I really don't have any time to explain this pick, I just know the numbers seem allright, the chart also and the market cap is just $25.51M, where as CALVF.OB with basically the same fundamentals (I'll have to dig further to confirm this), has $48M in market cap.
Anyway, this is another gold micro cap penny stock to join CALVF.OB on the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio.
I'll try to buy about $1,150 of SVSE.OB around the open or a little later, it depends on volume.
Silver Star's EVI 7-11 Production Analyzed, Stock Rises 20% On Higher Volume
Wednesday, January 11, 2006 00:14 ET
Jan 11, 2006 (financialwire.net via COMTEX) -- January 11, 2006 (FinancialWire) Silver Star Energy, Inc.'s (OTCBB: SVSE) EVI 7-11 oil has been analyzed by AGAT Laboratories in Calgary and has returned a gravity of 36.5 degrees, compatible with Husky production in the Red Earth area.
The oil is considered light crude and will sell at Imperial Light crude prices, quoted January 10, 2006, at $59.53 per barrel.
Silver Star has been informed by Transaction Oil and Gas (the operator) that the construction of the surface site facilities began on January 9. When complete, the well will be placed on production with the oil initially being trucked to Husky at their 7-1 battery for shipping. This facility is about 2.5 miles away. Silver Star anticipates the commencement of commercial production shortly, before the end of January. The gravity of the oil is compatible with Husky production in the Red-Earth area.
As production is monitored and consistent flow rates are established during this initial production period, the construction of a pipeline to tie into the Husky pipeline system will be planned at that time. The tie-in point is one mile south of the 7-11 well.
Silver Star gained 20.00% on volume of 691,731, which was almost twice its average 391,490, to close at $0.30.
Silver Star Energy is covered by Investrend Research affiliate SISM Research's analyst, Ernest C. Schlotter. On April 14, 2005, Schlotter initiated coverage with a "Speculative Buy/4" rating, and a 12-month target of $1.50.

Looks to be continuing the price action from Tuesday. Sure has come down a long way. I'm willing to throw some funny money at this. In at $.31.
Isn't this an Oil stock? The subject header indicates Gold.
Oil and Gas. David must have had gold on the brain when he wrote it. No biggie. It takes oil to make gold.
I've been thinking for a long time that the fundamentals have been improving. They sold one well for a couple mill. Started producing on the gas wells (which has been good positive revenue). Struck oil again light crude.
I see the quarter over quarter coming in very strong. And they should have the cash to complete the projects, or secure good financing. Alot of positives here. Personally I don't know why this thing has been in free fall for so long...... Just weeding out everybody.... another note... Cornell I believe has sold 340,000 shares already or are about to. I know Cornell, Cornell, right! Well I don't think they want to sell them low... the time has come... I'm in....And I hope some more SOFers Jump On.......85 million outstanding shares..... 1 year est. 1.50!!! 8)

Here is a thread on the Penny Stock Picking Board on this one David. If you have any time to look it over.

Ok, as of last year these guys were bringin in nada. They had the joarcam well which produced 19 barrels a day. Alright. They drilled a gas well in the Sacramento valley. It started producing. They decided to drill another one, in the so called North Franklin zone. By Sept/05 they were bringing in 539k for the quarter, 395k profit.
Meanwhile they were ramping up the gas wells and developing a oil well in Alberta (the 7-11). The gas wells are paying out approx 300k a month, and the 7-11 is expected to produce 150 barrels a day. (150x60= 9000 a day!)
Of course all this development takes money. So they recently sold their 70%interest in the Joarcam project and recieved 1.9 Mill cash money. This money "will provide Silver Star capital to move forward in developing the North Franklin gas reservoir, fracture stimulate the 7-11 well, advance the Kansas project as well as consider future acquisitions."
So far they are on schedule if not a little ahead. If you take just the revenue from the gas wells for the last three months your at almost double revenue quarter over quarter. Add in the oil revenues once 7-11 gets rolling you have another double in revenue in a few months. Add in that they could pay for all the development with cash. This is still hypothetical but, this stock could bring in .02 per share revenue within the year. At this price .33 that would give a forward PE of 16.5 on a business thats growing over 100% year over year. Rollin' ::)
So anyway that's the way I look at it. You might think that prices are going to moderate because it's a warm winter..whatever. Just wait until the hot California summer hits and all of those gas fired electric plants need to run. Guess who's gonna be sellin some gas to them. That's right SVSE.
Balance sheet............As of 12/04 Assets 3.2M Liabilities 1.3M
09/05 4.08M 2.5M
It will be foretelling to see how it balances out in the next report with the Joarcam sale. Probably going to sell the news anyway.

More info.. There are some options out at .315 and .68. Cornell is scheduled to sell their 350k shares somewhere around the 31st of Jan. Hmmmm, just about the time the work on 7-11 is completed... Does anyone have a view on the past couple days performance? The stock rose fast and is just hanging there, looks bullish to me, but not much action today, low volume, yet. Here's an intraday. Looks to me that it'll touch .30 again before rising...or maybe just consolidate all day. If it consolidates I would expect a gap tomorrow. Up or down. Perferably up. Critical resistence at .37 and .49. 50dma .283
200dma .489
No gap. Avg vol. consolidating. Held .30 Any comments?
News this morning: I find it interesting that they are tapping financial expertise.

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 17, 2006 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) today is pleased to announce the appointment of three new directors to its board.
Reflective of the growth of Silver Star and in light of our increasingly complex operations and growing revenue potential, it is now prudent to appoint additional independent directors in order to broaden the breadth of experience and expertise presently possessed by the Board. Mr. Samson has further served as a consultant, performing due diligence for acquisitions and other corporate transactions for various reporting companies. Mr. Samson's background spans both resource and technology firms.

He currently represents reporting companies in both the United States and Canada.
Mr. Marshall is a financial consultant with over 15 years of venture capital experience in private and public companies. With an extensive related history in natural resource matters, Mr. Marshall brings a wealth of experience to us in areas ranging from structuring and arranging financings, corporate filing issues, sourcing and retaining appropriate management, and general organizational structure. He has served on many public company boards as a director and/or officer, and some of the present or past positions held include Chairman, President, Chief Executive Officer and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Marshall is currently President of Fidelis Energy Inc. and Cascade Energy Inc., our joint venture partners at North Franklin and Kansas.
Robert McIntosh, President of Silver Star states that "We are very pleased to have these three quality professionals join our board. Their assistance will be integral in further growing the Company to attain our goal of being a strong international oil and gas producer and explorer. Mr. Samson's accounting experience complements Mr. Harder's legal and securities resume; with Mr. Marshall's venture capital background adding a welcome dimension. All three new directors will have important roles in assisting me in my role as Company President and CEO. We intend to establish a number of independent management committees as part of our ongoing corporate development strategy."
In this regard, we are pleased to announce that our Audit Committee will now consist of David Naylor (director and Chief Financial Officer), Gordon Samson (director) and Glen Harder (director). The Company may add additional directors as circumstances require.
Just marking time. Some jockeying going on.
Thanks for your help Shipman and la-onda (applaud both).
Yes, its oil, I don't know why I said gold ... and being oil, it can run up very quickly on the current oil environment. I wonder if it will break $0.41 in a couple of weeks?
My only concern is that the volume hasn't picked up. A couple above avg. days and good price action, but we need volume for a spike. Right now I'm happy it's moving slowly up. :) I like the .41 target. I will probably lighten up there. Depends how price reacts there.
Rising again today. Crossing the 90 dma. Slowly but surely. I'm just staring at that 200 dma (.48). If it broke that in the near future. Well ::) 8)
Lots of blocks lining up at .38 today (25k). Steady as she goes.
Looks like its making a decent move here...volume in the last hour has been pretty good. :)
Wow! Kick Ass. That was a nice surprise when I got home.... That move should catch some attention. Here's a daily and a weekly. This all looks bullish. RSI, MACD, Three wise men on the weekly, professionals usually buy on Friday (best percentage day for a buy). This will surely be interesting tomorrow. Be nimble, this is penny world after all, nothing is a sure thing, but this one is looking positive. Remember there are options out, .31 and .68 I believe. We passed the .37, I'm now looking at .49. We still haven't seen a real spikey spike in volume, that's good at this point. >:D
A little higher volume this morning. Big blocks at .43 (27k). Holding .37
Would like to see consolidation here..bull flag/pennant? Holding .36-.38 as a new base level would really be a nice confirmation of this little move and leave it open for a run up to .49. A good volume day would put this on some radars. I'd like to see about 1.2M+. If it breaks .36 I'll likely bail and look to get back in around .30-.31.
I liked how it turned out today. JKN you may be right that it could flag. I think maybe it was a stop clearing day (or the equivilant in penny land) trying to shake weak hands and scoop shares. It didn't look like alot of sellers. Notice they didn't try to penetrate that .41 yet. For a bloody day in the market it held up good. When I consider the rise in oil etc., I think it should gain value. Overall I agree with your trading plan JKN. Nice to be riding with ya.
EVI "7-11" Oil Well to Begin Commercial Production
Monday , January 23, 2006 09:00 ET
LOS ANGELES, CA, Jan 23, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSE) is pleased to report that the EVI "7-11" oil well is scheduled to begin commercial production as of tomorrow, January 24th.
The construction crew has completed the installation of oil storage tanks and has installed the pump jack at the well head. The operator has informed the Company that the "7-11" is planned to be on production tomorrow and it will be closely monitored as to the barrels per day oil produced. The operator, Transaction Oil and Gas of Calgary, will determine the maximum production rate best suited for the well.
Silver Star will announce these production rates when sufficient data is available to make an accurate determination as to what the well will produce. As announced earlier, the anticipated I.P.R. based on testing results is 150 bpd. The Imperial Light 36.5 degree oil was quoted on Friday, January 20th, at $62.82 per barrel. Initially, oil will be trucked to the Husky "7-1" tank battery for sale and shipping approximately 2 1/2 miles away.
I appreciate the remarks shipman. I get the wonderful opportunity to spend the week in DC at a conference. I rather be keelhauled. At least the weather is not horrible.
This news ought to really help us out from the consolidation standpoint. I missed the run to .44 this morning. If I recall correctly, they are a little ahead of schedule on getting this well operational. I hope to see this thing test .49 soon. ;D
heavier vol. today ;D Big blocks being swallowed at the ask. ;D ;D Very positive. I hope they get a higher initial rate on this new well, but 9k a day is great for starters. I appreciate JKN and La-Onda for the support on the board. This is shaping up very well. Getting real strong here. Heard on CNBC today that there is large short interest on the price of NG... If the NG price goes higher.... and we see short covering... that could propell the NG price higher....thus enhancing this puppy even more. Rock and Roll
Later today.... Finished strong... above average volume. Here's the daily and weekly. Just checked multiple time frames, and it seems that MACD, stoch, Rsi, ect. are all very positive on all of them. What I am particularly excited about is that the MACD is crossing even on the longest of them. :o I can see .60.

Wow, great news la-onda, thanks for posting :) (and nice move from the stock, up 16% yesterday).
Let me see, 150 bpd * $62.82 per barrel = $9,423 per day, which gives me $3.44 M in revenues for an entire year. If we recall that 2005 revenues were something like $1.37M, this new well is a big improvement.
Technically I was a bit worried about $0.41, but the stock closed yesterday at $0.45.
40% profit now, I'll continue holding :)
ARCA trying to walk this puppy down. Most sales going off at the ask. A few at the bid. Could just be building in order to take out the 200dma. I like the fact that MM's are conscious of the need for building support. No problem with a little consolidation here. Oil coming off a high (temporary in my opinion). We obviously hit some supply or mm's are trying scoop again by applying down pressure. Nobody seems to be biting on the proposition. Most just keep biting the ask. If (if) there's covering this afternoon and SVSE closes above
.477. :o Then this thing will torch. >:D >:D
Later today... Not bad on the close....healthy...held .45,don't think it went down as much as the mms would have liked. By looking at the weekly you can see that volume hasn't peaked (it would take 2.5-5 million on a single day), this is positive. Another note, it's only taken 5 to 6 million or so shares to drive this puppy up 40%, there is 85 million shares out. If somebody is trying to buy up a percentage of this company do you think that 7% is enough? I don't.
Pattern repeating on the intraday chart, looks good for tomorrow, time will tell.
just fyi:

The Company last released news on April 14, 2005:
"Silver Star Energy Initiated With Speculative Buy / 4 Rating and 12-Month Target Price of $1.50 By Investrend Affiliate SISM Research"
I thought SVSE.OB would be up more on yesterday's news: EVI "7-11" Oil Well to Begin Commercial Production (http://www.marketwatch.com/tools/quotes/newsarticle.asp?siteid=mktw&sid=1633278&guid=%7BFD9081D4%2D0B83%2D4116%2D85F9%2DC4B62A225DCC%7D&symb=)
Probably the stock is overbought and there was some sell the news phenomena ... I'll take profits around today's open on SVSE.OB, perhaps I'll come back to it later.
I wrestled last nite on what to do. I saw David's call too late. Got worried?(Emotions will kill you in the market) Sold half at .41. 68% ;D As usual I think we on this board are ahead of the curve on this one. I think .40 should hold, if it doesn't I'll sell the rest and wait for the .49 break. The news on the well was early....but, the real news I've been waiting for is the quarterly revenue. SVSE could still be in play, retracement is healthy, support here is critical. Absolute sell if it breaks and closes below .37.
Thanks La onda good post.
Better than expected results for the 7-11 well. 160-170 barrels a day. ;D
Heavier volume this morning. Bid rising. I think I'll try to re enter a little here. Bid ofcourse.
**If anyone has a fibbonaci chart setup, could you post it for svse please.

North Franklin Production in January Totals 94.94 Mmcf -- Deep Forbes "F-1" Well to Begin February 18
Friday , February 03, 2006 09:00 ET
LOS ANGELES, CA, Feb 03, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: SVSE) today is pleased to announce the January gas production at the North Franklin Project, Sacramento California. Production from the Company's two gas wells, the "Archer-Whitney #1" and "Archer-Wildlands #1" totaled 94.94 Mmcf. The average daily production rate for the month of January totaled 3.062 Mmcf per day from the two wells combined. Silver Star is also pleased to announce that it has been informed by the operator that a tentative spud date for the "Archer-F-1" deep Forbes gas well has been set for February 18th. Silver Star has been waiting for a drilling rig and it is now expected to be onsite at the North Franklin Project on the aforementioned date. The site and road have been prepared, casing and tubing purchased and all necessary permits and licenses have been received. The 12,000 foot "Archer-F-1" well has been designed to test both the producing Winters sands as well as the Forbes; the primary objective of this well. All parties have advanced funds in full for the drilling costs of the well.
Silver Star will endeavor to update the tentative spud date when and if further information is made available from the operator.
daily, I saw .42 trade at the bell, small size though. Annual should be out in the next week or two, should be good. >:D
Anyone still with me on this one? ??? I know the oil/gas complex is moderating. I'm expecting news out soon, within a week or two. I would like any input/opinion. I'm holding half a position now and there seems to be little action. Watching and waiting. -ship
I bailed at .44 (in at .31) with about 40% profit. I've been following it and like the way its basing here...bodes well for an upward move. Unfortunatley, I moved those dollars into INSM.
As far as the Fibs go, they look good to me. If I take the Fib retracement as beginning at the most recent bottom (.21) to the most recent high (.495), then SVSE has not touched 50% and is closing above the 61.8% although it has pierced that level a few times.
Volume has declined on the pullback. I'd say this thing will retest the .495 sometime soon. I also think that the .50-.54 range has alot of resistance. If it breaks .495 on volume and runs past .54 then somewhere in the mid .60s is the next big resistance level.
I missed the opportunity to rebuy my shares at .36/.37 but I'll be watching if I have any trading cash available.
PS. I hope the attachment works, first time I've tried this !
Here's a better chart with the Fibs correct this time.
Thanks Bro.
Your welcome, I noticed that I still didn't get the chart right so I'll try again.
Loaded the other half today .37. Time will tell, I truly believe that the quarterly/annual will be good news. High inventories have brought prices down, but we've got a nasty storm hitting the east this weekend that might take a dent out of em' and get people thinkin' about a reversal in short term trend. Thanks again. Good Luck--Stay warm :D
P.S.--Didn't they say another well, soon. ;)
Touched the 50% retracement momentarily late today. Formed a perfect doji. Tomorrow should be up. Another note, 50sma is nearing a cross over the 90sma. Here's the daily.
Totally wrong >:(
Coming back? :-\ Still holding 3/4. Did you see that dip? Woulda coulda shoulda--Do your DD-- Here's an intraday.
Might as well try another chart, I'm bound to get this right sooner or later...
I really like the way this thing got support below .36, unfortunately, I'm outta trading cash. :(
Here's an hourly chart from the last 4 weeks that shows the support.

100 day cross coming up. Don't know how long it takes to drill 12000 feet, but I see a .035 cent risk and at least a .08 cent reward from closing price. For tomorrow, Buy trigger at .41, Sell trigger at .33. FYI, holding. Here's a daily.
I've been soooo patient with this one... expecting more good things....for one we should get Feburary numbers soon. Test results from deep well. And annual results sometime soon, rumor is end of the month. Watch it, if it breaks .42 I'm gonna double down. Shiz, I might do it before that. I would wait for another dip, but I doubt it is going to materialize. I think it looks good here. Somebody shoot me down, I'm so positive it's creepy.
Nothing special today. They announced their spud is in place. Not much action. Still expecting Feb. output results and an annual later this month. Gonna be good.... Ride the 50 dma. if it breaks the 200dma load up. Fyi- bought some more .35 yeah buddy.
So they wanna go to the AMEX. Sounds good to me. ;D

"Archer-F 1" Well Drills Gas Filled Winters Sand -- Well Now Drilling Ahead to Forbes
Monday March 20, 9:00 am ET
LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 20, 2006 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) today is pleased to issue a preliminary drilling report on the "Archer-F 1" gas well at North Franklin. The well is drilling ahead past 9,000 feet after drilling through and logging the upper Winters objective.
The "Archer-F 1" well, as in the previous two wells, drilled Winters sand pay with excellent gas shows in the mud log. The suite of Resistivity and Sonic electronic logs showed clean sand pay with 100% gas fill-up within the pay zone. The intersected sand pay and gas shows exceeds in pay thickness what is producing at the "Archer-Whitney" and "Archer-Wildlands" wells. The drilling rig continues towards the total depth of 12,000 feet with an anticipated T.D. for the well in 5 to 7 days. The 12,000 foot "Archer-F 1" well was designed to test both the producing Winters sands as well as the Forbes; the primary objective of this well.
Robert McIntosh, President of Silver Star, states, "The 'F 1' well Winters pay zone success means Silver Star will have another commercial gas well if the Forbes target is not productive. However, we are confident by the presence of a strong seismic anomaly in the Forbes similar in nature to the known Winters gas, and that the chances remain good that the deep Forbes will come in as a gas well."

Second RADAR alert for this one today. Check it. >:D Unusual action and volume. Could it become another cwpc? I say why not?
LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 22, 2006 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) today is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative agreement respecting the acquisition of a minimum of a 25% interest in a private Alberta oil and gas company ("Altaco"), either by the purchase of shares or the acquisition of an interest in specified assets. Altaco is presently undergoing a formal valuation of its assets. Upon the completion of the valuation, details of the acquisition will be finalized. It is expected that the price paid for the assets or shares acquired will include a combination of cash and equity.
Altaco has a majority interest in a mid-stream natural gas play located in Southeastern Alberta. The project targets one of few undeveloped gas fields remaining in southern Alberta and Altaco has taken advantage of a unique opportunity to develop a large lease package with significant reserves contained in an area of comparatively shallow targets, while maintaining a position as owner and operator of a significant portion of the pipeline and related infrastructure. As weather permits, Altaco is planning to explore and develop the potentially significant reserves contained in three highly prospective zones. Altaco currently owns a majority interest in a natural gas plant facility that is linked to a transporting pipeline that runs south near the U.S.-Canadian border. It also owns the pipeline infrastructure that will be used to tie-in targeted production areas.
Altaco is currently in negotiations with several major oil and gas companies to significantly expand its area land position. It is also expected that, with control of the critical infrastructure in the area, other producers will be obliged to deal directly with Altaco. Silver Star estimates that the costs of developing the project will be an average of 40% lower (based upon prevailing industry rates) than would ordinarily be expected due to the position of Altaco as operator, combined with its strategic partnership and close alliance with a fully operational drilling company and its related personnel.
Robert McIntosh, President of Silver Star, states, "This acquisition is representative of Silver Star's near-term objective; to increase levels of vertical integration as circumstances permit in order to enhance control and profitability in all aspects of its oil and gas operations. The strategic partnerships with drilling contractors and other industry personnel that Silver Star has developed on its own, and that exist through Altaco, will allow Silver Star to efficiently and cost effectively exploit identified projects and reservoir targets at a time when the industry is plagued by a shortage of oil and gas field equipment, parts and personnel."

Thanks for the link La-Onda. .60 looks like a good target to me. Have a feeling it's gonna be sooner than later. Earnings coming soon, possible run up till then. Holding tough. Trying to walk it down at the moment, I'm not falling for it. If we can clear that .42 it's on like donkey kong.
