Tried to by 20,000 shares at the offer of .0209 ( actually put it in at .021) and they wouldn't give it to me. Now it is asking .0239, what a bunch of crooks.

These guys are investing $13 M in real estate, buying back stocks and have a market cap of just  1.65M, can you believe it?

Believe it because it's true. I bought a few hundreds of thousands of shares around $0.020, I think this stock will go up 300% today (it shot up 142% yesterday).

Lets ride -- got in at .023

How long are you going to hold on to this David?  Do you intend to take some profits if it does indeed go up 300% today?
Title: Re: Penny Pick: EPYH.OB
Post by: David Randolph on June 22, 2005, 10:47:35 AM
I figure that if the stock goes up 300% today it will be at $0.076, where its market cap will be about $5.2 M.

The company has already invested $18 M in real estate and is planning to invest $50 M in 2005, can it be worth only $5.2 M?   (that is the market cap 300% above yesterday's close).

I'm holding this stock a few days, I believe the market hasn't yet realized this company's position in what is, by all means, an hot and safe sector, real estate.

But I urge caution, don't invest too much, just a small portion of your portfolio, of course very high volatility is expected.

Can EPYH make it to 3SF portfolio?

Well, I bought about 300,000 shares but it still is too little to figure on the 3SF portfolio. Perhaps we'll create something for these fast moving penny stocks, just for learning how to capture their gains for small investors.

We're having some ideias about this subject, I'll discuss them further with Ramsburg today.

Good luck stocky !

I think it will close over .04, but there are no guarantee's
It is very easy for a stock like this to take a dive at a moments notice and then rally.

If I were you I'd sit tight and just wait.  :'(

Kiss of death (me) in @.034.

Maybe I can reverse my recent losing streak.

I waited for this entry point for the last few hours instead of jumping into it near .04. Let's see if I learned anything.

I tried jumping in at .02 this morning, but it would keep outbidding, I finally put in a bid of .025 when the current trade was at .023 just so I would get it.

And luckily it filled because it blew past that minutes later.

I am hanging on, hoping for $.06 today.

Momentum is slowing down a little, and there is more selling going on than there was this morning.(probably some day-traders, the bastards  >:D)

I don't think this is going to make 300% today  :(

But, that does not mean it won't rise tomorrow another 80%  8)

I am considering taking my investment off the table today, and keeping the free shares for the next couple days.  I have been burned too many times.  (I invested 5% of my portfolio in this stock today)

Empyrean Holdings Plans $3 Million Lake of the Ozarks Development
Wednesday June 22, 9:35 am ET

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 2005--Empyrean Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:EPYH - News), a national real estate holding company, plans to purchase 300 acres of prime lakeside property near Camdenton, Missouri, in the world-famous Lake of the Ozarks vacation area. The property is a prime candidate for a four-star resort development in one of the most frequented vacation areas in the country.
CEO Robert L. Lee reports, "Located in the fastest-growing region in Missouri, the site spans 3,300 ft. of frontage along The Lake of the Ozarks, which is one of the world's largest man-made lakes. It has convenient access to Highway 5 and is only a two and one-half hour drive from the prosperous cities of Kansas City and St Louis. We intend to create a resort community complete with a comprehensive portfolio of four-star amenities. Though uncertain at this early stage, we may include picnic areas, small town homes, timeshares, and rental properties in the development. We anticipate that Phase 1 of the project should require about a $3 million investment."

Empyrean Holdings is also currently working on furthering its joint venture plans with a national construction company, United Construction Group LLC. Company management has extensive experience in single and multi-family homes, condominiums, commercial developments, and renovations. The joint venture has already embarked on a $10 million project in Wisconsin and a $5 million project in Southern California.

Remember,

Yesterday was up 80%  Most of the time, stocks correct after such a huge jump.
It's probably going back above .03 today.

Don't be impulsive and sell in panic.  Inevitably when you do, the stock goes higher right after you sell.  Sell only when you think your reason for buying was wrong.

I think it's going to reach $.04 again.

Empyrean Holdings Inc. Increases Stock Buy Back Plan to $1 Million
Friday June 24, 9:30 am ET

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 2005--Empyrean Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:EPYH - News), a national real estate holding firm, has announced that it will increase its stock buy back plan to allow a total of $1 million worth of the company's outstanding common shares. The shares will be returned to treasury in an effort to strengthen the company's balance sheet and reduce its overall cost of capital long-term.

CEO Robert L. Lee confirmed, "Despite the recent increase in the share price we believe that Empyrean's stock remains undervalued. Our management team still holds the view that our company stock is an exceptional investment especially in consideration of the projects that we have initiated. We have a significant amount of confidence in our development team, the viability of our corporate structure, and our long-term profit potential. We also firmly believe in hard assets and high income-generating real estate is going to be the primary focus of our future growth."

Empyrean will continue to carry out the purchases over the next several months either on the open market or through private transactions. Depending on market conditions and other factors, these purchases may be suspended or commenced at any time without prior notice.

If they have the money to fund these investments, then this stock is undervalued (which is what the CEO keeps saying)

I would be happy with $.10 a share in the medium term.

I bought higher, so I am underwater -- but they are investing in real estate, and are buying back $1M worth of their shares.

I think $.05 is a good possibility in the short term.

EPYH almost had PR everyday last 2 weeks ! everytime there is investment plan out , it goes up , and it goes down on everything else.
On Jun 6 The company announced it targets for 50 mil by the end of the year, and by the end of this month, they have announced 38 mil already!
why in such a hurry? make me wonder a bit.

I've been holding this since$.028 avg price.  So i was pretty deep underwater for a few days, but today turned it all around.

I had to sell off 1/2 my position at $.034 just because I didn't like being so exposed on one stock (I invested too much % of my overall into this stock) so naturally when I recovered my loss and made a profit I decreased my position.  I still believe this stock is undervalued with all the things they are doing this year.  I think $.10 could still be a viable price.

This stock may be worth hanging on to for a while.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to update this penny stock pick, I got some private messages. I've sold it at $0.025 on a trailing stop loss thing (didn't want to let a profit turn into a loss), but bought it back yesterday, since I believe the story behind the move and the stock started running away with the bulls again.

I'm not willing to update this picks I make in the other boards everyday, so what you can do is check my reasoning for buying (I always have one) and see if it still stands. In this case it did, the stock made a profit taking pullback to previous support around $0.017 and it run up again.

The news flow is very positive indeed and the market cap is much less than the company is investing in real estate.

But do your own DD, I have just a very small stake and don't have much time, good trades for everyone !

So much good news with this stock, if what they are saying is true, then this could be a very good investment.  I can see this stock reaching $.07 to $.10 in the near tearm just based on the news.  Long term you could probably turn this into an investment.
I am not sure why this stock used to trade at $500 a share...  anyone know the history of this company?  I am having a hard time finding anything about them.

what do u guys think...0.045 seemd like strong resistance all afternoon  :-\

IMO, the best part is, we broke free from multi-month resistance at 0.04, and tested 0.05 and a little beyond without much fanfare...lots of volume from 0.04-0.05

technicals show we just touched RSI 70 level...which tells me there is more room to go for this baby...like a quick blast to 0.075 or 0.08

also, I see no real resistance up from this level to the 0.10 area...am I missing something?

the stochastics also seem to support an intact uptrend for now.

Friday , July 01, 2005 09:28 ET

HOUSTON, Jul 01, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --Though only halfway through fiscal 2005, Empyrean Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:EPYH), a national real estate holding company, has already had a phenomenally productive year. Since its initial acquisition of Tradewinds International Corp. a few months ago, Empyrean has established a diverse portfolio of development projects totaling nearly $50 million and has initiated several strategic relationships that is giving the company a significant competitive edge in several markets.

Earlier this year Empyrean initiated an aggressive Business Development Plan focused on developing a portfolio of hard real estate assets whose core characteristic was high anticipated income and 3-year appreciation potential. As a result of its activities, the company has become involved in over $50 million in projects in California, Florida, Wisconsin and Missouri and continues to analyze additional opportunities. Profiles of their projects will appear on Empyrean's website within a few weeks.

CEO Robert L. Lee is delighted, "Our company is doing phenomenally well. So far this year, we have located a corporate office location in Houston, opened satellite offices in Florida and California, and engaged in several strategic relationships with construction, property management, and real estate and mortgage companies. Our relationship with United Construction Group is proving to be an outstanding arrangement as we are getting the ability to participate in a prime selection of UCG's current and upcoming projects as an insider and could not ask for a better opportunity. This gives us the ability to cherry-pick the projects that we feel have the greatest profit potential while not incurring all of the traditional development risk. There is much more to come, we are only half-way through the year and only half-way through the initial stage of our plan. Things are going so well that we are expanding our horizons further and are extremely confident that our shareholders are going to be as excited as we are with what's to come."

The company is buying back stock, and starting multi-million dollar real-estate development projects, so the potential for this stock is great.   I expect that if things go well for them, this could run up to at least $0.10 in the short term, and long term -- who knows, $1 may be a realistic possibility someday.  But for now, I have been trading peaks and valleys and just trying to hang on to shares at this price in case they have another run up.

My humble opinion:

Penny stocks are very dangerous, if a trader is relative newbie. When they start to go down, a newbie is prone to buying more and telling to himself, that their buy is OK, that the stock is not able to fall more. Maybe sometimes, but not now...

Be cautious ....

Good point. What I do is to buy only 1/3 or 1/2 of the regular value that I will buy if NSDAQ or AMEX stocks. Then add on based on my perception and market reaction. Averaging down is not a good strategy, however, you can use it if you have planned it earlier by starting with half or smaller positions. And the exit strategy must accompany all trades :)

Empyrean Holdings, Inc. Commits to $70 Million Orlando Development
Thursday July 7, 9:35 am ET

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 7, 2005--Empyrean Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:EPYH - News), a national real estate holding company announced today that it has committed to a $70 million real estate development in one of the hottest tourist areas in the country - Orlando, Florida. Recently through several key relationships that the company has in the Orlando market with several large property owners, management was able to arrange participation in the pending property purchase and maintain development rights.
The company is currently analyzing the best utilization to maximize profit potential but is confident that the property will be used for timeshare condos due to its favorable location within 1/2 mile of one of the largest theme parks in the area. Management anticipates selling a large amount of the unit participation to the European market specifically due to the very favorable exchange rate for European investors and the entertainment value that the major theme parks in Florida represent.

CEO Robert L. Lee stated, "Anyone who knows real estate knows that southern Florida has been one of the fastest appreciating markets in the country in recent years. Orlando, which is situated in central Florida has also been directly affected by this trend and it is anticipated by real estate professionals this will continue for several years to come. We are committed to increasing shareholder value and feel that we have found a significantly undervalued property. Due to the financial structures that can be utilized for this type of development, we also anticipate that this project will self capitalize a significant portion of the development costs. This will assist to limit the financial impact the project will have on Empyrean and allow it to become a very profitable endeavor for the company."

I think that what happened today, was that many of the bagholders from the run up to .05 a few days ago dumped their shares to cut their losses.
I think once the dust settles then we should climb back to $.04 and higher.

I can't imagine this stock staying low for long unless the news is a farce.

Very true :)  Though the upside may be even more slippery with new bag holders after todays sell off. I am eitching to get back in but I think I may have still better entry near .03 or may be even lower, good luck to all those who hold. I personally thinks this one has a potential.

I believe in the potential of the company too. but every time there is positive news, the rise of the stock can barely sustain for one day. every time it has the same pattern. up after news and slide down slowly, and it hardly moves without news. it seems someone has lots of shares to be sold.  they have jamed the PR with investment over 100 mil in the past month.
it must have been a very good daytrade stock for the past month.
i am so itchy to pull the trigger but couldnt ... lol

any thoughts? keep holding?

I am surprised that the stock did not climb higher today, I was sure it would reach $.05 after announcing $70M building commitment.

I see two possibilities.
1) People are waiting for some kind of confirmation that construction has begun, in which case we should see a tremendous run up.
2) Nothing is really happening, and the CEO or other insider is just trying to sell off his shares so he announces good news every few days so he can sell some off at a better price.
Which would be a very dishonest thing for him to do.

gains of more than 5% are always difficult to sustain. Ppl will take profit :) Nothing can stop that. But they will come back like me, most probably at lower levels. Thats why this stock may attract more buyers near .03 and surely its uptrend will be much more difficult then earlier.

I think this stock will run eventually.  The question is when.  I am not sure what more it is going to take to send this stock upward.

I am thinking that perhaps the CEO is announcing things he plans to do, and maybe until they actually seal the deals (secure financing), the stock is going to hold around these levels.

Once actual financing happens, then we should have a reason to get the upward trend going.

If I had to guess, they should secure financing over the next few months, and then this stock should trade up around $0.25 or better.

I have traded in and out of this stock several times.  Overall I may have made a small profit doing so, but probably been better off just to hold the shares I originally bought at $.023

I did sell off some at $.0525 and again at $.047
Rebought my position position at $.0315 Friday, now I am ready for it to run.

This may be a stock that you could beneift from averaging down with, because I think it is inevitable that we will move up from here.  $120 million investment from a $3M market cap company???  Something's gotta give.

Despite the day-to-day movements being volitile, we are in an uptrend.
Title: Re: Penny Pick: EPYH.OB

the uptrend line in your chart seems to have held yesterday, and so did the bottom of 0.0305 (2 days in a row). this stock is being held at these levels for a reason....I predict resumption of the uptrend based on the chart and the testing of 0.0305 twice in 2 days but holding strong at that level.

no doubt the company has to find ways to finance itself, and sometimes it could be thru' stock options, but the bottom line is the future potential of the company thru' its investments in real estate in florida...this is severely undervaled at this time.

Empyrean Holdings, Inc. Partners With United Construction Group on Proposed $70 Million Orlando Development
Empyrean Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:EPYH), a national real estate holding company announced today that it has partnered with United Construction Group (UCG), a national construction management company, to manage the proposed construction on Empyrean's most recent project in Orlando, Florida. Empyrean is currently designing a large timeshare condominium project for the location and estimates the total project cost to be approximately $70 million.

Empyrean and UCG have pre-existing relationships in place for developments in California, Missouri and Wisconsin and management has determined that UCG would be the best candidate to direct construction on its project in Florida as well. So far this year, Empyrean has established a development portfolio totaling $120 million of very high quality real estate developments in four states and is currently moving through the planning and construction stages of these projects.

CEO Robert L. Lee highlighted, "We are growing very rapidly but we have a clear and concise understanding of our goals and a very well-defined path to achieve them. We believe that the experience of our management partners will allow us to manage our risk and expand the assets of our company in a very cost effective manner. UCG management has directed some of the largest construction projects in the country and we appreciate the opportunity to work with them on these absolutely phenomenal developments."

I don't think the news was anything people didn't already know from previous press releases.
But the price seems to be holding at $.03, and I think it is going to trend upward from here.

I don't think there is much downside though based on what the company is doing -- perhaps short term downside because of the 300% run up in the past couple weeks, but overall this stock should be set to make new highs.

Empyrean Holdings Inc. Attacks $25 Billion Hurricane Katrina Cleanup
Empyrean Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:EPYH), a national real estate holding firm, announced today that management is developing a plan to assist with the $25 billion cleanup of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and on the potentially disastrous situation coming to Texas later today. Katrina damage estimates are greater that $25 billion, with over 150,000 homes flooded.

CEO Robert L. Lee stated, "This is an incredible disaster and yet an incredible opportunity at the same time. I was run out of Houston yesterday with my family by Hurricane Rita and essentially would pay anything to be back at home safe and secure. I cannot imagine losing our home, our property, our livelihood, waiting on the insurance companies to address our claim, and then waiting on a construction company to show up and replace my house.

"The dollars generated from the cleanup and reconstruction of these areas is enormous and it will be important to do it quickly and efficiently. There will be a significant demand for construction by people that want to have their homes rebuilt as quickly as possible. We have already met with some of our partners and are convinced that we are strategically situated to cleanup and rebuild homes lost from the hurricanes. We have already started negotiating landfill options and have begun to recruit workers from our affiliated California construction labor base.

"We will be sending people into New Orleans and the surrounding areas as soon as they open and will be on the frontline of the rebuilding effort. If you want your house rebuilt quickly you should come to us now."

When I think i got the hang of it and hold thru HOM and ZENX as I gain and lose profits, i let EPYH kick my butt.  Take this lesson from me.
Every where i went, i saw-------------- get in EPYH now before its too late.  Well unlike Zenx (.80) & (1.20) i wanted to get in this one early.  So in at .25 and all of a sudden i see negative posts everywhere.  I try not to read yahoo and raging bull, but talk on SOF has been limited, and i did not expect it to be so negative. then it started going down just like the pump and dump and i sold at .17
so let me be the fool on this.  as much as it will kill me for this stock to jump into the $'s i can not let a stock kick my butt 2wice.  i bought it with margin also, so i did panic.  good luck to yall thou, i will be watching from sidelines.

One particular partner has a special priority status in regards to Federal contracts and expects to be able to capitalize on a significant amount of contracts for the company. Current rebuilding estimates range up to $62 billion.

Empyrean management is currently preparing to open an office in the New Orleans area for these partnerships and will begin to pursue contracts immediately. Coordination efforts are already underway to build a very efficient and effective infrastructure to pursue what seems to be an almost limitless amount of work available as a result of the disaster.

I'm planning on picking up some more EPYH.OB at these current levels. PR is due at the end of next week, and the fact they CEO recently threw down a large sum of money to pick up additional shares (in the neighborhood of $75K), good news may be ahead  :).
