Patent Licensing to Become Significant Revenue Source for Park City Group
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060425/20060425005158.html?.v=1
---------------------------
From Michael:
Hi G,
Yes I love Park City Group. It has all the ingredients for success.
The company is founded by Randall K. Fields, a very successful entrepreneur. He co-founded Mrs. Fields Cookies and grew the business from $200,000 to more than $100 million in revenues and grew its store base to over 650 stores.
He saw a huge opportunity for software systems to manage perishable food department operations. As all good entrepreneurs he pioneered the development of ActionManager software systems to provide innovative management solutions for Mrs. Fields Cookies.
This was the start of Park City Group. Toady the company has some of the largest retailers and consumer brands on their customer list:
- Home Depot
- Tesco
- Del Monte
- Dodge's Store
To mention a few.
The licensing of the intellectual property to Oracle does not only provide a potential very significant revenue stream for the company (remember the market cap is only around $20 million) but is also recognition from a major player of the uniqueness of PKCY solution. To quote Randall Fields:
QuoteWe believe that there is a very substantial opportunity for licensing parts of our intellectual property. When people think of license agreements, they normally think in terms of licensing software. While that certainly represents one source of revenue for us, what makes this agreement unique is that we have licensed the intellectual property itself. This represents a new and separate source of revenue for us. The licensing of a patent has much broader implications and as such the size of these agreements can be significant
The restructuring of the Balance sheet has reduced the interest cost very significantly and the company has already posted a profit. From the April 28 press release:
QuoteThe Company earned $1.8 million on $4.8 million of revenue in the first six months of this year and this reduction in debt will have a meaningful impact on net income going forward as well. We are a much stronger company as a result..
We will see when PKCY will be on fire but this is highly explosive material so watch out
update:

ELite and Michael:
Just wanted to thankyou both for this little gem. I did a nice day trade on it, just cuz I need that immediate gratification now and then ;) and wow did it make me some money.
Thinking about getting back in either end of the day or in the morn. The fundies just look so good on this one!!
GOOD WORK! Since starting to hang around here back in January my portfolio is is up nearly 30% you are the best!
Rodri
PKCY is about to break out of its trinagle! This can be a huge play.. Projected target could be .50.. I think we will see .20 easy tomorrow. >:D
Here are updated charts:
i have a limit order in for 62000 at .09 and in 20 minutes only 5000 have filled ???
changed the order to .093 and finally got 60000 at a average .0927
Couldnt stand it, got back in at .093 ::)
Another great pick from the 3SOF team.
I have 1 position from $0.074 and have a limit buy waiting for the break of next peak $0.105. If that gets taken out (volume backed of course). Then $0.20 comes right on the radar.
Great work Michael and Elite.

Hi Aussie,
Thanks for the kind words and good luck with your investment. I am also planning to add today. The take off yesterday caught me with surprise. I was skeptical when eliteG said that 0.8 was in play but with the break out yesterday under heavy volume I can easily see the momentum take the stock to 0.2.
Yesterday morning we had a stock with very strong fundamentals and a questionable chart. This morning we have a stock with very strong fundamentals and a very strong chart!
0.2 (and 0.5 for that matter) is certainly supported by the fundamentals of the business.
For those who are interested to know more about the business there are a very nice interview with Randy Fields here: http://ceocfointerviews.com/interviews/ParkCity.htm. It is from July last year but gives a really good view on the strong market fundamentals that are driving the business. I especially like this part:
QuoteOur customers are beginning to talk about us and we have two customers lined up to give presentations at two more tradeshows in the upcoming months. Here is another example, a year ago, when directors were surveyed this idea of addressing the fresh item management problem, it was not in the top twenty list of possible projects, but now it is number eighteen of possible projects that IT directors in the supermarket industry will do. We have gone from nowhere to number eighteen. If I were a betting person, I would bet that with the effort we have underway, next year it will be in the top ten and the following year it will be in the top five. What that means is the job of the market leader is to awaken the sleeping giant, let them know what the problem is and how the problem can be solved and what the economic benefits are.
And this:
QuoteLast year, perishables were 51% of the total sales of the supermarket industry. More than half of all of the business comes from the sale of perishables and there are no comprehensive perishable control systems available, that we are aware of, except ours. As a result, the more that value retailers become a threat, the more that supermarkets are looking to perishables as their future salvation, and that plays right into the need to control what they are doing, and by definition, that strengthens our hand."
51% of all sales of the supermarket industry literally runs up to 100 of billions of dollars and these guys have the only comprehensive software to manage that business ::)
- and by the way I forgot to mention yesterday that Victoria's Secret is one of their clients as well. Now that is real perishable goods :D
another chart view ;) big breakout!

I keep getting sucked into these stocks.
Sold UNCN yesterday for a loss of 5%...of course UNCN is up 70% today.
Bought PKCY yesterday, down 7% today--looks to be heading much lower. I wonder if the volume increase that started this rise was just from this message board?
It's all just gambling anyway I suppose.
I'm in the same boat as you, bought in the day after he recommended it at .093
I'm gonna put in a metal stop at .075 and hope for the best. gl guys.

I think we are in on the initial spike up.. like the discovery spike so consolidation here is nice.. i would just like the volume to continue to come in. I think PKCY still remains largely unknown and as the pr and news items come out we will see appreciation.. The technicals would still look allright if PKCY fell to .07 but of course we would like it to stay above .08. It looks nice here in the pre with a .086 bid.

1. Profile
Park City Group, Inc (PTCY). develops and markets patented computer software that helps its retail customers to increase their sales while reducing their inventory and labor costs: the two largest, controllable expenses in the retail industry. The technology has its genesis in the operations of Mrs. Fields Cookies, co-founded by Randy Fields, CEO of Park City Group, Inc. Industry leading customers such as The Home Depot, Victoria\'s Secret, The Limited, Anheuser Busch Entertainment and Tesco Lotus benefit from our software. For more about Park City Group (OTCBBKCY) visit our website at www.parkcitygroup.com.
2. Technical Analysis
2.1. Long Term Chart
PCTY is trading around the same levels it was when it entered the public market in final 2002, which is a positive sign for a penny stock.
2.2. Medium Term Chart
The stock has been trading between a support level of $0.038 and a resistance level of around $0.105. It hit the resistance level today and as a consequent is falling back down. This may present an attractive buying opportunity, if the fundamentals are supportive.
2.3. Short Term Chart
Technically, an entry in the $0.075 - $0.080 range may be appropriate. Let\'s study a bit of the fundamentals.
3. Fundamental Analysis
3.1. Latest News
• Barrow Street Research Initiates Coverage of Park City Group
I\'ve read the text, it was instructive. The company expects fiscal 2006 (which is less than 2 months from over) to be a profitable year. Management has vast experience and prior success. The analyst that wrote the text received $5,000 from the company to do it.
• Oracle Corporation Signs Licensing Agreement with Park City Group
This business is obviously positive, but the press release shares no details. Management seems to pursuit an increase in shareholder value.
• Market Pulse Announces Corporate Profile on Park City Group, Inc.
Here the CEO says the following: «We have already booked more business in the first half of this fiscal year than we did in all of last fiscal year and we look forward to a strong second half of the fiscal year as well.\'\'»
• Park City Group Substantially Strengthens Balance Sheet
After this conversion the company will have 351 million shares outstanding, so the market cap is 351,000,000*$0.089 = $31.24 M. The press release also says this: «The Company earned $1.8 million on $4.8 million of revenue in the first six months of this year and this reduction in debt will have a meaningful impact on net income going forward as well. We are a much stronger company as a result.."» $1.8 M for the first 6 months may mean $3.6 M or more for the full fiscal 2006. This means the earnings multiple is 8.68.
3.2. Number of Shares Outstanding
There\'s some increase on the share count but for a good reason, to reduce interest expense.
3.3. Working Capital
PKCY certainly needed to strengthen its balance sheet. It still looks weak, with just $1.32 M in assets.
3.4. Revenues
The company had erratic revenue numbers in the past. Revenue growth isn\'t stable. But 2006 is shaping up to be the best year ever for the company. Will it continue from here? Well, the news and outlook is certainly positive.
3.5. Net Income
Perhaps assuming the second half of fiscal 2006 will be as profitable as the first half is a long shot, but the CEO himself says the second half has been «strong». If this estimate is true, PKCY would be currently trading at about 9 times earnings, and software companies trade at 35 times earnings on average.
4. General Overview
If estimates are right PKCY may be trading at a significant discount. But the company has been quite irregular and the balance sheet is still weak. I enjoy the company\'s products and it\'s client base. Also the recent agreement with Oracle is promising (but the company didn\'t disclose details on the deal).
I\'m not running to buy the stock just yet but I\'m interested. I\'ll keep it under close eye and I\'ll update this thread with new information.
5. Disclosure

Well I for one am in for the long term. I actually didn't buy this stock because I thought it would explode to 0.2 (even though I wouldn't mind!). This is a very well managed company with a great product in a huge market with very little competition and they are profitable.
Looking at the chart it still seems bullish but when that is said I think there was a very good question raised here and that is 3SOF's effect on stocks like PKCY.
It obvious for me that we as an investing community have influenced the price of PKCY the last couple of days and this is something that we have to bear in mind when we select stocks like PKCY. Now I don't think this is a bad thing. 3SOF is part of the market and we have more than 6000 members that probably (read certainly) are better informed and better equipped than the average investor to make investments decisions.
I think we again and again have seen stocks that initially have been picked for 3SOF and afterwards have been picked up by the rest of the market. CHID, BRVO, SVA, GIGM, AOB etc. comes to mind (I am sure there are many others!).
We have also seen some of the stocks that 3SOF has picked that has failed miserable. Let me not mention names not because we are shy to admit our mistakes but because if you go back and look at those you would see that we in 9 out of 10 times have sold these shares with a very small loss.
Not because we are particularly smart but because we stick to our trading plan.
Coming back to PKCY. This is not a 3SOF pick (yet) but my personal trading plan for this stock is to let it run except if it touch my stop which is at 0.065.
I'm in too... I manage to catch some PKCY at 0.075
EMA9 is 0.072...i hope it bounces from there :o
OK, here's what I see in PKCY chart:
Today it formed a hammer and hopefully put a bottom in. I see a channel on PKCY chart and today's low was exactly the lower end of the channel. Nothing goes up forever and this stock had to pull back. Wish I waitied but I got in at .094 so I'm down right away (sucks).
I believe that technically this stock will go up and down but if nothing drastically changes in the business model it will be rewarded. The fundamentals are really good but we still talk about OTC, not AMEX or NASDAQ stock.. Well, if you want big gains you have to be ready to be down as well.
Anyway, here's the chart and good luck to all of us that hold. Hope we'll make a pile of money on it :)
Thanks for the chart Onestockmind

my worst trade since march ....-16%...i hope this bounces soon...or i am out.....we need some buyers at 0.070
what a nightmare. Am i wrong or has the volume gone from 4 million to 4k in just 4 days?
Yes the volume is really bad right now, forgot to do my own DD. Too lazy, just following the trend like a duck :(
oh well, hoping for some news or I'll just wait it out, stop loss at 67
im down 25% on this one im gonna hold it if we can beleve the recent news then i think we will be ok there will be more good news. im not happy because i turned a profit in to a loss on this. i chased it the second day :(
I going to hold it as well. not much choice anyway. Pretty annoying though. I do wonder if the jump was the 3sof effect. I have been losing quite often when following recs from here, or at least not making as much as I am used to. I think it is that following mentality which has made me lazy. I am going to go back to using the board as a backup reference for my own picks after this one. I know it wasn't an 'official' pick, but still...
anybody else been to there website? pretty interesting
www.parkcitygroup.com.
I am down alot also... going to try to hold longer..
This company definitely has a great story and looking at their website it makes me feel I'm not holding a looser.
However, companies like this one need to be discovered and get a momentum in order to move up big. Also, small OTC companies run on news and until the next PR I don't think there will be any big movements. I think this is a hold for a big gain type of a company and I'll wait out.
Not easy to see losing money like this but I hope for green days and the chart says big volume on green days.

Well said and the story is getting better for every day!
Park City launched their new software suite, Supply Chain Profit Link ("SCPL") as the next generation in its suite of perishable inventory management solutions at the Food Marketing Institute trade show in Chicago, Illinois and I think the headline says it all:
Overwhelming Response From Major Food Companies at 2006 Food Marketing Institute Trade Show (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060511/20060511005138.html?.v=1)Quote"Our reception from tier-one U.S. and global brands was beyond our highest expectations," said Randall K. Fields, Park City Group's Chairman and CEO. "During the show, we had opportunities to meet with several major brands and retailers and were overwhelmed with their response and immediate interest in the program. As a result, our expectations for the next 12 months and beyond have been raised for the product and we anticipate that Supply Chain Profit Link will be a significant revenue opportunity for Park City Group and our shareholders."
It seems like Park City is finally getting the attention from the retail industry it deserves.
Yesterday was a slow day for Park City and I am aware that many members are sitting on a loss here. Give it time this company is getting more and more attention both from customers and investors! As OneStock said they have a great story to tell and people are starting to listen.....
well that makes me happy. I was bricking it yesterday when the volume disappeared :-[. I know the company looks great, but the volume drop was so extreme. I have never been caught like that before. It looked like no way out, but now a turnaround appears so fast! All I can say is phew :o. I hope it holds up. I averaged down a bit as well so hopefully this is going to turn out okay in the end. nothing like a little adrenalin to get you sharp! I think you they need to add a sweating smiley icon LOL!
Apparently they're also savvy enough not to waste their positive PR by publishing it on an FOMC meeting day! I was hoping that was the case.

Future Outlook
Park City Group recently announced its fiscal 2006 second quarter results. The company reported revenues for the quarter of $1,113,656, an 18% increase compared to $941,062 in the second quarter of the 2005 fiscal year, and a net income loss for the three month period of $354,763 compared to a loss of $1,000,602 in last year's same period.
- Software license revenues were $230,574 for the second quarter, a 63% increase from the
$141,692 for the prior year period.
* ASP revenues increased 145% to $50,250 in the second quarter from $20,550 in the prior year period.
* Consulting and other revenue was $226,521 and $120,231 for the quarters ended December 31, 2005 and 2004, respectively.
Chairman and CEO, Randy Fields commented, "We are extremely pleased with our second quarter results. This performance reflects the continued execution of our strategy to increase revenues on an annual basis while keeping a tight rein on our expenses." Fields added, "We continue to gain traction in all our target areas. Software license revenue continues to grow as existing customers add to their usage. These additional sales also translate into increasing consulting revenues as customers partner with us to leverage our extensive industry experience. Additionally, we are seeing strong interest for ASP services, which contribute to our own efforts to create a more normalized and predictable revenue stream. We still have much to do in that aspect, but with a 145% increase in ASP revenues, we are encouraged."
This is an exciting time for our company," Fields continued. "The market place is looking for solutions to the demand for fresh food while maximizing operational efficiencies. Hardly a week passes without a significant story in the financial press that focuses on the growing importance of fresh food, produce and perishables to the grocery business, and Park City Group is uniquely situated to meet this demand. We have already booked more business in the first half of this fiscal year than we did in all of last fiscal year and we look forward to a strong second half of the fiscal year as well."

Park City Group Posts 2006 Third Quarter Results; Positive Momentum with Operations and Customer Agreements
Monday , May 15, 2006 07:00 ET
PARK CITY, Utah, May 15, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Park City Group, Inc. (OTCBB:PKCY):
-- Year-over-Year Revenues Increase 70%
-- Nine-Month Revenues Increase 126%
-- 9 Month Profit $1.4 Million Vs. $2.2 Million Loss
Park City Group, Inc. (OTCBB:PKCY), a leading provider of software and consulting services for the retail industry, today announced financial results for its 2006 fiscal year third quarter ending March 31, 2006. The company reported revenues for the quarter of $1,369,688, a 70% increase compared to $805,865 in the third quarter of the 2005 fiscal year. The net loss for the period narrowed sharply to $385,791 compared to a loss of $832,982 in last year's same period. The company also had a one time charge to earnings from their refinancing activity of about $103,000.
Chairman and CEO, Randy Fields commented, "We continued to make strong progress in all relevant categories during the quarter. Our results exceeded our own expectations for the quarter as we experienced improvement in software license revenues, maintenance revenues, ASP and consulting revenues during the quarter. Significantly, our gross margin for the quarter was 71% versus 51% for last year's third quarter, which is a testament to our focus on controlling costs and highlights the leverage that is inherent in our business.
Highlights of the Third Quarter include:
-- Software license revenues increased 283%
-- 9 month software license revenues increase 657%
-- ASP revenues increased 68%
-- Consulting revenues increased 122%
-- Total liabilities have been reduced by $4.9 million or 56% since June 30 2005.
-- 9 months profit of $1.4 million vs. a loss of $2.3 million.
For the nine month period ending March 31, 2006, total revenues increased 126% to $6,182,209 from the $2,736,604 for the same period of 2005. Software license revenues increased to $3,434,927 from the $453,615 reported in the prior year. Net income for the nine-month period totaled $1,424,261 compared to a loss of $2,278,203 for the prior year period.
Mr. Fields added, "We continue to put in place the foundation we need to support our growth expectations. As previously reported, a restructuring of our balance sheet during the quarter has dramatically reduced the size of our outstanding debt and the reduced annual interest expense will add significantly to net income. Although we reported a small net loss for the quarter of $385,791, it should be noted that a significant portion of that loss was attributable to one time expenses related to the restructuring of the balance sheet. Looking beyond these one time expenses, we have announced several agreements and licensing deals with major customers. Our recent presentation at the 2006 Food Marketing Institute Trade Show was a great success and we expect to see some customer agreements arise out of that event. We are on track to have a great year and our market momentum should carry us into an excellent FY 07 as well."
looks great Oliver ;).. the key for PKCY today is just to finish up.. traders/investors will read that report tonight and see they have a penny that is about to run away.. and then we will see the volume >:D

We should clarify that filing Oliver, the smaller transactions (both for 34,722) are part of the CEO's compensation package and the larger transaction ( 66,234,658) was the debt conversion deal. announced end of April. That deal is good for PKCY, but it does increase the shares outstanding from 285M to 351M.

Disappointing that Park City couldn't rally after they closed the deal with Circle K. This is a substantial order and should guarantee that this quarter will be profitable.
As the company has said several times the result of the company will fluctuate from quarter to quarter depending on the SW sales in each quarters. PKCY has however altered their business model so more and more revenue is recurring so this order should have significant bottom line effect.
Based on the reception of Supply Chain Profit Link we will hopefully continue to see new orders being signed.
I still feel good about the chart and even better about the fundamentals so I will continue to hold this great company.

Hi Oliver,
Smart move from the insiders! After all they already have a good feeling of the result of this quarter so they have a bit of an advantage ::)
My feeling after the recent orders is that we will have a profitable quarter so I am buying at this level. We are suffering from a lack of interest and this is a good time to pick up shares. You need a little patience to get your order filled though.
I am confident that the stock will run when they release Q2 and maybe earlier if they announce any further deals.
yes...chart is ready for news... ;D maybe tomorrow
Where is the resistance or the bottom of this hot stock??
Park City Group Completes $4.8 Million Private Placement; Company Enhances Working Capital as CEO Sees Rapid Industry Growth
Thursday , June 15, 2006 16:15 ET
PARK CITY, Utah, Jun 15, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Park City Group, Inc. (OTCBB: PKCY) today announced it raised $4.3 million through the private placement of common stock with accredited investors. The first release of $1.425 million occurred on June 3, 2006. On June 14, 2006, the company received the balance of $2.938 million. The Company issued 87,272,742 common shares at $.055 per share raising approximately $4.8 million before deducting commissions and other expenses. The net proceeds from the private placement will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes. Taglich Brothers acted as the Company's placement agent.
Randall Fields, Park City Group chairman and chief executive officer, said, "This financing provides us with a significantly stronger balance sheet that will assist us in the continued execution of our business plan. We are very pleased that Taglich Brothers introduced our company to the high quality, long-term investors who participated in this deal, and we look forward to our association with their fine organization."
Fields continued, "Our markets are projected to grow substantially in the coming years as supermarkets, grocers, convenience stores and other retail customers grapple with the imperative to more profitably manage perishables and labor costs. As retailers recognize the solutions Park City Group offers, it is critical that we have the working capital strength necessary to grow with our client's demands for service. The added funds will help us greatly expand our development activities, our marketing and our services activities and the action represents a strong step towards what we ultimately hope to be a listing on a national stock exchange."

Hi, I Will probably be ignored as usual because Iam not rated . But I have come to this site for over one year and I usually just watch the results of the picks. Iam 25 and I have followed the market all thru college and highschool. Ive done my intership at IBM, and now I work for the Best beer Company in the whole world. Anyways, PKCY is def a gold mine. Finding a penny that has a balance sheet like nmkt and park city is hard. I have learned one thing from just observing these boards over the last year, not to count out world events. One thing i liked is that when the market buckled pkcy barely felt it, I have been buying as much as I can from 7.0 on down. Look at the charts. It established footing at 6.0 now 7.0 is it. This company had major contracts which should of moved it back to atleast 12.0 which it already showed us it could hit, but then the entire market took a hit. Iam new to the market thats why I didnt invest for the last year until now, I did alot of moch investments with some of the picks here to get a feel for it. Finding a penny with these financials is hard. I hope iam not blasted too much cuz Iam a noob. But ya I definitely like pkcy , its not in debt up to its eyes, and it is making solid moves. One thing I noticed from observing alot of picks from just the charts in the last 24 months, the charts tend to be off when the companies are in debt up to there eyes. Anyways, I think we will be okay. I wish us all luck. since nmkt and pkcy are the first stocks i ever bought, and i have almost reached my 25k target in pkcy under 7.0. Now iam pumping my income into nmkt while it lingers in the low 30s. Hoping for a double or trip this year, and since its an election year maybe we will all get lucky. Definite thanks to the 3 stocks team, this is a great site.
Why would people ignore you? Everyone is a newbie at some point in time, anyway that doesn't matter if you have something interesting to contribute then people will read.
I second Aussi
David thanks for your time to post... would like to hear more of your thoughts on NMKT over on that thread... it is one of my larger positions, averaged in at .49 and plan on holding at least until we break .60 again and am hoping for .80-1.00 or more, seems like it compares favorably with IIP which i was a bagholder of for 6 months or more last year at .55 and look at it this year ;D thoughts there?
NMKT seems to have all the fundis of a "solid company" just chose to issue many shares so they are a "penny stock" Now you have me looking at PKCY and i like what i am seeing, will be watching this one, perhaps a small position on Monday, but in this market it seem like it may test .055 again (or less, i notice that when a private placement of new shares is made the equity often retracts to that price and lower for some time, but in the long run it should be good for the PPS since those investors are usually BIG money and that Is what we want to follow... correct??)
Keep up the research and i hope that you find time to share it with us! Cheers Joe
PS for store cookies he did OK with that business!! MR/MRS fields ;)
Park City Group Board of Directors Approve 1:50 Reverse Stock Split
Monday July 10, 9:54 am ET
PARK CITY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 2006--Park City Group, Inc. (OTCBB: PKCY - News) today announced that on July 7, 2006, its Board of Directors approved and authorized a 1-for-50 reverse split of its outstanding common stock subject to shareholder approval.
Park City Group's officers and directors hold approximately 50.8% of the votes available to vote with respect to the reverse split; therefore the Company has obtained a written consent of stockholders to approve these actions in lieu of a meeting of stockholders. Accordingly, Park City Group has prepared and filed a preliminary information statement on Form 14 (c) with the Securities Exchange Commission on July 7, 2006. Park City Group will file the Definitive Information Statement on Form 14(c) on or after July 7, 2006, and upon filing will be mailed to Park City Group stockholders. This Definitive Information Statement will be deemed ratified and effective 20 days after it has been furnished to Park City Group stockholders.
As a result of the reverse stock split, the number of shares of the Company's current outstanding common stock will be reduced from 446.5 million shares to approximately 9 million shares of outstanding common stock.
Speaking about today's announcement Randall C. Fields, CEO of Park City Group said, "It has always been our intention to provide the sort of capital structure that will best help us deliver shareholder value. The actions we have recently taken; a restructuring of the company's debt; a $5 million capital raise and today's announcement, indicate our continued efforts to put in place the foundation from which we hope to that value to our stockholders. We believe the reverse split will help make our shares more appealing to institutional investors and represents an important step toward a key goal of Park City Group, namely, the listing of our shares on one of the major stock exchanges."

Hi Weazle,
It is a long time since we last talked about Parkcity and a lot has happen since.
Most notably the company has done a 1:50 reverse split and changed ticker to PCYG.OB. The management seems to dress the company up for a listing on a major exchange:
QuoteWe believe the reverse split will help make our shares more appealing to institutional investors and represents an important step toward a key goal of Park City Group, namely, the listing of our shares on one of the major stock exchanges."
But more importantly the management has reviewed the result for fiscal year 2007: http://www.parkcitygroup.com/PR/2006/0728_2006_pr.htm
PARK CITY, UTAH – July 28, 2006 – Park City Group, Inc. (OTCBB: PCYG) today offered guidance on its fiscal year 2006 which ended June 30, 2006, as well as a brief update on a number of Company initiatives. The Company expects to report strong growth in both revenue and net income, and significant improvement over fiscal year 2005 results.
QuoteRandall Fields, chairman and chief executive said, "We finished the year very profitably and continue to gain traction in all our key markets. We signed several agreements with existing customers for additional services and licensing contracts, and we expect to see much of the revenue contribution from these contracts over the course of fiscal year 2007. These additional agreements from existing customers are a strong validation of our technology and services, and we continue to aggressively target and market our solutions to top-tier names among convenience stores, suppliers, and supermarkets. We expect to introduce a number of new products over the next year as well, and we hope to see revenue contribution from these new products in fiscal 2008."
I tried to add to my position yesterday but I have to say that the volume and spread makes it almost impossible to buy the stock (and might also make it difficult to get out again ::)). You really have to be patient and ready to hold the stock for a long term.
Park City is probably not a stock for the majority of 3SOF members but I feel very good about the stock. We will have volume again so it might be worth for the momentum traders to keep it on the watch list.
Howdie all
Michael can you change the header for this to PCYG
Do you still like it... Over the past week it fell and filled the gap at 2.50 formed back on april 26 of this year... that 2.50 appears to be strong support would you agree? (even on a 2 year chart)
Volume has been creeping up this week still nothing to interest short term traders but i am thinking about adding to my position at these prices. Seems like it has strong fundementals, MACD and RSI are starting to turn up (macd d not yet on the weekly chart)
ILL BE WATCHING, curious if you are in it yet?
cheers Joe
It definately looks like one to put on the radar...applaud for the heads up.

Hi Joe,
Welcome to the new PCYG thread (AKA PKCY thread ;))
Yes I still like Parkcity and yes I am the proud owner of shares in the company ;D
I guess we are all waiting for the full year result for 2006 to be released and even though the preannouncement was encouraging we need to see some actual figures for the stock to take off.
I am quite bullish on the full year result. The change of the business model from once off sales to recurring revenue is a great shift long term. Unfortunately it makes it difficult to forecasts the full year result. The steady flow of new contracts should however make the company profitable in the last quarter and as the company had a 1.1 million loss in fiscal q4 last year it is going to make a major difference in the EPS and PE for this year.
The full year should be released soon and I am quite happy to hold over earnings.
I am not sure how strong the support at 2.5 is. At this point this is more a fundamental pick than a technical even though the chart looks good here.
Park City reported earnings yesterday and they were to say it bluntly disappointing and certainly didn't live up to my expectations:
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/061115/20061115005243.html?.v=1
I probably don't have to point out the weaknesses in the report as they are all over the place. I am however very concerned to see that ASP and maintenance revenue were down having in mind the changes they have introduced in their business model.
Based on Mr. Randall's comments there might still be some hope for next quarter. It seems like they are working on a number of new deals but they need to show us some results fast or the stock might go much lower.
I have a stop at the support at 2.25 and if this is broken I am going to sell my shares. I also have to admit that I might sell into strength if they announce new deals.
I still believe the company has a very good chance to make it long term but after holding the stock since May my patience is running out :-\
Any clue what happened today? :o

Exploding again today.
PCYG today is just breaking out!
This is a two years old flag formation breaking-out just at this moment!
Good luck to all!
