LS - I request some hand holding. I require over-annotation. Your list is a weekly view of 60 stocks with no annotations and no description about the purpose of the list. Please enlighten us!
I see you have voted once a day for your list as you have five votes in five days ;) ;)
On another note, in the Contest 4th Edition thread, you mention a stock that has a "right hand bull" formation, and you say that's a term you recently coined. What is a right hand bull? It sounds like something a young single guy does once a day. ROFLMAO! >:D

OMG! Hahaha, thanks for the laugh, Lucas! You made my night! ;D
But does it have to be a young, single guy and only once a day? ??? ;)
hey Bas - it would definitely vary based on the individual. Who knows, could be a married middle-aged guy 3 times a day LOL! :D :D
I've been withholding information. ;D I've been bad >:D

Why do i need to annotate? The list is for me. If, you want to ask a question about one. Ask.
NERX is to be a late bloomer. Main reason for the pick is that 3 years ago it went ape nutso ballistic. Moving from .85 to 4.17 in one week. Nearly a 5 bagger. NERX is a tough call on if it will happen within the confines of the contest. It might be a week or two late. But, if i'm to win the contest. I want to win it in style. NERX has that potential. Seems to be bullish market in communications (telecom), medical and metals. Neo-rx fits in those profiles. NERX is beautiful. Daily chart is bullish. Weekly chart is bullish. Monthly chart currently bearish. Monthly not yet completed.
For those who require over-annotation, I present this chart of NERX: http://tinyurl.com/l9xn3. It's bullish and a break of the top line of the flag on volume puts me in.
QuoteIf, you want to ask a question about one. Ask.

My chart for NERX http://tinyurl.com/nvq3h Which doesn't look so great on weekly chart. Daily looks good with bulilsh engulfing and bottom pinch. But, the Close was equal to previous days open. So, not so good. My current positions are in GPXM (.041), BLTI (9.04), AIS (1.78).. Wanted in on GIGM but was cashless. Closed AEMD .74 friday. After .60 purchase held from .60 down to .33 and up to .98. Then sold firday at .74. Not the greastest of executions but a near 25% gain nonetheless. May have more left in the tank.
I am peculiarly and particularly attracted to AMRN.

I liked a few of the stocks on your list. SATC looks real nice on the weekly. On the daily it's a 3 white soldiers so likely we'll see a consolidation which would provide a better entry. I wish your list had a daily chart to accompany the weekly because charts that look nice on a weekly are often short-term overbought when viewed as a daily (i.e. SATC).
What do you think of PPHM chart? One more touch of the 50dma before running to $3?

What does your Liquid Crystal ball (LCB) say about CYAN and ASTM? Buy, hold, or sell?
Would love to see PPHM pullback to 1.32 over the next 2 weeks.
MEM close above 1.48
CYAN close above .78 runs to 1.00
ASTM looking for a consolidation between 2.00 and 2.25. Buy first sign of continued bullishness.

This is quite possibly the best list of stocks i've ever compiled. Please use these charts. There is sooooo much free money on them. All you have to do is bend over and pick up that loose change. My philosophy is; If, you see a penny on the ground, bend over, pick it up and put it in your pocket. Then i say to myself; If, only there were a million of them at my feet. I'd be getting paid 30 cents per minute or 18 dollars per hour. God, i pray they were they dimes. This picking up of loose change is a lucrative business. You now have the obligation of, "See a dime, bend over and pick it up." And, yes Lucas. I can already hear your gapping remarks. In combination with bending over. That won't work this time. This is a deep and powerful message. Not massage. If, anyone doesn't get this philo. They shouldn't be playing with stock.

LS - $18 an hour isn't that much. And think of the back pain you'd have after a day of bending down 30 times per minute. That's 1800 times per hour, and 14400 times in a workday. I'd have to go on disability after a few weeks of that.
hey LS - the links to your public list don't work. I get the message "Your login has expired due to inactivity. Please login again." But I know where to find the Langston list. The rest of your fans might not. Those who only know you as LS.
I wish you'd switch from weekly to daily with your charts! A long term setting that I created that to me replaces the weekly is a daily line chart for the last 2 years. For example here is PPHM:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=PPHM&p=D&yr=2&mn=0&dy=0&id=p73704303620
What do you think of this setting?
I scanned for some penny stocks this weekend. Some really good ones where the volume has flowed in but the price has not run away yet: BHWF, HYFS, QEE, SMRA. To a lesser extent I like EEGC and VTYC.
Have a look at UPDA. Do you think it might be fixin' to run again like it did in mid-January? Volume last Tuesday was an all-time high.
you guys get a room :D
I have my eyes on a few things. I'm pretty much all cash right now. Sold BLTI for a total loss of .50. Sol my GPXM for a tidy gain. I like the weekly charts, Dan. They tend to tell the truth and usually don't let shit sneak away. I'll put the most recent iteration of greed back up and provide a link. You all tell me which ones you think will be rockets and then i'll give to you the ones i have pegged with likely entry points.

PMED debacle??? you just don't have enough patience, and you played it bad from the start. so i wouldn't expect you to like trading that one anyways. PMED will be fine but what does PMED have to do with otcmovers? otcmovers hosts over 100 plays in the liquidity list and none of them have a buy or sell recommendation. It also has a scanner and is not a pump site. It's a site for people who can make up their own mind, not place blame. Trying to link the two in a negative way is only due to your bad trading performance in the stock, they really have nothing to do with one another. It's only ONE play. STTK was on the liquidity list from .25 - i didn't play it and plenty of others that run, thats just showing you why i use the site for tracking. Sorry you have a grudge from pmed ;/

ALTI pretty much mirrored the market as a whole. Compare the below charts of ALTI and the S&P. Both moved higher at the open and then fell hard and based near their low for most of the day. Both made midday attempts to bounce back (ALTI moreso than $SPX, hence the bigger hump), and then finished the day back at their lows. Now give me my 10 applauds!!!!!!!
I gave to you 1 applaud. I appreicate the effort. But, am looking for why 4.19 is significant to ALTI. Any other takers?

The G-Pattern?
A Dow theorists states that given any stock price that acheives a new high. Where the new high beats the old high by one penny is bullish. Until such time that a new low is conceived, between two top peaks, that exceeds the previous low by one penny. In which, instance the stocks action is bearish. But, what you see here is the acceleration of that process.

But, it has a beautiful weekly chart. However, unfortunately you'll need to wait either for a surge back to weekly highs this Thursday. Or wait untill next week and if it gaps up over this weeks close on the open. It should be safe to buy. But, it all depends on how it recovers from that bearish daily chart caused by todays
LS action.
Today's candle don't look so bad. Retraced about 60% of the marubozu on about 60% of the prior day's volume. I could see a nice pennant forming out of this. I think the cheap ethanol plays like GSHF are going to see serious action in the coming months. It's going to be crazy stupid. The bird flu players know the bird flu is played out. They need something new to hype while they're waiting for the next killer disease (fish flu?). While they're waiting for that, ethanol plays could easily fill the space.
hey LS - I posted this on another thread. Wanted to make sure and get your take on it. I need to know, can I have my cake and eat it too?
I found this link in a thread at 3SoF a while back and bookmarked it. It's "20 Rules to Stop Losing Money" in trading.
http://www.hardrightedge.com/wheel/hrerules2001.htm
One of the rules is...
14. Don't join a group -
Trading is not a team sport. Avoid stock boards, chatrooms and financial TV. You want the truth, not blind support from others with your point of view.
Which is of course very applicable to all of us here. I've got mixed feelings on that rule. Groups like 3SoF make trading more interesting and introduce you to stocks you might miss if you were running solo. On the other hand you are also at greater of groupthink and chasing stocks that have already run up. I'd say groups elevate emotions which can lead to bad decisions.
One real life example for me is ONEV. Two days before 3SoF bought it I had received a PM from a subscriber asking my thoughts about it. I told him I thought it was done short-term and not a good buy. The next day 3SoF introduced it and bought the next open. So did I, against my previous judgement. I was swayed by the groupthink and by the arguments in favor of buying.
It's a conundrum because I enjoy trading groups. They help keep my interest level in the markets high. I like reading and posting on the boards. But on the other hand I do see evidence in my trading records where it has a detrimental effect. One thing that might behoove me is to just read the subject lines of messages. Get the ticker, plug in into Stockcharts, and make a decision. Don't open the message and thereby receive input that can affect my decision making. This would be hard to do because I like reading the messages. Can't I have my cake and eat it too??

I'll respond to the prior when i have some more time.
Quasi - your observations have merit. I have seen this group's effect on some penny stocks, such as NIHK and ONEV, where it seems members may have helped create a false breakout that went nowhere. It can be a big game of musical chairs in some cases.
Pursuant to my previous thread, today I refrained from reading most posts. There was only one thread I looked at other than this. I'm going to mostly just read subject lines, grab the ticker from there and do my own analysis. I don't want too much noise cluttering my thought process. The one thread I will avoid like it was bird flu is the G-TA thread, because when people post there it is usually for G's input on stocks that are up a huge percentage either that day or in the last few days. The daytrade momo game is a hard one to win at IMO. That's not my bag. Works for some, but most lose their asses playing that game.
Stick - I know you're looking to buy a bottom. How about MCZ? It's forming a rounded W-bottom. Volume Tuesday was about 4x but the price didn't budge. That could be good, could be bad. Should we knock on the Door and buy? Maybe our lucky Number will be Five. As in 5-bagger.

Quick look at the i minute chart for yesterday seems to indicate a large cross early afternoon of about 1.25 M shares, thats why no price movement. Now some body wants alota shares and some one else is willing to give em up ?? Or is some executive exercising options ??
Either way makes for an interesting print on the chart, sometimes I think the MM's just move some stock around to create some interest. Time will tell.

Paid a 1.74 for CRAY today near the close. Nice bullish engulfing today. The rule was if it closed a penny above last weeks close it was a buy. It did that. I must also admit that i bot HEC at .90 but chickened out because of the big seller at .90. So, i was in at .90 and out at .89 in 15 minutes. I just don't trust oil being this high and last i looked we had a bearish harami hammer on the $WTIC. Even though a new high had been reached and the lows week/week were matching. It just didn't feel right and somebody with a shit ton of shares was sitting on the ask with over 300k shares up for sell. Then again there was a big buyer at .88 that wasn't as noticeable because the bids were at .89. But, for all the buying at .90 the ask stayed at 300k shares. I didn't want to stick it out. So, i went with what appears to be bullishness in CRAY.
LS
hey LS - aren't you going to submit a pick for the contest 5th edition? Deadline is before the market open tomorrow. I know you missed big with NERX but you gotta have that jump shooter mentality. You gotta keep shooting the rock.
LS - btw I bought HEC at .89. The close was the highest in over 2 years. I also saw that big seller, but there are so often smokescreens on Level 2. Who knows what that joker was up to. Maybe he was also the big buyer at .89 and he had the large sell at .90 to scare away other buyers. He gets more shares at .89 that way and if he has to sell a few at .90 so be it, that can be a good profit if he's playing with a big wad.
HEC has hit resistance today at the 52-wk intraday high of .98. I have HEC on a short leash. If it goes gravestone doji on me, it's gone.
LS fka GS - no contest pick? :o
HEC held firm between .93 and .96 for most of the day so I am still holding.
My contest pick TGC is in 1st place! More good news is I bought at the open for my own portfolio. The bad news is I share the pick in the contest with Fous and Healey and they both have the tiebreaker advantage.
I'm out of HEC at breakeven. Don't like the bearish engulfing. It gapped up to the .98 resistance point and just could not get through again. So I'll like it in the low .80's maybe.

If, you have a question about any of the vomit i have up. Don't hesitate to ask.
(Li)quid (St)ick,
Oops! I spoiled my day today! I set out to delete old scans results in my SC account. Ended looking at around 3000 charts. This one has some pretty pennies in it. Likely it is a few of the tickers will land in the GTA Bullish Report. Here are the results of cleaning out my trash so to speak.
ile, astm, affi, ammd, ands, artxd, aogs, whrt, aea, aet, acel, adi, abfs, avgn, acls, bgt, gfx, cbd, exc, fcx, kef, ltwv, phchf, plxs, pool, egy, rha, ats, ryqg, aret, plkc, crgo, iflb, mxxr, itkg, gshf, iflb, rep, thor
Realize that some of these are short plays. Also, note that the actions on display are of interest to me! Again, if you have a question about any of the vomit i threw up. Feel free to ask.

2240 charts spit 63. Must be somehting positive going on in th emarket in general. Last week it was 1950 and 24. Some charts are there just so that i can see how they react. I've a new 3 stick line. I coin it the "Sherpa stick." Sherpa's good a guiding the most treacherous mountain terrain, non? Well anyway this link should still work.

AVNX
A close at 1.81 today should cause AVNX to move. Although 1.82 or better with a close at the hod would be awesome. 1.82 leaves a lot of suspense but with a good overall feel but enough to obscure intent from outside players. Close at or above 1.83 should cause morning gap up.

AVNX chart again
Needs to hold 1.90 on todays close. Which is .06 above the low and .04 below the high. A close at 19.3 or better is preferential.
My guess is AVNX gaps to 2.05 monday morning pulls back to 2.04 maybe 2.03 runs to 2.10 and closes at 2.09. Which should set up a gap to 2.10 tuesday morning pull back to 2.09 and then runs to 2.20 and closes at 2.18. At least that what the chart is showing me. Perhaps i am illiterate?

In fact, I'd say it is knuckle dragging. AGT looks very interesting. I don't know if i've ever been so bored with any stock.
AGT is reminscent of ERFW. Though i'd say it probably doesn't hold the same potential. But, a little bit more noise here could send AGT higher. Here is a preliminary chart.
Sold my AVNX at 1.97. Bought AGT at .547 the day before .56 sold at .491 the day after. Bot NEST at .7399 yesterday. I liked the NEST chart last week. Went on vacation to Cheyenne Frontier Days. Forgot about NEST unitl yesterday afternoon. Saw that it broke out and bot it after viewing weekly chart. 1.00 looks like resistance but last was like .94 today. They make those little red light cameras for intersections. I have to believe these will get installed everywhere. They also just completed a financing operation. The manner in which the financing was completed usually leads to a deterioration in sp. But, it looks like the did themselves good. I'll throw up a chart if i deem it responsible to do so.

Managed to hold through the pain of Wednesday. Well, actually i was moving all day so i never really checked it. Let NEST go on Thursday at .92 as it recouped all the previous days loss but on considerably lighter volume. Today was interesting but have no idea what the real meaning is. However, should it gap above like .94 on the open Monday i may re-enter and let it ride up higher. I'll keep an eye on it. Hell not liek there is too much out there performing these days anyway. Still have my eye on AVNX and it looks like it should hit the ascending trendline at or around 1.58. It did cross my mind to enter an order for AVNX for 1.58/1.60 but sat it out til close. At this point, I'm glad i waited.
