Maui General Store Signs Letter of Intent to Merge with Stem Cell Research and Technology Company
>
HANA, Hawaii, Oct. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Maui General Store, Inc. (OTCBB:MAUG)
announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to merge with Palmera
Holdings, Inc., dba Trinity BioGenics, an emerging adult stem cell technology
company. Florida-based Trinity BioGenics has distinguished itself within a
growing sector of research firms that focus on the use of adult stem cell
tissues to develop revolutionary medical procedures. Trinity's technological
accomplishments have and will continue to contribute to a redefinition of
patient treatments and therapies for chronic ailments such as heart disease,
diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.

Possessing worldwide licensing rights for the commercialization of specific uses
of adult stem cells for cell therapy, Trinity also holds similar rights to the
development of autologous vaccines for targeting the immune system, biological
response modifiers for immune modulations, as well as novel plant extracts for
biological medicines. These research frontiers are among the most sought-out by
the United States Food & Drug Administration, and Trinity's current licenses
have been described as five years ahead of comparable research currently under
development in the United States. Recently gaining increased attention from
investors due to data disclosed by researchers on September 20, that human adult
stem cells helped regenerate spinal cord tissue in mice, the stem cell
technology industry is poised to make great gains in the months and years
ahead.

Maui General Store CEO Richard Miller commented that he is quite impressed with
the technologies already developed by Trinity BioGenics: "After seeking out the
best possible match of potential returns for our shareholders, we are confident
that Trinity BioGenics will continue to deliver revolutionary advances in the
area of biological and stem cell therapy research. In addition to the obvious
potential earnings from the commercialization of this industry, it makes sense
to us on a humanistic level to support the growth of medical treatments that
could significantly change the quality of life as we know it."

Maui General Store and Trinity BioGenics Announce Adult Stem Cell Testing on Human Patients

HANA, Hawaii, Nov. 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Maui General Store, Inc. (OTCBB:MAUG)
and Palmera Holdings, Inc. dba Trinity Biogenics, announced today that The Stowe
Foundation will be conducting adult stem cell testing under the supervision of
Dr. Lawrence Stowe and Dr. Carlos Serralde at the prestigious Angeles Hospital
in Mexico City, Mexico which started the week of November 14th. Drs. Stowe and
Serralde will be treating chronic heart failure patients with the stem cells
being directly infused into the tissue to increase the function of the heart.
The human clinical study will conform to FDA standards as a Phase 1 study, and
this is the first time in the world that bone marrow concentrate containing all
active forms of adult stem cells will be used on human patients.

According to Dr. Lawrence Stowe, this study features cutting-edge technology not
previously utilized in human trials: "All other human studies have used specific
stem cell lines that have been purified and isolated from a wide variety of body
tissue. The bone marrow concentrate to be used in this study is unique and will
contain the physiologic balance of immune cells required by the body to achieve
superior tissue repair."

Palmera Holdings, Inc. dba Trinity Biogenics, an emerging adult cell technology
company, has an exclusive license with The Stowe Foundation to commercialize the
stem cell technology findings. For more information on Trinity Biogenics go to

How does this chart look? Is that a golden cross looming?

I had originally bought this stock at .11 on a run in October. Then it dropped quickly to .05 level and i held for awhile.  Finally it started to rise some i sold it at .08 thinking i was luck to get at least that....but, then it continued to rise and has been doing nicely...could have swing traded this a few times if i was smart. :)  I kept thinking I should get in on a pullback, but never did.  It seems to be doing well, on an uptrend it appears.

Any comments on how the chart looks...Setravis...I know you're out there ;D

thanks very much

Rounding Bottom (reversal) Pattern
Watch for the breakout it needs at that red resistance line on the chart.
Support @ 0.11...0.10...0.09
Resistance @ 0.12...0.13
MACD is bullish
Stochastic is bearish
Recent CandleStick Analysis
Very Bearish.........................but as always need conformation.
Nov-25-2005 Inverted Hammer

Rounding Bottom (Reversal)
The rounding bottom is a long-term reversal pattern that is best suited for weekly charts. It is also referred to as a saucer bottom, and represents a long consolidation period that turns from a bearish bias to a bullish bias.

A rounding bottom could be thought of as a head and shoulders bottom without readily identifiable shoulders. The head represents the low and is fairly central to the pattern. The volume patterns are similar and confirmation comes with a resistance breakout. While symmetry is preferable on the rounding bottom, the left and right side do not have to be equal in time or slope. The important thing is to capture the essence of the pattern.

I don't know if we have missed it. At least a share in some of this profit making.
I'm looking and watching for a pullback to buy me some.  ;)
It may pull back to that red resistance line which is now support, may do that sometime this week, if so may be a good buy point to catch the next ride, be ready to buy your ticket.  ;D
Be watching.... ;) end of week or maybe first of next week.

i won't speculate as far to say it was only a manipulation play and it's all said and done with no recovery in sight. i would just watch the cashflow and volume and number of trades per day. If it looks like it's currently pulling back (which to me it does) i would look to find some point of support in it, and that probably can't be picked any better than in the present moment, and that is something you just have to watch and wait for.
Title: Re: MAUG
Post by: gmarc66 on December 22, 2005, 08:53:55 AM
Thanks Doyer,

But, i'm not really too good at knowing where to find support...so, i don't know how much further i should let it drop before i let it go.

This is the second time i have dealt with this stock.
First time, i bought this stock on one of its runs about a couple of months ago when it went to .11, where i bought!...then from there it steadily dropped to .05..and i still held (why, don't konw)...then it started to slowly rise, and i figured i would just get out with a smaller loss as i wasn't sure how high it would go..so i sold at .08. Then of course it continued its run and ran past my orginal purchase of .11...i would of had a nice double at one point if i had held on...but, i never know when to sell or buy for that matter...i just know its always at the wrong time ;D

I'm wondering if its just the time of the year where there are alot of people selling their stocks for tax purposes? I wondering if i should just be holding on to many of my losers into the new year to see if there is a renewed buying frenzy? Is that a silly concept?

glta! and thanks very much,

julia

HANA, Hawaii, Jan. 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Maui General Store, Inc. (OTC BB:MAUG.OB - News) and Palmera Holdings, Inc. dba Trinity BioGenics, announced today that The Stowe Foundation, with whom Trinity holds a license to commercialize stem cell technology findings, has retained the services of Dr. May Jacobson of The CBR institute for Biomedical Research. Dr. Jacobson, an affiliate of Harvard's medical school, will assist The Stowe Foundation in regulatory compliance issues regarding the its upcoming clinical studies on adult stem cells in Mexico City. The Stowe Foundation asked Dr. Jacobson to review the Foundation's technology platform to ensure the study meets FDA standards. The Foundation will begin treating chronic heart failure patients with the adult stem cells in early 2006. These study data will form the basis for a preclinical meeting with the FDA later in the year for approval to test the protocol in the United States. Dr. Jacobson made several technical corrections to the protocol to ensure the clinical trial will meet FDA guidelines. The Stowe Foundation's technology platform is the basis for Maui General Store and Trinity BioGenics' entry into adult stem cell therapy.
