Title: PHEI.PK
Post by: David Randolph on June 06, 2005, 08:40:09 AM
I know I said I would be away from pennies for a while but I can't resist this one because the chart and the fundamental story seem to embrace such short term potential.

The company is a recent IPO, take a look at the all history chart:

Now the profile: «Infinium Labs, Inc (IFLB.OB). Formerly known as Global Business Resources, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to market and sell the combination video game console and broadband video game services. The Groups services and systems allow consumers to search, preview, purchase and play a large selection of interactive entertainment online. The services of the Group incorporate both gameplay and content distribution, "Phantom Game Console" and "PhantomNet VPGN". The Group is in development stage.»

The short term chart:

You almost can't see it in the chart but the stock was up 44% yesterday with huge volume.

I don't know if this company's business model will work or not. They are doing this with the game industry to combat piracy and increase revenues, charging a monthly fee to play thousands of games online when and wherever you want (but without the possibility of copying them). As I said I don't know if their business model will work or not (you can dig more at the company's website (http://www.phantom.net/default.asp)) but that's not the issue here.

What matters is that we have a nice looking chart ready to bounce a lot of percentage points and a story to speculate. And the story is:

- This company is making efforts to be listed on the AMEX instead of the OTCBB

«Infinium expect the company to meet the AMEX listing requirements. The timing on when a listing decision will be made has not yet been determined. AMEX is the third largest stock exchange in the country, is the only primary exchange that offers trading across a full range of equities, options and exchange traded funds. Being listed on AMEX would afford Infinium Labs stockholders a more efficient and regulated marketplace for trading shares and would also provide greater appeal to institutions who may not be able to invest on the over-the-counter bulletin board. http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/040810/105528_1.html (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/040810/105528_1.html)»

- The company's CEO will be on TV today explaining and promoting its products

«SARASOTA, Fla., June 6, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Infinium Labs' (IFLB) president and chief operating officer, Kevin Bachus, will appear on G4 TV "Attack of the Show" airing today, Monday, June 6th. The show will feature Mr. Bachus demonstrating the Phantom Game Service and Phantom Game Receiver.

The show will air live today at 4:00 p.m. PDT / 7:00 p.m. EDT and will re-air at 9:00 p.m. PDT / midnight EDT, at midnight PDT / 3:00 a.m. EDT, at 9:00 a.m. PDT / noon EDT on Tuesday, June 7.»

I've just bought  @ .128

Rules to trade pennies:
#1 - You must have balls
#2 - Your balls should be hard
#3 - You must put your balls on the table
#4 - You can't buy all your equity on a penny, not even 20% of your equity

If you want a 100% short term gain, you must have no fear of a 30% drawdown, and you must believe in your trade.

I think this crazy opening, and this drop is part of the game, the weak hands have fall apart and sold, and the strong hands had hold or buy. The road is open to the next big move.

congrats !

Nice entry Rogue, but regarding your entry rules what if I am a Lady Trader :-*

Most people fear the pennies as if they were some kind of unpredictable monsters. but at the end is just a question of money management. David is using a 6.6% rule for his positions, I use something like that, I start with 5% and I had another 5% if it goes on my way, but I never let more then 10% on one stock, specially a penny.

The thing is, if IFLB rises to $0.45, which is my target, I'll just be glad. And if it drops to 0.085 which is my stop level, I wont waste my sleep over it. hehehehe

Probably the big move will only be tomorrow, after the TV show and after some more cleaning on the actual holders of this stock.

IFLB.OB has an experienced president this gameservice should work 2005:

One of the best-known and most highly respected executives in the video game industry, Kevin Bachus involvement in Infinium Labs™ marks his second game console launch. He was one of the original group of four individuals at Microsoft® Corporation who came up with the idea for the Xbox™ videogame console, an initiative that grew in part out of his role as group product manager for DirectX™.

As Microsoft's first director of third-party relations for Xbox, Kevin secured support for Xbox from all major game publishers worldwide and created and managed the programs and processes that would ultimately lead to the strongest software line-up ever for the launch of a game console.

What is driving this stock lower? I am not aware that you can short a stock on BB. Is that a reason or profit taking by traders?

This stock is down significantly. Its not showing any upward motion.

Also from Dec charts, is this time to sell or wait for short upward spike?

I can be wrong, but I've been on Decembers move, and what I feel is this is normal.

You have a 50% up move with 15M shares last Friday.
So theres a lot of short term gainers and short term losers in the play. Gainers are afraid of loosing their profits, and losers are afraid of a bigger loss.

been there & done that  >:D

Once you have some cleaning around the house, this stock may start a similar move. the signal is triggered... but only the strong and believers will take profit of it.

I'll sell IFLB above $0.40 or below $0.09.... not in the middle.

I really like the historical analysis Rogue Trader.

I think we also have some support here, lets see how the day ends.

Lets not forget that there was near 15 million in Volume on Friday, 10 million on Monday.  This pullback is very light.

I also have a feeling, as I am watching level II, that SCHB(SCHWAB), is accumulating.  Anyone else have any thoughts?
Title: Re: Gimmy some mo: IFLB.OB

IFLB.OB is pulling back from the big white candle's close. It failed to cross $0.155 on the short term so we have a correction from that 44% advance day. Volume has been decreasing on the pullback which is a mildly bullish signal.

The thing that will tell us if this stock has legs to push higher or not is the magnitude of the pullback. Fibonacci retracement levels can help us with that. So, if the stock retraces just 50% of the prior move it is because the move was genuine, it had a fundamental motive attached to it. If IFLB.OB closes below the 50% retracement level (at about $0.125) I must conclude the white candle day was just a speculative spike and the stock will continue sleeping.

Some important news from May:

Phantom Game Receiver Ranked Among Top 25 of 2005 by Maxim Magazine
SARASOTA, Fla., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Phantom Game Receiver from Infinium Labs (OTC Bulle-tin Board: IFLB) was ranked in "Top Gear: The Top 25 of 2005" in the May issue of Maxim magazine, the #1 men's lifestyle magazine in the nation, with a circulation of over 2.5 million per month. The Phantom was ranked alongside such industry giants as Sony, Verizon Wireless and Pioneer Electronics.
"Gamester's Paradise. Buying new games used to require a car and a nearby game store. Infinium's Phantom game receiver skips the middle by connecting to your TV and downloading the goods directly via broadband. And, unlike at the neighborhood game shop, you can demo titles from your armchair before buying." ... Maxim, May 2005 (http://www.maximonline.com)

"His skills and leadership will provide a more integrated approach to the marketplace, maximizing opportunities for our channel part-ners and creating a seamless brand experience for our customers."
Schneider previously served as Infinium's Senior Vice President of Marketing. A few posts ago I mentioned that IFLB was setting up a continuation flag supported by the 9ema. This daily chart shows what I mean by that. Now generally this is a very bullish continuation signal and I expect IFLB to resolve out the flag upwards. This is not a guarantee just a signal, which keeps me in the trade.

good post aussietrader!.......there was really no big sell off, a doji formed that could be a reversal bullish sign...and institutional interest increased to 18% yesterday compared to 1 % the last month.

Here an interesting post from internetabyss:

Gap...here it is.

3 days of trading at .10 with 9 million shares traded.

Now we are at .13 let say 15 million shares in new hands long term hands.

The 15 million accounts for shares ranging from .115 -.145

In order for support to hold level of prices so it goes up the gap has to fill so that then new holders wont sell and go long for a gain.

This stock will slowly walk up which is good if left alone. but a big PR comes and it goes up 50 percent then you have the profit taking that leaves Gaps to be filled.

THe only way this will SKY rocket in a weeks time is if this has AWESOME pr...it will reach all time highs and then retrace to somehting resonable.

THe price right now is very low and a good buy But since people fear risk and need more confidence they will slowly walk it up while others AKA daytraders stop flipping it for short term and hold longer believeing in the company and that they hold some-thing that near term may double or triple.

Thats the name of the game here on the OTCBB. Untill everyone is fully on board with a LONG position it will jump up and down. THe companies final performance (JAN 2006) will show if its something to keep under your pillow or cash out.

Until launch and Funding will this stock hold steady climbs IMHO.

Its not the company jacking with the stock price...It is really the bottomline investor, daytraders buying those blocks of 5k-25k that are manipulating it and playing games with the stock.

We had a doji candle on IFLB.OB. This means traders are undecided about continuing selling IFLB.OB. Usually indecision precedes a change in short term trend. The stock came to its 61.8% retracement level and closed above the 50% level. This is bullish behavior. I'll keep the stock.

some scattered thoughts(non-technical):

I read the interview and saw the phantom video.  As a speculator, what I believe is that the announcement of when the system will be out will cause a huge runnup in price.  According to the video, that will be within a couple of weeks(to me this means by 6/17).

Also as a speculator I like the actual game service itself.  This would be a very valuable acquisition because it would be easy to integrate into any system...(buyout? Microsoft?)...perhaps that is why the President/COO said that they will announce when X-Box 360 announces.

I was worried about where to put a keyboard and mouse in the living room but they have a realy cool lapboard(I play games and I think this idea is great).  There is no better game control out right now that could compare with a keyboard and mouse duo.

What they need is funding.  I think they will get it, or have it already.

Oh another issue is that a living room game device's greatest fun is in multiplayer games right in the living room with friends.  Computer games mostly do not address this...i wonder how Infinium will combat this...hmm

As a speculator, though, I'm in this play for the intangible possiblilities(excitement, potential).

Title: Re: Gimmy some mo: IFLB.OB
Post by: fantazia on June 09, 2005, 12:40:03 PM
Technicals aside,  I agree with you EliteG the excitement potential will be here if they come out with an important PR.  I believe the important factor that will really drive the price higher (if it happens) will be securing funding for the phantom. Judging from the article on G4 TV, COO wants to wait before announcing any lunch date until other pieces of the puzzle progress enough to validate this second lunch attempt and give it credibility.  Funding will be the real driver behind this stock, and I think we are getting close to that time, either way will see what happens.

Best of luck!

if the day ends like this...tomorrow has the probability of making a major move.

inside day - candle's range is within the other candles range, also known as Harami (pregnant in japanese i believe)

doji - candle with close and open virtually the same(relative) shows indecision...precedes decision(we are looking for a big upward decision :D)

check out this new chart, pretty slick huh?

large blocks of trades going thru (250-600K), especially at close for the last few days. I am assuming these are buys as they happen at ASK. Can one conclude this a positive indicator for us to hold on to IFLB???Can one also assume these must be institutional??

PS> I thought the interview with KB was very positive, very forthright and to the point. Impressed, so far!
Title: Re: Gimmy some mo: IFLB.OB

hey starfire,

institutions usually dont mess around with OTC market...
a buy at the ask also means someone was offering that stock there...

but you do want people buying at the ask...so I consider that positive.

Also...inside day on tiny volume is followed by expansion.  Look for that tomorrow or the following week.  We may still have a bit more consolidating here.  A lil news...and we're outta here.  ;D  I'm giving this one breathing room.

Starfire,

here's a great lesson by David

"«Institutions were the buyers». «There was an institutional seller on the stock».

I have this question: since when the institutions are always right, more, since when did the institutions on average made money? They make money on bull markets, they lose it on bear markets. They underperform the market by all means. Why should I follow their steps?"

I think as traders in the year 2005 we suffer from OVERinformation...cut out the fat...cut out the I-watch, the price prediction sites...focus on what will keep you safe and make you money.

And here's a quote I am famous for...(hehe)... Tonight...Tonight we Feast...tomorrow..tomorrow we Fight!

very true! i am not a trader but i am trying to be one in the shadow of 3SoF! however i doubt i'll ever the trading skills of some you folks. i am learning! as of today i feel more confortable with mid to long term investments.

But wait i did learn one aspect of trading....
if the stock is at its lows and volume is high (for the last few days) and given the soundness of business, it is worth buying.

mile to go!
Title: Re: Gimmy some mo: IFLB.OB
Post by: David Randolph on June 10, 2005, 07:04:43 AM
Another doji on IFLB.OB as indecision mounts. This is not quite an Harami because the candlestick theory cares only about the «body» of a candle (difference between open and close, and ignores the low and the high of the day), so a doji can't be followed by an Harami.

Calling it an inside day is more accurate, because westerns consider the low and the high of the day so the last session on IFLB.OB was an inside day because the day's range was inside the prior day's range.

Decision time is probably coming soon for IFLB.OB, everything is set for it to be bullish.

The selling pressure is abating in IFLB.OB. No great technical damage was made by the last 3 indecision candles (dojis - when open=close - mean indecision by traders).

Decision day is coming and there's nowhere to go but up.

Hi Everybody...

Am a newbie to penny stocks... am planning to buy some IFLB Monday. Questions.... It is hard for me to get to a computer for 5 or 10 minutes uninterrupted... so that rules out checking the price during the day and buying if it is down.. except for lunchtime. I was thinking about putting in a limit order in now at 13 cents..  I don't know too much the moneymakers.... if I put in a limit order of 13 cents and the price is really 11 cents will they fill my order at 11 or since I gave them "Card Blanche" will they fill at 13 ?  Thanks in advance for your thoughts.... I have more questions, but will hold for later post.

Have a Great Day !   ;D

If you put an order to buy IFLB.OB @$0.13 now this is what will happen: you will buy at tomorrow's open if it is at or below $0.13 (at the opening price). If the open is above $0.13 you won't buy nothing, unless price comes down to $0.13 during the session.

«if I put in a limit order of 13 cents and the price is really 11 cents will they fill my order at 11 or since I gave them "Card Blanche" will they fill at 13 ?»

If the open is 11 cents you will buy at 11 cents, even if you put a buy order at 20 cents.

But be carefull with penny stocks, they can move a lot, up or down. You perhaps should start learning how the market works with a more conservative stock. But the market is free and you're the boss of your money, I wish you good luck !

Ask anything you want, you're welcome  :)

Read my daily analysis of the stock:

http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=444.msg2580#msg2580

I think it is pretty clear. If I didn't thought the stock was bullish I would sell it at first chance. There are 11000 stocks competing for my money, I don't have the time or resources to waste in a bearish stock.

This message board has incredible technology, it warned me you've answered again before I post this message. But I'm going to post it anyway ... see you tomorrow, going to bed now, it's pretty late.

Volume was a bit higher today on IFLB.OB. Besides that, nothing new. I'm still holding the stock and closing my eyes and ears to fundamentals (it was because of fundamentals that I sold LRLSQ.OB (http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=381.0), the stock was going to be delisted soon, reports said - reports might be true, but the only thing they prevented me was from making a 100% profit the next day  ???).

The last three candlesticks formed a Bullish Tri Star Pattern . This is a bullish reversal pattern that marks a potential change in trend. However, its reliability is not very high and it requires confirmation.

Some random thoughts,

This one is definitely not for the weak at heart :)  ,but I don't think the fundamentals are all that gloomy.  I believe in Kevin Bachus, why would he stick around at Infinium if he didn't believe in the phantom project, I am sure any major gaming company wouldn't mind having him on board.  He did seem very confident in the video, and he is the first to know what is going on with the funding and the launch. And why would he stick his neck out again on the phantom if he didn't really believe in getting what is needed to launch the product.  But I agree with David I don't really care if the phantom will succeed but only here for a speculative trade. And I appreciate David's daily update on the chart and everyone's thoughts be it good or bad. Heck the last time this stock had a major rally the company was in no better financial shape and still no product realeased , but I feel this time around the market is being more cautious and waiting on some hard evidence before taking off and this is being reflected in the chart.

Great site! and best of luck to all!

Dead bang on.  You can see it in the charts.  The first few spikes are huge over, well, nothing.

You can see the spikes are MUCH lower now, even when there is 'big' news like actually showing the Phantom console/demo.  It's not vapourware anymore, but the market has gotten wise to Phantom.

I don't know honestly what to do, I'm just going to hold and see.  IMO, it will go sideways for a fairly long time (months).

Another day, another doji in IFLB.OB. We have so much conflicting fundamental news and analysis that I'm like ehos, holding and waiting. I'll hold and wait as long as the stock closes above $0.125.

As I was trying to think what will be next statement release from Infinium.

I read following  10Q report submitted on 23rd may 2005.

"We are negotiating terms with retail partners. We have presented term sheets to Electronic Boutique, however, negotiations have been suspended pending the completion of the merger of Electronic Boutique and GameStop. We have presented terms to Best Buy, Circuit City and Target. We expect to contract one of the three within 120 days. All contracts include 10% - 20% gross margin on the Phantom Receiver, 10% - 40% on Phantom accessories, 10% revenue share on the monthly subscription and approximately 10% on Phantom game purchases."

Its interesting to see if they get shelf space in any one of the three.

PS: But still I stand by the technical stock price analysis which is done on the website....Also, its needs some volume for the movement....

IFLB.OB probably won't advance in the short term. Obviously investors are waiting for some resolution to see if the company will really be able to sell the Phantom game service.

I'll give it a week or so more, I believe the downside potential is not huge but the upside is. Sometimes a man must be prepared for a 20 to 30% loss so he can catch a 100 to 200% move. And when this stock takes off it won't give me time to jump on board ... not quite my style here.

Lower and lower volume in IFLB.OB, which, incredibly, is a bullish thing. I have some information and I'll believe it as long as the market action confirms it. So I'm expecting IFLB.OB to be in this tight range of $0.12 to $0.13 with lower and lower volume for a week or so. Then, suddenly, the stock will trade higher to the $0.18-$0.20 area, with no news.

I wish to say no more, but I'm holding the stock as long as market action confirms my suspicion.

IFLB.OB is acting as it should. Trade in the narrow range of $0.12-$0.13 with lower and lower volume. It's been 11 sessions since the white marubozu, it is almost time for it to climb, not because of many buyers but because of an absence of sellers.

We'll see ... in the meantime I'll keep the shares as long as they act as I expect, based on information I don't want to disclose to protect my sources.

Words are just words, they must be confirmed by market action for me to be a believer. As of now market action is confirming words, bullish words.

Infinium Labs Subpoenaed In SEC Fax Probe

.

Infinium Labs Inc. (IFLB) has been subpoenaed in connection with a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation regarding fax blasts. Infinium President and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Bachus told Dow Jones Newswires Wednesday that the company isn't being investigated by the SEC.

Also from Dec charts, is this time to sell or wait for short upward spike?

my take.....in case they do not get funding, they will pursue alternate plan of OEMing the Phantom receiver. i feel they are getting ready to announce. they need to deliver this year or they loose credibility. if they are going to release this year, they need to announce soon!! the following S-8 is an indicator in that direction.
"Form S-8 -- Securities to be offered to employees in employee benefit plans"

It's very hard for a speculator to argue against a 20% plus loss in a single position (about 1.33% loss in global portfolio).

This is the hard part of speculation: taking losses, sometimes larger than we wanted or expected. I could keep the stock for the long term, just to see if that Phantom game box gets out, but I can't. I took so many painful lessons trading the markets that when I'm losing more than 20% in one single stock I start getting headaches, remembering the past ... it hurts so much, hiding losses in the back of our head, but not quite getting rid of them.

When I'm losing more than 20% I have to sell, I don't care at what price ... that's why I don't like to know too much about a company, I might fall in love for the story and have a greater difficulty when the time to sell comes, as is happening now.

Selling IFLB.OB today, probably at the open.

Mr. Randolph, please do not fall into the trap of past conditioning. Each venture is different and the outcome can become light-year's apart. Go by the data sir and believe. This is how you got involved in this caper in the first place. You saw something. It could crash and burn, but I don't think so.

Craig,

Can you explain succinctly, what you are trying to convey? Does this share have potential to rise, if yes, by how much, what is analysis behind it? What information or data you have to support your claim?

This board has been great as it is not a pump and dump board but a technical short term analysis board. IFLB hasn't given the expected results expected for short term trading after one white marzabou candle and it has been falling back to its same levels.

Thanks,
Dhiraj

Accually, the message that I've presented in my previous post is second-hand info, but we are waiting for official news on funding at ragingbull.com. we have a former employee who may have significant insight into the company. If I hear of anything substantial, I'll catch you up friends. Like this:

http://www.phantom.net/investors/default.asp
This is, of course, rough speculation.

Oh, and according to the above Press Release, I believe that they (Infinium Labs) intend on going to the stock holders' profiles, through the help of Sharetel's services, for better regulating trade compliance of it's shares, thereby controlling greedy Market Makers and short sellers.
Check it...

If the stock closes below $0.10 probably Phantom will never see the light of the day  :'(

The CEO himself promised the stock wouldn't close below $0.10 ... but he also said the stock would be up to the $0.17 - $0.18 after some consolidation in the $0.12-$0.13 area. Didn't happen, so I stop believing it.

If it closes below $0.10 it's over, the story has no credibility whatsoever. Good luck to stockholders of IFLB.OB.

The CEO said that shares were being sold on the market to pay off debts.
That has ended.  The lower volume appears to lend credibility to that.

Phantom has too much at stake not to be released.  Buy and hold.  Release will be announced to be President's Day weekend.

I agree, below 10 cents would be a sell.  Until then, the story remains intact. 8)

Still has not closed below 10 cents.

The volume has gone down.

Exactly what the CEO said.

I bought more in anticipation of a move up from here.

Not sure when, but 25 plus million already tied in developing the Phantom.
The well known people tied to the company would leave if it was not going to be released.

Will reconsider if ever Closes below 10 cents.

If not, I will add with confidence here.

stocky.. Take care and good luck.

In today at .106....   This company really hits home for me. I can't tell you how many computer games I have purchased and they sit collecting dust because they suck, and I'm stuck with them... they are not returnable. I will gladly pay whatever per month to play current up to date games, whenever and forever how long I want to play.  No worry about a game not coming up to my expectations. No worry about updates. No worry about adjusting settings in my computer to play a certain game, and turning the setting back to play another. Case in point... Flight Simulator will not get off the ground unless I turn the sound acceleration down a notch. When making a movie in Movie Maker II I get choppy or no sound unless I crank up the acceleration to the max.

This company has a great idea... I gotta think with the big heads running it that they fully intend on it being a success. I feel .10 is the floor and we are litterly in at ground level. If it takes off it will make big money. It may take some time, and if it does then I am in for more shares from time to time.

Just in case this flops...  on a percentage basis I have not lost a lot.

Have a great weekend and holiday everybody !

The CEO told me the price will not close below .10 cents.
I have not idea how they can manipulate that to happen.

He said the Retail companies want it to be released Presidents Day Weekend.
Christmas already has so many marketing dollars at work.

I bought more and will anticipate a double on any news and easily over $ 1 as the date comes closer.

They are not going anywhere with 25 plus million and successful people involved with the Phantom.

It does not matter how it does long term, this price will move up big from here prior to the release.  Any news on funding...etc. will spike.

Holding in IRA and SEPP too.

Thank you for the kind words, you are sweet !  I enjoy your posts.   ;D

I am extremely analytical and try to cut through Rumors and speculation.
Guess the site can always count on me to inquire directly to the source with live telephone calls.  It helps ease my mind.  And if they show signs of being sketchy, I will not buy.

IFLB may not make it as a company long term.  I would be shocked if all of the people involved (X-Box Founder) and others let the 26 million in research and development go down the tube.  They need to have the price rise for investment capital.  I figure 100% plus gain is worth waiting for.  We will see.

It looks like it has repeated this same pattern during this lengthy fall.   Has a real nice rise for a day or two, then begins the decent once more.   Need to see a day or two more of climbing on nice volume, to see if the pattern has changed.

I think the reversal is in play. The fall is skittering to a halt. I bought in at .0489 and it looks good for a nice bounce at least for today.

They need to secure solid financing.  The CEO has a shady history during the Dot Com Boom. He is having trouble with the funding.

The product is not going to be released until February.  (President's Day).
I did not see much Level 2 Buying.

Infinium Labs Inc. has been on the OTCBB Naked Short Threshold list 3 times. Brokerage firms have been out of compliance with Regulation SHO once regarding IFLB. Regulation SHO took effect January 3, 2005, and provides a new regulatory framework governing short selling of securities. It was designed with the objective of simplifying and modernizing short sale regulation and providing controls where they are most needed. At the conclusion of each settlement day, data is provided on securities in which: 1) there are at least 10,000 shares in aggregate failed deliveries for the security for five consecutive settlement days, and 2) these failures constitute at least 0.5% of the issuer's total shares outstanding. SEC Regulation SHO, under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, mandates that, if a clearing agent has had a fail-to-deliver position for 13 consecutive settlement days, that clearing agent, and the broker/dealer it clears for, must purchase securities to close out its fail to deliver position.

About BUYINS.NET

BUYINS.NET is a service designed to help bonafide shareholders of publicly traded US companies fight naked short selling. Naked short selling is the illegal act of short selling a stock when no affirmative determination has been made to locate shares of the stock to hypothecate in connection with the short sale. BUYINS.NET has built a proprietary database that uses Threshold list feeds from NASDAQ, AMEX and NYSE to generate detailed and useful information to combat the naked short selling problem. For the first time, actual trade-by-trade data is available to the public that shows the attempted size, actual size, price and average value of short sales in stocks that have been shorted and naked shorted. This information is valuable in determining the precise point at which short sellers go out-of-the-money and start losing on their short and naked short trades.

BUYINS.NET has built a massive database that collects, analyzes and publishes a proprietary SqueezeTrigger for each stock that has been shorted. The SqueezeTrigger database of nearly 700,000,000 short sale transactions goes back to January 1, 2005 and calculates the exact price at which the Total Short Interest is short in each stock. This data was never before available prior to January 1, 2005 because the Self Regulatory Organizations (primary exchanges) guarded it aggressively. After the SEC passed Regulation SHO, exchanges were forced to allow data processors like BUYINS.NET to access the data.

The SqueezeTrigger database collects individual short trade data on over 7,000 NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stocks and general short trade data on nearly 8,000 OTCBB and PINKSHEET stocks. Each month the database grows by approximately 50,000,000 short sale transactions and provides investors with the knowledge necessary to time when to buy and sell stocks with outstanding short positions. By tracking the size and price of each month's short transactions, BUYINS.NET provides institutions, traders, analysts, journalists and individual investors the exact price point where short sellers start losing money and a short squeeze can begin.
