Entered HISC at .o67 for next swing trade.

Will add to it if retracement goes to .060, and again if it hits .050

Hi Rocket,

My take is for investors to hold long on RGEN at this juncture.

If you perform a correlation analysis between VPHM as it traded on 8-09-05 and RGEN as it trades today, you will see a great number of parallels. These are visible in the TA in both 1 year and 60 day charts -- especially the 60 day chart. I think a very similar resolution will play out with RGEN eventually. Unfortunately, I think longs are in for a little more blood letting over the next 5 to 7 trading sessions before an uptrend begins. Again, do some comparative analysis with this one, and you will see what appears to be very similar PPS patterns with very similar TA concentric with those patterns stock to stock. Dual or Quad monitors really facilitate comparisons, so if one isn't already running multiple monitors they should consider doing so.

Bottom line -- give it a litlle time.

P.S. are you in Finland? Ever hear of that 70's band named FOCUS?  Just curious... I always liked the fusion stylings of Van Lear and Ackerman...

Penny Stock Picking / Re: IPIX: G-Spot Forming?

IPIX is balanced on the razors edge -- ready to make a "Quantum" leap, perhaps triggering the squeeze long anticipated.

I anticipate the breakout to happen within the next few trading days, but most probably tomorrow.

I'm certainly not too happy that some of you may have been routed with this rec...  One can't always forsee the machinations working behind the scenes, and the Genterra purge didn't allow the significant breakout I was anticipating with SYNX.

It looks like it just fishtailed into the "WAFFLE" pattern.... you know the one... it's that crosshatched grid left on one's face after they smack themselves soundly a few dozen times with a tennis racket! DoH!  :-[

Anyway - appologies for a poorly timed call.  Still, in the long term, I can't see this stock receding back under $2.  It's been there, done that, and scooped out of it. I think it's uptrend time - I'm going to (hopefully) sweeten my position at 2.32 this morning. I know that goes against the better judgement and outlook of older wiser traders, but the bottom line is that I trust my TA, despite the afore mentioned Genterra debacle.

As always - do your "OWN" DD and know your own risks.

Stock Picking / Re: SPIR a buy now
August 30, 2005, 03:42:04 PM
Keep your eyes on SPIR over the next few days --

When it touches back down to that $9.11 - 9.12 - 9.13 level of support it will present an excellent buying opportunity. It should form another small base at that same level and then rise slightly before breaking out in my opinion.

Make a note of this call and *SMITE* me if I'm wrong, but I think the PPS will be trading at near $15.00 within ten trading days.

Rocket - I hope you are on top of this!

It's going to have to blow through $4.27 -$4.30 with lots of steam and soon or it's dead

It has to push and push hard right now between 10:15 AM and 11:00 AM or it's a dead run.

Jeff,

That was a great find (and excellent timing BTW) on SMTX.

You get a full-fledged-frothing-rabid "applause" on your pick.

I'm inspired to figure out an algorithm that can spot the short term swings of highly volatile advancing stocks such as SMTX. Nothing I had in my book of TA was able to precisely target the bottoms and the tops of this issue. I made 38% on it but let go too quickly Friday.

I'm thinking that there will surface a correlation analysis that considers the float and shares outstanding of a stock --- my guess is that an indicator of multiplicitous indicators that factor the float will get the nut.  Anyway, you made a good call, and I hope you will keep up the good work!

Thanks for the confidence, but remember -- each trader has to do their own DD and analysis --

I like this forum because there are so many disparate ideas and views -- always a new perspective, and something to learn from those perspectives...

I hope this indeed plays out profitable for you! Please. Do live with it in the cross-hairs until it resolves...

Hi Virgin,  (Hhmmmmm... a rabid monk and a virgin... NOT!!!)  >:D

Yes, I am familiar with the powerful tool called 'news'. I've witnessed that tool implemented many times as more astute traders have used it to exit technically over-bought positions and leave the more inexperienced bulls holding the proverbial bag.

There is certainly a point where news and "company potential" help issues, but as many will testify, and as many have witnessed -- profit taking is profit taking no matter how one slices it.

Still, despite the technical disparities and anomalies I see with END, I am intrigued to monitor it and just see where it goes. Had I owned it at the end of last week and had I witnessed that gap this morning, my finger would have CRUSHED my "SELL AT MARKET" button at the open this morning.  But that's just me... I do *TRY* to buy low, sell high!  ;)

Seriously, each stock in the market has its own personality, does it not?  I am fascinated to see which timeframe has the most power over this issue -- the long term or the short term.  ??? Your mention of 'news' is an excellent point, as 'news' is just one of the factors in play here -- how the amalgam forms remains to be seen! Anything goes for the moment with OIL stocks... has the FAT lady sung??

Best of luck and trading on this one -- let's hope the market is somehow magically profitable for everyone!

Well, it looks like it bounced off of 3.64 about twenty minutes after my last post.  I think it will continue to bounce up that lower trendline, and then will have one big push into the spike. Keep your eyes open for an unexpected big gap up some AM.  Can't tell ya what to do, but I can tell ya that I'd personally look to dump it on a significant gap.  8)

Good luck!  Rabid

Those poor, poor little 100 share bids just somehow keep buying and buying... they must be worn out!  LoL!  ;D -- (yeah - I'm being a wise ass!)

Check out this image.  Do you believe in the power of reflections?  The hall of mirrors?

Hi Rocket,

No need to panic about your entry point just yet... the long term TA hasn't hit the pegs -- so IMHO you'll see a nice spike between 4.38 - 4.98

The PPS "WILL" have to bounce off that lower trend line at about 3.65 for this perspective to materialize though... it can't go any lower than that over the next few days is my best estimation for the bounce into the spike.

That converging wedge is getting awfully tight. The bounce into the spike might very well happen tomorrow if it pings off that trend line or goes ahead and runs from here.

Take a look at END and you'll see a very similar short term (60 day) wedge with the spike that I make mention of. That spike happened this morning, and being an oil stock, anything goes with END, but under normal circumstances I would abandon ship when those rascals paint the charts!  >:D  You just might want to consider getting on the side lines when RGEN blows past that upper intermediate term trend line.

Hope that helps! Regards, Rabid

It appears that the "spike" I was watching for finally made it home... are my charts lying by showing an open of 5.58 this morning?

Is it possible to see a close of at least 5.64 or 5.65 today?

That would complete my vision for a true exhaustion spike. What is very strange is that I am monitoring various momentum overlays, and as the price is rising, they are falling like stones. NOT GOOD in my book. The same is true for various Fisher Transforms... suffice it to say that the TA in short term analysis looks like tossed spaghetti today. Will it resolve to be an even stronger uptrend? I have to venture the guess of "I doubt it" The PPS (with a strong close) would be far too "outside and up" of MA Envelopes and B.Bands to sustain a push beyond tomorrows open. (IMHO) --- but hey --- it's OIL !   ;)

I'm very curious to see how this resolves this afternoon.
