10% early not bad seeing a little ressistance though :-\
Appears AIDO is about to hit it's 9-day moving average and that a few bidders are lined up on level 2 @ $.21.
This may be a good entry point. We'll see soon. ;)

New Kind of Cattle Branding:
An ID Number
By ILAN BRAT
March 1, 2006; Page B1
In a new twist on cattle branding, U.S. livestock may now get individual identification numbers.
Today in Washington, a nonprofit industry group plans to launch a program that aims to assign each cow, bison and other livestock its own 15-digit number and track their movements in a national database. Animals would be tagged, perhaps in the ear with a bar code or a radio-frequency chip. Another alternative: a chip could be implanted beneath the animal's skin.
The goal is to make it easier for animal health officials to track the source of any outbreak of mad-cow or other animal disease -- and limit its scope. The U.S. is far behind Canada and European Union countries in sophisticated methods to track livestock.
Under the plan, which is voluntary, every time an animal is sold, its number and buyer is registered in the database to help pinpoint its movements. In the event of a disease outbreak, this information could help locate previous owners of the infected animal and other animals it possibly had contact with. Officials could then impose quarantines or other restrictions.
Lack of such a system hampered U.S. investigators following the first U.S. case of mad-cow disease in 2003. They found only 27 of the 80 cows reared with an infected holstein on an Alberta, Canada, dairy farm.
U.S. ranchers have long resisted an ID tracking program partly because they fear they may be liable for a food-safety problem. But McDonald's Corp. and other large beef customers have been pushing for it. Federal regulators also have been prodding the industry for such a system. The lack of one has made foreign trading partners nervous. Japan, once the country's largest export beef market, has a ban on U.S. beef imports.
[madcow]
To track the nation's cattle, cows would be tagged with an ID number, perhaps in the ear.
The new system, with an estimated start-up cost of $2.5 million to $3 million, is part of a pilot effort that has been tracking about 300,000 animals in the Southeast and Northwest. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will issue the codes and the U.S. Animal Identification Organization, a nonprofit industry group, will administer the database.
Pigs, chickens and other poultry could be part of the program, and are likely to be identified by group lot or coop. They, like cattle, aren't completely anonymous now: livestock owners have methods of identifying their animals, whether it's branding cattle, an ear tattoo for swine or a coop number for poultry.
So far, industry response to an ID system has been tepid. In 2004, the USDA, along with state veterinary offices, started a voluntary program for livestock producers and suppliers to register the location of their animals. Of about two million such locations in the country, including feedlots and auction houses, only about 200,000 have registered, the USDA says.
Neil Hammerschmidt, the USDA's national identification system coordinator, says customers -- from processors to consumers -- are likely to demand to know where the meat comes from. "Producers are recognizing that it's to their benefit in the long run to help protect the health of the national herd," says Rick Stott, chairman of the Northwest Pilot Project, which is part of the pilot program.

take a look at this chart...looks bullish...any comments??
By the way, AIDO seems to be in a similar business like STTK excpet for the security industry. RFID tags to monitor livestock, etc. ;)
just got out at $0.46...a quick trade...smiling Benjamins! made up partly for not staying in STTK longer... ;D
hmmm...based on STTK movement, this is the next thing in "virus/disease" monitoring of livestock. Wish I would have known about this a few days ago! haha, but then so does everyone!

GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZ!!! I don't believe this...I sold for profits...and I thought I've made up partly for my quick sell on STTK...and this one roars ahead and finishes at $0.66 !!!!!! :( >:( :(
I don't believe my luck....for some reason, the fact that I had a green day today seem hardly any consolation....I simply cannot believe my luck on this one after what happened at STTK ....geez! :(
I bought back in right around close at $0.68 ....wish me luck fellahs!
I think you will be ok Vic. I have no evidence, just my gut feeling. I hope my gut feeling is right because I didn't sell at .71 earlier. I do think this will be like STTK. Heck, the product is almost the same, but for bigger livestock which would seem more plausible. Incidentally, I got in at .489. ;D
Anyone think there will be a huge sell off tomorrow or another continued run?
the friggin' indicators point to a run...the MACD is still at 0.02...as opposed to stocks like STTK that have their MACD's at 0.15 etc....the RSI is only at 81 and there is more room to run...
purely based on technicals, I say there is lots of room to run...and resistances were taken out like needles in the wind today...
a.) first resistance at $0.43 fell first....
b.) then fell the $0.65 resistance...
c.) and tomorrow the first resistance to be tested is $0.75...after that....
d.) the all time high of $1.35 should be tested.
Of course, don't ignore possibility of any news...just my thoughts. ;)
Good year teamed up with these folks recently..so watch out. ;)
Vic, excuse my ignorance, I am learning...could you explain what MACD is and RSI. I used to know what RSI is, but forgot.... ::)

"Advanced ID Corp. Moves Forward With Avian Flu Application; Contracts Are Pending for $13 Million DataTRAC(TM) UHF / RFID Tracking Program in Taiwan
Wednesday April 5, 7:00 am ET"
Okay, so will some money from other BB stocks pour onto this one today...?? We'll see...
yesterday's close was $0.66 and right now,
BID X ASK is 0.82 X 0.825
good luck to those playing this one today...my big question is, do I trade this or hold it? ;)
Whooohooo! Vic, you sound much more experienced than me. But, I am gonna keep it for a few days. That seems to be the pattern of these bird flu momo stocks! ;D GL
just sold at $1.18...i'm not gonna frown if it goes higher...gotta learn to be happy with green.
what r ide since yesterday....in at $0.35, out at $0.46 (22K shares)
in at $0.68, out at $1.18 (13K shares)
wonder how it would have been had I kept my initial 22K shares...STOP, vic, STOP...be happy! ;)
I tried selling from 1.35 all the way down to .88....Could never get my market or limit order to execute. So, im still in! :P
How do you get ur orders to execute?
hi,
you have to line up like the reat of us retailers.
it can be tough to get in or out when a stock is moving fast. best to wait for the dust to settle.
thanks
maxi
Ya, I knew that....just wondering if he had some secret way! :P
Wonder why AIDO is taking a huge hit now???
I got in at .88 and couldn't get out either. damn!

How do you get ur orders to execute?
Here's what I did....was looking at level 2 right from open....saw it kept going up without a break, with no real downticks...thought I'll pull the trigger at $1.00, but the bids were lining up and ask was thinning...and after it took out $1.00, I thought it'll get weaker, so had my finger on the trigger, but it was still going strong...right about when it went to $1.13 or so, I put in a limit sell order at $1.07....the thing went going higher, and finally whern the bid was at $1.18 and ask was at $1.19, it took my sell order, probably 1 minute after I entered it.
The trick is:
1.) always sell when you still see buying power and upticks instead of when it is going down.
2.) set your limit order several steps below the market bid price only then do u have a chance of getting filled , especially during rapid price movements.
I set my sell order when the stock was still experiencing buying power...not when it turned the tide.
I've experienced with several pennies, that it's useless to chase when buying power is great, and likewise, useless to sell when everyone has theoir orders to sell.
kinda like, sell to strenght and buy into weakness.
good luck! hope you get out with a profit. :)
Thanks vic! Anyone have any idea what happend today? You think what happend (news wise) with STTK (which pissed me off since I lost there) affected them?
I got clobbered on this thing today.
Went in at 1.25 couldnt take it anymore and got out at .81. My first trade. Not a great beginning. Gonna have to learn this game better I guess. Been plunking money into Scottrade for a month to start this and lost 40% of my funds in one day. I bought NMKT after that (.64). I will quit if it goes down tomorrow.
Vista-
Been there, done that.
Why don't you paper trade for a little while. ;)
You had good stocks, just off on the timing.
Hang in there. ;D
vista...cheer up man. i understand what u r going through...NMKT will be a good one for you...most likely to go higher...haven't looked at it's chart after close today though.
paper trade might help with NASDAQ/NYSE stocks...a.k.a the moderately slow movers, but paper trades doesnt involve emotions....something that you'll have to learn to deal with ESPECIALLY while playing high momemntum, volatile penny stocks.

good luck to those playing this one today...my big question is, do I trade this or hold it? ;)
looks like my trading strategy worked today...my day was done in the first 10 minutes today..after that, all I've been doing was taking care of my sick gf at the hospital. poor her! :(
Hope she is ok Vic...
I think the "bad news" on STTK killed AIDO today. Unless someone else has a reason why it lost EVERYTHING in 5 minutes. Hopefully, she will recover tomorrow.
Any thoughts?
texas....sorry couldn't post earlier...still at the hospital. thanks for your wishes! :)
i just looked at the chart...cannot post one, sorry, but the high from back in nov. 2004 was $0.77. No doubt it was taken out today...in fact, all time high of $1.37 was also takenj out....but the close was not above either of those two highs.
The MACD still shows room to run (positive about that)...and the RSI still has legs (currently at 83, could easily go upto 90)...the stochasticsh show indecisiveness today....so I'd say tomorrow is crucial....
first resistance is $0.77, then the $1.00 will prove psychological resistance...beyond that, I cannot speculate.
good luck.....
I'm in an all cash position after my trade earliert this morning...no time to scan through stocks with enough confidence to buy into a few.
hope you make some benjamins in the morning! ;)
A little confused at how can the price move in premarket for an OTCBB stock... ??? Either way, it's not too good that it is moving down... >:(
Why are they falling....???
I'm covering for yesteryday with today's dips. I don't mind as long as we eventually go back up. .56 for this is nice! :)
But I have no idea why it's down. My only guess is that the STTK news is killing other bird flu related stocks. Anyone else?
Well, terrible last 2 days....I hope if this was "STTK influenced", it will end soon.
It looks like AIDO is stablizing and starting to head back up. It's actually holding up quite well considering where it was before the the run-up. For th week, we're still up 72%. That's more that most stock run in a year. This company is only starting to be noticed. Noticed that prior to the new coming out, it make a fantastic run. This stock still has mileage. It will continue to make steady progress. I have a gut feeling more news will be coming out next week about progress in more deals.
i have a bullish outlook on this stock with a price target of 3.56 before year end. Next week, we should be seeing more good news from the company. My short term price target for this stock is 1.30.
I think this should be moved to the "3StocksSinkingLikeARock" board.... >:(
Any stock that can go up 125% in a morning only to lose most of it by days end is not for the faint at heart. This is another stock that I have added to my losing streak. >:( But I agree with over a dollar in a few months. Waiting game.
NEWS NEWS
I wonder what the price will do this morning? Get on for the ride...
Tuesday April 11, 8:00 am ET
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060411/0122438.html
I'm expecting the company to come with with additional new before weeeks end of a deal closing in Asia. It could be one of the two that were already mention: Taiwan or Thailand. When this news comes, watch out, the skies the limit.
If you look at the companies PR history, you'll notice that they come out with a PR at least once every 2 weeks in the past. They definately know good PR will drive their stock up. That's why these past couple of weeks, you've seen PRs that introduce the proposals they have that are nearing finalization. When the news hits that they closed. This stock will be above $1. It appears the selling has subsided, so the stock should be steadily climbing back up.
I'm suprised this stock didn't pop more considering the effect the first PR had when it was only $5,000,000. This most recent new about Thailand was pegged at $25,000,000. Ths is 5X more than the Taiwan deal. Perhaps folks are a little weary after STTK.
Glad to see it held around 50% of it's daily HOD. Hopefully, it will trickle upwards and now downwards like it had been doing since early last week.
Perhaps it was STTK or maybe because after the last run up it lost all of it's steam and people got burnt. I'm happy though. I think it held up very well by close. I'll hold on until one of these deals gets signed. Anyone know how long something like this might take? I have absolutely no experience with Taiwanese/Chinese governmental red tape. I know that they are trying to get this implemented relatively quickly but who knows how long that will take.
Yup, there is the "breakeven dump" I we hoping wouldn't happen.... trickle down time again, im afraid...
Well, there we go. Back to where we were before yesterday. I guess that shows investor confidence.
At this moment, its all about action. Talk of potential contracts is not good enough. Once deals closes, this stock will rise. There's nothing like a confirmed deal. All this stock need for investors to flock to it is one confirmed deal.
If you look at the chart below, it's still trending very well from a few months ago. The upward trend is going to continue. Be patience. When bird flu reaches our continent (mean Mexico, Canada or US). These stocks are going to spike. Then when the deals are closed this stock will continue to go up. At these levels, I'll be accumulating more. Any lost you may have now is only on paper. ;D
What a nice finish today! This is the first time before last weeks downslide have we closed on the HOD. This momentum should continue onto tommorow. Perhaps news is coming out about a closed deal. We went as low as .50 and climbed all the way to .60. For a .02 gain for the day. Those who got in on the low made at least 25% on today's move.
The move today is similar to what happened the day before the big move last week. We ended high on the day and went higher the following day. I think tomorrow will be another fruitful day. Stay in for the ride. Good luck!
Tomorrow is Good Friday so no trading. Hopefully good news over the holiday for a strong Monday open.
I sure hope so on Monday, but to be honest, I am not expecting it. I hate to say it, I think it will settle back to mid .50's unless, like you said above, confirmation of a deal is made.
This is a good time to review some of the past press releases. If you take look at this PR dated on 3/28/06 (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060328/20060328005671.html?.v=1). Allen Zhang, Chairman of Carlyle RFID Technologies, Inc (Advanced ID Corp's distributor in Guangdong Province) notes the following:
"The program managers in the province are working on a complete poultry identification and trace-back program and have looked at the Thailand program as an effective model. The Thailand program relies heavily on products, database capture capabilities and technology developed by Advanced ID Corp. The test results and data have consistently been outstanding. We expect that the Chinese program will closely emulate the Thailand model."
If anything, this signals a possible deal with Guangdong Province of China. My guess is that Guangdong is the test bed for the implemention. Once it's been accepted and approved, I wouldn't be suprise to see more province in China follow suit.
I think this is new news, just not officially on the wire yet. They are only up 1.67% today. Could do very nicely once more people see this. Link and text below:

Advanced ID Corporation Confirms Avian Flu Application In Thailand
4/17/2006
Advanced ID Corporation (OTC BB: AIDO) -- Dr. Kummalue Pongsak, Director of 4P Technology Ltd and advisor to the Dept of Agriculture in Thailand, confirmed today that the Advanced ID DataTRAC™ UHF/RFID system has been certified as the best proposal for the containment of bird flu in Thailand. "The Department of Agriculture of Thailand supervised the testing sites for both cattle and chickens which proved the effectiveness of the DataTRAC™ UHF/RFID Product and system. The proposal from Advanced ID was presented to the Minister of Agriculture as well as the Livestock Department. 4P Technology Ltd will administrate the implementation program on behalf of Advanced ID Corporation. The three-year program includes readers and tags totaling an investment of $26,000,000.00 from the Thailand Government. Advanced ID will provide the database management to include chicken coops, processing plants, checkpoints, as well as slaughter house integration. There are over 700,000,000 poultry per year processed and approximately 11,000 farms that are all included in the total requirements for this program. We have been working for several months on establishing a certified RFID identification program for livestock and feel we must also incorporate the avian flu application into our budget proposal. It is obvious that the containment of bird flu identification is of utmost urgency and the Thailand government is addressing this issue on a top priority basis. This does not curtail the importance of cattle ID, but simply means we must move very quickly on the adoption of the Advanced ID system. The implementation of the system is in final budget approval from the Department of Agriculture."
Chinese RFID market to grow at 82.4% a year
RFID vertical application market was estimated at RMB 1.477 billion in China in 2005, in which ultrahigh frequency (UHF) RFID application accounted for only 10.6% at RMB 156 million. IDC predicts that by 2010, the total market revenue will reach RMB 29.837 billion, with a forecast compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for 2005-2010 of 82.4%.

Advanced ID Executives Meet With Government Officials in Beijing, China to Discuss RFID Projects
Seymour Kazimirski, Chairman, Hubert Meier, Director and Dan Finch, Director and President/CEO of Advanced ID Corp (OTCBB: AIDO) met with Chinese Government Officials. The focus of the meetings included several markets covering the tire industry in China using Advanced ID UHF tags and readers; the animal identification program for China's Country-wide pet management program and the livestock program for containment of bird flu and other diseases. The executives met also with the Beijing Police Department, who has responsibility for enforcing pet management micro-chipping. Lastly, Kazimirski, Meier and Finch met with the Chinese distributors who will actually sell the Advanced ID products in China.
As part of Advanced ID's continuing focus on Asia, Advanced ID has started selling its successful Canadian-based ISO standard pet micro-chipping system in China. The company has sold micro-chips in Guangdong and Sichuan Provinces and is now becoming approved to sell micro-chips in the Capital and the other Chinese Provinces. The Beijing meetings were successful in speeding up the approval process. With a population approximately 70 times greater then Canada, the market is the company's top international priority.
According to Dan Finch, Advanced ID's President and CEO, "We are convinced that our pet recovery product line, including our Chinese language PETrac database management software, our ISO micro-chip and our new Chinese character reader will form the basis for the country of China to standardize on the PETrac pet management system and the rest of the Advanced ID pet recovery product line. China is the largest country in the world to mandate pet micro-chipping and Advanced ID's PETrac is the system best suited to meet the enormous demands of the Chinese requirement.
"The meetings for the tire industry were centered on China-wide distribution with the largest tire manufacturers in China. As China is the largest maker of truck tires in the world, the need for Advanced ID's RFID systems will be a very lucrative segment of the industry. We are currently reviewing distribution agreements for country-wide adoption for China and will implement our systems by next quarter. With over 170 Million tires produced in China, our goal is to be come very aggressive in this marketplace."
