Watch List / Re: Buying relative strength: NVTL
May 21, 2007, 01:19:58 AM
Not saying NVTL does not deserve to continue to be held  :) ... Just saying I think they are both great stocks.  I have a bit of a bias as I own a good bit of SWIR and only a few shares of NVTL.  I do hold both though... it's been a nice run so far  ;D

Havn't read through the entire thread so it might've been explained.  But how can you invest in NVTL and not look at SWIR?  SWIR has the overwhelming edge in the growing markets (South and East Asia) and has established solid market share in North America.  Explosive growth and improving fundamentals due to management change and good business decisions.  Once good quarter for NVTL and everyone is jumping on board for the ride ... four great quarters and a mediocre one for SWIR nobody takes notice?

How about ACGI?  How long will the run last?

DOVP nice reversal today.  Closed on top of 9/13ema today and bounced off the 61.8 Fib on Wednesday... should get a run back into the low .50s next week.

DIVX had a very nice reversal last week and this week it started to run.  Today bumped up over the 9/13 ema.  Would've been very nice to close above 22.50 today but still a nice day and hopefully will continue to run next week.

SWIR still acting strangely.  Have no idea where it will go next but the strong support between 13.90 and 14.20 should hold.

TRMM fell a bit today and I'm getting a little worried.  2.75-2.80 level will be important... but I think it hit support today and should go up some next week.

CPNE ON FIRE!  Thank you David!  Continuing to hold.  Can't sell until Tuesday anyway since I bought on unsettled funds  ;D

Closed just under $12k to end the week.  Up around 7% since January 1st.

For next week looking at:
SILC
CTCH
ACGI
EGSR
TWTR

and still considering adding more (positive short or long term outlook):
CPNE
DOVP
SWIR

Have a great weekend everyone!

Stopped out of NENG today at 2.25.  DOVP is scaring me a bit but I htink this is just a short term consolidation.  SWIR is acting crazy after announcing great earnings.

Bought 300 CPNE.ob today @ 2.40... let's see where it goes :D

Happy trading everyone.

Hey David,

Would you suggest buying into CPNE today even after the jump?  Still a good prospect for more of a run?

Also what do you think of SWIR?  Announced earnings last night and beat estimates by a few cents and then guided about 30% higher next quarter.  In a growing industry (wireless communications).  Dropped today some after opening up more than 10%.  I know it's a good long term play but any short term potential?

Thanks

School is making it very, very difficult for me to post regularly.  I will post all trades that I make as well as a few symbols I am considering when I have capital available.

Looking to sell TRMM, SWIR, and DOVP with target prices for each.

Anyone in on DOVP?  Anyone able to trade it today?  I see trades going through but for some reason Scottrade is not letting me trade it today.  :-\

What do you think of the Doji right now for TRMM?  Dangerous to stay in or still have upside potential?

I've still got around 3500 shares.  Not quite sure what today's restructuring deal means for the stock price.  I know it means that DOVP will not go bankrupt but other than that I am not sure.   Can someone help me out?  Below is the link to the article on Yahoo about the deal.

January 1st Balance: 11173.39
Current Balance: 12383.93

Return: +1210.54
Return %:  10.8%

I know you don't want Pinks but I really want to know your opinion on DOVP.  It broke through short term resistance today on pretty solid volume and big white candle.  Sitting at highs of the day.  Will it have more room to run?
