I actually didn't even buy this stock yet, I just bought at .22. This is on fire!
is there exit strategy or go with the momentum
Volume keeps going and so does the price, you ride it. Just stay posted. You'll get the sell signals here.
Here's another chart.
This stock has brake a descending wedge formation, this volume is HUGE, and now it's testing the 50ema. A breakout should give a lot of space north ;) >:D
Any stories ?

J.B what other penny picks do u have on your radar?
Good pick [applauded]. I am also in.
I'm liking GSHF. Big percentage up today.
Do u have a position in it, or whats a good entry?
I dont have one in it yet, I'm not that sure about an entry point. It would be best to talk to Elite or someone on that.
Forgot to post the chart:

With this volume, and with this price action today, I believe that tomorrow will be another run... But as always, the market have the last word ;)

Important thing about QOIL is that it has small no. of shares and you can imagine what could happen if ppl start loading them by 10ks and 20ks.
Things are going as planed...
I have to investigate a bit more on this one... but its real nice to make 1 bag in one day ;)
congrats to all fellow QOIL holders ! >:D

Take a look at this chart:
Well done JB (applaud) and all the others on this one, I missed the boat, looks like it just trying to touch the 200ema.
Energy sure in play today ABLE, GEOI, FUEL, QOIL etc
Mike
I love this one. ::)
is it still good to enter now at 0.47? ???
all I can say is "wow" -- got in on this Yesterday at $.25 and not regretting my decision!
Intraday 100% :) Seems like you may not now get 0.47. If you can yes off course.
Who know when the pullback will come, it's possible that it could hit 0.60 today, at this rate.
I can't believe this...never tried a "ride" like that before.
+ 107%.......????
Thank you - thank you!
:o
But if you want to initiate position at around 0.47 you need to look for carry over momentum. Those who bought yesterday along J.B are all sitting on +100% and I guess no one will let the profit go if the stock falls below like 80% profit.
I'd say that with a volume and price action like this, this chart needs at least one more candle like this one to be perfect ;)
If it stays strong like now at the end of the session, I'll have to hold it a few more days... ;)
Volume already pushing 9 million, that's incredible with how few shares are outstanding.
:D When JB speaks, I listen!!!!! ;D
What a website,,,,,What stock pickers!!!! 8)
JB is the OB. stock picker of the week!!!! Keep it coming. Daddy needs a new pair of shoes.
Haha, thanks guys. I think I just got lucky. It didn't end the day to hot, but I aint gonna complain about a 60% move. ;D
The 200ema sent QOIL back, and late day profit taking also (hey day traders want to lock it in). However I have a feeling there is more to come from this stock, pretty much everyone who owns is in profit, there is no volume related resistance only pyschological. Support now at 0.40c area so I'll look to enter around that pivot point if it sets up for me.
Mike
Great background work on this "penny"
Looking to join you all if I get an entry under .40
good luck to you all.
Theres the pivot, bounced off the 200ema on the 5minute chart
aussietrader,
if support is holding, entry is still fine @ 0.31 $ ??
Just sold my position on QOIL so I can be with a bit more power on AMEP.
good luck to all !
Sold my position too, stock may rise from here but need funds for CYAD.
Hey JB are you still a holder of this stock? If so any exit point?
my entry was .33 Thanks
I am holding my pos. some selling this am, but the shake should be over soon, then back up. I'd like to hit .60. We'll see :)
Saffey, I held mine also. I hope it pays off. :-\

This stock is not «so down»...
At this level it's up 200% in a few days... ;)
Its only down depending on where you entered ;)
I didn't buy that pivot I previously noted as I have a lot of pennies on my plate. Still watching but todays action I think sets up consolidation period. The averages need to catch up a bit.

Quest Oil's Acadia North Wells 10-22 and 15-34 Hit Viking Gas Reservoir
ARLINGTON, Texas, Aug 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) --
Quest Oil Corporation (OTCBB:QOIL) is pleased to announce the successful drilling of Acadia North Prospect. Wells "10-22" and "15-34" were drilled through casing and into the Arneson Viking Gas pool. On August 8, 2005, using an endless tubing unit, wells "10-22" and "15-34" entered into the Viking zone and encountered commercial quantities of natural gas.
Arneson Well 10-22-25-2-W4M
"The well was open to flow, to a testing unit, on August 9 and flowed immediately at a stabilized rate of 0.3 MMCFPD and a flowing pressure of 900 psi. After flowing for 16 hours under these conditions, it was decided to test the well at higher rates. The well was opened up even more and after 7 hours flowed at a stabilized rate of 5 MMCFPD and a flowing pressure of 855 psi. The well was shut-in on August 10 to record a build up pressure. The bottom hole pressure gauges will be pulled in the middle of the week and it is expected that an AOF for this well will be available within four or five days," said Jim Deck; Production Manager, Transaction Oil and Gas Ventures Inc.
Quest Oil, President and CEO, Cameron King, states, "Well '10-22' establishes a benchmark well for Quest, the test data illustrates a sizeable well capable of producing at rates 10 times our anticipated flow of 0.5 MMCFPD. The Company is now waiting for all data to be retrieved and be interpreted to estimate gas reserve and life of the well."
Quest Oil, Project Advisor, Richard Johnson P.Eng. remarks, "The '10-22' well tested at rates of 5 million cubic feet per day (MMCFPD) at a high back pressure. This is a very strong well and should be held back to 1MMCFPD to 2 MMCFPD for engineering reasons until we fully understand the scope of this well and the zone. At current prices the well economic yield is $270,000 per month at 1MMCFPD and $540,000 when production is increased to 2MMcf/d. Well '10-22' by far is one of the best wells in the area."
Arneson Well 15-34-25-2-W4M
The well penetrated the Viking Sand on August 8 and is currently shut in due to lost equipment in the hole. Testing and data collection was suspended for well "15-34" due to a break in the endless tubing coil. At the time of drilling out of casing, the bottom-hole motor and bit were lost down hole. The Company has called in contractors to fish out the motor and continue with testing upon its removal. Prior to losing the motor, the well produced gas at measured rates exceeding 0.130 MMCFPD. "We did encounter high wellhead pressure measured during the drilling out process, this indicates the reservoir is not drained by production from offsetting wells and still contains significant gas reserves," said Richard Johnson, Project Engineer.
Quest Oil is considering implementing a 3D seismic program to fully understand the extent of the reserve throughout the Acadia valley. Based on the data received by the drill program, the reserve is significantly larger than expected and the Viking sand characteristics show sand thickening in areas. The company is also evaluating the economics of drilling two wells per section to drain the natural gas reserves to take advantage of the high commodity price.

Congrats on the 0.17 - what a great price to be in at.
Just took out the daily high. Volume is real nice. Maybe see 6-7M today. I would like to see it pass that high of .69 from June. Who knows from there?
Setravis, I should have joined the Marines to get some of the discipline you have. It looks like you will have a convergence of the 200MA with the 50MA, very bullish. Congrats.

Quest Oil Discusses the Successful Drilling of Acadia North in Interview Available on AudioStocks.com
Monday August 15, 4:38 pm ET
SAN DIEGO, Aug. 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- AudioStocks.com is pleased to announce that it has posted an interview with Cameron King, Chief Executive Officer of Quest Oil (OTC BB:QOIL.OB - News) on the http://www.AudioStocks.com website. Mr. King discusses Quest Oil's successful drilling of Acadia North Prospect. Mr. King is joined by Quest's Special Project Engineer, Richard Johnson.
Mr. King and Mr. Johnson also provide insight into today's announcement regarding the acquisition of a 100% working interest in the Empress Project.
Hey guys, this stock has been great lately. I that a possible head and shoulders bottom that is shaping up here?
Wondering what anyone thinks on QOIL? Lately they seem to release news on Mondays. Will there be a further drop to buy back or is this the short-term bottom?
Comments?
I bailed with a small gain.
It got creamed today (-19%) and down 40% from last week's high of $0.85. It may fall through the 50 day MA soon. Any comments on a re-entry point? Chart shows the RSI 30 has been a good entry point 2 other times. They have a lot in the works and need some capital.
Here's an excerpt from the 10QSB report:
"We currently have limited capital with which to satisfy our cash requirements.
As of August 18, 2005, we have approximately $100,000 cash on hand remaining. We will require significant additional capital in order to explore for new projects and to begin drilling.
Our expectations are based on certain assumptions concerning the anticipated costs associated with any new projects. These assumptions concern future events and circumstances that our officers believe to be significant to our operations and upon which our working capital requirements will depend. Some assumptions will invariably not materialize and some unanticipated events and circumstances occurring subsequent to the date of this annual report. We will continue to seek to fund our capital requirements over the next 12 months from the additional sale of our securities, however, it is possible that we will be unable to obtain sufficient additional capital through the sale of our securities as needed."
On the move this morning...

Quest Oil: Acadia North 10-22 Gas Well Flow Rates and Empress Well 12-15 Spuds and Sets Surface Casing
Thursday August 25, 6:00 am ET
ARLINGTON, Texas, Aug. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quest Oil Corporation (``Quest'' or the ``Company'')(OTC BB:QOIL.OB - News) is pleased to announce that analysis of the test on its Acadia 10-22-25-2w4m has been completed. The well has a calculated Absolute Open Flow Potential of 58 Million Cubic Feet per Day (MMCFPD). The Company's engineering firm, CHAPMAN Engineering, advised the Company that it has an estimated ``gas-in-the-ground'' value of $17.67 million.
After a review of a number of recent projects in the area, Chapman Engineering has prepared an overview of the numbers based on the latest pricing of gas and determined that at a value of $4.00/Mscf of developed reserves would be a reasonable assumption. These values may be subject to change after the final detailed cash flow analysis has been completed.
Marketable reserves for well 10-22 have been estimated volumetrically as presented below. These reserves are supported by material balance of this Viking pool. Effective drainage area and recovery factors are the main variables in this determination, resulting in a range of volumes for different reserve categories, all of which are governed by Chapman's confidence factors.
Category Volume - Value @ $4.00/Mscf -
MMscf $MM
Proved Developed 1957 $7.83
Proved Plus Probable 3187 $12.75
P+P+P 4418 $17.67
Chapman Engineering stated, ``Well 10-22 is a highly capable well (18 MMscf/d surface AOF), which we anticipate will be produced at about 2.0 MMscf/d with minimal drawdown to maximize recovery.''
Quest also has commenced drilling on the Empress project, well 12-15-24-2w4m. This well is approximately 7 miles south of the Acadia project. This is a deeper well than the Acadia wells and even though the Viking zone is a prospective horizon in this project, the main target is the Detrital and two Mississippian zones that had hydrocarbon in a well 1/2 mile west of the 12-15 drill site. Results of the testing of the offset well are still confidential but are known to be very commercial. Logging and testing of the 12-15 well are expected to in the next few days.

Quest Oil Establishes Petrostar Oil Services Inc. as Operating Subsidiary
Sep 22, 2005 6:00:00 AM
2005 PrimeZone Media Network
HOUSTON, Sept. 22, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quest Oil Corporation (OTCBB:QOIL), is pleased to announce the launch of the Company's oil and gas service division, Petrostar Oil Services, Inc. (Petrostar). Quest Oil Corporation has established a subsidiary Texas corporation, Petrostar Oil Services, Inc.
Quest has completed the purchase of a service rig to initially conduct workover operations on the ninety-five wells on the Hawkeye leases. The service rig will be the property of Petrostar to conduct the operations of the workover for Quest leases and for third party companies. Contracting work with third party companies will establish revenues for Petrostar in addition to performing work on the Company-owned lands. The service rig is capable of pulling to 6,500', which makes this rig versatile to Petrostar, Quest and its customers.
The service rig is on route to Eastland County, Texas, Hawkeye leases with a hired rig crew that will operate the rig as well as perform roustabout work, maintenance of the wells and initiate pumping on the leases. Electric service to the wells has been re-established to start the workover program, to pull the downhole equipment for analysis, repair any equipment and then place the wells back into production.
The initial production is estimated at an average of 8 -- 10 bopd per well with an initial 52 wells to place on line over a 60 day period. After this work is completed, the initial production rate will be 420 bopd. The reserve report states that 308,000 barrels of oil can be recovered from the initial program with a PV10 value of $3.3 million. According to Gleason Engineering, after the remaining wells beyond the 52 wells are placed on line "An additional reserve volume can be equal to or greater than the reserve volumes reported. The added volume would be equal to or greater than 600,000 barrels of oil with a PV10 value equal to or greater than $6.5 million." Additional deeper potential is available, particularly the Barnett Shale; these pay zones will be established after seismic and IP testings are completed over the following months.
According to Company CFO, Mr. Joseph Wallen, "By establishing Petrostar with inclusion of the service rig and staff provides an attractive financial position for Quest, by owning its assets the Company can control costs and lessen workover expenses and wait time for a third party rig. This combination puts Quest in the position to earn a greater return on the leases."

Good luck.

Quest Oil, Inc. Reports Research Firm Upgrades QOIL
Thursday September 29, 9:25 am ET
Independent Research Firm States Potential Return Could Be Huge Based on Current Energy Prices
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2005--Quest Oil, Inc., (OTCBB: QOIL - News) is pleased to announce an independent research firm has upgraded their equity rating on QOIL. This upgrade comes at a time when energy prices are reaching year over year record highs.
The research report cited the following:
Quest Oil Successfully Drills the Acadia North Prospect.
We anticipate that gas from the Acadia project will be hooked up for delivery by the end of October and that in the ensuing six-month period delivery of 450,000 mcf of gas will be possible. Therefore, it's reasonable to assume that moving into 2006 the company will begin to generate revenue, which is always an important positive development for any exploration company.
The company's Acadia North property has by some estimates gas reserves of at least $17 million.
Two oil properties - Hawkeye and Nettie Gardner in Texas - have proven and probable oil reserves of nearly 1 million barrels of oil.
Over the short-term QOIL has the necessary funding to continue with its exploration and development of various properties.

Also, reminder from the Sept 12 PR: Arneson Well 10-22-25-2-W4M
The Company's "10-22" gas well is scheduled to put in to production by mid-October 2005. With data now recovered and verified from testing, Quest has begun the process of permitting, licensing, trenching and receiving county approvals. All companies must follow the time consuming process of obtaining regulatory and administrative approval, before bringing gas wells on stream. Gas well "10-22" will be brought on stream at 2 mmcf/d realizing gross income of $600,000 monthly. Management will increase flow rate to 4 mmcf/d if there are no indications of water or substantial pressure decline in the well.

Quest Oil Begins Gas Production From North Acadia Gas Well `10-22'
Natural Gas Flowing at 2 Million Cubic Feet Per Day Through Altagas Pipeline
Oct 17, 2005 6:00:00 AM
2005 PrimeZone Media Network
HOUSTON, Oct. 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quest Oil Corporation (OTCBB:QOIL), through its wholly owned subsidiary Quest Canada Corporation, announced today the startup of the Company's Acadia North "10-22" natural gas well from the Acadia North Project located in Alberta, Canada.
The Company has commenced production at a rate of 2 million cubic feet of gas per day (mmcfd). Gas is being transported through the recently completed pipeline which connects Acadia "10-22" to Altagas's existing natural gas pipeline infrastructure serving residential, utility and industrial markets throughout Western Canada and the U.S.
Project Advisor and petroleum engineer, Richard Johnson stated, "The 10-22 well is currently producing 2 mmcfd and is being held back during its early production to evaluate its performance. Gas production from the well will continue to be controlled so that the well does not damage itself by producing at an excessive rate. The well produced at a stable rate of 5 mmcfpd at a wellhead pressure of 864 psi during AOF testing. Delivery pressure into the gas gathering line is under 200 psi, so the well is capable of much higher production rates. The calculated sandface Open Flow Potential (AOF) of the well is 58 MMCFPD."
The Acadia Project was first announced in December 2004, is located approximately 160 miles east of the City of Calgary, Alberta. Current production is coming from one well at the 10-22- 25-02 W 4M location. Two additional wells at a "15-34" and "6-23" well locations are expected to come online in November, 2005. By year-end, Acadia production is expected to approach 8 mmcfd from 6 producing natural gas wells.
"The successful development of the Acadia Project is an major milestone in Quest's efforts to commercialize its Acadia Project gas position," said Cameron King Quest Oil's President and CEO "We are now making significant investments to grow this business to help meet the increasing need for new sources of natural gas."

Quest Oil Corporation Announces Nettie Gardner Spud Date
Wednesday February 1, 6:00 am ET
Hawkeye Coming on Stream and Quest Pays Back First Payment in Cash
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2006--Quest Oil Corporation (OTCBB:QOIL - News; www.questoil.com) is pleased to announce the approval of their first well location, the QNG-3 on the Nettie Gardner lease (API # 42-307-31138) by the Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC). Quest Oil has retained King Drilling out of Zephyr, Texas, to drill the wells. The total contract is for a five-well back to back program to drill the QNG-3, QNG-4, QNG-5, QNG-6 and QNG-7 locations. The rig will be mobilized out of Blackwell, Texas and is scheduled to spud QNG-3 well February 8th, 2006, and is expected to conclude drilling all five wells within 14 days.
Nettie Gardner Lease
Joe Wallen, Quest Oil Corporation's VP of Operations, said, "This drill program is going to provide definitive information on the capabilities of the target zones and will prove the long-term value of the area. The primary objectives of the program are to develop the field and determine the resource limits to the Pennsylvanian-age Jennings gas sand and Gardner oil sand. The main target is the Jennings gas sand which was productive in the Gardner No.1 well and was encountered in the Gardner No.2 well. The Nettie Gardner development plan is to drill the five infill wells, perforate the Jennings gas zones, clean up the perforations in the existing Gardner No. 1 well, perforate the Jennings sand in the Gardner No.2 well and tie all seven wells into the pipeline approximately one mile from the lease."
Hawkeye -- Midkiff Lease
According to Mr. Joseph Wallen, "We're finally starting to realize increasing production from the fruits of our labor. There was more work on rejuvenating the Hawkeye field then we originally anticipated. The Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC) mandated that all injection and disposal wells must demonstrate mechanical integrity and file H-5 forms. Since the workover program was initiated the fields have produced approximately 1,000 barrels of oil. We've just sold one load (180 barrels) of oil on the Johnson lease, we've got two loads waiting to go on the Tarver 'B' lease and one load waiting to go on the McCall/Midkiff leases. In addition, two rigs are now performing workovers and we are waiting on a third work-over rig to arrive and we are currently on the waiting list for two additional workover rigs. Our goal is to have all five workover rigs running to bring all remaining wells on-line as quickly as possible."
Bill Stinson, Quest Oil's COO, advised that, "we're also on the waiting list for a drilling rig to drill two 4500' test wells to prove up the lower Barnett zone. The two drill locations has been surveyed and approved. Rigs that can drill to that depth are in big demand in this area, particularly considering EOG's Barnett Shale activity in the adjacent Erath County. At this point we can't really give a timeline for drilling the well, everything depends on when the rig becomes available."
In other matters, Quest Oil is pleased to announce that, under the $8 million financing agreements entered into by the company on October 6, 2005, the Company has made the first required principal and interest payments in cash.
Note: King Drilling of Zephyr, TX, has no relation or association to Quest Oil Corporation's President and CEO, Cameron King.

Dutton Associates Announces Investment Opinion: Quest Oil Rating Strong Speculative Buy In Initiating Coverage By Dutton Associates
Friday March 17, 9:15 am ET
EL DORADO HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 2006--Dutton Associates initiates coverage of Quest Oil Corporation (OTCBB:QOIL - News) with a Strong Speculative Buy and a price target of $0.90. The 23-page report by Dutton senior analyst Richard R. Wolfe, CFA is available at www.jmdutton.com as well as from First Call, Bloomberg, Zacks, Reuters, Knobias and other leading financial portals.
Quest Oil Corporation has assembled an attractive portfolio of oil and natural gas assets in Alberta, Canada, and Texas, well balanced between high-potential, higher-risk drilling and low-risk, production-ready properties coming on-line at very little capital cost. Management has extensive industry experience that has been instrumental in the Company's rapidly accelerating pace of development, and we expect continued asset and production growth. We estimate that cash flow turned positive in the first months of 2006, and we expect the Company's fourth-quarter results (for the period ended March 31, 2006) to be near break-even, with solid profitability in subsequent quarters. Our cash-flow projections indicate fast-paced growth through 2006 and 2007. By 2008, the Company should be generating discretionary cash flow well in excess of currently estimated capital expenditures. In particular, we estimate that in 2008 and subsequent years, Quest should have approximately $20 million per year available for reinvestment or for share buybacks. Our valuation of Quest common shares, employing the discounted cash-flow method, indicates a $0.90 share price, 200% higher than recent levels for the shares.

Quest Oil's Bid a Success in Purchase of Acadia Land
Tuesday March 14, 6:00 am ET
3D Seismic Interpretation Complete; Sets Target Drill Locations
HOUSTON, March 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quest Oil Corporation (OTC BB:QOIL.OB - News) is pleased to announce that subsidiary Quest Canada Corp. was successful in acquiring two sections of land and all PNG rights at the Alberta Crown Land sale held on March 08, 2006.
The newly acquired leases are located in the Acadia Valley and are an extension of the Arneson Viking gas pool that was encountered by test wells ``15-34'' and ``10-22''. The sections are approximated one mile northeast of section 34-25-2W4 and directly south of our lands Section No. 11 and No. 12. Quest's successful bid on sections 1-25-2W4 and 2-25-2W4 provide all rights from surface to basement for a five year period and bring the Acadia North land holdings to seven (7) sections totaling 4,480 sq. acres. Quest Oil's President and CEO, Mr. Bill Stinson further stated that, ``The size of the Acadia field is growing nicely from only two sections this time last year to over seven square miles today.''
Mr. Stinson is also please to announce that the interpretation and mapping of the Acadia North 3D seismic shoot was completed just in time to provide detailed information for the recent land sale and proving a valuable resource when projecting values on potential production locations. ``Based on the positive results of the seismic shoot, we have put in motion a four well horizontal drilling program. Dr. Norman Neidell, the consultant that has processed and interpreted the data and has selected four locations based on structural elevation of the Viking sandstone that will maximize production yields. Transaction Oil and Gas Services Ltd., will be operator and will be responsible of permitting and survey.''
Odom Ranch No.1H Well
Quest Oil is pleased to announce that it has agreed to participate in the completion of the Barnett Shale Odom Ranch No.1 H horizontal well in Parker County that commenced drilling on February 5th, 2006 and has reached TD of approximately 9,000 feet. Mr. Stinson stated, ``Based on our examination of the data, Quest Oil Corporation has elected to participate in the completion of the well. The participation in this project, has granted us access to the operational aspects of drilling Barnett Shale horizontal wells which will prove beneficial in our upcoming deep well drill program for Hawkeye/Midkiff leases.''
Nettie Gardner
Due to the continued delays in drill rig availability in the Nettie Gardner, McCullough County area, Mr. Stinson advises, ``That we have decided to put priority on the in-fill drilling program for the Hawkeye -- Midkiff fields; the continued delays in spudding Nettie Gardner has started to encroach on our schedule of events of the other areas. We have already engaged a local drilling company to launch a shallow in-fill drill program on the Hawkeye field and is scheduled to be on site within the week. The five well drill program for Nettie Gardner will be re-scheduled once drill rigs are more readily available and commitments can be met.''
