Previous 3SOF Picks / Re: Penny of the day: BRVO.OB

I think there is too much speculations here and it is very annoying. Some says it's good to the company and some says its stock price is going to see 50 cents before $2.

We all read the press release and we all doubt that the current terms will be accepted by BRVO. Let's the independent bank do the work and show us the fair value of this company.

The distribution agreement is the key of this deal. BRVO could do it their own but it may take them years to capture a decent market shares. Other companies like PEPSI CO may respond faster to the market's demand and limit BRVO's growth. With CCE,  their existing infra-structure wil help them to compete with the big guyss in the market. I guess more upside than downside.

Also, they are still negotiating the final price. 0.36/share is the option terms. Put it to comparison, BRVO is at 93 cents right now. Since CCE acquires them from 12 shareholders, it must pay more than 0.36 cents.......

Dave actually made a good point in an earlier post. If BRVO can do it themselves to market slammer worldwide, it is not necessary to have CCE in the picture. Since CCE is the one that pursuing this idea, they need to pay a reasonable price. Of course, it won't be  36 cents

I find that the press release is very confusing. But there is nothing written in stone yet. So stay tuned for the new round of news.

Good Luck!

This is what I understand after reading the press release many times

1) 12 shareholders sold their options and warrants to CCE. CCE can exercise at a price of 0.36/share but it doesn't mean the 12 shareholders sold it at that price

2) If CCE doesn't exercise the options and warrants, it won't affect the number of outstanding shares.

3) Since CCE doen't want to take over the company, they want to use the 23% stakes to help negotiate the master distribution agreement.

4) In light of the 80 millions share of direct purhcases, it is still under negotiation. This is not a done deal or may not happen. It all depends on how generous an offer CCE is going to offer.

So In fact, after August 31, the valuation of the stock may remain the same but it may expedite the growth of this comapny. I would definitely hold it and ignore this short-term pullback.

What's the impact of the Coca Cola's deal on the Outstanding shares? Currently, BRVO only has 66 millions shares outstanding. With the 69 millions shares of stock options and potential 80 milions shares of stocks sales, the total outstanding shares may be triple after August. Is my read correct?

But One thing I strongly agreed, we stay long because of the potential of the company. The deal brings them the critical path to expand to more markets and grow faster.

Today is a market up day, it shows a very bearish engulfing pattern. The volume is almost double of yesterday's and the PR news doesn't provide support to the price.

I'm a bit worried about the short term.

The volume is already 13 millions. I guess it will be very volatile down the roads since it becomes more popular.

This is absolutely profit-taking and panic selling.

Positive sign is : It just fills all the gap. If it closes above 1 today, it will continue to run higher.

It looks like lots of stocks are spiking up at the end of day......

I guess some big player buy-in end of day and fear that they may miss the train......

Check ITCD. Same chart as BCGI.  It is bouncing around in close range all day. But at the minute before market close, there is 200,000 shares orders come thru

Is it a buy signal for the next trading day?

Stock Picking / gnlb is rocking
June 23, 2005, 07:37:45 PM
From Street.com

Genelabs Technologies (GNLB:Nasdaq - commentary - research) rose 24.4% after the company said that its Prestara drug has been granted orphan drug status by the Food and Drug Administration. The investigational drug is used for the treatment of lupus. Specifically, the FDA said that the drug qualifies for orphan status as an indication for the "prevention of loss of bone mineral density in systemic lupus erythematosus patients on glutocorticoids." Genelabs says that it has scheduled a meeting with the FDA to discuss the company's options regarding the development of the drug.

The chart sounds too.

I was chosing between BRVO.OB and GLGS on Monday. At that momnet, I thought GLGS had more upside.  :(

I absolutely burned myself(30% loss). I hope I pick BRVO.OB instead

Good Luck Guys. I may join the party when it pulls back.
