Penny Stock Picking / Re: PCYG.OB (PKCY)

Apparently they're also savvy enough not to waste their positive PR by publishing it on an FOMC meeting day! I was hoping that was the case.

eliteG,

Any concerns about bigdog's post?

I sold 40% of my position on MONDAY around 4.18 so have mixed feelings -- happy I kept 60%. The reason I sold (reluctantly, because I've been listening to their recent presentations via their website and it all sounds amazing) is because of how high the stock had risen relative to it's 50DMA. At the time it was about 115% above, now 150% above! According to IBD research, "The average winning stock will rise only 50% above the line, and the top 10% of winning stocks will get 70% above the line. When your stock reaches those limits, consider selling or lightening your position." I watched my profits slip away on SVA. Still holding, but I'm tired of giving up my gains. I've discovered that knowing when to sell is a much more difficult thing than knowing when to buy. I know that's stating the obvious. But I'm trying to figure out what works best for me. I've had regrets both selling too soon and not locking in my profits on the way up. Hind sight is 20/20.

Anyway, since IBD doesn't pay attention to stocks under $10 or $12, I'm not sure if that rule is relevant with stocks under $10. Anybody else pay attention to the 50DMA on these up-and-coming but low-priced stocks?

Thanks.

LiveLife, I very much appreciate all the informative posts on NVAX and hope you don't choose to concentrate your posts mainly on Yahoo MB. I have a hard enough time trying to keep up with the posts on 3SOF I want to read and sure wouldn't want to have to try and sift through all the "rude and inappropriate" junk out there on Yahoo. So, whatever additional sites you choose to post on, I hope you won't stop posting here.

Also, with regard to access to premium content, most paid sites offer a 2 or 3 week free trial that gives a person full access to the service. At the end of that time, it's take it or leave it. Maybe that is being offered here. I couldn't tell from the home page.

I, too, hope some of the threads can be combined because I end up checking them all to make sure I don't miss anything on the stocks I own and there is a lot of overlap. I also think with so many more members and more posts the response time on the whole site appears to be slower. I'm not very computer savvy but I wonder if some older threads could be archived in some way that might make a difference in response time.

Thanks.
Theresa
