Bottom appears to be behind us.
Looks like a good trade back to 7. :o
IMHO
Buying LTXX at 6.25, good accumulation and appears ready to breakout
Looking good, Just may make that $7.
Another nice day.
Ready to run north again.
50-day has crossed over the 200-day MA....Let's rock!
I like this as well and keep nibbling at it as it drops a little.
What's your assessment now? If it drops below the $5.64 mark set on 8/10 would that be a sell indicator? Is there a +/- some change rule?
TIA, Jody.
My advice is that DON'T BUY stocks in SEMI SECTOR now.
It is in correction now and the SOX index may test 440 - previous high.
The duration of the correction may last 1-2 month (high is at August 2).
Wait for a while and will see year end rally.
This thing looks good again. Huge descending trough ending with a huge hammer on a big volume spike. Starting to trend up again with volume returning. Positive MACD with recent double bottom in RSI... this thing is looking bullish and is about as oversold as it can get. Check out this chart and tell me what ya think! I'm putting it on my small list of stocks to watch w/ VIAC and IPIX and GLNC.

WESTWOOD, Mass., Nov 17, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- LTX Corporation (LTXX, Trade), a leading provider of semiconductor test solutions, today announced financial results for its first quarter ended October 31, 2005. The results were at the high-end with the Company's guidance provided on August 25, 2005.
Sales for the quarter were $44,951,000, up 15% from prior quarter sales of $38,928,000. Net loss for the quarter was $(8,383,000), or $(0.14) per share on a GAAP basis, which included restructuring and other charges totaling $4,227,000, or $(0.07) per share, compared to a net loss for the 2005 fourth fiscal quarter of $(6,214,000), or $(0.10) per share on a GAAP basis. You don't think it has any more room left to run?
Sorry, I didn't look at the chart that carefully. If LTXX had broken through 200 dma today I'd say that $5.50 would come quickly. I still think $5.50 could come by x-mas but there should be some will probably be some consolidation next week before a "run" shows up again. If you want to wait 20-25% is a good possibility :D. I'll try to get the updated chart posted tonight but I can't promise anything.
I was looking at a 2 year chart, and from that, Looks Like a....

Double Bottom (Reversal)
The double bottom is a major reversal pattern that forms after an extended downtrend. As its name implies, the pattern is made up of two consecutive troughs that are roughly equal, with a moderate peak in between.
Although there can be variations, the classic double bottom usually marks an intermediate or long-term change in trend. Many potential double bottoms can form along the way down, but until key resistance is broken, a reversal cannot be confirmed.
It is important to remember that the double bottom is an intermediate to long-term reversal pattern that will not form in a few days. Even though formation in a few weeks is possible, it is preferable to have at least 4 weeks between lows. Bottoms usually take longer than tops to form and patience can often be a virtue. Give the pattern time to develop and look for the proper clues. The advance off of the first trough should be 10-20%. The second trough should form a low within 3% of the previous low and volume on the ensuing advance should increase. Volume indicators such as Chaikin Money Flow, OBV and Accumulation/Distribution can be used to look for signs of buying pressure. Just as with the double top, it is paramount to wait for the resistance breakout. The formation is not complete until the previous reaction high is taken out.

LTX Shares Soar to New 52-Week High on Strong Fourth-Quarter Outlook, Analyst Upgrade
NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of semiconductor testing equipment maker LTX Corp. soared in Wednesday's trading after the company reported a third-quarter profit that handily beat Wall Street expectations, and the company projected fourth-quarter results would come in ahead of estimates.
LTX shares, which have traded between $3.20 and $6.74 over the last year, rose $1.03, or 18 percent, to $6.84 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. Earlier in the session shares set a new year-high of $7.10 in more than four-times the average daily trading volume.
On Tuesday the company said it earned 13 cents per share, while analysts polled by Thomson Financial expected the company to earn, on average, 9 cents per share. The company topped off the good news with fourth-quarter earnings projections for 22 cents to 24 cents per share, well above analysts' expectations for 11 cents per share.
Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. analyst David Duley upgraded the stock to "Buy" from "Neutral" and lifted his 2006 earnings estimate to 30 cents per share from 10 cents per share. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial expect the company to earn, on average, 14 cents per share for the year.
"We are upgrading our rating on LTX to Buy from Neutral due to the company's strong third-quarter results, the higher than expected guidance for fourth quarter, and the expected continued product growth throughout 2006. In addition, we believe the company's largest customer, Texas Instruments, has predominantly completed its product transition to LTX's lower-cost EX platform," Duley wrote in a note.
The Fusion EX platform is one of LTX's semiconductor testing systems.

Thanks for the heads up, setravis. I've been watching this one, too. I'm a bit wary going long anything right now, but the daily chart looks good, and I'd liked yesterday's successful re-test of support.
LTXX currently is BID 6.09...ASK 6.10

LTX Shares Rise After Analyst Upgrades, Predicting Increased Orders From Texas Instruments
NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of semiconductor testing equipment maker LTX Corp. rose sharply Friday after an analyst upgraded the stock and said the company may receive increased orders from chip maker Texas Instruments Inc.
Stifel Nicolaus analyst Patrick Ho upgraded the stock to "Buy" from "Hold," and set a new price target of $9 on the stock.
"While no firm orders have been received from its largest customer, Texas Instruments, we believe the situation has improved at TI, which could lead to a pickup in orders in mid-2007," Ho wrote in a note to investors.
He also believes the test equipment industry has reached bottom, and that the stock has limited potential downside.
Shares of LTX, which have traded between $4.39 and $8 over the last 52 weeks, climbed 42 cents, or 6.8 percent, to $6.53 on the Nasdaq Stock Market in afternoon trading.
Way oversold from the dip of the Market.......
Say thanks to the shorts or whoever manipulated the share price down to the low 3 dollar range...
To good of a company to keep the share price down that low.
