Man, I feel your pain between chid and gv today is just absolutely aweful. You would think that chid would have an opposite effect if the US markets are down but i guess not.  if this closes below .80 where is the next support i don't see anything strong until the upper .60s...dang..... i don't know about anyone else but i feel like at this point i am stuck and need to just weather it out.  I believe in the fundamentals and Ramsburg hopefully still feels strongly about the future....

 Hey Elite

what do you think about LBIX and LVLT both look to have increasing volume and bullish trends
turns out there is a pullback today but what do you see as far as trend continuation later in the week.  Thanks!

Other / Re: Gap Fade: Tuesday 04/18/2006

Hey Elite, I am really interested in the "fade the gap" concept. I understand you are using the 5 min chart. What criteria are you using to identify the good fade the gap plays from the list. Are you looking at volume with volatility. How do you know what a good trigger price is once you pick. I have been reading these since you started and i guess i missed how you chose the right one.
thanks

Stock Picking / Re: BCON: Potential = 47% Risk = 13%
December 28, 2005, 02:20:49 PM

I can't believe this it printed 1.76 and that was my threshold after all this and no sooner than when i sold it is now 1.86.  what gave it the bump...i don't see any news on command center.  maybe this won't hold and drop again before the close.

   tokyopua,

I am with you. I have read their reports and looks last time they had a private placement is was to acquire a company i can't pronounce. I think they are focusing hard on expanding and growth potential. Looking at the numbers and i could be off but even with the dilution of the shares their P/E is still around 28, that is not outrageous. i will looking to purchase more around the 4.80s level also. The people not happy with this are the short termers looking for a quick buck. GL

  Hey David,

This looks like a good play. I know when you are interested in a stock you just ensure you are in, ususally with a market order. I just wanted to add the stock as risen 30%+ in the last few trading days and the RSI is around 80 could be overbought in the short term and a pullback might come before the holiday, for those waiting to get in at a better price.  GL

  Tokyopua,
Trust me you aren't the only one kicking yourself for not swing trading it.  My story is smiliar to yours...the stock had a 20% swing...that is crazy..i was watching the level II and i was a click away from taking that profit...waited to long and then was forced to leave it alone.

Livelife,  is there a % that you will definitely take for a guaranteed gain, or do you just watch it constantly playing it by ear?

  David,

I was curious if and when CCE decides to exericse the option to own 51% of the company at .36 a share, what kind of impact is that going to have on the PPS. I would think the first market reaction would be negative. With a lot of companies that would be like a dark cloud always hovering over even when things are good.  I would like to know your thoughts on the possiblity. Thanks.

  Melf Elf....

I like reading your posts and following your TA as you break it down but your last chart is cut off at october...and I can't see what you are talking about. Wasn't sure if you were aware of it or not. Thanks..

Stock Picking / Re: NVAX....another VPHM ???????
November 01, 2005, 02:01:51 PM

hey guys,  I have been looking a level 2 all day and it almost seems that the stock moves faster than the computer can keep up. so unpredicatable. it is definitely a roller coaster ride from hell. you really can't tell what the direction is going to be.

Live life,  what is your take. I would think that the last hour will be what the big guys think it will do tomorrow. i am glued to the screen but to try and beat the market on this one is next to impossible. I would think that whatever comes out tomorrow in the press conference is already factored in. I hope we see one last day of going up if you are following the trend of the last couple of weeks of 3 days up then 3 down and now we are on the second day of up..will see...good luck to all

Stock Picking / Re: Chinese, but defensive: SVA

David, I know you stick to a very diciplined trading plan but did you consider at least holding on to SVA through the President's speech on the Avian bird flu. I know we don't know what he is going to say, but at a minimum he will draw more attention to the issue on an executive level and officially illustrate the US's concern.

I have been waiting for the pullback also thinking that the stock is moving to fast and far away from the trendline.( like SVA corrected)  However, the volume is just crazy and watching the buyer/sellers on level 2 is showing me that the buyers are definetely outnumbering the sellers. Does anyone think that if the volume stays at current levels or even increases in the short term it could continue to delay this retracement. I would appreciate some TA advice. I am still fairly new in properly deciphering direction of a stock by its chart and volume correlation. Thanks...
