Title: AOOR.OB
Post by: JMoney on June 07, 2005, 05:17:35 PM
After I sold off CYOS today, I bought some AOOR. It looks to be a decent play.

I have actually just started trading about 2-3 weeks ago. I'm just in a learning stage and would not have found these stocks if it wasn't for the knowledgable people here.

I get some of my picks from: www.pinksheets.com (http://www.pinksheets.com)
Please note that the quotes on there are from the previous day.

Also try, www.smallcapcenter.com (http://www.smallcapcenter.com)

The best way I think is to search google for "penny stocks" or something like that. Good Luck.

to me this is not the ideal place to buy this stock...

The 200 ema provides resistance here and AOOR is extended from its breakout.

The one saving grace is the enormous volume, which will put this on many traders screens.  Pure momentum could keep this going, just use caution.

Best of luck  8)

Elite is spot on with his caution, the power to stop a rising stock is very strong in the 200sma and 200ema (sounds like a Star Wars quote). If you are a newbie and not used 200ema or 200sma on charts before plug it and look at a few stocks you will soon see how it comes into play in predicting movement. A correct entry would be if it cleared that resistance as then it would become support.

I always try to find something that the chart is adhering to.  In this case I find the 5ema(this stock is blazin if its stickin to that) or I would set a stop @ the previous days low.  You can also go with combos and do half lot sales  ;)

Keep them coming J.B. you got a good eye.

Title: Bellwether Report: QOIL, AOOR, XNWK & HLLF
Post by: J.Livermore on June 15, 2005, 10:57:17 PM
Guys,

Check out this report:

*****************************

BWR Alerts for Shareholders of QOIL, AOOR, XNWK and HLLF NOTE TO EDITORS: The Following Is an Investment Opinion Being Issued by The Bellwether Report.

TORONTO, Jun 15, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- The Bellwether Report is the
leading online financial newsletter, focusing on small-cap emerging growth
opportunities. We strive to introduce investors to truly undervalued
opportunities in a time-friendly fashion, allowing for optimal entry points and
profitable exit points. Today, BWR will be evaluating the morning's four most
promising companies on the small-cap exchanges: Quest Oil (OTC BB: QOIL), Apollo
Resources Intl. (OTC BB: AOOR), Xten Networks Inc (OTC BB: XNWK) and Halal
Mortgages (OTC: HLLF). For more information on BWR or any of the above-mentioned
companies, feel free to visit www.bellwetherreport.com for a free,
no-obligation, 30-day trial of our service.

Quest Oil has made a move on the OTCBB exchange this morning, trading up 43%.
This momentum comes as a result of Quest Oil announcing yesterday that one of
their two wells has been surveyed and a surface lease has been negotiated. The
company also announced that a drilling license for the well is expected to be
issued this week. BWR plans to monitor this small-cap company, as we feel that
this potential gem could prove to be successful as a long-term investment.

Apollo Resources Intl. took a leap this morning, trading up nearly 25%, tripling
their average volume. BWR believes that this company holds some of the
characteristics that we look for when deeming a company undervalued; however, we
do feel that the company must materialize on some sort of corporate development
in order to justify their current value.

Xten Networks Inc. announced today that Yahoo.com, the major Internet search
engine, has licensed Xten's eyeBeam software development kit (SDK) to deliver
SIP-based PC-to-PC VoIP in their new Yahoo Messenger Beta. This proved to be
successful news for the company, as shares rose 31% today. BWR believes that
today's news could be what Xten needs to reach news highs and will continue our
due-diligence on them.

Halal Financial Services, a BWR hidden gem, announced this morning that they
have been recognized and identified by HSBC Amanah U.K., a global resource of
the HSBC Group, as the way forward in distributing their current and future
financial products. BWR has been researching and profiling HLLF since their
inception as a public entity and believes that the company holds many of the
characteristics of an undervalued company.

Any information that we find on the above-mentioned companies will be posted at
www.bellwetherreport.com

hi Pete,

Question about stocks must be placed on the «Stock Talking» board. You should only start a new topic on «Stock Picking» or «Penny Stock Picking», if you are recommending it, and if there is no other topic about that ticker. ;)

But just take a look at this post, where our members are talking about AOOR.OB:

I've been riding this one from $1.00.  I believe that the old high of $2.25 stands a good chance of being broken.  All the indicators I use are still strong.   Obviously there has to be a point where consolidation will take place, but I feel that won't happen until we hit the $2.25 mark, then it is anyone's guess where it will go.

Hey guys, I just saw this post and I want to tell a story: I was seeing this chart but ignored it because I received a phone call from Switzerland (could you believe it?) from something like a boiler room or something, telling me to buy these AOOR.OB shares. This is a pure scam, be careful dudes.

But indeed it was an awesome pick anyway for who profited from the rise, congrats !

If this company/stock is a scam can you please explain why the CEO  bought millions of shares all the way up to $1.99 on the open market.  I reviewed the Form 5's filed with the SEC.   I have no opinion either way, but can you explain why you believe this company  is a scam?   The CEO moved over from Blue Wireless (BWDI) recently and has a pretty credible existence with both companies.

Thanks.

Check out BWDI too.  Dennis McLaughlin who is now the CEO of AOOR was the President at BWDI.  He now sits on the Board and remains active while building Apollo (fuel is his expertise).  I was pleased by today's activity.  I have no idea what's going on there but I am holding on to both.   BWDI will probably release 300 million shares (subject to shareholder approval mid-July) to use for acquisitions.  While that means dilution, it could mean more revenue via these acquisitions.

I think biodiesel momentum is coming up hot, and these guys are
highly involved. The August 8th issue of Newsweek profiles biofuels,
with a title "The Next Petroleum".

I'm in like Flynn at .42 (ran to .51 on Friday). I think it has legs for this week.

Enjoy:
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/8769619/site/newsweek/

In 2005:
Began building a major biodiesel plant last month
Signed $3M financing (not sure if terms are favorable, I'm not an
expert in such matters)

From 2004:

Apollo Resources International, Inc., formerly Powerball
International, Inc., has expanded its business focus to include the
production of oil and natural gas, intrastate pipeline systems for
the transportation of oil and natural gas and the creation of its
alternative fuels segment, which represents the maturation of the
company's initial business venture, the development of hydrogen
production. Apollo began its expanded business focus in oil and
natural gas production through the acquisition of BC&D Oil & Gas
Corp. BC&D is a small exploration and production company with 151
wells located in the Four Corners area of New Mexico. Engineering
reports confirm the company has over 1.5 million barrels of oil in
recoverable reserves associated with the BC&D fields. The company is
focused on optimizing the oil production, as well as on development
of approximately 10 billion cubic feet of natural gas reserves. In
2005, Apollo embarked on its initial entrance into international oil
and natural gas production with the acquisition of JSC
Kaliningradneft (Kaliningrad), a Russian oil production company.
Kaliningrad produces approximately 21,000 barrels of oil per month
from eight wells. Kaliningrad is one of three oil exploration and
production companies operating in the far-western Russian province
of Kaliningrad. Oil reserves for Kaliningrad have been certified by
the government at 4.32 million barrels. The company has a 50%
interest in a joint venture, Decarb Energy Technologies, LLC. Decarb
is developing a low-cost, high efficiency propane fuel substitute
that involves hydrogen-fuel technologies. In addition, in 2005 the
company acquired an interest in Earth Biofuels, Inc., a producer,
blender and distributor of biodiesel fuels. Biodiesel is derived
from vegetable oils. It is readily mixed with fossil-fuel-based
diesel. According to Apollo, vehicles that use biodiesel produce
less air pollution with no major mechanical alterations to the
engines running on the biodiesel fuel. In February 2005, the company
acquired a 100% member interest in OGC Pipeline, LLC, an Oklahoma
limited liability company. With this acquisition, Apollo acquired
approximately 1,800 miles of pipeline segments in Oklahoma. These
lines can service the Woodford Shale and Coal-Seam Gas play in south-
central Oklahoma and Osage County, OK, in the northeast, among other
areas. The company plans to utilize the pipeline assets to gather
natural gas, develop gas production in adjoining areas along the
pipelines and to develop other opportunities.

The thing that puzzles me is why the CEO is buying stock like crazy, every market day from May 19-June 20, at higher and higher prices.  Was he running the price up?  His lack of buying on the 21st appears to have caused the price to plummet with no one to continue the upward push.

Based on TA, the stock does look ready to rock and roll again but I am suspicious based on the CEO's previous behavior.  Is AOOR a buy anyway or should the above behavior raise a red flag (instead of a large empty candle)?

Excellent question re: was he running up the stock?  I asked the same myself.  But then I thought, you'd have to be out of your mind to risk all that money to play, eh?  If it's a game, there's a missing piece.  Anyway, check out BWDI.OB tomorrow.   He's been buying up Blue Wireless (his other company) during May and June and it just hit the wires tonight.  Could be good for a ride tomorrow.

ay yai yai...this stuff gives me a headache.

Best to all!

Title: Why is the AOOR CEO loading up like crazy??
Post by: ggrewal on August 18, 2005, 12:12:24 AM
AOOR's CEO has been bying like crazy this year (millions of dollars?)
              http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=AOOR.OB
Stock went up to $2 and now trading @ $.50..
CEO seems to have a pretty good back ground -
              http://casweb.ou.edu/home/news/spotlight/spotlight_dmclaughlin.htm

Can anyone help me understand this? Looks like this stock can take off anytime once they have the bio-diesel refinery news out(its expected to be operational in Oct this year)??

Any help would be appreciated., I am thinking of making a big time investment here

From what I know their refinery is slated to start producing from October this year, Also with tax rebates they can sell the bio-diesel for $1.60, With the diesel prices currently hovering around $3 I think truckers will start using this bio-diesel thing, Atleast its a positive sign, What do u guys say?

Though I know Dave called this a scam in one of his postings, But I wil go ahead and make the biggest investment I have done so far in my trading career ;)(in the range of 4-5K)
I am buying AOOR Tuesday , Here is my reasoning:
AOOR's CEO has been bying like crazy this year (millions of dollars?)
              http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=AOOR.OB

CEO seems to have a pretty good back ground -
              http://casweb.ou.edu/home/news/spotlight/spotlight_dmclaughlin.htm

I have seen this stock bump up like 2 times every year, Now it has been forming a base for about 3 months.. The bio-diesel refinery which they are making in OK is slated to be up and running in Oct 2005.

CEO does not need to play with his own money to run up the stock, There are lots of other things which a CEO can do to run it up.

And yea they seem serious about this bio-diesel thing (They upped their stake from 50 to 80 % recently)

Lets see how this goes

Do you own DD  :)

Hi wax...

I also got interested in this stock because of the Insider plays.  I just didn't buy it right away, I
waited for price action to confirm that there's a lot of buying interest aside from me; could have
gotten it below $0.50 on Thursday.

The stock tried to rally twice after the big fall in June, and twice it drifted down again for several
weeks.  It's the history of this stock that worried me and I don't want to be in the situation where
I, sort of, am just hanging in there.

My exit plan was already in place when I entered, I just followed it.

Believe me when I tell you this: I was one of those who prayed hard for the stock to continue
rising, glued on the screen for several hours hoping for it to rally.  But when I realized that selling
pressure was more than buying, I had to let it go.

I'll still be following this closely.  If it breaks $0.63 next week then I'm in again.  Really it sounds
very stupid: in $0.55, out $0.56 and then in again $0.63, but that's the way I'm playing it.

Insider plays are great!  Who could forget SPEA.

Wishing you all the luck.

some facts at first:

AOOR.:..... 80 Mio shares á 0,44 = 35,2 Mio$  MKT

AOOR owns 88% of their "daughter" MDWS.

MDWS.:.....23 Mio shares á 4,40 = 101,2 Mio$ MKT

88% from MDWS = 89 Mio$  = 2,5 * MKT  AOOR  ???????????????????

and:  AOOR owns a second company in Kaliningrad/ Russia. It´s an Oil Company .

Any thoughts to this constellation???

(the person who took this article in said he has found it in an US-Traderboard. Don´t know if he spokes the rumor by himself or from which board this informatin is coming to him. Have a look what he wrote:

Gefunden in einem US Board

rumor on the street that AOOR going to pay a stock dividend in MDWS shares to existing AOOR shareholders at 6-1 ratio. Let's see what was MDWS trading at today $4.40 ? No wonder why Dennis has been buying all those shares. Can anyone confirm they have heard this rumor ?

Oscar Winner Morgan Freeman Appointed to Board Of Directors for Earth Biofuels, Inc.
Award Winning Actor Among Three Newly Appointed Board Members For Biodiesel Company

DALLAS, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Meadows Springs, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MDWS, dba Earth Biofuels, Inc. today announced changes to its Board of Directors and the appointment of new executive officers. In addition to the two newly appointed members, Mr. Dennis McLaughlin, current Chairman and CEO of Apollo Resources International (OTCBB: AOOR - News), and Mr. Tommy Johnson, CEO of Earth Biofuels, Inc., the Board appointed 3 new members: popular actor Mr. Morgan Freeman, Mr. Bill Luckett, and Mr. Bruce Blackwell. Additionally, Mr. Johnson was elected CEO of the Company. Meadow Springs CEO Tommy Johnson stated, 'As we move Earth Biofuels to the next stage of development as a public entity, we are extremely pleased to add such highly-respected individuals to our Board of Directors. They will provide an excellent guiding force as we execute our business plan. We are particularly excited to work with Morgan Freeman, a committed environmental and technology enthusiast, as we pursue a number of strategic directives in what is now one of the most promising in energy alternatives, the emerging biodiesel fuel industry.'

Mr. Freeman said, 'I am pleased to accept the invitation to serve on the Earth Biofuels Board of Directors. I firmly believe that alternative fuel supplies need to be developed to allow the United States to wean itself off of its significant dependence on foreign oil. Moreover, I feel that our development of alternative sources such as biodiesel fuel will help the environment, farmers, and the economy in general. I look forward to participating in the growth of this company as well as the alternative fuels industry.'

Morgan Freeman has grown into one of the most respected figures in modern US cinema. Mr. Freeman attended Los Angeles Community College before serving several years in the US Air Force as a radar installation technician between 1955 and 1959. Mr. Freeman has appeared in TV shows and feature films since 1971, and has won myriad accolades for his performances. Among his most notable works are Driving Miss Daisy (1989), Glory (1989), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), Amistad (1997), Along Came a Spider (2001), and Million Dollar Baby (2004), for which he won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Freeman's on-screen performances are universally regarded as world-class. In addition to his film work, Mr. Freeman has been cast to narrate or host dozens of first-rate television specials covering topics from the American Civil War, the American Film Institute, blues music, the White House, and many commemorative events involving the US film industry. In addition to his work on screen, Mr. Freeman is a multi-engine instrument airplane pilot, avid sailor and co-owns the renowned restaurant Madidi, with Bill Luckett, located in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Also with Mr. Luckett, he owns the Ground Zero Blues Club, a restaurant/live music venue located on Blues Alley next to the Delta Blues Museum.

Mr. Luckett stated, 'I am pleased to be joining Dennis, Tommy, Bruce and Morgan in serving on the Board of Earth Biofuels. I grew up in the Mississippi Delta where soybean production is a dominant feature in our agricultural economic base. I hope and trust that our farmers will ultimately benefit from our use of soybeans and the production of biodiesel fuel. I look forward to helping America increase its fuel options since biodiesel is a cleaner burning fuel than petroleum diesel. We will help reduce pollution and thus improve our air and water quality.'

William O. 'Bill' Luckett, Jr. practices law with Luckett Tyner Law Firm, P.A. in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and Rossie, Luckett & Ridder, P.C. in Memphis, Tennessee. He serves on the Executive Council of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Hospitality & Restaurant Association, the North Mississippi Advisory Board for the Union Planters/Regions Bank, the Clarksdale Beautification Committee, the Clarksdale-Coahoma County Planning Commission and the Clarksdale-Coahoma County Airport Board. He holds a Lifetime Membership in the NAACP and serves as the Lifetime Membership Chairman of the Coahoma County branch. Mr. Luckett graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1970, and graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School in 1973. He has served in the US military and as a commissioned officer in the Mississippi National Guard. Mr. Luckett is co-owner with actor Morgan Freeman of Madidi and Ground Zero Blues Club as mentioned above.

Bruce Blackwell attended college at the University of Southern Mississippi before receiving his doctorate of Oriental Medicine. In 1989, he was installed as the President of Blackwell Chevrolet, Blackwell Dodge, and Blackwell Imports, a family owned automobile dealership and one of the largest in the south, located in Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Blackwell held the position of president for the family business until December 2003, when the Blackwell family sold its position in the dealerships. An avid supporter of alternative energy, co-founding Earth Biofuels was Mr. Blackwell's first commercial foray into the alternative energy industry. He sponsors extensive research into other sources, including methanol production and geothermal energy applications, as well as development of biodiesel plant building and applications of its use in industry.

Meadows Springs now operates under the dba Earth Biofuels, Inc., and is in the process of making appropriate filings to make the name change permanent. Earth Biofuels produces biodiesel fuel for sale and distribution through the company's network of wholesale and retail outlets. The Company is focused on capitalizing on the growing demand for alternative and renewable fuels in the domestic market. The Company will issue an announcement once the ticker symbol has been changed. The website is currently found at www.apolloresources.com/ebi/.

Great findings small_investor!! I bought 6K of them today
Did you see the recent acquisitions which they have been
making this year: MDWS (they own 80% of the outstanding shares now)
, Earth Bio Feuls etc , They look darn serious about this stuff
Also I dont see much downside from here.. i mean its been forming a base around this range 0.42 - 0.44 for months now, So the risk to reward ratio looks good to me
This stock was @ > $15 in Jan 2001 when crude was not this expensive (I know I know the split they had.. but still)

So I am ready to bet on this one and hold for as long as it takes for 5 bags

Here is the reply I got from AOOR rep. regarding my refinery query

The refinery is scheduled to be complete in the Q4 of 2005.  Due to the hurricanes the construction has been delayed 3-4 weeks.  We still plan to have it complete in this quarter.

Got this mail from my canadian friend today.
As i used to be long in AOOR, it was interesting reading.Today I sold all.

Maybe this piece will help you make  your decision. All this was written 2mo after Durant fac.had to be functioning. In my eyes this bunch of crooks from AOOR has no whatsoever credibility anymore.Don't believe, they will make anything click any time.

     Mr. Patterson,
Thank you for your interest in our company, and your support of the biodiesel industry as a whole. I visited with Doug Jones, and he passed along your concerns. I will attempt to address this for you.

Before starting, please understand that I am legally restricted to disclosing certain specific information. We have no desire to withhold information from stockholders or the general public.

The project in Durant has been delayed due to some unforeseen obstacles, primarily the hurricane that destroyed the Mississippi gulf coast. This has created not just destruction, but a complete focus on recovering and rebuilding the area. The bottom line is that fabrication will not take place in Mississippi for some time.

As a result, we have had to shift our gameplan to alternatives. These include either constructing a plant from another location, or buying an existing plant and have it moved to Durant. Both opportunities exist, and management has been evaluating the effectiveness of either plan. A decision will be made shortly, and there is an expectation that the project could be completed within 6 weeks of engagement.

As for the facility, the demolition is complete, and the construction of the buildings and offices is complete. There is some road work and rail work to be done, but neither will hamper the ability to make fuel once the plant is complete. These are enhancements to the facility.

Again, thanks for your interest. As with any project, a projection is made based on both ideal and less than ideal conditions. To say that conditions became less than ideal is an understatment, and we have learned much as a result. Nonetheless, this plant will be completed and biodiesel will be made available to the Oklahoma market shortly.

Wake up people!

I think AOOR is ready to make a move.

It is in a hot industry--- biofuel.

it has its own products and they are making progress.

the weekly chart looks beatiful!

So i have pick up so Stocks when it will go down a little i buy more
Beaucse EBOF is at ca 4,2 and AOOR 0,86
AOOR owns 68% in EBOF

So AOOR must stand at 2,8 Dollar  only from the 68% own in EBOF but they had other comapany section were at the moment this is free from all stock holders.

Normaly with the other companie Sections the Stock must stand at 3,50 Dollar

Have been playing AOOR.OB for almost a year. After transferring assets of bio-fuel business to EBOF, the AOOR ownership in EBOF has been gradually decreasing, same time much dilution occuring in AOOR.

I am very cautious about AOOR.Seems to me this ticker( at least)  will not live long.
My take is EBOF will be totally independent soon and AOOR will be written off.

So far continue to play with extreme cautiousness.Good luck.

At this point chart is ok.

MarketCap of EBOF.OB              872,48M
MarketCap of AOOR.OB               94,4M
AOOR owns 66,49 % of EBOF

all data produced by Yahoo.

It makes 1 AOOR share worth of $5,65 based solely on this one line in assets.
What is Mr.Market missing :-\

Ownership in EBOF has decreased from initial 80% to 66,49%

A old neews but here is the true value of AOOR

from briefing.com: 15:18
AOOR Apollo Resources ? An undiscovered play on bulletin board runner Earth Bio. (0.56 +0.06)

We believe that it\\'s gone almost unnoticed (and it was unnoticed by us until today) that AOOR, an integrated natural gas and biodiesel company with a market cap of about $54.4 mln, owns the majority of Earth Biofuels (EBOF) of BioWillie fame, a stock that has more than doubled since we first wrote it up on March 15, and now has a market cap of more than $400 mln, based on about 180 mln shares out. We found the information in AOOR\\'s most recent 10k, and called the companies to confirm the information. Executives just got back to us and confirmed with us over the phone that AOOR owns the majority of EBOF. The ownership works out to be roughly 70% of EBOF. BriefingTrader Note: Assuming no value for AOOR itself, 70% ownership of EBOF at its current stock price would imply a current value for AOOR\\'s stake of around $280 mln, or more than 5x AOOR\\'s current cap.

"Assuming no value for AOOR itself"! AOOR kann man jedoch Assets im Wert von ca. 100 Mio. $ zurechnen. Malt euch aus, wo der faire Wert der Aktie liegt.

Apollo Resources Int is going to start attracting attention.
I like this company, has solid management, and a solid business plan. There web site covers it well, the url is:
http://www.apolloresources.com/

But as an investor, the most important thing to observe about this company is the stock price. Since the new year, the price has moved violently on ever increasing volume. I believe that will be true for at least a year or more. It presents a lot of opportunity, over and over again, but I watch it like a hawk... ;)  "Hawkeye"  ;)

it does look like the stock is undervalued considering it's majority holding in Earth Bio Fuels, which in itself is valued by the market at around $400 mil. as you mentioned.

But being the chartist that I consider myself to be  8)  ::)  8)  let me make a quick TA analysis:

Below you'll find the 3 month daily chart...as well as the longer term 1 year daily chart. clearly...

a.) $1.14 (recent high) is real resistance (besides the $1.05...which will not pose as strong a resistance as the other number)...but I do not expect that to last long either...should be taken out as early as this week...

b.) good news is...for the first time since that massive run up from $0.18 to over $2.00 around11 months back...this stoch has finally held ground and closed above $1.00...the past few weeks...even though it has shadows going up to $1.14, it never once closed above the "psychological" dollar figure...and today, it did...on very encouraging volume!!

c.) the RSI has is approaching 70 and I expect that to be taken out...again, as early as this week....primarily because the other 2 indicators that I favor the most...are looking pretty as well.

d.) the stochastics...bullish crossover of the two percentages (%K over %D)

e.) MACD...very nice rebounce off of the "0" level

f.) from the longer term chart....cross of $1.14 should only take this higher...and faster...something that I like !!  >:D  ::)  >:D

so those who r waiting on the sidelines...best time to jump in this is at break of $1.14....for those who r already in like myself (at $0.95)...sit back and relax!!!

good luck folks!

thanks Travis...you do a fine job as well bringing stocks to our attention...applauds to you for that...

tell me something...you are the "long-term" kind of investor aren't you...unlike many of us here that trade more often?? how does that strategy work for you....i mean, how exactly do you pick a stock and what is your "exit strategy"...do you have a sell price in mind when you buy the stock...or do you just hold on it for several months no matter what?

it always interested me how ppl strategize their "sell" more than their buy.  ;)

Question of the week

What will happen if and when 52 week of high is broken??

Answer

The stock should reach fair market value (considering it's majority stake in a $400 mil. valued Earth Biofuels company)

this is unbelievable...check out this chart of EBOF.OB (earth bio fuels) 70% of which is owned by AOOR...the chart is a blockbuster  :o , plain and simple...not some pump and dump...but a persistent high runner...lot of fuel (guess I should say "ethanol"  ;D)

with the 180 mil. float that EBOF has (according to yahoo, that is), it's market cap comes to be a whooping $1.05 BILLION dollars !!  :o  :o

guess what's the current market cap of AOOR - $120 million !!

enough said...i'm holding big time.  >:D

1.14 break today or tomorrow?
Title: Re: AOOR.OB

excellent close today...right at the high of day, $1.12...very strong volume of 3.5 mil +

unless tomorrow is a breather day, this should in all likelihood take out $1.14.

ARCA had been keeping a lid on it all day today, looks like they were bulking up on shares for the run...anyways, we'll see tomorrow...here's a chart. it shows there is still ample room to run, RSI is still to touch 70 (almost there), stochastics are yet to surface at the overbought level (although if it goes there, it can ususally stay there for a while as the stock contnues to run higher in price...same goes with RSI) and the MACD, after yesterday's bounce from "zero" is back up in a strong way.

i think this run will continue big time...not because I'm in. but becuase the chart's indicators are very bullish...and the volume supports the price action.

Best of all, as you mentioned the other day...AOOR's majority-owned subsidiary EBOF had a 20% up day today (unbelievable  :o) and is valued at a mind-boggling $1.21 billion market cap  ...we are just a fraction (1/10 th ) of that number!!!

sold my shares at ave. $1.205 got in at $0.95.

I know this is going higher with the vol. this morning....but will wait on a pullback to catch up with te uptrending line...somewhere in the $1.10 range...

if I cannot catch it...well, will wait till end of day to evaluate.

good luck folks!  ;)

well, well, well...back in at ave. of $1.15

I did not expect it to fill the gap so quickly...and better yet...it touched the ascending trendline (see below in the 15 min. 5 day chart).

all set to resume uptrend IMO....of course, close is very important in a day like today....gotta close above the upper half of the trading range....will indicate continuation of run longer...the higher up the range it closes, the better.

good luck folks.  ;)

not a great close...could have been better....i'm still holding in anticipation of continuation of move up (daily wiggles aside) after the all-important break of $1.14 today

would have been nice to see it close in the green, but oh well! i'm still alive!

My take about AOOR has not been changed:

Have been playing AOOR.OB for almost a year. After transferring assets of bio-fuel business to EBOF, the AOOR ownership in EBOF has been gradually decreasing, same time much dilution occuring in AOOR.

I am very cautious about AOOR.Seems to me this ticker( at least)  will not live long.
My take is EBOF will be totally independent soon and AOOR will be written off.

So far continue to play with extreme cautiousness.Good luck.

Why is AOOR hughely underpriced compared to "daughter"  EBOF ?

gambling co.probably will go under 90c before next leg up.how long?

AOOR was trying to sell-off, but the volume was light and watching L2 showed me there were no sellers willing to sell at these levels...

looking at the daily chart, no doubt the indicators have turned a bit to the south...bu it's of my opinion, after looking at the 1 year weekly chart that the run is still far from over...the indicators on the weekly chart are as bullish as can be....RSI, stochastics and MACD are going up after a some consolidation in early-mid April.

For what it's worth...during serious runs, there will be pockets of consolidation and pullback.

It's very important to understand the difference between a "reversal" and a "consolidation/pullback". so far, even on the daily chart, I have no indication of a reversal, just that of a breather after breaking out of the $1.14 resistance level.

Im placing my bets on taking out $1.23 this week and continuing to go higher and closer to $1.50 by next week's end.

The market will tell me if I'm right or not. I'm up for the challenge....bring it on!  ;)

bought some @0.87 just in case the trend should continue.

this "stock" has seen 100% dilution since it was over 2 bucks last time.EBOF is also at least 2 times overpriced.

travis...just curious...why do you say support at the 50 EMA (i mean, why use the EMA and not the simple MA) ??

also, do you think the ascending trendline you drew could offer support?? it seems like a legitimate support line over the last few months.

thanks!

My bag, It was meant to read the 50-day MA,
and yes I do think that trendline could offer support, hey we just may see this
thing bounce to the upside tomorrow.

Looks to be bouncing off 22-day ema. Nice uptend in motion and most indicators are turning up with the exception of a couple momentum indicators. My guess is that this will form another white candle tomorrow, thus making the MACD turn and make slow-fast line crossover. Any signs of strong open tomorrow should be bought into, IMO. GL

I'm going to go against the grain and say AOOR might test .70 if it doesn't hold .73 this week.  Not sure what's causing the pullback unless its really true that AOOR and EBOF follow each other's trading pattern.

I've just waiting for some of my other plays to cash out then I'll be all over this stock becasue me really likey this one!

Good luck to all in this one!

i've gotta come to the library just to type this message....my damn roadrunner is down beacuse of severe weather in western ohio.

1.) this thing is now mighty close to testing 50 MA

2.) the whole damn energy sector is getting a whacking and so are the alternative energy plays...heck, the whole market is in poor shape.

3.) when the energy sector turns back up, this will follow suit again. the correction in oil is likely a temporary one, it's going back up and this time, and this time, the target is $80/barrel.

technically, this thing has bottomed out from stochastics and MACD....if you look at what happened the last time RSI was this low, or lower, the stochastics bottomed out too, but the MACD was actually much higher than the current levels. which, to me, indicates that when the stock goes back up this time, the gains will be larger.

anyways, my 2 cents is all this is. i broke my rule of selling on last thursday when the indicators went down, and now, I wait for the technicals to go back up.

learning from my mistakes.. ;)

Great points Vic, thanks for the response.  How crazy is it that I was so darn close on this one saying if it didn't hold .73 that it would see .70??  Thank you Lady Luck!!

Now that the stock has continued to drop below .70 I'd say that AOOR just might test .60.  Lets see how we do.  Good weekend everyone!

Double Bottom (Reversal)
The double bottom is a major reversal pattern that forms after an extended downtrend. As its name implies, the pattern is made up of two consecutive troughs that are roughly equal, with a moderate peak in between.

Although there can be variations, the classic double bottom usually marks an intermediate or long-term change in trend. Many potential double bottoms can form along the way down, but until key resistance is broken, a reversal cannot be confirmed.

It is important to remember that the double bottom is an intermediate to long-term reversal pattern that will not form in a few days. Even though formation in a few weeks is possible, it is preferable to have at least 4 weeks between lows. Bottoms usually take longer than tops to form and patience can often be a virtue. Give the pattern time to develop and look for the proper clues. The advance off of the first trough should be 10-20%. The second trough should form a low within 3% of the previous low and volume on the ensuing advance should increase. Volume indicators such as Chaikin Money Flow, OBV and Accumulation/Distribution can be used to look for signs of buying pressure. Just as with the double top, it is paramount to wait for the resistance breakout. The formation is not complete until the previous reaction high is taken out.

Any Thoughts on AOOR.ob the parent company of Earth Bio Fuel, I noticed some heavy buying today and yesterday and seems to follow Natural Gas Chart which is on a bounce. Sorry i don't know how to post charts.

I know the CEO has been getting hammered lately from Forbes article and Motley Fools but I would appreciate a technical oppinion , some heavy shorting in last month too. Thanks

Form 8-K for APOLLO RESOURCES INTERNATIONAL INC

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

11-Jan-2007

Other Events

Item 8.01 Other Events
From approximately June of 2006 to September of 2006, Apollo Resources International, Inc. (the "Company"), acquired approximately 35,000 acres of both developed and undeveloped mineral leaseholds within portions of Sutton, Edwards, and Kimball counties in southwestern Texas. The developed leaseholds include 45 existing producing wells that currently produce approximately 466 thousand cubic feet (MCF) of natural gas per day and 25 barrels of oil per day.

In November of 2006, the Company entered into a participation agreement with Patriot Exploration Co., Inc. ("Patriot") to begin a natural gas well infill drilling program in certain developed areas of these mineral leaseholds. To date, the program has resulted in the drilling of seven successful natural gas wells, five of which are being completed. Of the five, initial well tests were completed on January 5, 2007 on two of the wells for completion report purposes. The tests show initial flow rates of 1,000 MCF/day on one of the wells and over 500 MCF per day on the other. These tests do not necessarily reflect future production rates. Further, the participation agreement allows for up to $5 million to be used for drilling operations. Under the terms of the participation agreement, the Company's working interest in these new wells has been assigned to Patriot until payout of outstanding financing amounts contributed by Patriot.

I am still new but see

"Bullish Harami Cross Pattern is a doji preceded by a long black real body. The Bullish Harami Cross Pattern is a major bullish reversal pattern. It is more significant than a regular Bullish Harami Pattern.

Recognition Criteria:

1. Market is characterized by downtrend.
2. Then we see a long black candlestick.
3. Long black candlestick is followed by a doji completely engulfed by the real body of the first day. The shadows (high/low) of the doji may not be necessarily contained within the first black body, though it's preferable if they are.

Explanation:

The Bullish Harami Cross Pattern is a strong signal of disparity about the market's health. During a downtrend, the heavy selling reflected by a long, black real body; is followed by a doji next day. This shows that the market is starting to severe itself from the prior downtrend.

Important Factors:

The Bullish Harami Pattern is not a major reversal pattern, however the Bullish Harami Cross Pattern is a major upside reversal pattern. Short traders will not be wise to ignore the significance of a harami cross just after a long black candlestick. Harami crosses point out to the bottoms.

A third day confirmation of the reversal is recommended (though not required) to judge that the downtrend has reversed. The confirmation may be in the form of a white candlestick, a large gap up or a higher close on the next trading day."

Forming someone please let me know if I am correct, thanks in advance. Have a nice weekend.

Anything is possible.  Looking at the big picture...it doesn't look likely but anything can change with a little bit of news.  I haven't researched this company..only looking from a charting perspective and the only good thing I see on this chart is a possible rebound play back to the middle bollinger band (~$0.14)

...but I would stay away.  Don't try to catch a falling knife.

Good luck...Jody

Thanks appreciate the feedback, I bought some the other day @ .11 cents and will see what happens, I feel like oil stocks are ready to bounce which this is and they own majority of earth biofuel which went up 12 percent on friday, I would think that would have a positive affect.   Hope so. This skeleton is just about DEAD!!
Can anyone shed some light on the tender offer this July 31? They say that they will do a split and immidiate reverse split and buy out anyone with less then 65,000 shares at .035/share

Would it be worth buying some here at .027 or can they change their buy back offer at the last minute?

Cheers Joe
