Just a little warning...this is a very thinly traded stock.

What looked like a huge volume candle yesterday was only 72k shares..so be careful.

Avg. volume, according to Yahoo! is around 15k shares a day.

Thanks Bjc for adding the low float warning, this popped up on my fundamental filter through MSN screener. I noticed the volume has been picking up with over 70k yesterday. The reason recommend this is the fundamentals are saying good value and the chart is picking up some steam. Also note that SIF is very close to HSR and KRSL (its in the same industry) and has around the same float traded like KRSL and HSR before they broke out big time. Someone is investing in this specific industry it seems... first it was HSR, then KRSL, there may be others in this industry that will perform like HSR and KRSL in the future. SIF has the possibility to be a good gainer if the volume kicks in. Watch for volume if it starts trading +100k for a few days I would take a look at this.

EARNINGS: $.57 EPS from continuing operations last quarter  (about $2.3 PER SHARE ANNUALIZED?).
Based on $2.3 Forward EPS, SIF trades at 9 forward PE compared to 25 Sector average.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/co?s=SIF
TINY FLOAT: 48% owned by institutions- 24% by insiders
$5 PER SHARE LIQUID ASSETS: After Trubine divison sale, SIF will have $27 MM net working capital or $5 PER SHARE with no significant debt. That means the market is valuing SIF non cash assets at $13, or about 6 X forward earnings.

In summary, SIF has all the ingredients for  price appreciation!!!!
