PHAZAR CORP Announces First Quarter Financial Results

MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PHAZAR CORP, (NasdaqCM: ANTP) announced today the results of operations for the quarter ended August 31, 2007.

The Company recorded a net profit of $176,242 (8 cents per share) for the first quarter of fiscal year 2008, compared to a net loss of $100,188 (4 cents per share) for the same period in fiscal year 2007. Net Sales for the first quarter were $1,861,576 compared to $1,100,515 for the same period in 2006.

PHAZAR CORP's sales and income increased in the first quarter of fiscal year 2008 due to the increase in United States Government spending for the antennas and towers PHAZAR CORP provides to U.S. Government military and civil agencies.

The Company's backlog of orders totaled $3.0 million on August 31, 2007. The backlog on August 31, 2006, totaled $1.6 million.
