ISON came off from Bottom with big volume....can raise fast...seems ready to move on monday to 3 (look at the 5 day chart)
Greeting and good luck
Tom from Switzerland
... I saw ISON. Let me say this: if you have the stock already, congratulations, big move from the lows. But I couldn't be a buyer now, for 2 reasons:
1) Volume is weak. Compare volume of this rise with volume of the last advance phase.
2) This rise has no technical base. It came out of nothing, no double bottom, no accumulation phase. In a different way (a bit less risky) but this chart reminds me of that FLYI stock that I bought on Thursday and gave me a loss of 9% in one day (0,6% of total capital).
I don't know if the rise will continue or not, but if it gaps up on Monday I would sell. But follow your own strategy and good luck !
Thanks Tom, been in Switzerland when I was 14, it's a marvelous country :)
Looks like the is not over yet.......3+
Know about this stock for awhile. I believe there are warrants for this company. Forget the symbol but there are 2 of them. Anyone has more info on them like the exercise price and expired date.
Thanks.
... be carefull with that pattern as it shows indecision. But ISON has already gone further than I could imagine, it may just continue surprising me, I sure hope so.
About the warrants pcstock, I can't answer your questions, but I can tell you one thing: if I were you I would run from warrants like the plague. I know many people who went bankrupt with that financial derivative, specially in Europe, you can't imagine what happened there with warrants.
lets see what shakes
bought ISON @ 3.53
I still like ISON...shorts gotta be exhausted. They are really packed in there. Holdin it overnight to see what shakes.

Hi Dave, Take a look at ison.
Thanks soxguy :) I find ISON with a very dangerous chart pattern. I could never buy this stock at this stage, it all points to lower prices in the short term. But good luck !
what are anyones thoughts on Ison???? theres alot of news all the time but nothing happens ??? ???
ISON guys are good at PR. Unless they come up with some meaningful sale the current state will continue. Also dont forget that there are lot of angry guys sitting desparately in each red bar, just wanting to get breakeven, whenever the opportunity arises. Thats why you see sell off on any PR. I have successfully traded this stock many times in the past, but at current levels, its slowly sinking.
Two NeutroTest Units Delivered to Customer in Germany
GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 2005--Isonics Corporation (NASDAQ:ISON - News), committed to the development of next-generation technology for homeland security, semiconductor and life sciences, has announced the first sales of its portable, handheld NeutroTest(TM) explosive detection devices. The Company has delivered two first generation NeutroTest units to a privately-held engineering company in Germany.
The purchaser of these NeutroTest units is expected to use them to search for and evaluate unexploded military ordnance and other explosives, according to James Alexander, Isonics' Chairman & CEO.
"We are gratified to have completed the sale and delivery of these first generation NeutroTest devices on schedule in the second calendar quarter, as previously announced," Mr. Alexander said. "We also look forward to receiving operational feedback from the customer, which we'll use to help enhance the NeutroTest's design and capabilities."
NeutroTest uses neutron technology to detect the presence of explosives concealed in suitcases, containers and packages - even when hidden behind dense materials such as steel that can thwart other common security detection methods, such as x-ray systems. Isonics developed the NeutroTest explosive detection technology with longtime technology partner, Institut fur Umwelttechnologien, or IUT-Berlin, a company that Isonics recently executed a letter of intent agreement to acquire.
After receiving appropriate governmental approvals, Isonics plans to market to potential NeutroTest customers in government and the private sector. The Company believes NeutroTest will help first responders and other security personnel to evaluate suspicious packages, small suitcases and other items for the presence of concealed explosives.
Huge volume!! :o
Look a possible breakout @ 3.50 USD to enter. ;)
Anyone have any thoughts?
many many thoughts about ISON.
Made a lot with it but lost some to.
It is a PR company at the moment.
PR stock goes up......after that stock goes down.
Everybody waits for the homeland security contracts.
It has huge potential but be carefull, finger on the button.
Gr N
ps they have good management.
ISON is not a buy unless it clears all ppl who are holding the stock at 4 to 6 range currently. Hate to use the word bag holder, but thats it.
Best way to play ISON imo is wait for a low point under $3 and just hold for the next terror alert or PR, as was mentioned earlier. Never ever buy ISON after a news related pop because it always pulls back. It remains to be seen if their bomb detection device is the reral deal or just a bunch of hype.
On the ISON bandwagon now.
with 1/2 position
Applaud LuxAA
when other security stocks are making big moves, I wonder ISON the former momo king will not be left behind.
For ISON to make a true upside move, it has to close above 3.65 today, otherwise :(
Break of the downtrend line. Back above the 50-day MA.
Great volume and nice move north.

Isonics Introduces Homeland Security Product that Detects and Identifies Chemical Weapons and Toxic Substances in Buildings and Mass Transit Facilities
Monday October 17, 6:00 am ET
GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2005--Isonics Corporation (NASDAQ:ISON - News), committed to the development of next-generation technology for the homeland security and semiconductor markets, has launched marketing and sales of a new system that monitors and identifies chemical weapons and toxic substances in airports, mass transit facilities, sports venues, and in public and private sector office buildings.
Isonics' EnviroSecure(TM) system, which is available for immediate sale and installation, is based on proven ion mobility spectroscopy (IMS) technology (a "sniffer" technology) originally developed by Isonics' minority-owned German subsidiary IUT-Berlin. Earlier generations of this product have been in continuous use at the German parliament building since 1999, effectively monitoring the air for toxic substances and chemical weapons.
"We are very excited to bring this unique detection system to market and are presently in discussions with potential buyers," said James Alexander, Chairman and CEO of Isonics Corporation. "Taking into account our country's subway systems, airports, train stations, entertainment and sports venues, government buildings as well as office buildings all over the U.S., we estimate the potential U.S. market to be in excess of $5 billion."
The Isonics system is designed to continuously monitor the air and immediately detect and identify harmful substances at the parts per billion (ppb) level, providing warning to officials of a possible attack in a matter of minutes.
"This monitoring system addresses known weaknesses in U.S. homeland security, and can provide crucial early detection of a chemical weapons attack, such as the 1995 Sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway," said Boris Rubizhevsky, President of Isonics' Homeland Security and Defense subsidiary.
Homeland defense industry experts rate chemical weapons or gas attacks as the second biggest threat next to explosives. EnviroSecure(TM) is designed to monitor public environments with high concentrations of people and identify threats quickly, allowing time to effectively employ emergency procedures.
Isonics' turnkey monitoring solution includes system design, engineering, hardware, software, installation, training and maintenance. After receipt of an order, Isonics anticipates that the EnviroSecure(TM) system could be installed and become fully operational within four to 12 months; however, the time frame will vary depending on the size and complexity of each installation. EnviroSecure(TM) hardware will be manufactured for Isonics under contract in Germany. Initially Isonics will market the EnviroSecure(TM) system solely through its existing sales organization. Due to the sizeable market opportunity, the company expects to expand its marketing and sales effort through independent sales representatives who are already marketing to the homeland security marketplace.
About Isonics Corporation
Isonics Corporation has three business divisions: (1) Isonics Semiconductor, (2) Isonics Life Sciences, and (3) Homeland Security and Defense. Isonics is a world leader in isotopically engineered materials and through its semiconductor division produces isotopically pure silicon-28 chemicals, silicon-on-insulator wafers, wafer reclaim services and test wafers, including 300mm, for the semiconductor industry. Isonics' Life Sciences division markets and sells isotopes to the health care industry for the imaging and treatment of cancer. Stable isotopes can be thought of as ultra pure materials. This high degree of purification provides enhanced properties as compared to natural materials. Our efforts in the Homeland Security segment are nascent at the present time as we proceed to develop further our neutron-based detection technologies. Isonics introduces security 'sniffer'
Monday October 17, 12:35 pm ET
Isonics Corp. has rolled out a product designed to sniff out potential chemical weapons and toxic substances in public places, including sports stadiums and airports.
The Golden company (NASDAQ: ISON - News) says its EnviroSecure system is based on a sniffer technology developed by the company's minority-owned subsidiary, IUT-Berlin. Earlier generations of the technology have been in use at the German parliament building since 1999.
Isonics said the system is available for immediate purchase and installation, although installation could take four to 12 months depending upon the size and complexity of the facility to be protected.
James Alexander, chairman and CEO of Isonics, said the company is in discussions with potential buyers.
"Taking into account or country's subway systems, airports, train stations, entertainment and sports venues, government buildings as well as office buildings all over the U.S., we estimate the potential U.S. market to be in excess of $5 billion," he said in a statement.
The EnviroSecure system is designed to detect and identify harmful substances at the parts per billion level and to offer a warning within minutes.

Isonics Shares Surge on Introduction of Chemical Weapons Monitoring System
NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of Isonics Corp. soared 29.7 percent Monday after the developer of isotope-based products introduced a new system designed to monitor and identify chemical weapons and toxic substances in airports, office buildings and other venues.
The Golden, Colo., company's shares rose 62 cents, to $2.71 in early afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. Volume was about 3.1 million, more than five times the average of about 600,000. Despite the jump, the company's shares were far from the 52-week high of $6.50, reached a year ago, and somewhat closer to the low of $1.71 hit in May.
Isonics' new EnviroSecure system uses a "sniffer" technology to detect harmful substances and provide warning in a matter of minutes, the company said.
Viewing the country's subway systems, airports, train stations, entertainment and sports venues, government buildings and private office buildings as possible customers, the company said it estimates the potential U.S. market to exceed $5 billion. Isonics had revenue of $10.1 million in its 2005 fiscal year, which ended April 30.
An earlier version of the product was developed by Isonics' minority-owned German subsidiary, IUT-Berlin, and has been used in the German parliament building since 1999.
The company said the technology can be installed within four to 12 months after the initial order.

Whats up Wrangler. I think I would wait for volume confirmation and a break of that down trend before I committed to buying. The news is promising though.
Hi pompano
That was what I was going to do. notice I said in post it might be getting ready for breakout and asked for opinoin's. Alway's wait for confirmation for breakout on one of this kind of set-up because even if it is heading for a breakout it might trade sideway's for a month before breakout but I did one chart with the breakout lines to confirm when it might be going, it was @1.30. Also usually when MACD get's closer to centerline is when it is about to happen.
I'll be keeping eye on it and will post when I think it might be going. This could be a good play for some good returns.
Goodluck trading to all. :)
Picked up some @ $0.90 for a trade...so far so good.
was up to $1.15 today but came back down :-\
Looking at the big picture (year scale) the stock may have touched the descending trendline and is heading back down...I can't post a pic right now :(
Any other analysis is welcome.
Jody
ISON looking interesting. Maybe a G-pattern setting up....if it can break .90 and close above ;D
Keep an eye on this one - Recent news hints at a possible bottom approaching. New management and finally revenues growing...

Isonics Corporation Reaches Agreement With Lender
Wednesday April 11, 12:19 pm ET
-- Seeks To Regain Compliance With Nasdaq Listing Requirements
-- Raises $2 Million in Additional Capital for Growth
-- Lender Foregoes Right to Convert Debentures Into Common Stock Until After February 28, 2008
GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Isonics Corporation (NASDAQ: ISON - News), a provider of innovative solutions for the homeland security and semiconductor markets, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Cornell Capital Partners, L.P. ("Cornell" or the "Lender) under which the Lender has modified their existing debentures in a manner that will allow the Company to reclassify a component of their existing debentures as equity. Isonics believes this reclassification will result in gaining compliance with Nasdaq Listing Requirements. Cornell has also agreed to forego the right to convert its debentures into common stock until after February 28, 2008 and has invested an additional $2 million in the Company to support future growth.
"As an investor, we feel it is important to support Isonics and the leadership of Christopher Toffales," said Mark A. Angelo, President of Cornell. "It is for this reason that we have agreed to modify the terms of our existing debentures so they are not an impediment to the Company's attempt to regain compliance with the Nasdaq listing requirements, not to convert any of our debentures until after February 28, 2008 and to provide additional growth capital. We are confident in the ability of Chris and his team to restructure the Company's business, and look forward to working with Isonics to support their efforts."
Cornell, the holder of 6% debentures with a principal amount of $16 million, which are convertible into the Company's common stock, has eliminated certain restrictions in the existing debentures that will allow the Company to reclassify a portion of the debenture from a derivative liability to equity. Isonics has submitted a plan of compliance to Nasdaq showing that the equity reclassification, along with its equity of $2.1 million at January 31, 2007, exceeds the shareholder equity requirements continued inclusion under Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(2)(B). Nasdaq Capital Market Rule 4310(c)(2)(B) requires that Isonics maintain stockholders' equity of at least $2.5 million. The Company expects to meet this threshold when it files its 10-K, for the period ending April 30, 2007, with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Cornell also agreed today to forego the right to convert any of its Debentures into the Company's common stock until after February 28, 2008. The Lender could have commenced conversion beginning in November 2006 but has refrained from doing so. Isonics has agreed to increase the interest rate on the Debentures to 13% until April 8, 2008. Subsequently, the interest rate on the debenture will be reduced to 11%, and will decline to 7.75% commencing on October 9, 2008 for the remainder of the term. Cornell also invested an additional $2 million into the Company in order to enhance Isonics' restructuring activities and provide working capital to further support the growth and development of the Company's Semiconductor and Homeland Security divisions.
"We are pleased that Cornell has agreed to restructure the terms of its debentures and has increased its investment in the Company," said Mr. Toffales, Chairman of Isonics. "Over the past four weeks, Isonics has made significant progress in reducing expenses and streamlining operations. We believe these efforts will deliver improved results."
