Fundamentals

This play will be run according to technicals since we have a very strong signal.  Fundamentals seem in order with sales over $11 billion and a mkt cap of only $12 billion and this revenue has been growing strong for years.  The company's website has excellent investor information.

Trade Plan

AES has an extremely solid chart.  A 4-year ascending triangle breakout with a perfect gap fill zone for our target making this a very attractive stock.  Since our primary target is 22(the gap fill) and our stop will most likely be around ~ 17.50 our reward to risk ratio is greater than 3:1.  We'll take that trade any day.  8)

We will buy AES in the morning on 6/1

AES: Smith Barney Cuts to Hold from Buy; Analyst Notes
Thursday , June 15, 2006 07:07 ET
Issuer: AES Corporation (NYSE: AES)
Analyst Firm:  Salomon Smith Barney
Ratings Action: DOWNGRADE
Current Rating: Hold (from Buy)

Analyst Comments: The firm cites emerging markets volatility and share out-performance. While it is difficult to quantify emerging markets risk on AES from a bottoms up approach, they find that historical correlations of AES to emerging markets indices and currency fluctuations paint a sobering near-term picture.
