August 23 Analyst Julie Chen of Brean Murray reiterates his "buy" rating on American Oriental Bioengineering (ticker: AOB). The target price is set to $16.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that acquisitions are integral to the company's key growth strategy. The sophistication and competence of American Oriental Bioengineering's management, as demonstrated in China, are the primary drivers of the company's success, the analyst says. There are no risks involved in the closing of the Changchun Xinan Pharmaceutical acquisition, Brean Murray believes.
