I think we are going to have to have patience on this one...at least I will...not looking at it intra-day.  6000 shares brought it up 10% maybe this is a sign that there is no supply?  :)

Novastar Resources In Negotiations to Acquire Interest in Second Australian Thorium Property
Wednesday July 13, 12:45 pm ET

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2005--Novastar Resources Ltd. (OTCBB: NVAS - News) has announced that it is in negotiations to acquire an interest in a second Thorium property in Australia. In April of this year, Novastar Resources acquired its first Thorium property in Queensland, Australia.
Negotiations for the second property commenced two weeks ago as Novastar is committed to pursuing the acquisition of both domestic and international Thorium stockpiles and in-ground reserves. Consummation of any final agreement is subject to positive feasibility and drilling reports. The Company has also noticed a significant increase in Thorium mining activity within Australia.

As part of Novastar's overall business strategy, the Company has prioritized the positioning of itself as a major global supplier of Thorium compounds. The company anticipates a surge in international demand, for Thorium, as world governments learn about the economic, environmental and social benefits of Thorium utilization. In addition Novastar Resources is focusing on strategic partnerships with United States based companies, as a means of generating national interest in Thorium based solutions.

Paul Carter, President of Novastar Resources, stated "Novastar is actively seeking to secure interests in as many econimically feasible Thorium properties as possible. Novastar will continue to invest in the future of alternative energy, through future acquisitions in the space"

There is increasing interest in utilizing Thorium as a nuclear fuel because Thorium is a more efficient nuclear fuel and far less radioactive than Uranium. Also, all of the mined thorium is potentially useable in a reactor, compared with the 0.7% of natural uranium, so some 40 times the amount of energy per unit mass might be available. Therefore, the thorium fuel cycle, with its potential for breeding fuel without the need for fast-neutron reactors, holds considerable potential long-term. It is a key factor in the sustainability of nuclear energy.

About Novastar Resources

Novastar Resources, Ltd. is a publicly traded company within the commercial mining sector and is a significant commercial mining source of Thorium, a naturally occurring nuclear energy more efficient and far less radioactive than Uranium. The company's stock is traded and quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol NVAS. Further information is available on the company's website at www.novastarresources.com.

All I know is that lately, every stock I pick I end up immediately losing 10-25% on it, usually the same day if not a couple days later.  It is getting very annoying. >:(

eliteG

man that hurts  :'(..falling with every news piece..hate that  >:(... i'm thinkin this became a longer term play and I promised myself it wouldn't happen.  What do you guys think?

anthony420

I dumped all of mine last week at .195. I said that the PR announcement from the CEO was bullshit and these latest announcements are the same. Cut your losses and dump it. Buy some MYNG, much more promising in my opinion.

Loffigus

I am out at $.161
That hurt big time lost -39%
Oh well, gotta move on.

gmarc66

well..hoping not to have to take another loss..is there any possibility this will still move evenutally, say past .025 at least....cause if that's so..then i would just rather hold until it gets there? any speculations?

thanks very much,

julia

anthony420

You cannot think like that, you must sell, take your losses and buy something else. If you wait around for stocks to rebound, you will grow old doing.

cumulina

anthony420...I really do like the idea of the company.

I hope it'll come back up again.

I know that it's not right - seen from the perspective of a trader, so maybe I'll just have to mark this one "Investment".

Yes!
Investing in the future  ;D

I'll hang on for a while longer.
Happy trading...
