Was wondering if anyone else saw this ...

Pretty interesting development here.  Can't say I expected them to do this.  Announced after hours on Friday, will be exciting to see what happens on Monday.

GZFX has actually been trending slightly upward as of late, something they have not done in a very long time.  They've generally had one-day explosions with long declines, but things seem to be a little bit different now.

Keeping my eye on our little friend here.

Stock Picking / Re: Akamai (AKAM)

I toyed with the idea of buying AKAM back in Nov. 2005, but never did.  I feel really stupid now :)
Been performing stongly, wouldn't be surprised to see it go higher.

I sure as hell hope you're right, but we'll see.

I can't say that I share your sentiment completely, but I agree with you, it seems to be in the same sort of pattern before the previous breakout.

ok. like i said early last week i was going to give you my prediction to when GZFX is going to move as a breakout. Now i study the chart and reviewed my DD. Now if my DD is right like it has been on GZFX in its previous pasts run ups, i am predicting that GZFX will breakout to the upside by this week! Bollinger bands are very tight around the pps like it was late to early march before it up. The chart has a pattern that it has created since the first initial run on CC pilot program back in oct. If you look at the charts you'll noticed that GZFX breakouts to the upside (or could to the downside) when the BB are tight around the pps. Mark my words, GZFX will breakout to the upside, in my honest opinion, this week. If not this week for sure next week. But my DD is telling me this week! Noticed the buy ratios to sell orders. There was a lot of buying going through today! Even though we had news i still think something is in the works to have GZFX breakout from indecision mode (sideways trading). That is my prediction! will see what happens! :)

New Florida distribution center opens up Mid-June - at least that's semi-good news.  Doesn't really mean much for the short-term, but at least GZFX is still looking to progress forward as a whole :D

There also seems to be the support around .009, it floated back up above that today.

Finished up 5.5%.  GZFX seems be floating between .009 and .01 - not too sure if it has bottomed out yet though.

We'll see.

Broke that resistance line of 5.50, keeps on moving higher  >:D

Up a good 7%, on higher than average volume.

LiveLife, you could be right again.  ;D

GZFX showing just a little green at the moment, hopefully it'll stay that way.

With apple conforming to windows, I wonder if Linux will have any chance in succeeding.

Well, fortunately, LNUX is also called VA Software Corporation, which owns SourceForge.net, which has over 100,000 software projects.  So it extends itself far beyond the Linux operating system itself.
Not only that, SourceForge has over a million registered users, and since it's an "Open Source" website, it means that a lot of the software available is completely free.
It's true, not many PC users have Linux-based operating systems. (Although, I have used Linux in the past)
The key thing to keep in mind is that Linux will generally always succeed.  Because it's constantly being modified, updated, and tweaked at a much, much, much faster rate than the current Windows or Mac OS's.  It's a very viable OS, but it takes a little bit of computer savvy to know how to use.  It'll always be around in one form or another, but I doubt that it will take over a large portion of the market share.

With all that said, LNUX is currently up over 7.5% today, and it appears to be a very nice breakout, but we'll post the chart at the end of the day.

Today for GZFX was typical to the trend it's been having lately - 3 days of relatively strong selling, followed by a very small rebound day.  I wouldn't really count on today's action as a sign of change until we see what happens tomorrow.  I get the feeling it hasn't really bottomed out, but then again, it's been hit really pretty strongly over the last two weeks.

Still liking LNUX here - looks ready to re-test that 5.50 mark once again.  Still performing strongly, and I think we could close above our little resistance line here.
The only thing that worries me is somewhat declining volume, but we'll see.

50ma will be taken out on monday. 5ma continues to fall and will soon drop below the 50ma, 20ma will soon start a downward trend. cmf is on its way back down to the -.50-.70 range again. macd will soon go negative... i let myself be blinded by this companies service and what i thought was its actual value. normally with pinks youre isolated from their service, in fact, usually they dont even do anything. this one is so easily compared to netflix that you really think youve got something, but its no netflix... yet. dont let the pr's and hope keep blinding you. ive ignored the technicals for too long thinking that news at any time would override them... well that was naive. time to start looking at the charts, and it doesnt look good. it makes me sick, but i think this will trend down to .005.  :-\

i applaud the regulars on here that flipped and studied the charts. fill the gap and so on. i wont make this mistake again. i plan on buying in again at some point later this year. but i need to see whats going on with the A/S and how well the cc deal actually goes.

Godspeed, if GZFX isn't sucking up a whole lot of portfolio room for you (And a penny like this  shouldn't), I think the general idea is to hold onto it.  Unless you absolutely need the money, I'd wait it out.  Patience has paid off on this guy before, so waiting another few months probably won't hurt.
However, if you're into the idea of flipping and making quick profits like many are, then one might just want to take the loss and bail.
GZFX is just more of a "Go with the flow" pick for me.  I don't really mind it's short term action, I'm just more interested to see where this guy ends up in the future.
Honestly, GZFX should be adding a ton more suscribers throughout the year.  They're moving in all the right directions right now, and I don't think they can really worry about investors right now (Which is why we're getting semi-screwed :P)
I don't really like flipping this stock that much, it's been somewhat of a pain, because it never really reacts how we think it will.  I've pulled off a few good trades in the past, but to me, the ideal thing is to just let it ride.

Since my postition is relatively small I'm still holding.

I'll continue to buy/sell periodically, but for the most part I'm staying around.

Patience has paid off with this guy before, and I don't see any reason to run away because I can't make immediate profits.

Jumped in at 4.92, been moving up strongly since then.  I'm liking it :)

Fill_the_gap is probably the most educated guy on these boards in terms of GZFX, he knows the in's and out's of GnF.  I can't blame him for taking the position he's in.  Securing profits is one thing, "panic selling" is another.  However, I do believe there is a lot of panic selling going on (But at 3OSF, no one panic sells, we're smarter than that  ;D ), so it can sometimes get frustrating.
Like I said above, this baby requries patience.  I prefer to pick my sell points rather than jumping in and out - that's generally my style of trading, and each has it's good and bad points.

i'm really surprised to hear that so many here are panic selling.  really, what is different about GnF's business plan or potential from yesterday or last week? because we've traded down two days after trading up for 3 days everyone thinks the sky is falling?  we are still up a heck of a lot from our pre circuit city national roll-out news, and are still above the lows for the stock since that news.  i've done my research, and i still believe strongly that GnF is undervalued.  I will be very surprised if this stock does not make a parabolic move upwards in the near future.  in the meantime, i intend to hold my shares.

I agree with you 100%.  But that's been the whole deal with GnF.  So many shareholders are quick to jump off the bandwagon as quick as they are to jump on :)
That's what makes this stock so difficult to trade.  Eventually, GnF will get out of it when they become a much more solid company, which they probably will - at some point in the future.  For the short term though, there's a good chance that the price will bounce around quite a bit.
I've held onto my initial investment since November.  I'll probably continue to hold onto it for a very long time just to see where things go.  I've added, traded, and sold much more since then, but there's a lot of dormant potential.  For me, GZFX is a long-term investment, despite the fact that it's a penny stock.
But the stepping stones are in motion for success.  Over the last 5 months, I've learned that this stock requries patience, and if you do things at the right time, you can make quite a bit of money :)
