chart update:

CBAY is risky but could be ripe for a cheap buy and reversal.  Currently right at the bottom of the channel.

Longer term - downside break of a large falling wedge.  Could be a fake-out, but CBAY could also be going to new lows.  Amazing that the company has lost 95% of its share price from highs 6 months ago!!!

If it reverses, it could well be good for a quick double.

Funny story on this today. Some clown on the Yahoo board posted a fake article stating the company was claiming Ch 11. The company issued a press release today saying the FBI is getting involved. I went and read the post and to me it was obviously a joke but apparently the company didn't see it that way.

Mirrus Systems, a CBay Group company, enters into acquisition agreement with AMSplus

The addition of physician billing services significantly expands
Mirrus' portfolio of revenue cycle management solutions.

Boston, MA – August 15, 2007 — Mirrus Systems Inc., a CBay Group company, announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire AMSplus, Inc. AMSplus is a 200-employee provider of medical billing and practice management services, with offices in six cities across New England.

The acquisition of AMSplus further expands the scale and scope of Mirrus' position into a top tier player within the estimated $27B U.S. market for revenue and clinical cycle management solutions.

"We are very pleased to have made this important acquisition," said Nanda Krish, President and CEO of Mirrus Systems. "AMSplus brings over 25 years of experience and an exceptional reputation for helping physician practices drive down their AR days. This is an excellent complement to existing Mirrus services, and fits well with our focus on helping hospitals accelerate cash."

As a national provider of Patient Financial Services, Mirrus helps health care providers, including health systems, hospitals, and academic physician faculty practice plans strengthen their bottom line. From maximizing cash flow, to resolving payer delays, to managing government reimbursement, Mirrus's unique technologies and processes solve payment problems and generate high ROI.

"The complexity of physician practice reimbursement has created a huge need for the services that AMSplus provides," says Krish. "Managed care plans, government sponsored plans and private health care bureaucracy have made it difficult for small physician practices to keep up. AMSplus' advanced billing platform, dedicated team of billing experts, sophisticated analytics and reporting and hands-on services provide real relief and help physicians run their practices more profitably."

Marc Bolh, President, and founder of AMSplus, will remain active in the business over the next several years and will continue as President, reporting directly to Nanda Krish, President and CEO of Mirrus Systems. Mr. Bolh will also become a member of the Mirrus Executive Management Team.

"Teaming with Mirrus offers great new opportunities for our 500-plus physician practice customers," says Marc Bolh, President of AMSplus, Inc. "Mirrus, and their parent company, CBay Group, share our passion for helping physician practices and hospitals operate with greater efficiency and profitability, plus CBay offers additional services such as medical transcription that can help our clients reduce costs and improve quality. We remain focused on our long-term commitment to our customers and helping them achieve even higher levels of success."

Draak,

I don't want to come across here the wrong way or anything, but not knowing your trading experience I feel it necessary to warn you about this company.

First thing is do not believe the O/S is only 41 million shares..... that is not true.....   This  company has a very dubious history....    court battles, tax problems on properties, the ex President CEO Rodger Pawson seems to be hiding for fear of getting beat to death or worse,  has  stepped down several times, some say -- out right lied, make fraudulent statements, scammed.... --

Don't get me wrong I still believe I will make money in this stock....  but I am looking at it as a scam or pump and dump that can be made to grow in value at least temporarily ....  But unless something major happens ...  I will only play it as a pump and dump....  as you see I will not pump....  but when it happens...  and I am sure it will...  I will be more than happy to sell as many shares as people will buy.....

Just make sure you know about this stock...  and please investigate anything said about the company before putting any more money in it than you can afford to lose...  because most people have lost bad on this stock....

Just trying for a friendly warning to you.
