David- I bought QID at mid-day on Tuesday, a little before you even.  Then on Wednesday I sold it for a small profit and honestly I was a little confused about my next move...  After reading your approach to buying QID and just holding I was able to start another position and hold it for the remainder of the week.  I just want to say that it was quite impressive how you were able to turn on a dime from a bull to a bear, make an excellent decision and most importantly stick with your decision...  more than one person on this board thought you were crazy at the time.  Nice job.

PS.  I guess I need to become a member if I'm going to profit off your thoughts!

All - Regarding options.  You really should spend some time understanding what you're getting into BEFORE you play with options.  With options you can put $5,000 in and your money can drop to $2,500 before you know it.  They can have a huge reward, but there is also a huge risk involved.  This is the one area of trading that is not best to learn while you are doing it...  trust me.

Me thinks the 3SOF portfolio is now moving stocks...  each pick jumps 3-5% in ten minutes.
