"Technically" its not a perfect cup w/handle because the right side of the cup is higher than the left but I think you are correct into referring to it that way. Thats what I would call it because you would play it basically the same way. One would make the buy with a break of the handle high.
This is another way to see it:
Wow....I must applaud you for digging this up again! ;)

HOUSTON, Jun 28, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ENGlobal Corporation (ENG, Trade), a leading provider of engineering and systems services, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ENGlobal Systems, Inc. ("ESI"), has been awarded a contract for three remote instrument buildings by JGC (USA), Inc., a subsidiary of JGC Corporation ("JGC"). JGC, based in Yokohama, Japan, is an international engineering and construction company and a new customer to ENGlobal. The contract value is approximately $2 million and will be performed in ESI's Houston, Texas facility.
ENGlobal expects to provide engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, control systems, installation and testing services for the buildings. Upon completion and system testing, ESI will ship the remote instrument buildings to a major petrochemical plant in Saudi Arabia. Delivery of the buildings to the Port of Houston is expected to occur in the third quarter of 2006.
The remote instrument buildings are significant in size and scope with the largest remote instrument building being 18' wide x 88' long x 14' high. The remote instrument buildings will be fabricated to include distributed control systems for multiple units within the plant, together with safety shutdown systems and other third party systems.
"This is ENGlobal's first project with JGC (USA) and we are highly privileged to interface with JGC Corporation in Yokohama, Japan. This contract further solidifies our commitment to ESI's international project capabilities, especially in Saudi Arabia, where we performed a similar project for six buildings within the past year. Both JGC and ESI are looking forward to the successful completion of the remote instrument buildings in 2006. This project continues to add to ESI's growing backlog," said ENGlobal's President and Chief Executive Officer Michael L. Burrow, P.E.

HOUSTON, Jun 27, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ENGlobal Corporation (ENG, Trade), a leading provider of engineering services, today announced that, for the second straight year, it has been named in The Zweig Letter "Hot 100" Firm Rankings as the fastest growing architecture, engineering, and planning (A/E/P) firm in the United States. ENGlobal also topped the "Hot 100" list in 2004 and received a second place ranking in 2003.
The "Hot 100" list is compiled by ZweigWhite, a national firm that provides management consulting services for the A/E/P industry. ENGlobal will be honored, along with the other "Hot 100" A/E/P Firms, at the sixth annual Zweig Letter Hot Firm Conference and Celebration to be held in October 2005 in Chicago, Illinois.
"ENGlobal is especially pleased to retain its number one ranking on Zweig's Hot Firm List," said William A. Coskey, P.E., Chairman of ENGlobal Corporation. "This repeat ranking gives us particular satisfaction in that it demonstrates that we have increasingly grown our business through internal initiatives as well as through mergers and acquisitions. We want to thank our valued clients for their continued support and especially want to recognize the over 1,500 ENGlobal employees for their hard work in helping us become one of the fastest growing companies in the United States."
Mark Zweig, publisher of the Zweig Letter, said, "To be number one on the Hot Firm list for two years in a row, ENGlobal Corporation has to be proud. It takes a total commitment to growth - and there are always critics of it, both inside and outside of companies - to achieve this kind of success. The bottom line is high-growth architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms consistently outperform the economy - and attract both the best clients and staff."

Bullish Facts on ENGlobal Growth

ENGlobal Investors. I work in South Louisiana for a Shell Petrochemical Refinery and I have numerous acquaintences within the petrochemical and oil & gas industry. I know a few engineers and piping designers who work for ENGlobal. I recently spoke to a couple of those acquaintences who work for ENGlobal. I told them I recently purchased ENGlobal shares to hold over the next few years and asked how the work load was in-house and on-site at local facilities. They told me that Exxon Mobil locally in Baton Rouge, who is a big client of ENGlobal, extended their contract and that ENGlobal is now hiring to keep up with the work load. Naturally as an ENGlobal Investor I questioned them on anything encouraging that they might be hearing within the local ENGlobal office. These guys have been with Englobal for a couple years and managers have recently met with employees within the past couple months encouraging them to think about purchasing ENGlobal stock and take advantage stock options. I asked them if the company had ever encouraged so adamently purchasing the company's stock before since they'd been working with the company and they said no. I took this as a very good sign. I'm an engineer and I've been thinking about potentially making a move within my industry while it's hot and ENGlobal I've been told through numerous sources would be a good candidate. The local office has a backlog off work that could last up to 6 years with current turn-a-round, grassroots, and facility upgrade projects. Trust me....I know what I'm talking about. I've been working in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries for 15 years so I have a good feel for the industry. Another good investment is ABP. I have an inquantance in the industry who has encouraged me to buy ABP now as well as ATPG.
More news, I see $10 before the end of year on this one. Easily. Notice the number one ranking.

another typical 3/4 point gain today. ;D
On fire again ladies and gents, hope some of you checked it out.
Been having it since the last pullback to the $5s. A correction will come sooner or later. Hopefully it ain't gonna touch my trailing stop yet.
Ram
Another typical day for ENG. Looking for another clear candle tommorow.
Hope you are right. I sold out today. Haven't seen that many day-3 rallies in these days. (Most recently being XWG.)
Another positive PR will take it up above $8 easily.
Ram
Congrats to all ENG longs. You got your day 3. It may even challenge the all time high, although I expect it to retrace before that happens.

Thanks, sold half today I still have a target of 10 though and will hold till it hits although a pullback will probably come tommorow or Friday. This baby has momentum.
ENG on a five day rally. Incredible, no?
It's gonna break some records if it goes above $10 without any major pullback. The stock is quite overextended by now, no question about that. But then the market cap is still less than a quarter billion. So who knows what the big buyers are thinking!
The fact that it's located in Houston is probably another positive. (Just my wicked sense of sarcasm.)
Ram
P.S. I lived in Houston for a year. So I actually know where that place exactly is.
hi,
is this a good time to buy again? i am not on my computer so i can't put up a chart. seems to have retraced back to about 50% of the previous range and looks set to move up. any imput would be appreciated,
just a beginner,
maxi
While doing some screening i came across ENG. Looks like it took a dive recently and is bouncing of support. Up 88 cents today after downtrend, looks like it could go a couple more dollars quickly. Expert opinion appreciated.
Hi! I've been following ENG for several weeks now, and I was happy to see todays rally. I wonder what sparked the rally, however. Nevertheless, if it continues I may consider buying some before it reaches it's previous high at 9.55.
I bought this at the early July breakout in the the low $4's, sold 1/2 just below $8 and then added more on Friday (8/19) at $7
Would love to have some exptert TA on this. I believe the lower support line was touched Thursday(8/18) at $6.35. I'm optimistic on this one and am calling Friday's candle the "first soldier!"
Comments please.

Up due to a Cramer pump, he mentioned the stock and thinks it will go to $12 soon ! ;D
Could be forming a base here. There is also a descending triangle.
Anyone have any other analysis?
There are already multiple threads on ENG. It would be easy to follow and look at the history if we all use search option and maintain single thread
some times if the search doesnt give any results try one more time. I came across that issue before.
Yea, I'm familiar with the search button... ::)
When you search for eng, "eng", "ENG", you always get the same thing...the first two pages of which, contain only one thread for ENG..."sold ENG for something else".
Anyone have any comments regarding the stock?
Thanks...Jody
nice ENG chart action the last few weeks, pre earning run?

Time to dust this one off again. Oil service companies are hot right now - look how AMEX stock BTJ is doing. ENG had some great earnings and a couple big volume moves in the past few days. If you think at over $3 a gallon for gas, oil companies are not going to do some major drilling and pumping, you are wrong-o!
ENG is one of the best companies under $10. Get it while its hot.
The other one I like is GLBL!
