Smart-tek CEO Meets With Chinese Officials On Avian Flu
Monday November 21, 9:55 am ET

CORTE MADERA, Calif., Nov. 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Smart-tek Solutions, Inc. (OTC BB:STTK.OB - News) announced today that the company has met and discussed with the Chinese government to immediately prepare for test trials of its RFID monitoring and tracking technologies at a poultry farm in China, in the fight against the possible spread of the H5N1 Avian Influenza.

Upon his return from China, Mr. Donald Gee, Chairman and CEO of Smart-tek Solutions, Inc. announced, ``We had highly successful and encouraging meetings and discussions with Chinese officials from the Ministry of Science and Technology.'' He added, ``For the Chinese government, this is an area of such immediate and grave concern in their fight against the spread of the Bird Flu. The Ministry of Science and Technology has a team that is charged with monitoring the Avian Flu in China and is seeking solutions to assist in the surveillance of poultry as well as other livestock.''

Mr. Goodwin Wang, Managing Director of SES Investments (China) Ltd., who accompanied Mr. Gee to the meetings in Beijing said, ``We were advised at the meeting with the Ministry of Science and Technology, that this Ministry has the authority to issue a national mandatory directive to require the use of RFID technology by all poultry farms.''

On November 15, 2005, the Ministry of Science and Technology arranged for Mr. Gee to visit a poultry farm in the outskirts of Beijing, China to evaluate and assess the logistics of the proposed test trial. Mr. Gee stated, ``This one facility raises and processes 30 million chickens annually. The sheer number of birds, of all species in China, is simply astonishing.''

On November 17, 2005, China confirmed its first human deaths from the H5N1 avian flu virus, saying one person in Anhui province had died and another in Hunan province was suspected of having been killed by the H5N1 strain. ``We expect there will be more poultry outbreaks to come,'' said Henk Bekedam, World Health Organization's chief official in Beijing, noting that the H5N1 virus that causes bird flu flourishes in autumn and winter months.

Smart-tek Solutions, Inc.'s strategy for the possible containment of the Bird Flu virus is to leverage its expertise in the security, surveillance and monitoring sectors.

Smart-tek Solutions, Inc. technology includes but is not limited to the ability to tag, program and count the specific number of birds, with end user defined rules, utilizing RFID protocols. Data such as 1) the number of birds 2) owner information 3) location information 4) species information and 5) inspection dates can all be programmed utilizing case by case specific needs of Organizations, Governments and Agencies.

50ema about to cross 200ema to the upside. This is set up for a huge technical breakout not to mention they track and contain the bird flu. STTK could see a major move here from both a technical view and world events (sector).

2 goals ahead in bird flu control: Health minister

www.chinaview.cn 2005-11-22 19:32:17

SHANGHAI, Nov. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- China is endeavoring to achieve two goals in the fight against highly pathogenic avian influenza, according to China's Health Minister Gao Qiang.

One of the goals is to effectively prevent bird flu from jumping to human beings, and the other is to maintain the normal order of production and living of the people, Gao said during a meeting with French Health Minister Xavier Bertrand in Shanghai on Monday.

China has reported bird flu outbreaks in about 150 villages in 20 counties so far this year. In Heishan County of Liaoning Province alone, 80 percent of the villages were hit by the deadly epidemic.

Two human bird flu cases have been confirmed. One of the patients died and the other has been discharged from hospital after recovery.

The health authority is taking various measures to prevent human beings from infection though no human-to-human infection of bird flu has been reported, the Chinese health minister said.

He said China has established special control and prevention organs at different levels to combat bird flu and launched a strict epidemic surveillance and report system, in addition to related laws.

Every highly pathogenic bird flu case will be made public once it is confirmed by experts, he said.

All localities where bird flu outbreaks were reported have adopted strict prevention measures and all persons who have contact with silk or dead poultry will have to undergo medical observation.

China has also begun a strict quarantine on the export of poultry and fowl products, Gao said. Enditem

STTK:  China Reports Bird Flu Outbreak In Inner Mongolia Region

11/25/2005
Dow Jones News Services
(Copyright © 2005 Dow Jones & Company, Inc.)

BEIJING (AP)--China detected a new bird flu outbreak in the northern Inner Mongolia region, the Agricultural Ministry said Friday, bringing the total number of outbreaks for the country in recent weeks to at least 22.

The latest outbreak killed 246 birds at a farm in the city of Zalantun on Nov. 20, prompting officials to kill 16,567 birds in the area, a statement from the Agriculture Ministry said.

The report did not specify what kind of birds were affected. Tests confirmed the birds died from the deadly H5N1 virus on Friday, it said.

China, which has the world's largest number of chickens, has called bird flu a "serious epidemic." Outbreaks in poultry are still being reported almost daily.

The leadership recently made efforts to be more aggressive and open after being reticent about releasing information during its outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS.

Earlier this week, China confirmed its second human death from bird flu - a 35-year-old farmer identified only by her surname, Xu, who died Tuesday after developing a fever and pneumonia-like symptoms following contact with sick and dead poultry.

H5N1 has resulted in the deaths of at least 67 people and more than 100 million birds in Asia since 2003.

Experts have warned that the virus may mutate into a form that's easily passed between people and trigger a pandemic that could kill millions globally.

Well.. that was a nice dump!
Of course, I didn't get out on time so instead of taking profit now I'm waiting for the stock to recover which is a big NO-NO in the trading world.

Never learn.. RSI was over 70 so what was I thinking? It will go up forever?
It needed this correction and I was supposed to take profit and reenter once the correction is over.
Another one to remember..

New security deals coming in also is good but they don't really give a time-frame on being paid..

Just waiting on another tading opp on this right now... I started a STTK board over at ihub... posted what I did over there... sold before that last run so I missed that... then warned if it breaking suppurt levels and keep an eye on them and buy off of them... GLTA and jmho

Stocks go down faster than they go up.  Here are my 2 cents we are right at the 50dma, it either bounces off from here or it tanks further to low .20's.  For now even a NR does not have much impact anymore on the PPS.

Any other opinions most welcome.

This is the biggest mistake in my trading history so far!!
I didn't get out on time because I thought they'll reach near 1 before start sliding down.
The drop happened pretty quickly and I was hoping every day it will stop and bounce back up.
Now I'm sitting on over 60% loss (in @ .66) and if this goes back to teens then I'll lose everything and I guess go into negative (I really don't know how that works).

Anyway, at this point I decided to wait out for the Jan results since I'm so much down.
What a horrible feeling but hey... it's the penny world. You gain a lot very fast and lose a lot even faster.

Hi, don't sound so down... I have better news for you today... those last few candlesticks formed a new support level at .24 so STTK is at least setting higher lows... this will happen when you have a stock that goes straight up, for all intents and purposes... today's sticks formed a nice buy signal... Just not that shot about trading this time of year, but there are always trades... We will get a better picture after the first of the year... also, I don't think there is anybody left from a group that came in an played this...I hate it when they do that, it messes up all the charts and the company doesn't really trade on its on true merit... good luck and hang in there... penny's can be great but you need to have good entry and exit strategies and stick to them...I personally have a very fast sell trigger to the down side on almost everything, especially penny stocks because you can almost always get back in later cheaper instead of ridding it down... GL and you might want to take a look at MCZ the next few weeks and longer into next year... they just signed a deal with microsoft late today... I was able to get in on the dip back to .83 after it hit .94. I think we could see old highs very soon based on news alone then take profits and back in on the profit taking with more shares.. didn't bust through the .95 support but that will break easy and then we have $1 and the a quick trip to $1.15.... that 1.15 resistence is my first exit point unless it blasts through...I usually always step/scale into and out of a position but when things move fast sometimes that is hard but you get an average price one way or the other, but an average...I think we could see blue sky prices very soon this spring or sooner.... well, don't mean to ramble, but I hope that the new STTK support and buy trigger that formed makes you feel a little better than when next support was .08 cents... GLTY

Smart-tek Solutions, Inc. Completes Successful Demonstration in China of Its Proprietary System to Monitor Poultry Flocks That May Be Subject to Avian Flu
Tuesday March 21, 10:05 am ET
Government Officials Request Costs -- Indicate Commitment to Recommend Implementation of RFID Tracking and Containment System to Central Government

CORTE MADERA, Calif., March 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Smart-tek Communications, Inc. announced today the successful completion of a demonstration in the People's Republic of China of its RFID tracking and containment system for its parent company, Smart-tek Solutions, Inc (OTC BB:STTK.OB - News).

``This is a huge step forward in the marketing of our proprietary technology solution to the world,'' said Perry Law, president of Smart-tek Communications, Inc. ``The potential dollar value of this industry segment is in the hundreds of millions of dollars and, with a viable solution developed by our Company to penetrate this market, it may provide the Company and its shareholders with a tremendous opportunity for growth,'' said Law.

More than 50 government, academic and industry experts attended the demonstrations which were conducted in Beijing. Additionally, numerous media, including CCTV (China Central TV -- the largest state-owned television broadcaster) were on hand.

``With an estimated 13 billion chickens in China, this is such an extremely critical issue that there was a very high level of interest on the part of the governmental officials who attended,'' said Perry Law. ``The general consensus was that they view the RTAC-PM (short for 'RFID Tracking Alert Containment and Poultry Monitoring) system as a viable method to monitor the threat of the deadly bird flu virus. The next step in the process is for Smart-tek to provide specific costing budgets required to implement the system according to client specifications. All indications are that the governmental officials in attendance would recommend the system to the central government.''

The system, ``RTAC-PM,'' was designed for the livestock industry and is targeted specifically for the poultry industry with user-defined alerts that may assist governmental agencies to monitor poultry movement. The RTAC-PM system incorporates leading edge technology and is customized around customers' requirements with the flexibility to adapt to various types of OEM products.

Smart-tek has an established relationship with its sole licensee, SES Investment (China) Limited, which will serve as the liaison with the central government and facilitate implementation of the system upon final approval by the appropriate authorities.

``The potential for application of the RTAC-PM system is tremendous in China,'' said Law. ``We are now ready to customize our solution to clients' needs.''

``Frankly, we were overwhelmed with the reception of the system,'' said Law. ``We've always been confident we had a 'better mouse trap,' but the high praise we received in China was third party affirmation that the RFID is a vital tool in combating what may be one of the greatest threats currently facing mankind.''

China not new to STTK's RFID type of Tracking... Look at this news I found:
http://www.computerworld.com/securitytopics/security/privacy/story/0,10801,109360,00.html

China to issue 1.3 billion RFID identification cards
Ministry undertakes one of the largest RFID projects ever

MARCH 09, 2006 (IDG NEWS SERVICE) - China's Ministry of Public Security (MPS), which oversees the country's police force, plans to issue more than 1.3 billion second-generation resident identification cards based on RFID (radio frequency identification) chips, according to an industry analyst at In-Stat China.
Based on the number of new cards to be issued, the rollout represents one of the largest RFID projects in the world, according to Anty Zheng, research director at In-Stat China.

RFID tags can send and receive data over short distances. As a result, the new ID cards can be read by a reader that is within 20 centimeters to 30 centimeters of the card, Zheng said, noting that the cards are used to store basic personal information, such as name and birth date.

"It's very cheap and easy to make," Zheng said.

MPS has so far issued 102 million new cards, and plans to issue more than 300 million new cards per year for the next several years, the ministry said this week. Only local companies are allowed to participate in the project, Zheng said.

In-Stat estimated that 100 million RFID tags were sold in China during 2005. The number of tags shipped annually in China is expected to rise quickly in coming years, hitting total sales of 2.9 billion tags by 2009, it said.

The second-generation ID card project is expected to soak up most of this demand through 2008, at which time demand for RFID tags used in retail stores is expected to dominate the market, In-Stat said.

The Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology has created a team charged with monitoring the flu and is seeking solutions to track poultry and livestock, Gee said. The ministry has the authority to issue a national mandate for the use of RFID at poultry farms, said Goodwin Wang, managing director of SES Investments Ltd. in China.

Gee hopes to leverage Smart-tek's expertise in security, surveillance, and monitoring to help the country contain the virus. The company can tag and count bird, track species, document ownership and log inspection dates, using RFID protocols. And the system can be tailored with end-user defined rules or for specific government requirements.

STTK- BIG NEWS OUT! Chinese Government Officials Request Cost Estimates of Smart-tek Solutions, Inc.'s RTAC-PM Bird Flu Containment System
3/22/2006 9:30:19 AM
CORTE MADERA, Calif., Mar 22, 2006 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Smart-tek Solutions, Inc. ( STTK ) announced today that Chinese government officials present at the successful demonstration of the Company's RFID tracking and containment system have requested detailed cost estimates for the state-of-the-art technology.

"Our sole and exclusive licensee for China, SES Investment (China) Limited, was approached by several governmental officials following the demonstration of our RTAC-PM (RFID Tracking Alert Containment and Poultry Monitoring) system," said Perry Law, President of Smart-tek Communications, Inc. "Due to the rapid spread of the H5N1 Avian Influenza across the globe, the government is pressed to find a containment solution and implement an action plan to help combat this worldwide issue before the situation deteriorates even further."

In conjunction with SES, the Company will now further analyze the requirements of the Chinese government and as expeditiously as possible provide a specific budget for the hardware, software and implementation costs to install a complete RTAC-PM system.

"With an estimated 13 billion chickens in China alone, this project represents a tremendous opportunity to further grow and diversify the Company's revenue stream," said Law. "We believe that the successful demonstration will also open up opportunities in other parts of the world that have been affected by this devastating outbreak."

1.) Would this qualify as a legitimate "G" pattern ??

2.) In any case, the pullback to $0.57 and the rise back up on decent volume the last 2 days is encouraging; goes to show the run is not a pump and dump scam or something like that.

3.) $0.72 - 0.73 is first resistance and if that's broken, this will test $0.858 (recent high).

4.) 52 week high is $0.87, so watch out for volume accompanying price action. Higher volume = greater chance of breaking the above two resistances.

4.) the company is not just a bird flu play as evidenced by today's news about some security/surveillance related contracts -

here are two charts:

good luck to those long on this one! ;)

Im kinda new to all of this, but can someone explain the significance of this?  Im in at 18,000 shares at .79.  I guess I shouldn't worry too much?

The company has so far issued a total of 73.25 mil. shares, of which, once you subtract the shares owned by insiders/institutions/longs, the no. that is available in the open market while trading is the float. So the float is always less than the outstanding shares (also referrred to as O/S).

the lower the float, the easier it is to move a stock's price up or down, i.e. greater volatility. Imagine the float being just 5000 on a given stock...let's say you buy up 4500 of those shares in the open market...which means you control a significant no. of shares, and you have an upper hand whne it comes to what price you want to sell your shares, and you can dictate using your leverage, what price you want to see your shares at. on the other habd, if the float were 20 mil. even if you bough, say 10000 shares, you wouldn't control enough of the stock to be able to manipulate the prices as easily.

When it comes to penny world, 28.25 mil. share float is pretty small, of course, you'll have to take the pps of the stock into consideration too, when you use terms like "small" or "large".

finally, if you multiply the O/S by the price of each share, you get what's called the market capitalization of the company. in this company's case, 78 mil. X $0.686 = $53 mil. company, as valued by the sharks at Wall Street.

how important is all this?? right now, do not worry to much about it...if the float was ridiculosuly low, you'll have to worry about extreme volatility, but again, in the penny world, you may expect volatility nevertheless.

you bought in at $0.79...my chart tells me it will come back up to cvallenge recent high (and 52 week high) of $0.86 - 0.87. first, it's gotta take out $0.72 - 0.73 tomorrow.

keep an eye on volume...the higher, the more reliable the price is moving up.

hope this helps. good luck.  :)

Smart-tek Solutions Inc. Announces United States Expansion Plans of Its Bird Flu Containment and Monitoring System

CORTE MADERA, Calif., Mar 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Smart-tek Solutions Inc. (OTCBB:STTK) today announced its expansion plans into the United States of its RTAC-PM system to help with the monitoring of its poultry to limit the risk of it being infected with H5N1 virus.
"The reception our system has received since we introduced it in China has been simply overwhelming," said Perry Law, President of Smart-tek Communications Inc. "We have received numerous requests for additional information on our avian flu containment system from many different organizations and companies located around the world, including many from the United States. Even though the bird flu has yet to appear in the United States, the H5N1 virus is such a grave economic concern that proactive measures need to be implemented and we believe that our avian flu containment system would be a great tool in this process.

"Smart-tek's expansion strategy will be to evaluate potential candidates, enter into licensee agreements to promote our product to proper levels of local, state and federal governments," said Law. "It is crucial that we find an organization that has the ability to promote our product to the right individuals in the right departments. Therefore, we will be conducting extensive research on all candidates to assure that we find the licensee that meet these exacting criteria.

"This strategy has been successful so far in China, and we believe that it can also be successful in the United States," said Law. "This deadly disease is showing no bias toward any nation and it has the ability to bring disastrous consequences to the American Poultry Industry. The United States has the opportunity to be proactive and implement checks and balances before the bird flu spreads to its flocks and limit the potential damages and we believe that we can be a part of their solution."

The RTAC-PM system was designed for the livestock industry and is targeted specifically for the poultry industry with user defined alerts that may assist governmental agencies to monitor poultry movement. The RTAC-PM system incorporates leading edge technology and is customized around customers' requirements with the flexibility to adapt to various types of OEM products.

If it can stay about .80 at the close, we will be good to go for the next few days.  Seems like it wanted to test there.

OTC stocks don't trade AH

It's my understanding that the big late trades you're seeing are clean-ups by MMs from the day's activity.

Yes, no AH trading for them.  I understand what you are saying, but that is 2 days in a row that a big dump has happend "after hours" and for .04-.05 less than the "closing price".  Just seems very odd...

It's simply the mms cleaning his "book".  Don't worry about it.  It doesnt affect the PPS.

Im riding free shares now but I regret taking partial profits now that I'm hearing rumors of even bigger news due out next week. MA cross on chart confirms strong momentum. String of pr's are being well accepted by the market. Bulls in control of this stock and I don't see them backing off any time soon. Just broke 52-week high. This could very well see new trading ranges in the next few weeks. Guess we have to wait and see.

Title: Re: STTK BIRD FLU STOCK

it's blue skies baby...it came to this point only after those who wanted to take profits from earlier rise to $0.87 (and most recently $0.857) took them and either left or bought back in.

that's what charts do...they tell you the general sentiment of the market and help you time your decisions to buy/sell/hold

A chartist with decent fundamental knowleedge should tell you looking at this "blue-sky" chart, that it's all well and good for some good pps increase, without too much pressure from overhead supply (because there is none!)

just relax and let this thing ride (like SUWN, XSNX, PTSC, etc.)

also notice that bird flu stokcs in general seems to have resumed uptrend today...STTK is as much a bird flu play as a technology play (security/surveillance systems).

good luck!  ;)

Smart-tek Awarded $500,000 in Mixed Residential and Commercial Security and Surveillance Contracts

By PrimeZone
Last Update: 3/31/2006 10:10:20 AM Data provided by

CORTE MADERA, Calif., Mar 31, 2006 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Smart-tek Solutions, Inc. (STTK) announced today that its operating subsidiary Smart-tek Communications Inc. ("SCI"), has been awarded the security, voice and data contract for the King Edward Village project. The value of the contract is in excess of $500,000.

Smart-tek is supplying and installing the low voltage system consisting of the telephone/data backbone to the buildings, CATV, integrated proximity access control, elevator access control, intercom and digital CCTV system to the King Edward Village project. Included in the scope of work of the contract, Smart-tek will also provide rough-in voice and data cabling to the retail and commercial units.

"These are very exciting times for Smart-tek Communications, Inc. and its parent company, Smart-tek Solutions, Inc.," said Perry Law, President of Smart-tek Communications. "Not only are we preparing to introduce our RTAC-PM Bird Flu containment and monitoring system on a more global scale, but we are also continuing to have tremendous success in our residential and commercial security and surveillance products and services as evidenced by this new contract."

right now at $0.958 as I type....high of day on very strong volume...

my guess is this will take out $1.00 today.....more contracts are supposed to come, looking by the likes of several flurry of security/surveillance contracts generated this week.

wow...what a day for this one...close at $1.025 with high of day being $1.03 (the $1.10 you see was a fake high by MM's...)

i'll post the chart later today. i'm all smiles this weekend.  :)

Here are the charts I promised...albiet a bit late.

Weekly chart:

The 1 yr. weeky chart shows a solid breakout from previous high of $0.87 albeith on lower volume than previous week. The weeky chart shows RSI just entering the 70 + levels...like many high flying stocks that have shown us in the past, a stocks RSI could be in the 70 + levels but pps could continue to rise...we'll just have to look at other indicators in conjunction with the RSI.

The stochastics on weeky chart continue to shown bullish signs...I would best call this "HOLD" stage....if you are already in.

Daily chart:

Looking at the daily chart...first up, the high recorded on Friday at $1.10 was a fake one...the actual high being $1.03, I saw the MM's on level 2 processed on head-fake trade at $1.10 (and another one at $1.05), not sure why, but it happens often on penny stocks. There is a possibility that this head-fake false high has meesed up a few indicators on the chart.

The RSI shows excellent signs of continued bullishness...looking at the previous run from $0.25 to $0.75, the RSI stayed in the 70+ range for a quite a while until it peaked at 90, and fell back one day, and RSI regained strenght tht we still see today....IMO, there is some more room for the RSI to run from current levels of 84 to around 90 or so...may be a trifle higher....what does that mean for the prices....may be a couple more days of running before another pullback. I wouldnt be surprised to see a quick run up on morning of monday before cosolidating and pulling back for a breather before the next leg up resumes.

The stochastics also shows possibilties of turning down and the price consolidating before resuming uptrend.

The ultimate oscillators also shows a negative divergence, meaning, it's trending down while the pps is going up....good indication that price might take a breather in the next few days...

Conclusion:

But one thing is certain...I think we are in the middle of a longer bull run for this stock..kinda like the XSNX and the PTSC's....fundamentally speaking, bird flu negativity will not affect this stock much even if the rest of the sector takes a hit, because, from this week's news, the continuous stream of revenue for this company is from it's surveilance/security divisions.

Simply put, this stock will not be affected much by a downturn in the bird flu sector, but will stand to benefit nicely in case of buzz in the bird flu sector...WHY?  because the actual money as of today is being made in it's security/surveillance division...and it's bird flu containment system is just taking off with interest from several S.E Asian countries...   ;)

Here is a million dollar question... I bailed at 1.01 from .795 because I got nervous with so many positive days, and good gains/positive days.  Should I try to get back in quickly Monday or do you anticipate a slight dip?  Of course, no once can be for sure.  Just want some opinions.
Title: Re: STTK BIRD FLU STOCK
Post by: vic666 on April 01, 2006, 08:23:46 PM
it's my opinion that we will see a jump in the early morning hours of trading on monday...may be to $1.10 or a little higher (no one knows)....but don't jump in then.

wait and watch how the intraday action is....see if support level hold...(for example, on the intraday chart of Friday, I was closely watching the chart and saw how every time it dipped, it always found support at the uptredn line drawn by joining prior lows in the day)...the more that happens, the stronger you can feel about holding the stock, which is what I did.

So wait and watch intraday action on the chart...and one other thing I happened to notice was there was a PR everyday before 10.35 am (either at 9.35, 10.25, 10.10, etc.)...and everytime that happened, the stock took for atleast a 5 - 7% gain...

not saying monday there will be news, but it;s qite likely...and also the bird flu containment system has generated quite a buzz from the likes of the PR's released last week...I'm sure there's gonna be news of outher SE Asian countries expressing interest and the like...China may be?

Conclusion: Wait for a pullback after the first 1 hr of trading monday....stay on the intraday chart and watch to see if support levels are holding...and keep an eye out for news and read the nature of the news before deciding to jump in or wait.

I'll be working but will try and update intraday on Monday, along with my own position on this stock. good luck. hope this helps for now.  ;)

oh by the way, looking at the volume action from my earlier chart...it looks to me like there is atleast one more blockbuster day with trading volume in the 20 - 30 million range, before time for consolidation...

just a gut feeling. it may run pretty high on such a day, but not necessarily close high, rather close on the lower end of the trading range...which would kinda be like a black maribozu (long black candlestick), which would signal start of a cnsolidation period....for starters, the $0.85 - 0.87 range would act as first level of support...I'd have to see how the 20 MA progresses the next few days but I bet it's gonna go up fairly rapidly this next week possibly closer to the $0.75 levels, which would be next level of support.

let's wait and see what the street tells us!  ;)

hi,
here is a five minute chart . it looks like it may have another strong day of high volume . maybe one of those exaustion days that elite g talks about . of course ptsc had a few of those to take it to 220. so i am looking at this doing the same on monday . alot of buying on the ask price on  and not much profit taking for a friday.
i got in at .87 waiting to see if it would break the previous 52week high. i was in earlier at the .60s and flipped for a small profit....hhhmmm...let's see if it can start moving by pennies rather than smaller increments. it started to move in half pennies late afternoon friday.
goodluck to all,
maxi

Just out of curiosity...I looked at what some recent blockbuster stocks did when they hit the $1.00 threshold price...I am referring to XSNX and PTSC...stocks that broke out the $0.25 - $0.40 range and started a monster bull run in the last 3 months or so.

I'm trying to compare that to what STTK is doing right now.

Here are the charts for all three stocks...Interestingly, when both PTSC and XSNX broke the $1.00 barrier, their MACD's and RSI indicators were at pretty similar levels...

PTSC:

a.) RSI was at 84.07 and rising
b.) MACD bar was at 0.068
c.) stochastics were at 83/75

XSNX:

a.) RSI was at 79 and rising
b.) MACD bar was at 0.031 and rising...in fact the day after it broke $1.00, MACD bar shooted to 0.061
c.) stochastics were at 88/82

and what about STTKwhen it broke $1.00 on Friday ??

a.) RSI was at 84 and rising
b.) MACD bar was at 0.055 and rising
c.) stochastics were at 93/88

Notice what happened to both XSNX and PTSC right after they broke $1.00...

- XSNX made one huge run and pulled back only to run much higher afterwards to $3.00,
- PTSC on the other hand ran strong right after it broke $1.00, to hit around $2.30, and is now pullling back.

Whats the purpose of the above analysis....well, it's fun to see what stocks that were at similar levels in the past did after running to $1.00. that's pretty much it! it's also fn to see how STTK will turn out...either it should do a PTSC like run early, and run to $2.00 and then pull back, or do a la XSNX, run high on Monday, and pullback for a week or so and make newer highs after that.

let's wait and see...it's definitely gonna be exciting!!  ;)

LOL!! Pump much? >:D I saw STTK being touted on dozens of yahoo message boards today. The pump is in full force. Congrats to those who caught some of the move. Pump or no pump, it's fun making money. It's all about the Hamiltons baby!

I'm not a buyer at these levels. Their solution seems flimsy and as of 12/31 STTK didn't even have a buck in cash. From their last 10Q:

LIQUIDITY AND CAPITAL RESOURCES
For the six months ended December 31, 2005, net cash used in operating activities was $130,051 and net cash provided by financing activities was $128,222. There was no cash provided by investing activities. The Company did not have any cash and cash equivalents at December 31, 2005.
The Company does not have any available credit, bank financing or other external sources of liquidity....

A Personal Message to Readers of StockLemon.Com and Investors of Storage Alliance, Inc. (SGAL) from Donald H. Rowe and The Wall Street Digest

On March 24, 2003, StockLemon.com posted an "investigative report" on its Web site and released a statement to the financial media criticizing Storage Alliance, Inc. (SGAL). In this so-called "investigative report," StockLemon.com also criticizes Donald Rowe for recommending the company's stock to subscribers of The Wall Street Digest.

On March 26, 2003, StockLemon.com released Part Two of its "investigative report" to the investment community. Once again, Donald Rowe was highly criticized by the unidentified writer, who stated that he had called Mr. Rowe with questions regarding Storage Alliance, but had been "rushed off the phone" due to the imminent move of The Wall Street Digest's offices. (NOTE: After 14 years of publishing The Wall Street Digest from 2 North Tamiami Trail, Ste. 602, Sarasota, Florida, the publication's headquarters moved to 8830 South Tamiami Trail, Ste. 110, Sarasota, Florida. This move was pre-announced to subscribers of The Wall Street Digest for almost an entire month prior to the physical move on March 28-31, 2003.)

The "journalist," who called Donald Rowe during the move gave his name as "Mr. Rosen," but did not leave a phone number where he could be reached at a more convenient time. Nor did he identify himself or his "publication" when he called The Wall Street Digest's offices. He simply stated that he was a journalist who was "returning Don's call." Clearly, this was a deceptive, untrue statement.

Since posting his vitriolic commentary on his Web site and releasing his "press releases" to the investment community, this is what we have learned about Mr. Rosen, a.k.a. William Harris, a.k.a. William Smith.

#1: In a press release dated March 26, 2003, Stocklemon.com is identified as "an independent website that has been serving the microcap community since 1991." This is a highly suspect statement, since the vast majority of investors and the investment community at-large did not discover the Internet prior to 1994-1995. However, a Bill Harris did create the domain name, "Stocklemon.com" on August 1, 2001, ten years later than the year claimed in Stocklemon.com's press releases. After registering Stocklemon.com, Mr. Harris/Rosen/Smith then released his first "investigative report" on August 6, 2001, and posted it to his newly created Web site.

#2: The contact information that Bill Harris provided when he created Stocklemon.com on August 1, 2001, consists of two non-published phone numbers, a Hotmail e-mail address, and two conflicting street addresses in California-one of which does not appear to exist on any published map.

#3: In his inflammatory allegations concerning Donald Rowe's qualifications to analyze and recommend stocks, Mr. Harris/Rosen/Smith directs his readers to a 1999 "Bull and Bear" archival page where, in a reprint of a July 1999 report on Internet stocks and The Wall Street Digest's November 1999 issue featuring those same stocks, Mr. Rowe recommended several securities that were also recommended by the vast majority of momentum investment advisors in 1999. Those stock recommendations were: Qualcomm, MCI WorldCom, Excite At Home, Broadcom, Lucent Technologies, CMGI,

a number of companies? See the GNBT msg bd for the comments regarding that and then perform a search to see what you find.

More from the previous link:

We find this final paragraph of Stocklemon.com's disclaimer most revealing (bold-face type is Stocklemon.com's):

"At any times [sic] the principles [sic] of Stocklemon.com might hold a position in any of the securities profiled on the site. Stocklemon.com will not report when a position is initiated or [sic] covered. Each investor must make that decision based on his/her judgment of the market."

Indeed, we believe this last paragraph reveals far more about the reason for Stocklemon.com's existence than the mere fact that it is a "free site" for disgruntled OTC investors. We believe the principal(s) of Stocklemon.com created the site for the sole purpose of finding OTC stocks that could be manipulated into short-position bonanzas for Stocklemon.com's owner(s). In fact, the site's "Your Lemon" page includes this suspected short-seller's invitation to "join our investigative team" and provide Stocklemon.com with additional stock manipulation leads.

#5: In a press release dated November 15, 2001, Stocklemon.com describes itself as "a free site that profiles companies on the OTC BB marketplace. The principles [sic] of Stocklemon.com often do have positions that are consistent with the report that is being presented. No employee of Stocklemon.com is a chartered financial analyst or [sic] a licensed investment advisor."

Even more so than in Stocklemon.com's posted legal disclaimer, we believe the above statement is an admission that the owner(s) of Stocklemon.com are shorting the stocks they are blasting in their so-called "investigative reports" on Stocklemon.com.

Most importantly, the owner(s) of Stocklemon.com (Mr. Harris/Rosen/Smith, et. al.) freely admit that they are neither chartered financial analysts nor licensed investment advisors. So who are they? They offer no clue on their Web site other than the most obvious: professional short-sellers who are looking for OTC companies to manipulate for their own profit.

#6: A careful review of the trading history of Stocklemon.com's targeted stocks between August 6, 2001, and March 28, 2003, indicates that in every situation except one, a short-position taken just prior to the release of a Stocklemon.com "investigative report," would have produced good-to-phenomenal profits for short-sellers of those OTC stocks. Coincidence? Perhaps, but why hasn't Mr. Harris/Rosen/Smith posted his true identity and/or qualifications for investment commentary on Stocklemon.com? Does he fear exposure as an active short-seller of OTC securities?

As revealed in #5 above, Mr. Harris/Rosen/Smith has freely admitted the following:

"The principles [sic] of Stocklemon.com often do have positions that are consistent with the report that is being presented."

We continue to believe that the principal(s) of Stocklemon.com, whoever they are, deliberately trash good companies for the purpose of generating short-term, short-selling trading profits.

The following are possible short-selling profits, based upon the timing of Stocklemon.com's articles targeted against OTC stocks:

Questions have been raised about the existence of our technology. We would like to assure our shareholders that our technology does exist and a brief video synopsis of our demonstration in China has been available on our website since Monday, April 3, 2006. Our technology has been developed using already available RFID hardware and adding our own proprietary software to it. As a security company, we have been exposed to RFID technology as it is a tool that is commonly used in the security industry.

As for our financial stability, we have been meeting our obligations as they have become due and as has been disclosed, we continue to add to our portfolio of projects in the mixed residential/commercial sector of our business. Furthermore, as disclosed in our form 10-QSB for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, our total contract backlog was approximately $3,562,468, which represents the value of contracts that have been awarded and that have not yet been completed. Based on our estimates, we now believe that number is approximately $5,000,000.

Our recently announced $5,000,000 order from China certainly will have a significant positive impact on the Company's financial status. This order represents the launch of our new business sector that has a tremendous potential to further strengthen our business.

Sold with a 51% loss.  I'm frickin sick.  I think that's it for me.  Learned my lesson,  DON"T STEP IN FRONT OF A LEMON!!!!  I don't give a $%^# if the company is trying to console me, this sucked and left a bad taste in my mouth.  Good luck to anyone else holding,  I hope you at least get your money back.  The company is probably alright and on the up and up, but that dosen't help my account any.

it's crazy how this works.  shows just how emotional the market is.

i thought the $5mil contract would over-ride the article from StockLemon, but this did not happen.

You are not alone   Shipman.  I keep telling myself to stay away from the pennys.  Only time i have ever lost $$$ was with the pennys.

I still believe this will go up.....not sure how much, but many are still watching it.

Hey shipman.. this kind of a thing happens to everybody. Here's my example:
I bought STTK about 6 months ago for .66. I was down for months over 60%. Finally the stock started going up and I got out at .83 for about 25% profit.

Today I wanted to flip it quickly but that wasn't smart at all. I was greedy and took a pretty big position for a bigger "gain". I bought it at .80 and sold for .60. Nice 25% loss in a couple of hours.
So I pretty much gave back what I gained waiting half a year for it.

I think this stock will go up after it stops selling so it will give us another opportunity.
This game is created for scammers that can short and make big bucks in a very short period of time. By the time people realized they were lying about STTK the damage is done. They got their profit and trading can continue... beautiful game for those that control it.

I totally understand your pain, I lost over 2k today on it. You have to be a hero in daytrading and stay focused even when you lose. That's the only way to make money in this game.

I bought AIDO the other day at .88 and 1.20. Look at it now .63. I was able today to buy another 2k at .55 so I covered a bit but I am still down overall. Sucks.

OneStockmind is on point.  learn from this and move on.  Create a better trading plan and let's not get greedy next time.

I bought in at .90 and got all caught up with the hype.  Still holding.   Thinking if it drops, dollar cost average and wait it out.

one big positive here...is the $5mil contract and the company's response to Stocklemon is telling in itself.  It's telling me there is something here worth holding.

Wow, what a fall  :o
So, I bought 10k at .82, since company gave pretty good pr about their standing at this point.
But, heck it still dropped.
Far as I know, it is over sold, since RSI has dropped below 50 and red bar dropped below SMA 18.
If it does drops to .50, back up your truck and load it up, becasue it will break $1.00 again.

This is JMO. So, do your own DD.

$5mil indicates interest in what the companies has to offer.

StockLemon.com indicates something fishy

I was hoping for a little more of a pullback to buy more.  I thought this would be the case since it is friday.  I am thinking this will inch up a little at a time. People are cautious now.

Maybe an opportunity for STTK and AIDO

9:45 a.m.: The Asian Development Bank granted Vietnam $15 million to fight bird flu and other infectious diseases. "Vietnam and other countries in the region are still facing the potential and recurrent outbreak of emerging infectious diseases such as bird flu, SARS, HIV/AIDS and dengue," State Bank Governor Le Duc Thuy said. The money is part of a $30 million grant project to help Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia battle bird flu and other diseases, and will go toward strengthening surveillance, improving disease control and building regional cooperation.
