Title: NTAH.PK - May run this morning
Post by: boatguy on November 02, 2005, 07:53:59 AM
Biggest volume ever for this stock yet, technology appears sound.

News out a couple weeks ago, don't know why the big volume increase yesterday.

Possible anticipation of news? Might be a good daytrade this morning if volume returns.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 11, 2005 -- Nevtah Capital Management, Inc. (Other OTC:NTAH.PK - News) recently entered into a 50/50 joint venture with Cassandra Energy to recover oil from oilsands on leases located in the state of Utah. These leases contain an estimated 900 million bbls of near surface bitumen. (DOE 1983 Estimates from Interstate Oil. Compact Commission "Major Tar Sand and Heavy Oil Deposits of the United States" Lewin & Associates 1983 report) (Lewin and Associates, Inc., Major Tar Sand and Heavy Oil Deposits of the United States, Interstate Oil Compact Commission in cooperation with the USGS and U.S. Department of Energy, July 1983) This major oilsands project will utilize Cassandra's patented process. Nevtah and Cassandra will utilize a proven recovery technique to extract oil from surface oil-bearing sand with an initial focus on an area in Utah called Asphalt Ridge with an estimated 1.5 billion bbls (DOE 1983 Estimates from Interstate Oil Compact Commission "Major Tar Sand and Heavy Oil Deposits of the United States" Lewin & Associates 1983 report).

Cassandra has exclusive rights to a patent protected proven hydrocarbon extraction technology and has assembled a core group of scientists, engineers, operators and managers necessary to further develop the technology, mine leased tar sand, operate, upgrade and market recovered hydrocarbons.

An earlier project in Wyoming to extract oil from surface oil sand deposits operated successfully for a year producing slightly less than 100 bbls of oil per hour or 2000 bbls of oil per day at an operating cost of $10/yd., each cubic yard yielding about 1bbl of oil.

This demonstration will take place at the Uinta Basin in Utah during October and November. The Cassandra 3' Solvent Extraction process demonstration unit #1 uses an extractor vessel to receive crushed, 1" minus tar sand which is exposed to a flow of solvents in the sealed extractor vessel. The oil is extracted out under a slight vacuum while the cleaned solids are heated to completely remove any solvent remaining, leaving dry solids suitable for mine backfill by Utah EPA Standards. The recovered solvent is compressed back to a liquid, cooled and re-circulated to the extractor vessel in an endless loop similar to coolants in an air conditioning system. A DOE funded report on this process that was successfully used continuously over several months can be found at: www.netl.doe.gov/scngo/Petroleum/publications/projfactsheets/Indep/FactSheets/IOR.pdf, then go to Project 11 on Adobe page 7 and 8. Actual Asphalt Ridge tar sand was used as a basis of this report. The summary of this report states that the process is economically viable and environmentally safe.

The daily bitumen production will be used to train operators and develop procedures for progressing to 24-hour operations. This demonstration unit is estimated to process as much as 5yd/hr of mined oil sands. The produced bitumen will be trucked to an established contract buyer. The pilot plant will continue producing to establish a continuous 24-hour/day operation.

Possible G spot forming?

I think some news now would send this stock flying!!

Impressive chart, low volume now, very risky but possibility of a real run.

NTAH did well today up more than 7% with a new high of .77 and closed at .75.

I know I should take some profit off the table but considering I only have half a position I will continue to hold.

My plan is to sell only if the stock comes down to my entry price of .49 or I may even take a small loss on a pullback.

Great day for this stock!!

I was expecting a pull back below 1$ but it just blew right through with high volume . High of the day was 1.09, closed at 1.08.

I hope the company comes out with positive news soon on the results of the pilot project. With the right timing this could explode on very high volume!

Already doubled and then some since I entered, can it do it again?

Tomorrow will be very interesting!!

Korea Technology Industry (KTI) Issues Operations Update to Korean Investors on Its Joint Venture Agreement With Nevtah/Black Sands Energy Project in the Utah Oil Sands
May 1, 2007 11:17:00 AM

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/01/07 -- Nevtah Capital Management (PINKSHEETS: NTAH) and its joint venture partner, Black Sands Energy, today announced the disclosure, by Korea Technology Industry Co. Ltd. (KTI) to its Korean investors, of developments in their joint venture agreement in the Utah oil sands (See Press Release dated January 12, 2007).

Translated directly from KTI's release, Seoul, Korea:

"After a favorable independent engineering study, KTI has announced an expanded involvement in the development of Nevtah/Black Sands Energy's leases in the Utah oil sands area. The Company plans to initially invest $29 million USD in the development, which represents the second largest Korean investment in North American oil sands projects. KTI's business model forecasts the production of 2000 bbl/day by the end of July 2007, which coincides with the completion date of the joint venture partner's first commercial production unit. The Company projects production of 12,000 bbl/day by the end of 2007 through the use of several multi-pod production units on several lease locations throughout the Asphalt Ridge/Whiterocks Deposits. KTI expects to ramp up production to over 50,000 bbl/day by the end of 2009."

Prior to Nevtah/Black Sands' development of their patented, closed-loop production process, the petroleum industry has not been able to develop an economic, cost-effective method of extracting oil from oil sands without the extensive use of water. The joint venture's process utilizes benign, non-toxic solvents which are recycled in a closed-loop system so that both cost and environmental impact issues are met. This unique system, combined with pressure and temperature, is now ready for commercial application. Direct mining and extraction processing costs are estimated at $12.00 to $13.00 USD per barrel, which offers payouts similar to conventional oil drilling. Proponents of the closed-loop system have stated that the process is scaleable, portable, flexible, low-cost, low-energy, low-manpower, low-emission, earth-friendly, easy-to-operate, leaves a small footprint and has a rapid payout.
