Montgomery & Co

NEW YORK, December 14 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Montgomery & Co initiate coverage of KongZhong Corporation (ticker: KONG) with a "buy" rating. The target price is set to $14.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that following the challenges witnessed in 2006, the company's growth is likely to recover going ahead, backed by the long-term macro-growth trend. KongZhong appears poised to tap on additional revenue opportunities in the growing Chinese wireless market, the analysts say. The company is expected to benefit going ahead from its strategy of building a premium WAP portal and gearing up for 3G technology in China, Montgomery & Co adds.

Still holding on to the $8.00 support level.  A prior Motley Fool article said that earnings are expected the week of Feb. 2nd.  I'm not sure if that means this week or next but either way, we should see some fireworks up or down. ;)
