August 24, 2006
Escala Makes Regulation SHO List, Spurs Shorts
Escala Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ESCL) made the Regulation SHO List yesterday. The list, which is published each business day well after the end of trading could have convinced short sellers to cover their shorts before it got too late. According to SEC regulation, a stock that has met the threshold security requirements for five consecutive trading days, must have their short positions cleared below the requirements before thirteen days after being on the list. If the short position is not cleared now, then a forced buyout could be initiated at that time. With that being said, short sellers must be nervous as there are 6.41 million shares short with the public trading float of Escala at just 6.43 million shares. Additionally urging the shorts to cover was an article circulated this afternoon, reporting that the European Commission had decided it would not investigate two cases of fraud linked to stamp-trading company Alfinsa. Hence, there was a spike in afternoon trading by $.92 to $6.14 on heavy volume of 1.6 million shares.

The European Commission has said that it will not be investigating the two cases of fraud linked to the stamp-trading companies. Forum Filatélico and Afinsa in Spain, said that the responsibilities are entirely national. This is because neither company is thought to have broken European stock trading law.

Ingen Technologies, Inc. - Max World News Prepares News Release

Thursday February 23, 7:15 am ET

- Secure Balance(TM) Can Save Millions in Unwanted Medicare Costs -

CALIMESA, Calif., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ingen Technologies, Inc. (OTC: IGTG - News), a medical device manufacturer of OxyAlert(TM), OxyView(TM), and Secure Balance(TM), announces that Max World News has completed the filming and script for releasing the news about Secure Balance(TM) to more than 800 television stations throughout the country and abroad.

The Max World News production crew completed the filming and interviews at the Company's workshop in Jacksonville, Florida on February 11, 2006. They were able to interview the guest lecturer, Raj Katana, MD, as well as Jacob Green, MD; both renowned neurologists in the medical industry. The emphasis of the news story is as follows:

"As the Baby Boomers move into retirement, there is a growing concern about how things like Medicare and Medicaid will be able to pay for their medical care should they get hurt and have to go to the hospital. According to the Center for Disease Control (C-D-C), more than one-third of adults ages 65 and older will be the victim of a fall, which could lead to death, or at the very least, expensive hospital visits and treatments. Prevention may be increasingly necessary to help keep down the rising costs of healthcare. One of the most dangerous hazards facing senior citizens is the risk of a fall and the possibility of a concussion or a hip fracture. As people get older, the cilia in the inner ear, which are responsible for balance, tend to break, which can lead to a loss of balance and increase the chances of a potentially dangerous spill. According to the Center for Disease Control, non-fatal senior falls cost more than 19 billion dollars annually and that cost is rising each year. The best offense against hip fractures is a good defense ... Through new technology there's now a two part treatment process. The first diagnoses if a person is at risk for falling, and the second helps the body to strengthen its balance reflexes though a type of physical therapy called vestibular rehabilitation using the Secure Balance Therapy Trainer. It's estimated that 30 to 40 percent of all falls could be avoided each year, something that this new technology could possibly help accomplish. Dr. Raj Katana says having the new technology could be very beneficial to his elderly patients."

"I receive emails everyday about how our Secure Balance(TM) products have helped improve, and in some cases, indirectly save the lives of patients. More recently a concerned shareholder sent me the following link about a press article in Minnesota regarding fall prevention. We are trying as hard as we can to make everyone aware of Secure Balance(TM) and its' benefits. Fall prevention is one of the 'hottest' topics in healthcare," said Scott Sand, Chairman & CEO.

The following link will provide you a current press story regarding costs related to fall injuries in Minnesota:

Both of these products are low-oxygen safety warning devices used on remote oxygen cylinders for patients, commercial aircraft, military transport, and fire and safety equipment. The Company anticipates entering the nutriceutical and pharmaceutical markets over the next two years.

"Our team of professionals has developed our medical products for the ever-increasing elderly population. Our products are superior to any of our competition and they allow for effective medical product availability to seniors, and at the same time the increasing senior population allows for a steady growth in sales and profits," said Scott Sand, CEO & Chairman of Ingen Technologies.

Japanese Stores Pull U.S. Beef Off Shelves

Japan Pulls American Beef Off Shelves, Raises Suspicion Over U.S. Safety Standards

TOKYO (AP) -- Japanese stores pulled U.S. beef products from their shelves amid renewed fears of mad cow disease on Saturday, a day after the government said a recent shipment from New York contained cattle parts that are a disease risk.

Japan announced Friday it would hold all American beef at ports until the U.S. delivers a report on how prohibited cattle backbone got into a shipment from Atlantic Veal & Lamb Inc. The measure came two weeks after Tokyo lifted a two-year ban on U.S. beef imports.

U.S. Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns promised Saturday to deliver the report "immediately." He sent inspectors to Japan and ordered unannounced checks at U.S. plants, calling the problem "an unacceptable failure" to meet Japan's requirements.

Kyodo News agency reported that Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe will lodge a formal protest with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Robert B. Zoellick on Monday. Zoellick was scheduled to arrive in Japan on Saturday for talks on a range of political and economic issues.

Japanese businesses responded quickly to the suspension of U.S. beef.

Yoshinoya D&C Co., which runs a popular beef-and-rice chain, announced Saturday it had postponed plans to reintroduce U.S. beef at its 1,016 restaurants across the country, citing "grave problems with U.S. compliance standards." The company stopped using U.S. beef in February 2004.

Major deli chain Rock Field Co., Ltd. said it would pull all U.S. beef products from its stores until consumer confidence was restored. The chain, based in Kobe, western Japan, had only reintroduced U.S. beef earlier this week, said spokesman Masao Takehara.

"With all this negative publicity, consumers might not trust U.S. beef for a while" even if imports were resumed, he said.

Once the most lucrative market for American beef, Japan imposed a blanket ban on imports in December 2003 after mad cow disease was first discovered in a U.S. cow.

The ban was lifted Dec. 12, but only for meat from cows ages 20 months or younger, which are believed unlikely to have the disease. The deal excluded spines, brains, bone marrow and other cattle parts thought to be at high risk of containing the ailment.

Japan imported about $1.4 billion worth of U.S. beef in 2003. It was unclear how much the country bought after lifting the ban, but a Kyodo News survey last month showed 75 percent of Japanese were unwilling to eat American beef even if imports resumed.

Criticism was also directed at Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's government for too hastily resuming imports.

"The government bowed to U.S. pressure and put President Bush's wishes ahead of the safety of Japanese consumers. I consider that a huge error of judgment," said Yukio Hatoyama, secretary-general of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan.

Koizumi ordered the resumption of imports based on recommendations made by an expert panel after several U.S. officials, including Bush, expressed growing impatience with the ban.

The premier has defended the decision, saying it was based on scientific grounds.

Mad cow disease is the common name for bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or BSE, a degenerative nerve disease in cattle that is linked to the rare, fatal human nerve disorder Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease.

There have been two cases of BSE in the United States and 21 cases in Japan, but Japan now tests all its cattle for the disease.

More on CYHD

I found an audio interview with the CEO of CYHD.  Mr. Michael Burke discusses their advanced game controllers and the exploding game market in China.  Listen to the interview here: http://www.worldtalkradio.com/playlist.asp?SegmentID=16613

It's quite unbelievable that with all the contracts CYHD has in the pipeline that it's trading at fractions of a dollar.  CYHD could honestly be one of the biggest turn around plays of the year!!

Many times people get in at the top after a company has run up 500% and get left holding the bag, CYHD is in the opposite position, it's trading at an all time low.

CYHD's major market is in China which expects to have 800 million online gamers by 2007.  The gaming peripheral market is $6 billion dollars in the US and is growing at 34% year over year.

CYHD's main goal is to design and manufacture ergonomic products.  They currently have 3 major products:

The Viper high performance digital game controller, Racer and Piranha ergonomic computer mouse, and the pocketop wireless PDA/cellular keyboard.  CYHD's products can be viewed on their site at http://www.cyberhand.com

Tests have shown that gamers using CYHD's viper controllers have a 40% and higher advantage over competitors. This means a lot to those that play video games, which is in the millions.  With new game systems coming out very few months such as the xbox360, gamers expect more.  I believe CYHD's products are going to be top in the industry.

Carpel Tunnel Injuries is another major concern for CYHD that is why their mouse have been designed to eliminate these type of common injuries.

very nice pick

this is an E-mail that I got last  sunday :)  :)

Date: Sun, 6 Nov 2005 20:38:47 -0600

Watch List for Monday 11-7-2005

My new pick is CYHD

CYHD is down substantially since summer and has been trading flat for some time now.  This is why I think CYHD has bottomed.  Take a look at this chart: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=cyhd&sid=0&o_symb=cyhd&freq=1&time=7  Notice how CYHD is trading flat, I don't believe it can drop any lower which mean you won't be catching a falling knife.

I believe the reward potential in CYHD far outweighs the risk.  Currently trading at .07, it is extremely undervalued.  Earlier this year CYHD traded as high as $2.45!!

CYHD is in the computer peripheral design business specifically wireless ergonomic keyboards and mices.

If you carefully read over all the news from CYHD that has come out in recent months, you will notice that CYHD has landed some very big contracts.  These contracts don't take affect until early 2006, which means CYHD will see big dollars this coming year.

I believe at the current price those who get in now could see tremendous gain potential when CYHD reports earnings in 2006 from all the contracts.

One contract alone with Connection Devices will result in minimum revenue of $7.2 million!!

CYHD is uniquely positioned to take advantage of three market conditions: the growing appetite for high-performance adaptable keyboards for PDAs and Smart Phones, the growing awareness of the ill-effects on consumers and employees of computer-related repetitive stress injuries (RSI) such as carpal-tunnel syndrome, and the demand for the fastest high-end gaming controllers.

CYHD, through its American distribution efforts with Connection devices Distribution Inc., will establish itself as a premier manufacturer of quality, performance driven Pointing Devices and Smart Wireless Keyboards.

Bill Gates was once quoted for saying he would like to see a computer in every home, not only do I think this has happened but there are probably a few computers in every home. CYHD will bank on this mass phenomenon.

CYHD has already completed the design of 2 ergonomic mouse products that will eliminate repetitive stress injuries such as Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. This is a very big issue, as it cost companies over $2 billion a year in compensation. According to the U.S. Department of Labour, reports of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome consistently comprise over 65% of all occupational illnesses in private industry and require the longest recuperation period of all conditions resulting in lost workdays, with a medium of 30 days away from work.

CYHD also has a wireless PDA and Smart Phone keyboard that is currently shipping to top electronics retailers including, CompUSA, Fry's Electronics, Radio Shack, Circuit City, PC Mall, Micro Center. CYHD has already sold more than 400,000 of these units.

nice pick setravis
I got an e-mail from  hototc.com    and here is the e-mail

   VLXC

I think it's pretty rare to find a company that is actually trading at expected earnings!  Actually it's probably unheard of.  Many companies trade at multiples times their earnings, most don't make money and may never make money.

A company like VLXC is a true hidden gem!!  VLXC is truly a rare breed.  They reported revenues of  $40 million in 2004 and on target to make $60 million this year!!!  When wallstreet catches wind of this company, I don't think we will see these prices for very long.  A company profile can be read at  http://www.veltexcorporation.com

Clothing is probably one of the most lucrative types of business out there.  Its no wonder every actor, singer, and rapper eventually starts their own line.  Clothing is where the money is.  VLXC also owns Veltex Explorer which makes hats for top name brands.  Their licenses include: John Daly, Everlast, Indian Motorcycle, Top Flite, Strata, Navigator, Budweiser, Tommy Hilfiger.  All the brands can be viewed here: http://www.explorergear.com

Upon speaking to Javeed Martin, the CEO of VLXC I learned a very interesting story.  Mr. Martin started out as a small cap investor himself.  He had invested his life savings into a company trading at $2 which eventually went to the high $80s where he cashed out and made millions.

Maybe the company he started will do the same for other small cap investors?  The future for VLXC definitely looks bright.  Clothing will always be in style and VLXC's revenues continue to grow every year.

Read over all of VLXC's press closely, and you will agree with me that this company is truly undervalued.

Verso Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRSO - News), a leading provider of packet-based solutions, today announced the introduction of its new carrier grade application filter, which offers a bandwidth optimization and content management tool specifically for the carrier market. This new application provides the most comprehensive array of optimization and content management options currently available for cable operators and internet protocol service providers seeking to selectively disable undesirable network traffic and improve service levels on their networks.
