Stock Picking / Re: HAUP is hopping!!
August 13, 2007, 01:26:45 AM
They were great. I bought a bunch at $3.44. My average now is $3.92 and I could not be happier. I own 52K shares an I am keeping them until they go to $6+. This is a great buyers market if you have the cash.

Good luck

TARGET: $15+ in 2008

SIMC will report 2Q 2007 next week. The recent nasty market has SIMC trading near the 52-week low making it a great buy under $6.

On May 15, 2007 SIMC reported 10c/share 1Q 2007 net income vs. 8c/share in 1Q 2006.

Revenues were $31,407,512, up 44% from $21,822,731 in the same period in 2006.

Despite this significant improvement, SIMC management was not very happy with these results and expects improvements in every quarter of 2007 and beyond.

Sam Russell, Chairman, commented, "Although the first quarter of 2007 showed a 44% increase in sales over the first quarter of 2006, our performance did not meet the internal goals we had set as a management team. Some of our plans for vertical integration of products had been delayed due to customer review and acceptance. We believe that these delays are temporary, and we will see the increased benefit of this integration throughout the rest of 2007."

Jim Cramer recently stated:

......"I've locked in some partial profits on positions that have good strength ....... and added to positions such as Micronetics Wireless (NOIZ:Nasdaq) and Simclar (SIMC:Nasdaq). ..
"

Why woulD Jim Cramer even know about tiny SIMC?...I believe it is  because SIMC is a growing and superbly managed company making money every year ......recession or  no recession.

+++++SIMC INVESTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

* Market cap: $35M

* Est. 2007 Revenues: $120M

* Estimated 2007 Net Income: 40 - 60c/share

* 1.6 Million Shares in Float

* Profitable in 10 of 11 years (2001 was the exception)

* Insiders own 75% of the company.

* SIMC has over a dozen manufacturing plants in the US, Europe, China, and Mexico

SIMC recently acquired Litton InterConnect (now Simclar Interconnect), a profitable division of Northrop Grunman. This is a a world-leading supplier of high-performance backplane interconnect solutions to major blue-chip customers in markets as diverse as network, wireline and wireless infrastructure, defense, aerospace, and electronic data processing.

The Ozark Newsstand recently reported that Simclar Interconnect inked a deal under which it would move its operations and 115 jobs in Springfield, MO, to Ozark, MO.

The city of Ozark granted Simclar a generous tax incentive under which the company will lease machinery and equipment for $1 per year for five years. Simclar will receive roughly $500,000 in tax credits. This incentive package is an additional 15c/share to SIMC's bottom line going forward.

Stock Picking / Re: BLUE
August 10, 2007, 08:05:08 AM
For those of you you who like low floaters BLUE @ $0.92 might just be a huge surprise in just a few quarters. The company has a new CEO and new and stronger management.

The stock plunged recently to under $1. IR says that they don't know the reason for the collapse and that they are on track to meet guidance given last quarter which is to be profitable for 2007.

With only 3M shares on the float any upside surprise on earnings next week can turn this undervalued company into a huge % gainer.

TARGET: $1.5+ AFTER EARNINGS on 8/14/2007

..........PFSW HIGHLIGHTS...............

- AMAZING eCOST DIV. TURNAROUND!!!

- $450M REVENUES

- $45M MARKET CAP

- STRONG BALANCE SHEET

- POISED TO RETURN TO PROFITABILITY

- On July 9, 2007 PFSW surprised the street by announcing that on August 14, 2007 its eCOST division will report $26 M in revenues for Q2 2007. This a 19.25% revenue growth from Q1 2007.

- In a previous CC management estimated that with its new cost structure, online retailer eCOST would be profitable when it reached $25M in revenues.

- The poor eCOST performance, after being acquired in early 2006, was the main reason for PFSW losses and poor stock performance. Prior to the eCOST acquisition PFSW traded North of $3.

- The eCOST turnaround is very timely as the strongest season for this division, the Holiday season, is coming up.

- The eCOST turnaround is due to a focused effort by management to improve its  performance by improving customer service, product selection, marketing results, etc..

- In Q1 2007 PFSW predicted that for the whole group it expects to net EBITDA of $8 to $10M for 2007. PFSW reported an EBITDA of only $2.5M for 2006. This is a 300% to 400% improvement!!!

- In Q1 2007 PFSW reported EBITDA of $0.8M

- Based on the above, PFSW will have to average about $2.5M to $3.0M in EBITDA for 2Q, 3Q, and 4Q  to meet its guidance for 2007 .

- Should PFSW report an EBITDA of $2.5M for 2Q 2007 on August 14, 2007 it will beat 2Q 2006 EBITDA loss of $0.7M by 500%.

PFSW generates about $450M/year in revenues and its market cap is only $46M!.

Fair value has been estimated to be $6 based on comparables should  PFSW return to consistent profitability as it did prior to the eCOST acquisition.

PFSW has a solid balance sheet and solid fundamentals. I expect that it will be trading North of $3 after Christmas. Even at $3, PFSW would still be trading at a deeply discounted P/S of about 0.3.

MY TARGET IS $3+ BY FEBRUARY 2008
#10
I EXPECT UPGRADES IN DAYS TO COME. YESTERDAY RESULTS ARE A LOT STRONGER THAT 1Q 2007 WHEN BEXP WAS TRADING AT $6.5+
#11
BEXP reported strong earnings AH today beating revenue and net income estimates by a significant margin.

Without the one-time $6.5 million non-cash ceiling test impairment charge ($4.1 million after-tax) on oil and gas properties the net income is 12c/share......This is 50% higher than analysts' expectations.

BEXP exceeded revenue estimates by a mile....BEXP Reported $36.6M 2Q revenues.

Analysts estimate: $28.34 - $34.4M.

BEXP increased cash and cash equivalents by $5.1M

MANAGEMENT COMMENTS

Gene Shepherd, Brigham's Chief Financial Officer commented, "In the second quarter, we saw a continuation of the production ramp we experienced in the first quarter 2007, with our second quarter volumes up 12% sequentially and up 27% over prior year volumes. Furthermore, our second quarter volumes exceeded the high end of our updated production guidance range of 46 MMcfe per day that we had issued in late June.

Exclusive of the non-cash ceiling test impairment charge, this production ramp combined with our ability to control our costs contributed to one of the strongest quarters financially that the company has experienced."
