I jumped in also today ;)

Sold CHINA for 19% profit & bought DNDN ;)

Thaa-at's better!

Volume improved, to 1½ times average 100 day volume, but that still isn't good enough for a QUADRUPLE breakout.  Players "should be" jumping all over this, and they aren't.  DNDN gets marked down for that.

4.95 was the September 5 high.  That got taken out on an intraday basis, but the close was only 4.92.  That could be a "teaser," but it gets marked down again for not CLOSING above 4.95.

All Fibonacci pairings of RSI are Bullish.  MACD is above its signal line, and above zero. Bullish.

Overall, scores for Technical Merit....

(Judges #5 and #6 are The Scotsman and Melf Elf, who find this stock vexing)

ScottishTrader

personally i think it looks quite nice... i'll give it an 8 ;D

kslifka

Yep...it would have been nice to close above 4.95. :-\  and it may drop some in the very...very near term.  but I still believe this one is ready to pop shortly.  It has a very nice ascending trendline today at 4.40, but I think the 50dma should at least provide good support in this situation.  I've seen this situation too often  not jump on board.  Thanks Melf Elf and ScottishTrader for you analysis. I believe volume will kick in.  I may be eating crow...but we will see. :D

Scotsman,

I had you giving it only a 6.5 since DNDN has vexed us so much.  I should have known that you were both brilliant and generous!  :D

kslifka,

Yeah, a pullback to the top of the Symmetrical Triangle for a breakout re-test might in store in the very near-term, as you say, but I wouldn't want to see any more than that.  Then it gets "sloppy" again.  :P

The technicals look very good here.  DNDN needs to quit horsing around, and RALLY!  :D

Alister,

Nice going on CHINA.  Good luck on this one!   Let's make some $$$  ;D

kslifka

Hopefully this will bring in the traders :)

Sold 25% of my DNDN position at 5.18.  Gain: 13.1%

Target #1: 5.17 (The Top of the Symmetrical Triangle) MADE

There she goes 5.22 as I write ;D

kslifka,

That restores my faith in QUADRUPLE breakouts! We at least got Target #1.  :D

Good luck to all of us!  ;)

Melf Elf

5.28 was the February 21 high, so we've printed an 8-month high here.  It's nice to see that and this might be about it for the day, which would be fine.  Now we need to hold most of the gains on the day for a nice white candle.

Volume finally is coming in.  We're already over 1 million shares, near 2X average 100 day.

We might have to raise our marks for Technical Merit after today's session.  ;D

Terliso

DNDN going to six bucks... ;) yeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... ;D ;D

kslifka

Nice Close. ;D

News on the Way??

Melf Elf

I went back to the top of Page 15 (November 1, 2005...almost one year ago) and gaive a "folder applause" to everyone who posted in this folder since then:

Oliver (laonda), kslifka, The Scotsman, Alister (Terliso), Willey, Bigdogs, logocovet, Basonista, and Michael.

What a great read, going back one year, if anyone has time.

A quick walk down Memory Lane...

The Basonista Trendline...The UBS call in July, 2005, for $4...the November 7, 2006 Fast Track Approval Status for Provenge that resulted in a DOUBLE failure at the The Basonista Trendline, at 6.22, then the tank below the UBS $4.00 target... The Wave 5 "fakeout" low that came in on May 15, 2006, at 3.68, vindicating the UBS call...

Mercy, this has been a long-g-g time, recovering from all of that!

This is the type of chart that could expode to the upside, even without any news, like GIGM did on September 7, strictly on a technically based rally.

I didn't see any news, but it's nice to see all of our efforts finally pay off, even though I'm still a bit vexed that I held this sucker for 4 months, sold it for an 8% gain, then "paid up" for it, at 4.58.  Oh, well...

I got paid well for holding it for 4 days.

Technically, we closed above the February high of 5.28.  The close was 5.29.

Volume, that I've been whining about, finally came in: 3 times average 100 day average.

Target #1: 5.17 MADE.

We really can't ask for much more than that.  Very-y nice day.  A pullback from here would be fine, but not too much!

Scores for Technical Merit....

Please Wait...Judge #6, Melf Elf, still is vexed about having to "pay up" for the stock...

Okay, the scores are in....

>:D 10...10...10...10...10...6.1818... >:D

ScottishTrader

All I can say Melf, is you deserve the most applauds on this one (and yes I do remember our DNDN discussions a year ago...)  and some well deserved profits from this little devil >:D

Unfortunately, these last 4 days I have been discussing it with you from the sidelines (don't ask me why, just had my money elsewhere and didn't pull the trigger???)  but it sure does look good, doesn't it?

Who knows, maybe I will take a little ride  (note to self: I've been trying to get my money out of the market for the last 2 weeks to change brokers, which is a good thing, but it has to sit in my trading account for 3 days before it clears, and I keep seeing stocks that I want to jump in on and get my money all ties up again!! grrrr!!!  Must take a break!!!)

ScottishTrader

This looks to be the news that caused the breakout (beyond strict technicals....)
