FYI

Looks Like Loud is getting some movement today. ;)

Digital music distributor Loudeye Corp. shares more than doubled during the premarket session after the company said it would be acquired by mobile phone maker Nokia Corp. for $60 million. Seattle-based Loudeye shares shot up to $4.40 on INET ahead of the opening bell, up $2.63 from Monday's closing price of $1.77 on the Nasdaq.

Previous 3SOF Picks / Re: CHID.OB has numbers to show

FYI

I had e-mailed Hawk Associates about the Galaxy View numbers.  Here is their response.

It is an anomaly caused by a change in the rules which impacted Galaxy Views' #s for the period ending March 31, 2006.

China Digital Communication Group stands firm with its guidance that the acquisition of Galaxy View International will be accretive.

Regards,
Ken AuYeung, Hawk Associates Inc.

Stock Picking / Re: My pick: GIGM
July 13, 2006, 01:38:59 AM
Melf Elf,

Thanks for the recap. ;)  Have been on vacation in Canada and have not had an opportunity to do any trading.  Looking forward to getting back in the game.  GIGM is definitely a favorite of mine.

So they decided to canel the acquisition with Zhou Tong Power Supply.  Definitly not what I thought was coming.  I'll assume that this deal was really not going to benefit anyone.  After they decided to cancel they are showing an increase in EPS to .16 for FY 2007  with the closing of the Galaxy deal.  With any OTCB stock one will always wonder if this might have been some pump and dump play.

I guess we are going to have to trust the new CEO and the board of directors that this really wasn't in the best interest for anyone.  I also don't believe that the acting CEO purchased 560,000 shares of stock thinking she wouldn't be making some money down the road.

We shall see what today brings.

GTA Requests / Re: GTA Weekend(input)

Hello G,

Good to see you back. :)  Was wondering what you thought of MKTY.  Had a move to $4.50 in May due to a deal with Samsung.  Sold off to $2.50 over the last month.  Is sitting at $2.87.  The 200dma is $3.40.  You think it could get a nice pop in the next week?

Thanks in advance......Alien

Well, the first aquistion(Sono Digital) is to take place in one month to six weeks.  The second is to take place during the 3rd. Qtr.  They are still predicting $30 million in sales and $10 miliion in income with $.13 EPS.  Do not see any problems with the aquisitions, are still waiting for the audits to be completed.

Listening to the replay right now.  The gentleman presenting is not the most stellar speaker. :P  It also appears that the aquisitions are going to take a little longer to close.

Hey G,

Hope all is well. ;D  Place wasn't quite the same without you hanging around. 8)  Wondering what you think of PTSC?  Looks like they might have some more good news with another licensing deal.

I believe the financial numbers that people are counting on are the numbers that are projected for this fiscal year, which I believe starts July 1, 2006.  I think that this information was already posted on the ILNP board before there was a switch.

According to John Mazzuto, CEO of IEAM he stated on a May 23 press release that:

Shareholders can anticipate seeing the company generate $80 miliion in revenue in the coming fiscal year and achieve earnings of approximately .90-1.00 per share on a split-adjusted, fully diluted basis with an application to a major exchange with in ten business days.  As I see it an application should be submitted by tommorrow.

I was wondering do they announce when the application has been submitted or only after it has been approved?  I was also curious how long it takes to get approval once it has been submitted?  I would appreciate any information some one might have on the approval process.

Thanks in advance.....Alien
