Advanced Battery Technologies Announces Successful Manufacturing Tests

Nano-Structured Lithium Titanate Spinel Electrode Materials Provide Fast Charge and Discharge Rates, Improved Cycle Life for Electric Bus and Auto Projects

HARBIN, CHINA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/10/05 -- Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: ABAT) announced today that the manufacturing and product tests using Altair
Nanotechnologies Inc.'s (NASDAQ: ALTI) nano-structured lithium titanate
spinel electrode materials have been successful. The company announced
further progress in its Polymer Lithium Ion Battery Development Program:

1. Advanced Battery Technologies has contracted with Harbin University of
Science and Technology to design the electrical controls and management
system for a sedan conversion using Altair's advanced nanotechnology
electrode materials in its lithium polymer batteries.

2. Advanced Battery Technologies also has entered into a cooperative
agreement with the Beijing Institute of Technology for the development
and testing of four electric buses to be built by Advanced Battery
as prototypes for the 2008 Olympic Electric Bus Program.

The all-electric buses will be manufactured using Advanced Batteries
polymer lithium ion batteries under Advanced Battery Technologies'
Cooperation Agreement with Beijing Institute of Technology ("BIT") for the
development of Easy Access, All Electric Buses. The prototype buses, to be
manufactured by Advanced Battery, are to be completed by the first half of
2006 with testing to be completed in August 2006. The results of the tests
of the prototypes will be used to determine the companies that will be
selected to supply the buses to be used in the 2008 Olympics.

"The buses will provide direct road test comparison of performance, cost,
and acceptability," said Advanced Battery Chairman, Zhiguo Fu. "The impact
of high power delivery, rapid recharge, and a long cycle life, will be
demonstrated in one of the buses using advanced nanomaterials from Altair
in the batteries. The use of Altair's electrode materials in our PLI
batteries," continued Mr. Fu, "will enable us to provide battery
performance that could present opportunities in new markets that would
benefit from batteries with fast charge and discharge times, superior life
cycle performance and improved life cycle economics."

Tarliso,

Do you think this will fall to the 50 MA?  Might be a good buy then.

Seems to have been a lot of dilution ...

current ... 49.6 million shares
2005  ... 25 million shares
2004  ... 12.9 million shares

Yahoo had a nice article on them and seems like they have a positive future at least for the next year.  That's when I started paying attention.  Dilution is a big concern though.

You guys timed it great.  I'll be paying attention to this one.

The most recent uptrend line that I could see is the red line.
However, using symemetry and combined with the other indicators, it looks like the blue uptrend line has a more logical and sustainable angle of attack.
The green uptrend line is another possibility that I could see.
Let's see which one the market decides to use.

Candlestick Analysis
Today's Candlestick Patterns:
White Closing Marubozu
Today a White Closing Marubozu was formed. This shows that the day opened and then prices went lower slightly, however it was followed by a rally that drove the prices over the opening price and the rally continued all day ending with a closing price equal to the high of the day.

Important Factors:

What a White Closing Marubozu says about the future course of the prices depends a lot on the general picture just as in the case of White Marubozu. White Closing Marubozu can possibly be the first part of a bullish continuation pattern or it may also be interpreted as a bearish reversal candlestick pattern depending on the preceding day's candlesticks.

The White Closing Marubozu is a single candlestick pattern with low reliability. It only reflects one day's trading and it may show the continuation of the trend but it may also indicate reversal. It needs to be used with other candlesticks for a better and healthier judgment about the status of the trend.

One of these days I think it will stay above 3.0 for good.  It broke out, then retraced for a while, then moved back up yesterday, and now back below 3 - but today on low volume.  I do think it will go up for good one of these days.  At least the moving averages - no matter which ones you look at - all basically have a positive slope.

Title: Re: ABAT.OB

Maybe today is the day it will stay above 3 for good?!?   :o

ABAT was fun to own today with nearly 8% gain.  And is looking bullish for tomorrow by closing at the high of the day.  In fact it closed at the same price as 3 weeks ago when the following day it put the smack down on some traders with a real ugly big red candle - closing back below 3.  I think now will be different though as it has already retraced from the breakout to test the 2.70's and has come back.

Check out the volume increase this afternoon on the 10 min chart.  I'd like to see a minimum of 400k vol, or preferably 500 to 600k to confirm a healthy breakout for several sessions at least.  Looking at the chart, ABAT is capable of big moves so I wouldn't be surprised about what moves we could see soon.  Hopefully up!   ::)

Yes, fous has had this on his bull list several times as far back as April 12.  There is also a thread on **********.net on the penny board.

Volume is looking good today currently at 342,000 and up 0.19.  If it can hold the gains today, it will be a nice day and set new 52 week high.  Very bullish looking IMHO.

Very nice indeed!   ;D  This is what was needed and gives a much better chance of maintaining a breakout above say 3.1.  High volume, with an intraday retracement to test the previous intraday high at 3.35, then moved back up.  Check out the 5 min chart to see this.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another solid day tomorrow but also could consolidate a little.  Only tomorrow knows.   ;)

Breakout still rolling strong with great volume.  I would expect at least a temporary top soon so if it hits around 4 intraday early next week I may take profit - maybe half my shares.  I think this one has good future potential as the current PE is still only 19 and sales/earnings are growing fast.

Also look at the weekly chart, it also looks very bullish.   ;)
