE Mark regulatory approval. We will introduce this new, state-of-the-art device at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Convention next month in Las Vegas."

Paradigm Medical reported it will also be launching domestically several other sophisticated ultrasound devices and instruments at AAO, some of which have been developed via its agreement with MEDA Corp., one of China's leading developers and producers of ultrasound devices. That agreement was completed in June 2006. Paradigm Medical is already selling some of these devices in international markets, where customer response has been very positive.

The new instruments include an Ultrasound A-Scan (which is used to measure axial length of the eye), a Pachymeter (which is used for measuring corneal thickness), an A-Scan/Pachymeter (which is a combination of the two stand-alone devices), and two A/B Scans (one is an ultrasound imaging device for detecting abnormalities within the eye; the second is designed to provide portability for ophthalmology veterinary applications).

"We are unaware of any other company that has introduced so many ophthalmic devices/instruments at any one time within the industry," Mr. Cannefax said. "It represents further validation of our strategy to upgrade the Company's product offerings and broaden the global market opportunity for sophisticated, high-tech, high-value-added instrumentation for the detection, treatment and management of ophthalmic disease.

"We believe our expanded portfolio should provide our customers, suppliers, competitors and employees with evidence that Paradigm Medical is making significant progress in repositioning itself as a strong force in the global ophthalmic market. We have also shown that we can work with other industry leaders in creating next-generation instrumentation to combat eye disease," Mr. Cannefax added.

Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (Salt Lake City, UT), currently develops, manufactures and markets high-tech, proprietary diagnostic equipment and consumable products for the medical industry. Paradigm Medical Receives FDA Approval for New-Generation Ultrasound Devices
Wednesday February 7, 9:04 am ET
Collaboration with China's MEDA results in development of new array of devices ready to meet global market needs

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: PMED.OB/PMEDW.OB), a leading innovative producer of ultrasound devices for the ophthalmic and medical industries, disclosed today it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to market a new generation of Ultrasound devices. The products were developed through a collaboration with MEDA Co. Ltd., one of China's leading developers and manufacturers of ultrasound devices. The collaboration was formed in June 2006.

The new devices were unveiled at the recent American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Convention, and have already received orders internationally.

"The FDA's approval of our 510(k) application will result in an immediate, stepped-up marketing campaign in the U.S. and Canada," said Paradigm Medical's Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Cannefax. "The Company has already built inventories based on strong international demand and anticipated U.S. regulatory approval."

The new devices include the P2000 A-Scan (used to measure axial length of the eye); P2200 Pachymeter (used for measuring corneal thickness); P2500 A-Scan/Pachymeter (a combination of the two stand-alone devices); P2700 AB/Scan (an ultrasound imaging device for detecting abnormalities within the eye); and P37-II (a more advanced AB/Scan used to provide portability for ophthalmology veterinary applications). "We believe the P37-II will set the new gold standard for AB/Scan in the industry," Mr. Cannefax noted.

"FDA approval for use of these devices and the recent operations management reorganization we implemented at the beginning of this year will have a favorable effect on our performance in 2007 and beyond," Mr. Cannefax added. "The Company clearly has become one of the leading, multi-product Ultrasound device producers in the world."

Any thoughts on where this one heads from here? The news sounds pretty legit and its what I and a number of other people were wating on last spring when the rumors first started coming out that they would get some kind of a deal in China.

Is it above a penny from now on or is this going back down when the day traders are done?

Must be nice the news you been waiting for so long finally came out.  :)

Volume went way down, doesn't look like too many people were selling their shares.  I think a penny is pretty safe for now, I wish I bought some at a penny this morning when I had the chance.

Trying to figure out how much this is worth.

Let me know what you come up with on that. Over on another board people seem optimistic that this news means the company is legit now and will start making some money. If that is the case it seems like this could be a multi bagger from here.

I dont care how good the news is. When something runs up +500% in one day its way to risky. Im staying away, people from earlier this morning can dump big time at the EOD or tomorrow to get their 500% profits.

Post by: runner2847 on February 07, 2007, 03:09:48 PM
Yeah a big pull back wouldnt be a surprise at this point. One post I read said that at .03 the company's market cap is 6mi. I dont know if thats correct or not based on the number of outstanding shares. With the FDA approval and sales in China, it seems like the company would be worth well in excess of that now.

thoughts?

Title: Re: PMED.OB
Post by: fous on February 08, 2007, 04:24:56 AM
PMED had a huge run today up 710% on the day, i was watching earliar in the day when it was up 300% saying man that would have been nice to catch that one, cuz who buys in intraday on a 300% rally?? I know i sure don't. Then i come back after class and its about to close at 700%........ They released some very speculative news today that could turn this stock into a specualtors deam stock, one of those stocks that go from pennies to over $1. Depending on the legitamacy of this news and product of course. So many OB's and PK's have the "to good to be true" story that everyone buys into and gets screwed, such as our experience with IBCX not too long ago, remember that disaster?? Its an even worse disaster now, i bought it at .0092 and looked like a very attractive entry given the "information" the company was providing us with, now its at a measily .0004......... THATS DOWN 95% from when i said to buy, i then managed to get out with a 35% loss. So theres always great risk, you just gotta cut your losses short if the trade isn't going your way, because "you'll go broke waiting for a bounce". And of course you can always re-enter if the trade is coming back into play. So in the case of PMED, considering an entry after a 710% rally isn't something im interested in doing. Momentum could just keep this thing sky rocketing but thats just too risky for me to guess. When i enter trades, i enter because i know/think its moving up. And you know there will be people taking profits after a 710% rally. But this is definitely something to look into, don't bet the farm of course, but i think at some point given some profit taking and further analysis PMED will be ready to drop a couple dimes in and possibly capitalize on multiple bags.

So the news is that they recieved FDA approval for a new generation of ultra-sound devices. Its not everyday that you see a stock trading at .0039 get approved by the FDA, thus the speculation and 710% rise we witnessed today. What i see potential for here is that we have the new FDA approved product that gave rise to speculation and rise in price. From here on out theres the possibility of a string international orders for this product to keep the momentum going. Now hey this is all just possibilities so don't take my word for it, but this is how those big 100 baggers start. And someday we'd all love to catch one, and your not gonna unless you try. But you gotta be smart about it. Take some profits on the way up, don't get greedy and watch your money dwindle away cuz your just waiting for that bounce. So for now we got a start, a new product to speculate on, now in order for us to capitalize on this trade we need someone to start buying this product. They say they already have some orders in place but havnt disclosed any details, and those details are the key.

Im not looking for any entry point yet just watching, watching closley. Technically we could called this the "3 magic lines strategy" as coined by one of our members Terliso. Look at any penny stock that rose from pennies to the dollar and i'll say 99% of them had this pattern. Which is the 50ema, 200ema, and 200ma clustered together with price trading relativley flat for a medium to long term period and sudden huge rally on heavy volume breaking out above all three ma's. PTSC and JAVO are 2 examples that come to mind for the moment but there are many more. This could just turn out to be another worthless pump and dump penny but its definitley worth keeping an eye on imo.

regards,
fous

Fous...what are you thoghts on what we've seen thus far today. I have a relatively small position that ive been holding for almost a year when I bought on the last big spike. Im willing to risk it and hold on the chance that this thing is really going to run like ptsc (i bought that one and sold at .40 on the way up).

It seems like its been pretty strong so far today with a lot of ppl taking profits from yesterday. Thanks for the analysis.

Title: Re: PMED.OB

good post fous, applaud

700% in a day is crazy, and it's hard to judge when a stock goes barbarian like this. it's why speculation is served best by getting in before the major volume. This previous downtrend for 8 or so months is only going to bolster the power of this upcoming uptrend. 160mill then 90mill traded on a 200million shares outstanding stock.  so even if it was accumulated for the months before and the float was 100million. you can see what that 250+million would do. from this base of .02x it can continue higher. this move has been 2 years in the making and the volume is saying the time is now, breaking the 200 day moving average. This can obtain .1 and higher because i'll speculate to say the float is locked up, from people like me who accumulated years before and from people who bought millions on the FDA news. Also suspicious activity gapped up to .047 which is the 52 week high, only to later open at .04. So this goes to show me Consolidation now in this .02x range will only go to further the strength when it pushes through .05 and beyond.

GL all long term holders and new speculators. whoever talked bad in the past was too busy distracted by their ego, they will never make good traders. it can make a good case study of how not to let your emotions take over your trades, those people in the past can eat some phat crow now.

As has already been pointed out a couple of times on here, this is setting up (news wise) for a PTSC type run. The company is on the verge of becoming very profitable and once they announce some orders for these $80k devices they build, it should make the FDA approval run look like a small jump.

Based on those charts, what do you predict Rick? Bounce into the mid to high .02s?

News on those pending contracts would hit the spot about right now.

Paradigm Medical Industries Sees Higher Sales, Declining Loss in Fourth-Quarter Results
02/22/2007 09:10
Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: PMED.OB/PMEDW.OB), a leading innovative producer of ultrasound devices for the ophthalmic and medical industries, reported today it expects improving results for the fourth quarter of 2006, ending December 31.

Revenues (unaudited) are projected to reach $595,000, an increase of more than 50% from the last quarter of 2005. This would bring full-year 2006 sales to $2.2 million, even with the year-ago level.

"The Company got off to a slow start this year, but began to gain momentum during the second half," said Paradigm Medical's Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Cannefax. "Moreover, our final-quarter revenues will be up more than 40% from the prior three months."

Mr. Cannefax continued, "Paradigm Medical substantially improved its product mix and controlled its fixed costs throughout the year, and it all began to come together during the last quarter. The Company will have a dramatic improvement in gross profit, with the margin hitting close to 65%."

According to the Company, operating expense was reduced by 16% in the quarter, to roughly $456,000. This will result in Paradigm Medical showing an operating loss of $(124,000) for the fourth quarter versus an operating loss of $(256,000) in the year-earlier period.

"We're not happy reporting a loss, but are satisfied that the programs initiated to improve performance and reduce costs are working," Mr. Cannefax noted.

"Paradigm Medical has been able to dramatically reduce its operating expense during the last year, particularly as we've streamlined the product portfolio into high-value-added, proprietary devices; launched a global-oriented sales and marketing effort; revitalized the management team; and received regulatory approval for several key Ultrasound products. We believe everything is in place for the Company to improve its financial performance in 2007 and beyond," Mr. Cannefax added.

"There will likely be some modest increase in operating expense in 2007, due to expansion of the sales and marketing efforts and several new-product introductions following regulatory approval in the U.S. and other regulatory agencies, particularly in state-of-the-art Ultrasound devices. Nonetheless, we believe the growth in revenues and margins will be sufficient to offset slightly higher expenses.

"Our business plan for 2007 and beyond is decidedly more growth oriented than mainly cost-containment oriented," Mr. Cannefax said. "We had to be defensive in recent years. We are now eager and ready to become more growth aggressive. We will, however, continue our efforts to keep our costs in close check."

Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (Salt Lake City, UT), currently develops, manufactures and markets high-tech, proprietary diagnostic equipment and consumable products for the medical industry. What's not to like? The company is focused on growth and getting their new products out there. Pretty much exactly what we'd want to hear.

I agree.  Let's just hope the market doesn't take too long to share our opinion.  ;)

I'm in this stock too.

I'm not paying too much attention to the daily changes in the price.

I'm more interested in the long term value of the company.

GLTA!

Looks like the volume is really drying up here. Its holding half or more of its gains from the big run a couple of weeks ago. Man would i love to see a press release with the word "sales" and "China" sometime soon.

runner2847 , patience is the key...

volume is drying which means that most people who still holding the stock are long term investors. Of course there are still some weak hands and that's why  the price will keep swinging up and down.

I think that the price will stay in the range: 0.0155 - 0.025 until we get a PR with orders and sales numbers.

Hopefully the sales news comes out soon, then i will not sell my shares for less than 0.05

Think about it, the FDA approval was huge, and this company is still undervalued.

greedy,

I agree with you completely. Im pleased with what its done since the big run. (although of course i would have liked for it to keep running) If it holds here, I think it will run to at least .05 on the next positive news. Hopefully higher.

Yeah I feel really good about this one right now. Whether its in a week or in a year, this thing is going to run huge on the first news of sales on the new FDA approved product. This thing is explosive when it runs so its not going to take much to get it double or more from here.

Paradigm Medical Industries Receives Major LD400 Perimeter Order from Large Optical Chain in United Kingdom
Wednesday December 19, 12:59 pm ET

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: PMED.OB/PMEDW.OB), the leader in glaucoma diagnostic and management devices, today disclosed it has received an order for 30 Dicon LD400 Visual Fields Analyzers (Perimeters) from one of the largest optical chains in the United Kingdom. The retail value of this order exceeds $250,000. Delivery is scheduled by the end of this year.

The LD400 AutoPerimeter is used to measure patient visual fields to determine the severity of glaucoma and to aid in managing the disease.

"This is a significant acceptance of the fact that our LD400 with its patented Kinetic Fixation feature is the most technically advanced Perimeter available today," said Paradigm Medical's Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Cannefax. "Though the LD400 is in the midst of a major technology upgrade, it is obvious that Paradigm Medical's existing VFA technology is superior."

The Company noted that it already has received written commitments for an additional 40-50 LD400 Perimeters from the same UK optical chain, which will also be delivered during the first quarter of 2008. The total retail value of all shipments would exceed $600,000.

Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc., is the leader in Ultrasound devices, and glaucoma detection and management products.
