Volume came in big today and now there is a rumor on raging bull of a pending big annoucement. I can not vouch for this there is no link I am just pulling this off of raging bull.
The news today : a very cash-rich company has reached a joint-venture with Dynamotive, where DYMTF will have a 51% part and which theoretical would mean that DYMTF could become the biggest oil-producing company in the world !
This involves also Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, who will participate in this mega-project !!!
I will post more about this within a few hours...
Looks like the rumor is true. 500000 traded in 5 minutes already.. ;DGet in cheap.
Somebody else has confirmed a major deal has been signed and a PR will be out next week. ;D
My personal opinion is that alternative fuel stocks are going to be big anyway -- I expect we will see a bubble in all stocks in this sector over the next year or two. So this may be a real nice tine to buy this one. ;D
Hey Lofigus, I think now that two people are confirming this over a Raging Bull it is solid. But, the original poster of this news is making it seem like a very big deal.. We will see next week.
Pompano,
I'll definately buy this rumor! Started a position today... >:D

Started this thread close to this time last year. DYMTF surely had excellent movement at that time and now I think it's time again.
President Bush will address the country with his state of the union speech on Tuesday, and the word is he will be talking about alternative energy. Look at this a STU play, I will take a position tommorow and probably sell on Thursday. I was looking at the chart for DSTI and that seems like it will be and excellent play also. ;)
PRIMED CHART
Well, my plan worked well. ;)
Well, after selling for a nice profit friday, I have decided to buy back DYMTF.OB at a higher price due to technical and fundamental reasons. First the chart is showing a breakout of a symmetrical triangle on some very good volume. On the fundametal side the company has a weak balance sheet, but then again, what start up has a strong balance sheet?
What I am looking at as a speculator, is the fact that alternative fuel sources seem to have gotten a grip on the world, due to environmental and tactical reasons. Even hardliners like President Bush are coming around. The point is, I want to ask myself, what could this company be worth? Well, I guess we will see. The chart alone makes this a buy, in my opinion.

Biofuel play breaking out on no news....

Still following this stock Pompano? Looks interesting, but dilution is scary.
88 million, Dec. 31, 2004
162 million, Sept. 30, 2006

Hi buddjas, yep I still am following DYMTF.OB. 88 mil to 162 in two years, that's still a pretty low share count for a company trying to position itself as one of the leading biofuel makers. Chart is still looking pretty solid, and they are working closely with Mitsubishi on things, so unless the dillution just starts getting out of hand, I still see this as a pretty decent play.
Here is some more news about DYMTF.OB. The CEO recentely had a presentation and here are some of the key points he addressed to the crowd.
1. Before the end of this calendar year, shares of DYMTF will most probably be listed on another Exchange, so away from the OTC (AMEX). Kingston ensured us that all prerequisites to be listed on AMEX are fulfilled, except the share price, because that should be at least 2 $ for a period of at least 3 months !
2. The Mitsubishi deal will DEFENITELY be signed, it is just a matter of time... It could be Q2 or Q3...
3. The company will probably raise some additional capital before the end of September, but this will normally not cause any dilution of shareholder value.
This extra capital is needed for the expansion of the company and also to allocate biomass for the next 2 years. So this extra capital will only be used for future investments.
4. Up to now, the company was very quiet towards the media, and this because of the competitors. Also, because a lot of time is needed to convince potential customers to migrate to Dynamotive BioOil as their source of energy.
5. But from now on, they will change this, since they have done all the groundwork and are ready to take the market by storm ! This means : more coverage = more publicity = more potential investors = higher shareprice, especially in a red hot sector like BioOil !
6. In Guelph, there will be build another 3 extra plants, of which the first additional one will be started this year !
7. Dynamotive is working together with strategic partners with a lot of expertise and a proven track record. In this way, it is much easier and quicker to win deals with big customers.
8. How many plants does Dynamotive currently have ?
- North America : 4
- South America : 2
- Europe : 2
- China : 1
- Australia : 2
9. It looks like Dynamotive has already secured enough customers for their BioOil which will be produced by the Guelph plants. So that is very good news !
10. The reason why this plant was build in Guelph (Ontario), has nothing to do with Aloca, but the location was chosen because of logistic reasons : close to MegaCity, close to the port, close to the farming belt and close to the Toronto airport !
11. A lot of projects are planned for the coming months and years, all over the world ! BioOil is 'hot" now and Dynamotive is nearly the only company addressing the industrial BioOil industry (25 % of the total BioOil market) !
12. West Lorne : Cost was 15 Mill US $. Sales/year : 5.9 Mill US$. Operational Expenses / year : 2.3 Mill. US$. Profit / year (after tax) : 3.6 Mill. US$.
13. Guelph : Cost was 16.5 Mill US $. Sales/year : 8 Mill US$. Operational Expenses / year : 4.5 Mill. US$. Profit / year (after tax) : 3.5 Mill. US$ for the first plant.
The operational expenses for the second plant will be 20 % less (manning costs), so then we have a yearly operational cost of 3.6 Mill US$, which means a yearly profit of 4.4 Mill. US$.

Did you go to Brussels?
;D LOL, no not me, I got that info from a guy that lives in that area and follows the company closely. He posts on the RB forums from time to time, he was at the presentation.
Ok. I saw that post on Raging Bull and wanted to make sure. I had some follow-up questions on that site, as well (I am "retired_by_31").
I seriously question point 3, re no more dilution. How will the company finance its ambitious expansion plans?
