I emailed the link to the earnings news release to someone I do business with...he is a financial advisor who's job is managing some wealth investors portfolios.

My email to him was:
What is your opinion on these earnings? I think their
website is nice and they have a great niche market.
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070228/20070228006053.html?.v=1

He just emailed me this response:
Based on the numbers given, it looks like the officers and directors robbed the common stock holders. If you owned the preferred stock you got a nice dividend, and if you were an officer or director you got a nice bonus
and more stock option grants. The company posted nice #'s but then their
loss increased 300% due to them lining their pockets.

onlinesupplier.com
Avg. Review for onlinesupplier.com:
Traffic Rank for onlinesupplier.com:  9,179

That traffic rank is still great....in the top 10,000 out of over a Billion websites.

Not sure if I understand the concept of why we should not average down 3SOF stock picks. If you are think CPNE is a great long term pick and if a member just signed up today they most likely would start buying CPNE today along with the rest of the portfolio. My past experiences with averaging down were almost always negative...but the great investor Warren Buffet always waited to buy a great companies stock and lower prices....almost always waited for a correction....or a sell off on negative news.  The difference for me is in the past is I might have been buying more of a terrible company. Part of the reason for my membership is that you use a fundamental type of investing...something I was not that good with. I have more technical skills...which means I would have to trade for a living or basically be in front of the computer all day to catch the stock at the right price.

So the question is do we buy more.  ;D

QuoteLook, I've downloaded 7.81GB of music from Allofmp3.com for a very cheap price...

Terliso
Is this website legit? What is their payment method? Not sure if I would want to give out my cc# to a website in Russia.

QuoteMaybe we should have stayed in the short position for a little while longer? I got killed again. Hopefully this was just a bad day for everyone and tomorrow 3SOF will bounce back.

I felt the correction coming, QQQQ (NASDAQ 100 Trust Shares)
volume was light on Tuesday and Dow making new highs...as you see we got hit real hard today. Friday will be interesing...we might see a bounce in the morning...and get a false reading...then finish the session lower again.

People can get very scared when big name stocks get beat down...AAPL, INTC, and IBM after hours down like 6%. (in the past if IBM had a bad day...the stock market had a bad day)

Just checked Bloomberg channel and Dow futures are down 20....

Stock Picking / Re: Stop & Reverse NFLX

I was planning also on the reverse...but by accident...instead of buying to cover NFLX...I purchased more NFLX.  >:( Make a long story short it totally messed up my plans....and it took all day for Etrade to flatten the trade out. When you have a short and a long in the same position it basically evens out...and the buy price they just use as the cover price. (They should have a system that prevents you to even make a mistake).

It turned out okay after all...since I only lost $60 on the trade. This was all done pre-market session 8:05am...the stock jumped another $1 a little while after...and then came back down to almost yesterdays close. A non trade would have been the best move today for me.

I do agree that NFLX outlook is better now than yesterday, but I feel we might see some small profit taking in the markets...which might drag down some leading sectors...technology. Let's hope I am wrong.

QuoteMy approach is just about the opposite of that, so for that reason only, out of respect for David's approach, I'm not going to make any more posts on the technicals in the 3SOF Picks folders, which I think all of you can understand.

Maybe discuss this with David and the other moderators the best way to post...because I feel the more info short term, present, and long term information is an asset to 3SOF. Your rating is over 600 for a reason...members care for your input very much. I have been following the market for almost 20 years (TA for 5 years)...and if I had a service like 3SOF years ago with the current contributors I would most likely be typing this from my Yacht off some tropical island...and not at a busy office working for someone.  ;)

Keep up the goodwork Melf Elf,
Jimmy

hmmmm I want news and found some!!!

http://www.businessweekly.co.uk/news/view_article.asp?article_id=11375

The explosive growth of website's such as YouTube marked out 2006 as the year of video over the net.

New York and Cambridge based On2 set out how its video compression codecs could make video-streaming on demand even more ubiquitous.

Highlights included its trueMotion VP7 compression technology, which allows high-definition video to be streamed at data rates as low as 2Mbps; TrueMobile, a mobile video system aimed at reaching the largest number of handsets across the most networks, including 2.5G, 3G and 4G networks; and On2's transcoding and playback solutions that allow web video content to be played back on any device - TV, PC, and mobile phones - for true cross- platform applications.

Bill Joll, president and CEO of On2 Technologies said: "We are showcasing these because of major customer initiatives behind these solutions, and we expect important consumer electronics products to ship in 2007, as a result."
