Cool G... nice to see you back.
Looks like I'll be honored as the first one to ask questions in the Compound II.
So I have two questions right away:
1. You said you'll set stopp loss right after you buy a stock. Can you set stop loss on an OTC stock? I'm asking since I use Ameritrade and they don't allow stop loss on OTC stocks.
2. I'm in STTK @ .66 and today it closed nicely at .80. So far there's no visible resistance in the chart. Your take?
Good luck G! I look forward to watching you in action. Just don't pick any stinkers like ERI, ok! ;)

Hey OneStock 8) thx.
1. I believe that I can set-up a stop loss on OTC but I do not because I think I would get murdered on the exectution. So I setup a mental stop-loss.
2. Awesome play on STTK! Man you have to go pre-1999 to find resistance.. I would say now you have to use psych levels like 1, 1.25,1.50 unless you can put a valuation on the company. That maribozu(open at low closed at high) candle type in this position is supposed to be very bullish. Goodluck.

You cannot set stops on stocks under a buck with Scottrade.
From what I have heard, you can use the trade trigger feature with Ameritrade to set stops/buys. The trade trigger is not an order, it is internal to Ameritrade. An order is not placed until the 'trigger' is hit. This is really good because the MM's can't see your order until your criteria are fulfilled. Maybe somebody that has used them can comment further here.
I have not had good luck setting stop limits, they always seem to get taken out when I use them. My best luck with stops has been to set them a couple of cents below the most recent low. I have used trailing stops with success. Although trailing stops protect you, they are not based on any technical criteria, some folks (like David Randolph) don't like them for that reason.
Mental stops are great but only work if you can watch the stock intraday. I don't have that luxury so I have to be very careful with penny stocks. I am VERY quick to take profits on pennies. I have learned the hard way. Uhhh, it seems that lesson comes back around often. Sort of like the old "deja vu all over again" redundance cliche.

Now a question, eg. when u buy SUWN, $5000 worth...what minimum percentage increase are u expecting. Because, I don't buy that much of anything...ever...probably the maximum is $500 and then then i pay commission $29 each way. So, my question is...can someone who plays the amount that I do...play your picks?
thanks!!!

Good to see you back. Missed you're post and like trying to learn chart reading from you're post. Have also made some return on a few picks. Keep up the excellant work. You're much appreciated. :)

One of you're picks PRFT is listed on nasdaqNM. Do you also trade after hours. Reason I ask is on Scottrade you can trade after hours but only with stocks listed on NasdaqNM.
Have a great day

hmm a very good question... I seperate the positions in terms of potential profit according to their price. The lower the price the higher and quicker the profit(but I do not think the pennies will setup very often). But generally I see potential for 100% in my picks. So if you are happy with that ;) :D then it should be fine for the amount you would like to play with. How much I take off the table we shall see.. because as you know I'm a notorious early profit taker(tryin to fix it :D)

I have traded pre-market and after hours but very rarely. If a pick is up an enormous amount in pre or post market I may take half profits but I doubt we'll see that. You have a great day too 8)

I am also a 'notorious early profit taker'. >:D and speaking of that...cashed out most of my trading shares of GTE today at $3.50... ;D it was looking way overbought to me. Well, time to payoff my truck ! Looking to get some of them back if it settles down.

AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!
This is the second time I don't listen to my instinct!!! I was almost 30% up on STTK and saw how it's getting top-heavy around .87 and didn't get out.
Nothing shoots straight up like this stock and it needs a correction. Now I got one and missed on profit!

2.90 would be nice but I never mentioned that number.. I'd be happy with a nice 20% gain on that one.. thats why I called it a surgical strike.. but sometimes thats how the big plays start. I think they may just get the contract ;) check out this thread: http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=3842.0#msg35520
johnb liked KRY at the same time I did and Ramsburg has a very nice chart and TA over there 8)
My STTK sad story.. From 25% gain to 10% loss in one day.. that's pretty sad.
I'll hold because I hope it will bounce back up but this is exactly what I do in trading - "hoping" instead of disciplined profit taking.. Well, I guess 25% is not good enough for me.
Onestock...I feel for you....i do that all the time! I never learn.
Or there are scenarios like this...VMTF..i bought yesterday at .20 and sold it at .22. Then I almost bought it again this morning...then decided not too...now it hit .30. Both days have been great volume...will probably continue...without me. Elite u should check it out...it had news yesterday and today...i started a thread on it in penny stocks. Sounds like could have further potential.
and VSUSE...yep...noticed it yesterday...and thought..oh..i probably missed most of the run now...no...i didn't!! Up alot more today. Wondering where that will end up..is there more.
MYNG did well too.
MAUG which i owned and sold at a loss a few weeks ago...if only i held on..i would have doubled...my story. But, Elite..what do u think of MAUG...again...this stock just keeps going up...is there a limit?
thanks
julia
One of the biggest steps I feel that has helped me in trading is the ability to let things go.
To let things go for a trader:
-- 1. Let plays go by that look great but are past the safest buy point. There are many plays out there. Figure out how to catch the stock that went by at the breakout area. Adjust your system to catch it, whether you use TA, news or other sources(like your pet goldfish)
-- 2. Let go of a stock or part of it when you feel uncomfortable(in a gain or loss situation). Everyone says to trade without emotion. Thats impossible because we are human. So then make your emotions another tool. For example you get anxious when you are sitting on a big gain.. take some profit off the table.. does your feeling go away? If not then sell some more till it does. Your instincts(emotions) may come from your subconscious analysis of the stock. I think it takes many experiences to build a good database for your subconscious and to learn how to use those instincts. And of course this would apply to most anything that people do. Yes I believe this crazy theory. ;)
-- 3. Let go of making yourself feel bad when you get out of a play that could have made you a ton of money. Its the stock market. Whose to say you have found the bottom or you have found the top? When I play texas hold'em I cant stand it when people say "Man I should have stayed in" when they have terrible cards. You cant count on that "one time" to make you rich. You need to be able to perform again and again and again. If you cant define how you did it, you cant do it again and you are gonna be a one hit wonder.
Now go trade the heck out of the markets!
by eliteG
Study! there will be a quiz on this Friday :D :D
Totally agree with your theory elite. If only I can think of that every day :)
I know what you mean about always regreting. I'm trying to stay away from emotional regrets and have only objective regrets that serve as a learning tool.
I'm in STTK for about a week or so and noticed every time when a news comes out there's a selloff that day. I don't see any explanation for today's action other than sell on news since the company is constantly getting new contracts.
What worries me is that MACD is very high and RSI was pretty hot so I knew it can't go up forever.
Today it closed below9 day MA and it hasn't done that in the last two weeks or so. I just hope it's a short-term correction and not a trend change.
Also, if you look at the Fib. retracements from the top to the start of the run it looks like it tested 50% retracement today.
What is your take looking at the chart and the company fundamentals? I just want to learn trading on examples like this.
Thanks elite. Definitely missed you here.
Yo G
Might want to check out MSEP for a possible rebound to the G-Spot.

Its hard to say OneStock.. STTK bounced off the 20 ema thats good..maybe its found bottom. You talked about RSI and MACD.. I studied a lot about indicators.. and I have come to the conclusion that they are more hurtful than helpful. Making money is about Price and Volume, imo ;) I do not really employ fundamental analysis in what I do. I find it interesting but more dangerous than just listening to the facts(price and volume, the market). So it doesnt matter if they have a gazillion dollars in the bank.. if their price is going down and hits your stop you gotta get on gone. ;)

Biogenerics Limited Joint Venture Partner Hydroslotter Corporation Begins Work On Four Additional Gas Wells
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
TORONTO, Nov. 30, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Biogenerics Limited (Pink Sheets:BIGN)
confirms that its joint venture partner Hydroslotter Corporation is now prepared
to begin the process of working over four additional gas wells on the Grimes,
California property.
On October 11, 2005, Biognerics Limited announced it had re-opened a well in
this same area that had been shut in for the past twenty-four years. In the
month of September, this well produced 14.4 million cubic feet of natural gas
(14,400MCF, which was sold for an average of $10.00 per MCF. Grimes continues to
produce strongly with low water production.
The four wells which are now targeted were chosen from a basket of 11 nearby
wells. The main geological and geophysical work on the target wells is
completed. Additionally, Biogenerics project managers have met with the rig
company and Schlumberger to establish the objectives and processes to be
initialized.
It is anticipated that a final technical review meeting will be held by
mid-December 2005 at which time a firm date or the workovers will be decided.
The workovers are tentatively scheduled back-to-back from January 8th to January
22nd, 2006. Each workover will require three days, with two days of slotting and
one day in between to re-rig the drilling apparatus.
Paul Smith, senior VP of Biogenerics Limited stated that, "Each of the four
wells identified should produce as well, if not exceed the production rate, of
the first Grimes well."
Smith further states, "In addition to the anticipated production from these
re-works, it will demonstrate the company's organization and flexibility to
manage multiple workovers successfully."
Hydroslotter is equally excited about the potential that their technology
provides. There continues to be hundreds of thousands of shut in wells that
indicate the same potential as the four wells in this program.
Biogenerics is a diversified investment venture capital firm focused on
exploiting and distributing domestic oil and gas reserves. Biogenerics has oil
and gas assets acquired from Rubicon Petroleum. Biogenerics also has joint
venture activities with Tyche Energy, Hydroslotter Corporation and WW Energy
Inc.
About Hydroslotter Corporation
Hydroslotter Corporation's proprietary technology deemed "hydroslotting"
increases oil and gas production and extends the commercial productivity of oil
and gas wells by 300 to 600 percent.

Biogenerics' JV Partner Tyche Energy Adds State-of-the-Art 'N2Vision' Seismic Data Technology to Lake Erie, Ontario Oil Field Project
TORONTO, Dec. 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Biogenerics Limited (the "Company"), (Pink
Sheets:BIGN) announced today that joint venture partner Tyche Energy, Inc.
("Tyche") has signed a Memorandum of Agreement ("MOA") with Productive
Geoscience ("PG"), a provider of innovative seismic interpretation technology.
Pursuant to the terms of the MOA, PG will apply its proprietary N2Vision
technology to evaluate the petroleum and natural gas potential of selected
offshore Lake Erie lands in which Tyche owns an interest.
The core of the N2Vision technology is a multilayer feed-forward neural network
(MFFN) algorithm for pattern recognition. The algorithm is trained to directly
recognize hydrocarbons by automatically establishing non-liner relationships
between all attributes of the seismic field and data from existing wells. Since
1986, hundreds of exploration wells (mostly wildcats) drilled on locations
evaluated with N2Vision technology have established a predictive success ratio
greater than 85%. N2Vision has been utilized for the exploration of key oil and
gas fields owned by LUKOIL, YUKOS, SURGUTNEFTEGAS, and TATNEFT. Major customers
of N2Vison include Tatneft (NYSE:TNT) and Surgutneftegas.
Tyche owns an overriding royalty interest in 1,260 acres of producing offshore
Lake Erie lands located in Romney Township, Kent County. The lands are currently
operated by Talisman Energy, Inc. of Calgary, Alberta, and produce light sweet
crude oil and natural gas from a reservoir developed within the Trenton-Black
River formation. The Talisman, Romney 8-194-TRS horizontal well was drilled from
a surface location on land to a bottom-hole location over 4 kilometers distant
beneath the bed of Lake Erie. Cumulative oil production from the Talisman
8-194-TRS well is over 120,000 barrels since 2001. Tyche owns a 50% working
interest in 5,996 acres of undeveloped lands on Lake Erie, of which 2,560 acres
are located immediately adjacent to the Talisman 8-194-TRS horizontal well.
Marine seismic data acquired in 2000 on selected offshore blocks is currently
being evaluated with N2Vision technology.
Peter Rowe, President and CEO of Tyche stated, "This is an excellent opportunity
for a junior such as ourselves to utilize 'Leading Edge' technology normally
only available to the majors. The MOA is the first step to entering into a
formal agreement pursuant to which PG will participate with Tyche in the
development of the hydrocarbon potential on Tyche's current inventory of
exploration lands. Tyche currently holds varying working interests in over
19,000 acres of exploration lands in Ontario and Northeast, BC."

Instead of buying the stock I bought SSTI january calls. And got some OPSW as well.Thought about suwn but chickened out. Thanks
cool ak 8) you gotta let me know how the calls go for you.. I was thinking of doing that ;)

Elite,
I sold OPSW for 5% profit. When to re-entry? Thanks for the help.
dcrlin
I think OPSW will continue moving up tomorrow.. I would think it is safe to buy early below 6.40. Another technical method of entering the play would be the 10am rule(You wait for the high made before 10am to break upwards and then you can buy, this shows that the stock really does want to move higher, you sacrifice some cents for accuracy)
Hey Elite, I have never heard of a 10 am rule but I have noticed it myself. I guess it becomes kind of obvious after enough morning trading mistakes. Thanks for the conformation. Also loved the "to let things go for a trader" especially #2.
Thanks again
uc.

hey uc 8) 10am rule is solid and essential for daytrading if you are not fading the gaps.. hopefully I'll be able to get into more detail about daytrading with 1-2 picks on that per day.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the "to let things go for a trader" thx... I was planning on posting it again on the portfolio thread over the weekend ;)

hi G :) ,
i was wondering what made u think the market may be headed down on monday?
and would u have held what u have sold (SSTI, OPSW, TXCC) if u werent gonna be out on monday?
trying to look into the head of the genius ;D
Thanks!

Hey eags.. about the market going down. I think that way because of the possible quick v-double top I spoke about earlier, Davids analysis of the markets.. and a general feeling that I get. Maybe down for 2 weeks and then an end of year rally? We'll find out if its genius or stupidity soon enough.
I think I would hold if I was going to be in on Monday because most likely there will be a nice rise early and then comes the dark downward move I dont want to be a part of. So maybe be ready to sell on an early rally. ;) Thats just my feeling.
8)
Here we go! :D

OK guys, I have to share this with all of you.
So, I got in TXCC today with elite @ 1.63 and was waiting to see what happens today.
Towards the end of the day it got stuck in a range 1.60 - 1.62.
I was waiting until 3:00 PM but it didn't get out of that range and since it's Friday I thought a selloff is coming so I decided to get out at 1.62.
Liquidity was really low so my order was getting partially executed 100 by 100 shares over the next half an hour or so.
In the picture you can see when my last partial order was executed! Were they waiting just for me!? :) Unreal.. This is a pretty sure gapper Monday morning but I just didn't want to chase.
Never mind, at least I'm not down 30% like on some other stocks..
I just thought it's funny (or not).

TwinTrader.com Announces Profile Coverage for Biogenerics Limited
Monday December 5, 7:10 am ET
DALLAS, Dec. 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Reggie Sanchez, President of TwinTrader.com, announced Profile Coverage of Biogenerics Limited (Other OTC:BIGN.PK - News). Biogenerics is a diversified investment venture capital firm. The principal business is focused on exploiting and distributing domestic oil and gas reserves.
Reggie Sanchez and Scott Sanchez each spoke of Biogenerics:
Scott: ``Biogenerics and Paul Smith have a passion and a vision to drive forward without looking back. A laser beam focus on domestic energy production and a firm application of tomorrow's technology make BIGN an undervalued diamond in the rough.''
Reggie: ``Biogenerics Limited is reaching new highs through strategic joint ventures and smarter, more efficient oil and gas recovery techniques -- thus dramatically increasing economic returns while lowering exploration risk -- it's genius.''
Scott: ``At current, record-breaking energy prices coupled with Middle East and, possibly, Russian production interruption, BIGN could capitalize on this climate significantly.''
Reggie: ``I'm seeing surging potential for more immediate, more rapid revenue generation which translates into maximizing return on investment and intensifying long-term shareholder value.''

Biogenerics Limited Announces Acquisition of Additional Johnson Anticline Acreage in the Highly Prospective San Juan Basin
Friday December 2, 5:12 pm ET
FARMINGTON, N.M., Dec. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Biogenerics Limited, (Other OTC:BIGN.PK - News) announced today that subsidiary company, WW Oil & Gas, Inc., has completed the acquisition of an additional 320 acre leasehold interest in the Johnson Anticline structure of the oil and gas rich San Juan Basin. The new acquisition doubles the 320 acres currently held to a total of 640 acres under control as part of the Company's Johnson Anticline oil and gas exploitation project.
The newly leased property contains a well drilled circa 1975 that encountered oil in five (5) separate formations from depths of 2,000 to 6,000 feet. In 1975 the price of oil was between $8 and $9 a barrel. With the price of San Juan Basin Sweet Crude now at nearly $60 per barrel, management believes that at least two (2) of the shallow formations (the Mesaverde and the Gallup formations) could potentially be capable of commercial production.
On an adjoining lease located on the flank of the Johnson Anticline structure, a well was completed in the shallow sands of the Mesaverde formation. That well had an initial flow rate of 119 BOPD with no artificial stimulation, and produced over twenty-seven thousand barrels of oil (27,000 + BO) during its production span. Therefore, it is management's belief that the new leasehold acreage, which is positioned directly over the Johnson Anticline, appears to contain a large proved, but underdeveloped oil reserve in the Mesaverde formation.
The Johnson Anticline is located approximately two miles south of the Rio Puerco Field, a field that produces from natural fractures in the Gallup Sandstone. Another abandoned well which is located directly over the Johnson Anticline encountered severe lost circulation in an oil bearing sand in the Gallup. Due to this event, it is very likely that the sands in this region contain natural fractures, so that prolific production may be possible from the Gallup formation. In 1984, when the Rio Puerco Field was discovered, the Denver Post reported flow rates of between 50 to 320 barrels of oil an hour from nearby wells.
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on ABRXQ. Big gains these last couple of days. Take a look I think its past its G point.

Wow :o
I think Steve Miller said it best "Go on take the money and run!"
technically no resistance till $1.. but I would be selling part immediately 8)
bfurey,
if I can recommend anything at this time it would be - PROTECT YOUR PROFITS!
If you want to know what I'm talking about take a look at GLIF, STTK and GZFX and see what happens when you don't take profits.
ABRXQ RSI is sooo hot that it's probably popping every day on shorts scanners and it's just a matter of time when they start jumping in and take this back where it came from.
The company is selling their assets and they are in bankrupcy.
Nice pick on SUWN, G. That's the kind of chart that I like! Another ascending triangle breakout and this could rocket. Oh, and the good news doesn't hurt either.... ;)
thx bas ;D i really like this chart.. think it does have blast off capability and then I did some research on the company and the news.. think this is one of the best pennies out there ;)

results for the second quarter ended October 31, 2005 of fiscal year 2006.
The Company recorded revenues of $4.052 million for the quarter ended
October 31, 2005; this represents a 28% increase from $3.159 million

approximately $898,530, a 1,325% increase over the $63,030 in net income
reported for the same period in fiscal year 2005. This translates to an
EPS of $0.02 per share for the second quarter. The improved results are a
direct response to the increased demand of Sunwin's products as well as a

effectively controlling expenses, improving profitability and strengthening
the balance sheet. We are very excited about the coming fiscal years, as
the Company has made significant investments to upgrade its manufacturing
facilities. Management is very optimistic about our prospects, as demand
continues to accelerate for our low-calorie natural sweetener (Stevia),
Chinese herbs, and veterinary medicines worldwide. The upgraded
manufacturing facilities will assure our leading position in the

earnings. We expect to substantially increase our sales and profit margins
in all of the three divisions in the coming fiscal quarters and years."

Any new trades elite? Still feel good about SUWN?
just bought ENTU.. SUWN is ok but it violated my patience :D so I let it go .235 a while ago ;)
The G man is back! Thought I'd see you strolling the calles of Puerto Vallarta during Christmas but you must have been relaxing elsewhere. ;D
Sold SUWN this morning also. Fundamentally, I would be hard pressed to find a better OTC stock. They are making money and deals and ramping up production, reporting more or less on time and trying to stay ahead of the competition - alot for a tiny Chinese company. Excellent long term hold but the short term chart just doesn't feel right. The bearish divergence in the MACD and the sideway trading finally got me.
Good to have you back, G! Let's make some green! 8)
I see you made a new thread, G's portfolio. Why didn't you just use your compound II thread to keep posting? The new one anyone can post in I think. Won't be as "clean" as the compound II one you made.
Happy new year G!

Take us to the millions my friend ! ;)
Hey Gman! Could you be so kind and tell me if this (PLNI) is a G pattern?
Hi Elite,
BIGN is worrying me a lot. I know before vacation many of 3SOF members invested in it. It couldnt break the upper limit and has been continously falling after that.
Any thoughts from chart or any exit strategies. Winter is also not cold this time, which hurts portfolio of 3SOF.

Definately has the form mess. But for a really solid G I like to see flat price action for some weeks or months even b4. PLNI still has the form and still hasn't triggered yet so lets see what it can do. Good eye.

Hey dhiraj, yea BIGN is a big dissapointment. To me you gotta listen to the market and the market says BIGN is not ready yet and who knows it may never be. I feel that if BIGN did have anything in the tank those dips down should have created volume support. That didn't happen. Its supposed to be bullish to have volume decrease with consolidation but in pennies and especially pinks I like to see continuous interest. So I would say begin planning an exit... I'm sorry this trade went south. I assure you there will be some explosive penny plays this year. Sell this crap so you can be prepared when the next multi-bagger comes along. :)
Welcome back elite. Good to see you're thread started again.Hope you had a Merry Christmas and may the new year be better than the last. Keep up the excellant work you have going on 3SOF.
